I scheduled a visit with 24/7 electric to look into a couple of circline lights in our house that were not working. Scheduling was easy and the technician (Alex) was on time, but that was the only good part. The charge was $195 per hour which I agreed to. When Alex arrived, I described the problem to him. While he checked the lights, I pointed to Alex that the issue may be related to faulty ballast, and I had a couple of extra ballast if he wants to test it out. Immediately, Alex mentioned that his visit was simply for troubleshooting and he won't be making any repairs. It was not clarified during scheduling our appointment that there won't be any repairs done during the visit. For future, they should clarify that $195 is the cost of troubleshooting only and it would not include even the simplest of repairs. Alex said that the problem is not the ballast, since usually when ballasts go bad, they make a sound. He suggested to replace the bulbs even though my current bulbs were new. Although I was skeptical of this troubleshooting, I accepted that the bulbs could be a problem.
Next day, I bought brand new bulbs from home depot and installed them. However, the lights still won't work!!! I called Alex and guess what, he now says the problem are likely the faulty ballast!! 24/7 then quoted me $319 to come back to my house and replace the ballasts!
In short, according to 24/7 the troubleshooting for which I paid $195 was incorrect and I need to pay an additional $319 to fix the problem that I had already diagnosed myself.
I called Alex's supervisor to report this issue. I asked that 24/7 electric deduct the $195 that I paid for troubleshooting and come back to fix the lights. He said that he'll talk to his boss and get back to me. It's been 5 days, but I've not heard back about how 24/7 electric plans to fix this problem.
My advice to readers is to stay away. They intentionally hide the fact that $195 does not include any repairs or fixes. Even without the repairs, their troubleshooting of the problem is not correct. Alex seemed inexperienced about ballasts and couldn't correctly diagnose the issue. They don't seem to care that they charged $195 for no service. I almost never put reviews on yelp, even if I get bad service, but my experience with 24/7 electric has left me frustrated and annoyed. I paid $195 but nothing is diagnosed or repaired. Save your $$, find someone else!!

We called Treat's to have them come by and service our furnace. Nick, the technician, was super helpful and friendly. He was able to figure out that we needed to replace the inducer motor assembly. Definitely 5 star service from Nick. Afterwards, Kate from the service department, was the person we had to deal with to get the rest of the service scheduled.
According to my wife, Kate had terrible customer service over the phone. From the beginning of contacting Treat's to the follow up of trying to schedule the rest of the work, we couldn't believe that someone can talk to someone over the phone the way she does and expect to keep their business. So we decided to not continue with Treat's because of how rude Kate was over the phone and will look elsewhere to complete the repairs. 0 stars for Kate.

Fast, polite and well done! The office responded promptly to my on-line inquiry and had me scheduled in 2 days for a non-urgent repair. Bronson and Josh called exactly 30 minutes before arrival right on time. Explained what my options were re: the repair. And also upgraded the bathroom and kitchen circuits to gfi. They were done in a little over an hour. I appreciated their transparency on pricing.
Highly recommend and will use again if needed.

Paul installed two new circuit breakers in our house for our home gym and he did an amazing job.
One of things I appreciated was that Paul gave us a detailed quote, explaining all the costs associated with his work and even gave us a window frame of how long the work would take him to complete.
Paul is also a great communicator, with explaining what he's doing when he's doing it and asked us crucial questions, before proceeding with the work.
Another thing I liked was how he labeled the new outlets, so we know which plug belongs to which circuit breaker. Also when he was done it looked like he wasn't there, no mess, just two new outlets with labels.
Last but not least, Tacoma Power came to inspect his installation which Paul told us is required, Paul even gave us a form explaining that with other detailed information. So when the electrician from Tacoma Power came over to our house, the electrician took no more than 5 minutes to look over Paul's work and said everything was great. I asked the electrician if he needed to know who did the work, and he said he already knows that it was done by Paul based on the work. The electrician also stated that Paul does high quality work, and is one of the best electricians he knows.

AAA and David did a large project at our private residence. I have nothing to say but positive things about our experience with AAA. They were on-time, efficient, and communicated very well with us on all of our needs. They even identified some potential safety issues and resolved them. I feel like I can trust AAA and will definitely be a return customer!! Highly recommended to anyone on the island needing electrical work done.

I had a 30 year old, old electric coil cooktop, that tripped a fuse and stopped working. I decided to upgrade to a new flat surface cooktop. The electrician came out, and installed the new one to perfection. I also had some trouble with the power in my garage that they helped me with. I have nothing bad to say - 5 stars all the way.

These guys are now my go-to guys for any electrical work. They fixed some switches in my house, and also lighting in my laundry room and garage. They even fixed my air-conditioning unit! This last part impressed me. They quickly realized the problem wasn't the power to the unit, but actually due to a clipped wire inside the unit -- they took it apart, fixed the wire, and restored A/C to my house... something the previous guys I had called (AC specialists) weren't about to find/fix.
I trust them. They give their prices up front. They are courteous and fast. I will definitely call them if I need an electrician. They live up to their name!

My furnace is old and coming into winter I needed a maintenance service so called Hunt's. They came out quick and did an inspection where I was told that the heat exchanger had a 'large hole' and it was unsafe to use. The tech showed me a picture (attached) and I was confused because the opening looks like it's supposed to be there. I asked if he was meaning the hairline horizontal fissures in the round opening? No. He meant that hole wasn't supposed to be there. I said thanks, paid them $175, and then called for a second opinion. The sales person from Hunts tried to pressure pitch me a $5k or $7500 new furnace. Immediately started offering 50% discounts if I took installation the next day, which I didn't.
Hunts is clearly a company with people on straight commission, or at least that's how they behave. Which is a bad deal for homeowners and for that I'd stay away. This almost was a $5000 mistake for this first time homeowner.
The second opinion confirmed for me (glendale heating) that there's nothing catastrophic about my furnace but it does simply need cleaning. And I'm missing a couple of screws now from the last guy. He had me take a carbon monoxide hand monitor to every vent in the house to check, and nothing was present. I'm now having my furnace maintemanced, (another $225), and will be calling Glendale next year for a new furnace.
