Very satisfied with the work done.  Love that the estimate and work was done by same person.  

Had numerous inside and outside outlets repaired and new outlets added.  Quality work, accurate estimate and professional work and clean up.

They are not inexpensive but are competitive.  Given quality work and professional service I feel I received a good value.  I will definitely call them again for future work.

Had 2 minor electrical issues at the house. I messaged Live Wire through Facebook for an appointment. They were scheduling a month out, so I had to wait a bit, but that's to be expected with most professionals.

They arrived slightly later than the scheduled time, but not inconveniently. The two gentlemen introduced themselves, took their shoes off before entering the house, listened to my needs, and got right to work. I suspected the problems were easily remedied, and they were. Not only did they fix them, they showed me what the problem was and how I could solve it in the future. That was really helpful.

The cost was reasonable and I'm very happy with the service. When I need an electrician again (and I'm sure I will!), these will be the folks I call.

Livewire is fantastic! I found them through Yelp and am so glad I did. They were fantastic to work with from scheduling the initial estimate, to scheduling the actual work and to the final product. We love the work they did and they went above and beyond what we asked for. We knew we were happy with them when my husband and I both went around the house trying to find new projects for them to do! They will be our go-to electrical company from now on.

Did not show up for appointment and did not even attempt to reschedule.  Don't know why they took the appointment in the first place. THey canceled a hour before the appointment.  I guess it is better than canceling after making me wait a hour...

I had a sudden electric failure at my house, involving my refrigerator. I'm part of a FaceBook group and a woman posted that her husband has this business and he provides community discount; so I called.

The technician and my boyfriend were working on this together. The The technician walked around with a voltmeter. He tested wires. He wiggled wires occasionally. The technician found what he said was a loose wire in the disposal switch, but tightening it did nothing. He walked into another room and was in his kit (not near any walls or wires) and my boyfriend was in the kitchen when suddenly everything came back on. The technician asked my boyfriend Did you do something? My boyfriend said, No. The technician said he hadn't either.  There was no repair done. He stopped looking for a problem and left.

Brian texted me that the problem was fixed and paid the bill. This past weekend the problem came back, all weekend intermittently. We looked for the problem ourselves and found the short -- hard to miss cuz there was an outlet sparking(!!) in a room nowhere near where the technician had been, but on the same electrical circuit.

I contacted Brian. He said his technician told him that something in the kitchen was the culprit -- I told him that the technician thought my boyfriend had fixed it because he (the technician) hadn't touched anything. Bryan refunding my fee.

I appreciate Brian's honesty. I question his technician's ethics. Because Bryan made it right, I will use them when I need to do a re-wire to made dedicated circuits for a few large electric items.

I bought a light fixture from West Elm and hired a different company to come install it. Once the fixture was up, it didn't work. After 3 hours, the electrician told me it was the light fixture. After returning the fixture, and buying another one, I had the same guy come back out, only to discover that fixture didn't work either. So I called LiveWire and Brian came out. Within 30 min, he found the problem, and fixed it. He also fixed an outlet that wasn't working. He was so professional, so thorough and so knowledgeable. LiveWire will be my go to company for any electrical needs. I can't recommend them enough.

They are the best, but if you have a smaller job, they don't want anything to do with you. I just wish they could say that they were overbooked instead of ignoring me.

Often times we tend to complain right away when things are wrong and don't compliment others when things are right. We had a great experience today with Live Wire. We called a few weeks ago to have some electrical work done. Live Wire was booked out but we scheduled. Brian showed up right on time on the promise day. He has a great Can Do attitude and began the work right away. What I thought would take hours took him 1 hour. He was diligent and courteous. I can't say enough about Live WIres customer service and electrical service skills. Great work for a fair price. Thank you Live Wire.

I contacted Brian at Live Wire for an electrical quote. He came over to our home and looked at what we were needing done.  He sent us a quote two days later for canned lighting moved, a ceiling fan installed and some additional electrical work to handle more power.

We agreed to the quote and decided that we were gonna go ahead and hire him to to do the work.

I sent two messages to set up dates and I never heard back. I decided to send him a text to let him know that this behavior was unprofessional.

He responded to that text saying that he had contacted me with a date for him to do the work and was wating for me?

I  never received anything from him and honestly, I don't believe him. You would have thought that if he did text me and I didn't get it, that he would have been able to send me a screen shot showing the time and date that had sent it.

We had our job on hold for for two weeks waiting to hear back from Brian. Very disappointing. I won't look to hire him again.

In one word: inconsistent.

In more words:
After a problem getting my initial call returned, I was able to book an estimate with Live Wire. I had a list of changes: new thermostats, replacing a spotlight with a can light, and replacing two bathroom fans and their switches (going from fans with heat lamps to fans without lamps, and from three switches in the plate to two). During the estimate, I was told that completely replacing the switch plate would leave a drywall hole, which they couldn't patch, so we agreed to a filler switch to avoid the hole. I wasn't happy about it, but I agreed I didn't want to patch drywall if I didn't have to.

We like the thermostats, and the can light was properly installed. During the visit, the electrician(s) discovered that the circuit for our baseboard heaters was overpowered and let us know this was a fire risk. They recommended fixing it and we had them do that. This was good of them and I'm glad they brought it up. The fan install wasn't really to my liking. They left huge holes in my ceiling -- which I understand was the result of the new fan not fitting like the old one, and I do get that -- but that left me with the burden of finding someone to patch the drywall. So then my question became: why not change out the switches like I had wanted? I already needed to hire someone for the drywall, but they still used the ugly workaround of a blank/dead switch in the three-switch plate. This was disappointing, but I kinda (only kinda!) understood how it happened (different people doing the work than the estimate), so, fine. I can live with it, annoying as it is, and the rest of the work was good so I can forgive that.

We sold the property those changes were made on and moved. In the new house, we needed an electrician to swap out some fixtures and replace some outlets. I was willing enough to use Live Wire again because of the mostly-positive experience (and it's damn hard to get an electrician to call you back these days). I called, and Brian came out for an estimate again. He was very consultative, which was great, and didn't push me to do work that I wasn't sure about.

And that was it.

I never received an estimate, even though I reached back out to try and check in. There was still no response. I get that it's a busy time to be in a construction-y trade, but please do not come out and make me explain everything just to flake after. It's a waste of my time (and theirs, really).

I contacted Live Wire after some recommendations from community members.  I called and Brian answered the phone.  I explained my job that I needed done.  He told me I could email him the photos that I took, which I did.  He said he would look and respond back that night or the next morning at the latest.  I heard nothing.  Over the course of a week I emailed 3 times after my initial email and left a voice mail.  If you do not want the job or you are too busy, take the 30 seconds to respond and say so.  Very unprofessional.  It's now been 19 days since I originally contacted them.  I will be going elsewhere for my work.

I found Brian via recommendations on a local community Facebook post. From the time I contacted him via text to the installation, Brian has been nothing but professional, on time, and very responsive. I had his team install a electric car charger and they also had to do the wiring from the electrical box for the installation. His prices were MUCH better than other companies and he had his team out within a week of me finally letting them know we were good to go. The 2 gentlemen who arrived, were very polite, and quick to get the job done. I couldn't be more happy with their work and will refer Brian and Livewire to others who need any electrical work done. I would highly recommend LiveWire! They are an absolutely fantastic company who does great work! We've used them several times, including wiring an addition on our house, and have always been happy! The owner is professional and very nice!

I see the reviews by some saying they didn't get a call back. I understand the frustration, however, you have to remember that they are human beings. It happens because no one is perfect. We had an addition put on our house, there were times when we had to contact several people to get things like drywall done. It was a bit annoying, but instead of being a jerk about it, we just moved on and found someone else. I see no reason to continue to bad mouth a great company just because you are mad. Dana W. your reviews make me laugh. It makes you look like you have nothing better to do than to troll good people. I don't know you, but it makes you look like an absolutely horrible person and maybe you are, but why keep bad mouthing a company that didn't even do work you? Move on and hire someone else like any normal person would do.

Have to stand by my review of this company. Experienced the same issues that many other reviews have addressed. The company responded to my review with a totally fabricated story. Other people's reviews have said that the customer was blamed for the company's actions. Definitely have to agree with that. Cannot recommend Live Wire Electric.

I had a mess of electrical that was as far from code as you can get. I also required an electrical inspection for other work pending on my house so time was a huge factor. Brian came out 2 days after contacting him.  He quickly got back to me with a quote and said it would take 2 days. I honestly didn't believe him. His crew came out 5 days later and finished the job with time to spare. There were no corners cut and turned about better than I expected. I highly recommend Live Wire.

Called and scheduled an estimate. Guys came out and looked at everything but then asked me to email their boss (who was not there) for an estimate. Boss said he would get back to me in 2 days and i have now followed up with him twice, it's been two weeks and no estimate . waste of time

We just moved in to a house that still had old style in wall heaters...I've never had those before and had no idea how to make sure they were safe and operating correctly. I was referred to this company by another contractor and they were GREAT! Brian knew exactly what we needed, repaired the ones that needed it and then we ended up upgrading all of the thermostats, outlets, switches and vents throughout the house. Everything looks brand new...They did the work quickly and even came back out to address some other questions we had right away. Glad we found out go-to electrician!

I can't speak to the quality of their work. I can only say that I emailed them about a small job, and they never ever got back to me. A month later I called and left a message about the same job. No call back.

This was definitely a small job; but I made it clear that I was willing to pay for whatever the job was worth, including their time. How tough could it be to simply acknowledge my two queries? Separately from this my father and I are renovating his workshop and studio; it's gonna be quite a bit of work, bringing in new power service, wiring up tons of lights, outlets, a couple of 220 outlets to run an industrial table saw, etc. Probably gonna cost a lot of money; which my dad is more than happy to pay (thanks to nice, and completely unexpected inheritance!). But he wanted me to see about my experiences with electricians for my small job; if it went well we'd hire them for his renovation job.

Needless to say it didn't go well.

Many on our neighborhood Facebook group recommended LiveWire Electric so I called after calls to other firms went unanswered.  I thought I hit the jackpot when Brian said the technician could be at my house the same day, and even better, within an hour.  When does that even happen?  I was so pleased with the quick response.  Steven, the technician, was thorough in finding the problem, explaining my options with costs to correct the situation and fixing it. Additionally, the repair truck is well marked, the technician is in a company shirt and he removed his shoes before coming in.  I do not hesitate to confidently recommend LiveWire Electric.

We've hired Brian twice for our electrical work. First to install a ceiling fan in our master bedroom, and this past week to install a new bathroom fan and outlet in the laundry room. We have used Livewireelectric more times than I can count! Their prices are super affordable and always go above and beyond and so an amazing job! Brian has always been great to work with, you will feel like you are friends once he leaves! But seriously, he has saved our house from catching on fire from bad electrical and didn't even charge us crazy holiday rates or emergency ones either!! He has done little work we have needed along with even helping us rewire our kitchen before and after our remodel. Make sure to give them a call! Not sure how anyone can say anything bad... seriously amazing! I refer to everyone!

I've found it to be hard in this day and age to find reliable companies who do good work and stand by their work, but Brian at Live Wire Electric truly is one of the good ones. The quality of the work was top notch and commensurate with the prices charged. During installation, Brian and his workers were professional and easy to work with, and had a great attitude. When there was an issue with one of the recently installed ventilation fans, I texted him and he called me back within minutes. He came out immediately (same day) and made it right without missing a beat, without giving us any runaround, and without trying to pass off any of the cost to us. 10/10 recommend them and will hire them again.

Called and spoke to Brian about a small job (20 minutes to complete the work he said). He said he had availability to come out that following Monday as their office is nearby. So far it's been over a week and still no response from anyone at the company. They don't answer when I call so I've left voice messages and also emails letting them know that I was free all week and to please call or email me back as to when they could be here. Still waiting...

Not much else to say, I made an appointment and Brian never showed up and never called. I called him an hour after he was supposed to be at my house. I have still not heard back. If you cannot show up to bid a job you cannot be trusted to finish an job.

Amazing company and I cannot say enough good things! I highly recommend them for any electrical job you need done . Prompt, efficient, very affordable, super friendly and excellent work! They worked around a 4 yr old running around them and went above and beyond what was expected. Had them install an extra switch and ceiling outlet for install of a ceiling fan and add electrical to our back deck. Even gave my husband 4 extra electrical outlets in the garage near his power tools at no extra charge. Always wonderful having such amazing work done by a small locally owned company.

This company has very poor communication and is very unreliable.  Brian was suppose to come out to my home in Edmonds to give me a quote and did not show up for the appointment.  After waiting for 30-45 minutes I called him, no answer, texted him, no response then he finally called back to let me know he was finishing up a job in Bellevue.  He did not bother to call to say he was running late or could not come.  He just left me waiting... So I got him to commit to coming out the next evening to quote the job.  He provided a quote and said he would send me some dates that he could do the job.  After days and no email, I called and texted him again several times before I got a response.  I confirmed the work with him the night before it was to be done.  My Dad was there to meet him at the scheduled time and once again, no show, no call, no communication. We tried calling him and he wouldn't answer.  Finally after being 45 minutes late he called my Dad back and let him know there was an accident with a detour.  Mind you, he was coming from Lynnwood which is very close!  He did the work and everything seems to be functioning so far but he did not clean up after himself at all.  For days I found bits and pieces of wire and trash on my carpet, hardwood floors, countertops.  I had two pendant fixtures and one ceiling mounted fixture installed that were clear glass. Handprints and fingerprints covered the new fixtures. He didn't bother to wear gloves or clean them off after installation so I had to get a ladder just to be able to reach them and take them down to clean them.  It's very clear that Brian does not care about his work or company as he is a terrible communicator, unreliable and does not leave the job site cleaned up.  I would not use him again and would not recommend others to. Don't bother contacting him as you will probably never hear back.
