Honesty Electrical Services

These guys are now my go-to guys for any electrical work. They fixed some switches in my house, and also lighting in my laundry room and garage. They even fixed my air-conditioning unit! This last part impressed me. They quickly realized the problem wasn't the power to the unit, but actually due to a clipped wire inside the unit -- they took it apart, fixed the wire, and restored A/C to my house... something the previous guys I had called (AC specialists) weren't about to find/fix.

I trust them. They give their prices up front. They are courteous and fast. I will definitely call them if I need an electrician. They live up to their name!

It's pretty rare finding good contractors that are affordable. Greg has been a great help with troubleshooting our issue along with helping upgrade our existing lines.

I am not sure what was going on the day they came but it seemed like one of the guys didn't communicate with the other guy. We had to explain everything that needed to be done again, which isn't a big deal. The big deal happened when the owner came late, was acting super weird, not present, on his phone, smelled like vomit, etc. Due to all this his co-worker had to pretty much do everything. The co-worker was rushing because he had been working for quite a long time that day (I am guessing). At one point one of them had to run to Home Depot or Lowes to get a universal fan controller (which they charged $100 when it was $39.99 at the store; they were having a hard time with the fan I purchased). They also had to guy some equipment (auto on light) but they we not in stock so we only did one of the lights we wanted. Prior to their being over my husband said he wanted a certain dimmer that they didn't have available so they used ones I bought (and was going to take back).

Before all of this, the owner scheduled himself on a Monday holiday and just told us a few days before he had to reschedule because of that. He also gave a window for time they'd be there but didn't get there until the very end of the window (again, having to rush through).

This company was highly recommended but we will definitely not be using them again due to the unprofessional demeanor we witnessed.

Greg was very responsive and easy to work with.  We had a deadline with a new deck project and he jumped in to fix our outdoor electricity right away.  He even came out on Memorial day to finish up.  We are happy with the work and will definitely be calling Greg again for the next project.

We had a ceiling fan installed in our master bedroom by Ben from Honesty Electrical.
He did a wonderful job!  He was organized and took pride in the final outcome.  He helped me make decisions based on aesthetics and function.
We will use Honesty Electrical Services in the future.

I had an issue with the wiring in my new house.  We had purchased a new Keurig Duo that we had plugged into a 20 amp circuit.  The Kuerig kept tripping the GFCI breaker in our box even though there was nothing else on that circuit.  I contacted Greg with Honesty Electrical Services and explained my problem.  He was not able to help in person due to the Covid-19 pandemic but he took the time to lead me to the solution on my own.  The fact that he took the time to walk me through the problem speaks to his character.  He wants to help and even if he can't in person.
He will do anything he can to resolve the issue.  I will be contacting them for all my electrical needs from here on out.  So glad I was able find Honesty Electrical Services and I encourage all of you to do the same.

I needed help hiding an exposed electrical conduit that was a huge eyesore.  While every other company immediately quoted me for the cost of replacing the entire electrical circuit, Greg suggested a simple solution for burying the existing line into the wall, at a fraction of the cost other companies were quoting.  Greg and his colleague James completed the work quickly and professionally; they were in and it in just around an hour!

This is my first experience working with Honesty Electrical and they have lived up to their name; they will be the first company I will call if I need an electrician in the future.

I am not impressed with Honesty Electrical. This is the THIRD day I have waited for a technician to show up. Nobody seems to be interested in showing up. Someone was supposed to show up between 11am and 3pm. Nobody ever showed up or even bothered to call! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I HIGHLY recommend calling someone else. Don't waste your time with these idiots. I would give zero stars if it was possible.

Gregory is a saint. I decided to attempt to replace some switches in my bathroom after work one night. After hours of not being successful, I frantically searched for a 24hr electrician (9ish pm). Not having bathroom lights/fan in your only bathroom is a scary thought. Anyways, Greg did not hesitate to come out & promptly arrived an hour later. Unfortunately our wiring was a HUGE can of worms. But he made the light work for us to hold us over until the next day. The next day he kept in touch & showed up ready to tackle what needed to be done. He informed us of everything he was doing to ensure our electrical would be safe & what may need to be done in the future. As a contractor myself, it was nice to work with someone who was honest, talented, & took his work very seriously. Thanks again Greg & we will be in touch soon about some future work!

Greg's work is excellent; he's helped me three times and is definitely my go-to guy for anything electrical. This last time he came out, he stapled up some lose wires that my home builder left hanging, what a good guy! He's very knowledgeable and meticulous. I wouldn't ask anyone else to work on my house.

Just had Greg and Philip our to take a look at our outlets that were starting to get warm and wear out. We found them to be professional and knowledgeable. I felt their pricing was fair and they provided an appropriate amount of value. I will definitely have them back out in the future to service our home.

I hired Honesty to replace a chandelier. They are easy to communicate with, show up on time, and quickly do the work. I would definitely recommend Honesty!

Greg has done two jobs for us and always has taken care to do the job right and left the work space clean. He is reasonably priced and has a good grasp of what it takes to make it all work. Highly recommended!

Great service - responded immediately and was able to do the job at a fair rate within our timeframe.

We had Greg out to install a light in our bedroom, and a couple of lights in a new walk-in closet. He was great and had all the work done in about 3 hours. On his way out the door I asked him about replacing the light in the entry. As soon as I buy the light we'll have him back out to install it.

We had Greg install a Tesla charger for us in the garage.  His price was very reasonable, he was on time and finished the job quickly and well.  Everything from the permit application through the inspection went great and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again!
