Leon Treat started Auburn Sheet Metal & Heating in 1973 with a desire to serve his community and provide for his family. Had a leaky coil on my heat pump. They came out and diagnosed the problem and we're able to replace the coil rather than replace the entire system as another company had said needed to be done. The cost was about a quarter of what an new system would have cost.
We called Treat's to have them come by and service our furnace. Nick, the technician, was super helpful and friendly. He was able to figure out that we needed to replace the inducer motor assembly. Definitely 5 star service from Nick. Afterwards, Kate from the service department, was the person we had to deal with to get the rest of the service scheduled.
According to my wife, Kate had terrible customer service over the phone. From the beginning of contacting Treat's to the follow up of trying to schedule the rest of the work, we couldn't believe that someone can talk to someone over the phone the way she does and expect to keep their business. So we decided to not continue with Treat's because of how rude Kate was over the phone and will look elsewhere to complete the repairs. 0 stars for Kate.

Treats was absolutely fabulous- after they were told it might be 2-3 weeks the part came in much sooner than expected and the next day they got my system fixed. Greatly appreciated!!
During our annual service call with Treats... the repairman found two things that needed to be repaired on our 30 year old furnace... The parts were ordered and a few days later installed and we couldn't be happier to know our furnace is ready for winter!

My 25yo hvac system decided to stop working during our first big heat wave of the year. OF COURSE that's when it would stop, right? I figured Treat's would be swamped with repairs so when I called Wed morning at 10, I fully expected I would need to wait a week or two for someone to come out (I do keep a portable ac so that I have backup in a situation like this). BIG gold star to Kate who had a schedule opening the SAME DAY. (my family in California is amazed at this kind of service!)
Matt arrived at 4:30 and I have to say, he is the HVAC Whisperer as far as I'm concerned. I had two theories on what was wrong, both of which were wrong. Matt was able to diagnose the problem in about 5 minutes and quickly fix it. Matt asked me how my system had been cooling (so-so, which I figured had a lot to do with my heat pump's antique status and our increasingly HOT summers) but he had heard a slight noise that to him sounded like my system was low on freon. Turns out he was right. Even though it was past 5pm, he willingly got more equipment out and got my system topped up which has significantly improved the cooling power.
I definitely breathed a huge sigh of relief that my system could be repaired given it's age and I appreciate the expertise of Matt and the responsiveness of Kate and the whole experience with Treat's. Highly recommended!
Another outfit came to our office and quoted us for a new heating/cooling system. I don't have to tell you how much will that cost. Anyway, my husband Derrick worked with Treats for his office projects suggested to call Treats. So, I did, their diagnosis - coils needs to be cleaned. Way more cheaper than a brand new system. I like their honesty.
I have had Treat's service my furnace every year for many years! They are always quick to schedule my appointment and their service men are always friendly, and very efficient! They explain what they have done, wear shoe covers in my home and my furnace has run great for years!
Just had Treat's come out to replace our existing 25 yr old AC unit. We did lots of research and got 3 different bids before hiring Treat's and can highly recommend them for your HVAC needs. Great communication from Jodie in the office as we decided exactly which product was best for our needs and then a quick turn around for ordering and installation. Pros from start to finish!

Slept so poorly when it hit the upper 80s in June 2021 because our Heat Pump wasn't working. After the first night in this unbearable heat, we had two choices, call for repair or get a hotel room. We are glad we chose the second option because Treat's had us up and working well before the next day of upper 80s heat. Now we are so cold (a good thing) that even ice cream won't melt! Tonight's sleep will be extremely pleasant and without the sweats.
Treats did a remarkable job servicing our unit and a super fast turnaround too! I will definitely stay with them as our only service provider because their service is TOP NOTCH! I do recommend for anyone wanting service work on their AC/Heat Pump to go with these guys because they are the best!

Treats has been my go to place for the last 10 years. I really got to know them when I was building my forever house and they designed and installed a beautiful system in my house, all the ducting was made to fit in their metal shop. It is so nice looking I cannot bring myself to cover it up, it gives my basement ceiling the mechanical Starbucks look. I also am a builder/remodeler and have had them fab up some custom ducting to work in unusual situations along with other whole house systems. They also take care of rental units that I maintain, and when its more than something simple I give them a call and they are out within 24 hours if it is a furnace down situation during cold weather. They also did a couple of gas furnaces for a duplex at a great price, they took into account that both furnaces were at the same site and gave a price break, Great to work with! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Incredible efficiency and very good quality units. Bill came out for the consultation and recommended the best product for my need. Our experience with Treat's was excellent. Just moved in to a new home and found out the heat pump was not working properly. Matt was right on time, friendly and had us up and running in a short period of time. We were relieved the unit was still serviceable and the bill was not astronomical. Had Treat's out for the first time today to get our furnace serviced. The tech ( I believe Johnny with the great southern accent) was on time, worked To get the job done and was very, very professional. I will for sure use them again for my yearly service. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me, also let me know about some other things I can do to help with improving my power bill! Thanks for your kindness and hard work! Also when I called to make my appointment they were so kind on the phone and even able to get me on the schedule for next day! You gained a new customer for sure!!!

Treat's came to fix my furnace two years ago on short notice. I previously had another company out there who tried to convince me the furnace needed to replaced and wanted me to spend a lot of money buying a new one. The Treats guy had a totally different attitude, said it should be fine after he fixed it up. It has been running great ever since.
I just had them out again to replace my hot water heaters. They did a great job, were super friendly and did it for way less than a quote I got from another company to do the job.

Extremely happy with Treat's service. We are in the process of selling our house and had an Inspection checklist to work thru that included electrical work, as well as heat pump and furnace maintenance. Matt did the HVAC work, and was so good to work with... we were experiencing some other electrical issues, and he listened to our concerns and helped us get an appointment asap. The scheduling team worked to get us in as soon as possible for the electrical issues. Daniel and Megan came out and worked hard and swiftly to troubleshoot our issues and repair. They were so good to work with... personable and explained things well. I seriously would recommend Treat's for any HVAC or electrical work. Thank You to entire Team!

The technician was on time and very friendly. He explained each part of the process and after he was done showed how to set up the thermostat more efficiently as well as the process for cleaning the filter system. Treat's is an amazing company. We've used them several times. All of their staff are very kind, helpful and always professional. They have serviced our tankless water heater and our heater/ heat pump. I always know we will be taken care of with Treat's.
Our AC unit that was only 3 years old started freezing up at the coils and was struggling to cool our 3700 sq ft home. If you're in the Seattle area, you know how difficult it is to get an HVAC company to come to your house immediately. Treats was recommended by another company who couldn't accommodate us and was booking 3 weeks out. From booking to the actual appointment, Treats provided exceptional service and exceeded my expectations. The receptionist was knowledgeable and was so friendly. And Johnny, our technician, was incredible. My husband spoke with him at length and he gave us so much great information on how to improve the function and longevity of our unit. From a person who usually dislikes technicians due to a long history of marginal service, my husband raved about how incredible Johnny was. Plus, he fixed the problem so quickly and our unit is now running flawlessly. Would not hesitate to work with Treats again in the future!
High marks on both air conditioning and heating units working with a heat pump and excellent response to service issues.
Our home heating and cooling is served by two heat pumps. The first floor failed after 18 years of service. Treat's replaced the Trane with a more efficient Carrier unit 19 months ago. Last week Treat's replace the upstairs unit with another Carrier unit, again more efficient. What is nice is the new Corr thermostats that can be managed from my smartphone from anywhere.
Treat's upgraded our systems and cost less then their competitors. Also, Treat's did the job in about 5 hrs during the heat wave of August 2017.
Excellent service!! Bought a house and the furnace hadn't been serviced in years. Was very dirty. Was explained fully on its abilities and told it was a work horse. Should keep running with good care and changing filter more often than history showed! Will have to them come yearly for cleaning and maintainace! Was thrilled no one tried to sell me anything unnecessary. Covid protocols strictly followed
On time, very knowledgeable, fixed what I needed fixed. There is a pretty big charge, over a hundred dollars to show up and diagnose the problem. I told them what the problem was when I made the appointment and again when the tech showed up. Sure enough, I was right but still had to pay for the diagnostic fee. The $90 part ended up costing almost $500 with installation which took about 30 minutes. I'll try someone else next time.

Treat's Heating, Cooling & Electrical recently performed monthly servicing on the heat pump systems at both my house and my rental house. After their visit, I noticed that one of the furnace filters was the wrong size for the rental house furnace and that the service technician cut a larger filter to fit into a smaller opening. They returned a few days later to provide me with the correct size replacement furnace filters after I called their office to bring this situation to their attention. Overall, I have enjoyed working with Treats over the years that they have serviced both heat pump systems.

Loved these folks. Always friendly from the person that answers the phone to the young man who came to our house. We had them install a heat pump last year. Great job. Great product. Today we had them come out for annual service. Very personable young man, Nick. Went right to work, explained everything. Efficient and knowledgeable. Recommend them to anyone.
Treat's provided our family some much needed relief from the summer heat. We had Treat's out yesterday to install an A/C unit. Kevin and Michael were great. They were very personable and respectful and their work was clean.
I've already recommended them to neighbors and will use them again in the future.
We were in need of a timely servicing of our HVAC to complete a home sale. Treat's came out within 24 hours! Ben, the technician, was prompt, courteous, thorough and professional (wore shoe covers in house)! Highly recommend them!
Solid company! Lorin and Dan came out and installed a wall heater and a couple of lights for me. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and found a perfect work through for an aesthetic issue that I had. As a real estate agent, I have worked with many electricians. These are now my go-to guys!
They came out 3 times to fix a/c
Didn't get fixed first time so they agreed to reduce the cost of one $91 dollar visit.
Then they added $100 to the estimate for refrigerant that they said wasn't in the estimate.
We just moved into a new house and called Treat's to service our gas furnace. They were able to come out within a few days. The tech was thorough and knowledgeable regarding all of the questions we asked. Easy process and great service. Will definitely use them again. Thank you!

I was very happy with their service. The lady who answered the phone was pleasant and even offered to loan us space heaters when our furnace was out on a cold day. The technician called when he was on his way and arrived within the time window I requested. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me a written repair estimate. Since he had the needed parts on his truck the repair was done in no time. I will definitely call them again with furnace issues.

We had Treat's out to service our heat pump and furnace for the first annual check-up since buying our house. Matt called to give us a heads up that he was less than 10 minutes away from arriving and was very professional to work with. He showed us that the former homeowners had turned off part of the furnace due to a part that was making noise rather than just fix the problem. Then they were forced to put a filter in a place it didn't belong... all making the furnace not run efficiently. He fixed the issue and showed us the proper place to change the filter... and gave us a quick tutorial on how to run the thermostat. All in all it was a most pleasant and easy experience. Matt was prompt, professional and we will definitely have Treat's out again - whether it's for repairs or routine maintenance - we couldn't ask for better. Thank you!
Just like before, except this time was more serious, Treat's tech Billy was exceptional. Everyone I've been in contact with there has been wonderful. A major (to me anyway) part needed to be replaced on our heat pump. Of course it happened during one of our little heat waves, lol. But Treat's took care of us very quickly & everything is now working like a charm. I highly recommend these folks!

Not reliable.
We waited hours for the electrician. They never called to communicate delays. The guy ended up being a no-show. They ended up costing me at least $400 in lost work. I will never call them again. I Do NOT recommend them.
Artisan Premier Electrical was hired by Treat's Heating and AC to do all of the electrical work for our heat pump, furnace and water heater install. The circuit runs, in panel wiring practices as well as terminating at the heat pump sub-panel were very professional.
The quality of work was clearly distinguished from the electricians who wired our gas fireplace inserts during the same week. The fireplace guys tapped into a circuit that was closest and convenient to them which happened to be the busiest circuit in my home. I'm working on scheduling Artisan to come out and re-do the shoddy work performed by that other company.
When we were ready to upgrade several years ago to central air and after receiving estimates we contacted Treat for our new HVAC system. We enjoy the temperature comforts and the Treat service is top level. We look forward to yearly maintenance inspections and the professional Treat technicians.

From the first call to schedule an appointment which was quick & easy. On day of appointment, Billy, Technician, called with an estimated time of arrival. He was courteous & explained the condition of our furnace & AC unit. We appreciate the great service!
Treats Heating did an exceptional job at our rental the furnace went out on Friday and they had a new one installed by Monday GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE by Kevin!!
UPDATE (July 14, 2014): I called them again today after we have paid to have them out twice in the last four months. After spending $400 to have them out twice in four months, you'd think they would come out for a third visit with no charge at least for the service call, especially when the issue they were out for is the same issue as the last visit. I was told over the telephone that the technician's notes did not mention the last visit was for the same reason that I called about today and that it was only for routine maintenance so there would again be a charge for them to come out. Taking my review down to one star now.
ORIGINAL: They were very friendly and were thorough and professional in their work. They even send somebody to our home on the same day we called. However, they were expensive. To add insult to injury, they quoted me a price for air conditioner service over the telephone (which already sounded a little high) and then charged me a higher price when they did the work. Then, they charged tax on top of that. For what? They performed a service with zero parts. What did they charge sales tax on? The worst was when they called me the next day and told me they would pay me for leaving positive reviews of their work online and would pay me based on how many I left.
We have been customers of Treat's for over 20 years. They are reliable, trustworthy and professional. We have their annual service plan which is very reasonable. We recently required a service call which was handled the next day; however, they would have come out the same day if i had been able to meet them. Highly recommend this company! absolutely no complaints!!
This is the 2nd time we have used Treat's, and it's because of the great service we received from them on the 1st occasion. Four words come to mind about Treat's: professional, friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. The service we received from Matt was exceptional! Kristie was also very helpful and friendly. It's very comforting to have a go-to HVAC company who you would not hesitate to call. And they're an Enumclaw company. A Job-Well-Done, and a big Thank You to Treat's!
What ever the price they give you over the phone, just double it, and that should cover the cost. $230 to change a copper flex hose!!!! I guess that's just the way it goes. Probably will try to find someone else next time. Good Luck!!

I worked with treats when my house was in the designing stage. This house was a dream house my wife and I built for ourselves and we were trying to do everything just right. I had treats design a heat pump and air handler system and beings I'm out in the country with no other utilities available except electricity, I wanted to have a Dependable good quality system because I was going to be relying solely on electricity. After 4 years of continuous use, (my house was completed in 2014) I have a monthly electric bill of $120 to $140 a month, and that includes everything, my electric water heater, range, dryer, heating and cooling, water well - everything! I totally recommend these folks for design, install, and repairs. We use treats for our rental properties, and they always make us feel that they care, and get things fixed. I am also a contractor, and have recommended treats to numerous customers over the years, and I everyone has been grateful who has had treats work on their projects. You will be glad you called treats when you do!
Treat's Heating and Cooling recently installed a heat pump for us. They previously had done work for us and we were happy with their service, so after reviewing a few bids from different companies, we decided to go with them again. Installation went as scheduled, with no problems and everything is working great.

We have used Treats for going on 7 years for our heater and heat pump. Yearly maintenance and break downs.We have always gotten great customer service, they are polite and very professional. Dan is always professional and knowledgeable. He comes out and diagnosis what's wrong and fixes it. No overselling, only telling you what is needed to fix your system. We wont' use anyone else. Will keep using them. We highly recommend this company.

Excellent service. All of these guys, both installers and electricians went above and beyond to provide the best service I have ever had. They were all polite, respectful, willing to answer questions, put up with my dog, and left the job site in a clean condition. I would highly recommend them for any of your heating and cooling needs.
We have used Treats multiple times and wouldn't use any other company. The guys are professional and honest. They wont try to sell you something that you dont need. Great customer service !

Their guy came out yesterday and serviced my system. The price was reasonable and he was very professional. It was no muss-no fuss service which I am a big fan of. I actually hired them to come out and do my service next year.
I have been working with Treat's for a couple of years now and have dealt with them both residentially as well as commercially and am very satisfied with their work, professionalism and prices.
They are easy to get in touch with and always fast to respond to our needs!
I feel really bad for the other reviewers! I can only say great things about this company. They have provided us with 3 different services in the past 6 months and not only was the work amazing but the customer service was even better! The servicemen were kind and trustworthy and Justin who did our quotes and answered questions was incredibly accommodating and helpful. When we asked his opinion he didn't just say whatever you want he gave us honest opinions based on his experience in the industry and also what would work best for what we were asking for. These guys are great and I always do my rate comparisons and they are competitive every time. We will not use another company again. They cover our needs when it comes to their expertise!
Had two fireplaces and our furnace serviced today. Our service person, Garrett, was patient and professional throughout the call. He explained what he was doing and made sure we understood the process taking place. One fireplace had a part wearing, but he advised it would be fine probably for a couple of more years and he just wanted us aware of how we would know it had failed when that finally happened. Nothing was pushed at us. Pricing was explained right up front. Garrett was very careful, using a drop cloth, to keep our home clean even removing his shoes as he walked on our wood floors. I highly recommend Garrett and the Treat's Company and will be passing their name on to my neighbors.
We used Treat's Heating and Cooling to have our AC unit installed in our newly built home. The fact that they were willing to come out and install this on a Sunday, since they knew we had an infant at home and it was hot, says enough about this company! They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and fast! They didn't hesitate to answer any questions we had either! Thank you Treat's, you just made us a customer for life! :)

Love these guys, they have one a residential and a commercial project. I have really enjoyed Jonah, his methodical methods of work and his organization are a great relief in this industry. Jonah also has great communication skills and is very through. Definitely recommend this company.
We have been having treat's heating and cooling perform yearly maintained for 25+ years. They installed our original heating equipment as well as our new upgraded equipment. They have always been on time to perform maintance and kept our furnace and air conditioner working perfectly. In the past 25yrs we have had only 1 issue with our furnace working properly, and when we did, they were there to repair it the next morning.
Now, we are looking forward to the next 25yrs.
These guys have done all our electrical work for the last 5+ years. Four different projects - two residential, two commercial. Always on time, always clean and careful, and fair with the pricing. Great understanding of low voltage and energy efficient lighting. Did a great job on our generator transfer switch setup.

My grandpa actually recommended Treats to us when we were getting our furnace replaced. I'd planned on going with another company, but called them out for an estimate as comparison. I was blown away by their customer service, honesty, and thoroughness and told my husband I was sold before I even knew what the bid was. They turned out to be more affordable anyway, and could replace the furnace sooner than the other company I was considering. They showed up on time, got the job done, and I have gotten two follow ups to make sure all is well. I'd definitely recommend Treats to anyone looking for work on their heating system, or a full replacement, which is what we had done. Great company!
They weren't able to get anyone out for about 72 hours but I am sure the demand was high. Our AC went out when we had a bunch of family in town and had just moved into our home. The technician who came out was professional and diagnose the problem and fixed in a timely manner. Only thing was I thought the part was over priced.
Had Treats out to inspect a leak in our AC unit. Technician was very knowledgeable and helpful and was able to fix the unit. I have had them out before for a different issue and was very satisfied then too. Would definitely use again for heating and cooling needs. Would rate 5 stars except for the cost being a little high. I'll admit I don't know enough to know the market price for these services, but 110 dollars just for a diagnostic seems high. Even diagnostics on my car don't cost that much. Still very satisfied with the work they do

came to do annual cleaning on our furnace in September of 2011, and after the service guy left, I smelled gas. He had only been gone 5 minutes, so I called him, and he said oh, it's just residual smell from when I did my work. He wouldn't come back right then and there to check it. I left for work, but cracked all the windows in my house first. Very glad I did. Came home after work and whole house was full of gas smell. Called them, they had to send someone back out, and as it turns out, the guy shut the furnace door on a flex pipe and cracked it.........so gas had been leaking all day. Will NEVER work with this company again.
My furnace went out on Sunday so I called Treat's first thing Monday morning...Jeff from Treat's showed up mid morning and installed a new switch for me. I really appreciated how he went into detail explaining what the problem was as well as answering some other questions that I had.
