We've had Strands Electric out a few times and Daniel has always been reliable and communicative. They rewired our garage for us, and replaced our old electrical panel which was being pushed to the limit, with a much more modern solution that works well with generators. They managed all coordination with PSE and electrical inspection which made the process very smooth. Would definitely use them again.

I just had great experience working with Daniel and Moses to wire and install an outdoor outlet for our new AC unit. Because the cost was likely to be high, I emailed Daniel to ask for the range of the cost. He then offered to come to my house to give me a free estimate.
If you have ever called any electricians, you should know most electricians bill based on trip charge (basic fee) plus labor time and material. Even they do nothing, they still charge for just showing up at the door. I was very happy that Daniel was willing to come out to give me a free estimate. This just makes him distinguishable from other electricians.
He gave me a very detailed estimate. The price was reasonable, so I accepted it. Later I told him that I might need to replace an indoor outlet as it's loose. He offered to do it for free! What a wonderful customer service!
Moses was the one who actually showed up to do the work. He's very polite and friendly. He explained to me his work. He was very patient with me when I didn't understand his explanation. He was great to work with. He also cleaned up after his work. His work showed a very good quality.
I would highly recommend Strands Electric. Of course, whenever I need someone to do some electrical work, I will call Strands Electric.
I highly recommend Daniel for his customer focus. Of the half dozen businesses I contacted late in the evening, he was the first to respond.
Daniel was busy and unable to come in to take care of an outage on a number of outlets. He suggested it may be a simple fix and asked me to try a few tips over the phone, which worked. He also gave me ideas on how to fix a programmable light switch which I was able to do on my own. Daniel saved me $$ and got me up and running. Thank you!!
Had another fantastic experience working with Daniel and Moses on adding NEMA 14-50 and 20A outlets to our garage and installing a new video doorbell. We had to wait a bit due to COVID delays but super pleased with the result. Already planning the next few projects for Daniel to knock out.
Daniel is solid to work with. Friendly, patient and helpful. Good enough to return to him several times.
While one should expect this level of service, much of the time it is not the case so working with Strands is refreshing in that way.
In addition to having Daniel upgrade our home electrical panel, we've hired him for several smaller jobs. I don't know that I would have sought him out so quickly if it wasn't for how patient and informative he is while explaining the benefits of his service.
Solid, solid product that offers great value and a pleasant experience.
Daniel and Moses are great! Ordered some outdoor lights from Wayfair I wanted installed on the front of our house. Daniel gave me a spot on estimate. The job was done within two hours on a Monday morning, lights look and work well. Moses cleaned up afterward and was very professional. Would definitely use Strands electric again!

I had Strands Electric out to run some Cat6A cable in a house that I bought. I had them cut in a low volt panel, and run the cable. They did excellent work. Communication was excellent, the price was good, and the work was top notch.

Did quite a bit of research to find an electrician. Decided on Strands. I picked them because their quote was thorough and it sounded like they really listened to what we wanted, and from looking at their pictures it seemed as though they had a commitment to quality (pictures of neatly cabled breaker boxes, etc).
They recently completed the work at our house (both inside & outside jobs). Quality and a high level of customer service and professionalism was delivered. All at a fair price (and stayed as quoted).Thanks Strands!
Fantastic service, and they have solid attention to detail to make sure jobs are done right. I needed a new low voltage wire, and they installed it very discreetly so it blends with the existing decor. They also did a great job mapping out all my electrical work so I could label the breakers properly.

Working with Daniel from Strands Electric has been great. He not only gets the job done efficiently and well, but also takes the trouble to explain the work so that you're in the know about your home.
He came by to install several timer lights, and carefully walked us through their functionality and setting them up.
We had an issue with a flickering light after he came by, and Daniel was great in returning to investigate the problem. Turns out it wasn't even a result of his work; but he still refused to take payment for the follow-up visit. Again, he meticulously explained to us what the problem might be, and suggested how we might be able to fix it.
Overall this a service that I would certainly recommend, and Strands Electric will be our go-to people for future electrical work on our home.
I had Daniel and team help me out with some electrical in my kitchen. They did a great job, I'm very happy with the work. I was perhaps more impressed with Daniel's customer service though. At one point I had forgotten to follow up with Daniel about something and he politely followed up with me. I've never had someone working in my house do that, they typically also forget or just move onto other work. It was a really nice experience working with Strands.

I asked Daniel for an estimate because I was impressed by the quality of work he demonstrated in the before/after pictures. Got a timely response from him and his pricing is very reasonable. Didn't get the chance to work with him this time due to holiday season timing and scheduling constrains but hopefully will get a chance to work with him on another project in the future.

Daniel and Moses were really great to work with on our projects. We had a number of outdoor lights to be installed, and we had some other small items on our list to get done. Daniel was great in getting our work scheduled and communicating with us, and Moses worked very quickly and professionally to complete the work. Strands' prices were great, and we plan to use them again in the future. We highly recommend them, and they will be our go-to electricians in the future.
Daniel and Moses were great. We had a pretty simple install of an interlock switch and outside outlet for a generator. They showed up on time, finished the job with minimal power interruption, and took less time than they quoted. The install looks great and they took time to walk us through how everything functioned. I will definitely have them back for our next electrical need.

They deserve every five star review that's come before mine.
It is so rare to find a good professionals these days (and I am particular about these sorts of thing). That is why I was so close to distraught when our electrician for the last 11 years closed their practice.
I was referred to Strands Electric (Daniel) for a project to reconfigure our electric panel and draw all the wires to install air conditioning this Spring (2018).
Strands Electric is everything you'd want in a contractor and more: impeccable communication, clear expectations, high-quality work, and so thoughtful that it's simply a joy to work with them.
Exceptional! Will call on them every time.
Well it was so good to get our last light fixture up but we needed help on this one since it was on the second floor of our new foyer. They came on time and added so much benefit by being careful of our house, changing the length of the chain by 6 inches, painting a bit around the new fixture, and messing with the light bulbs, new LEDs until they dimmed with perfection. Heaven~~~ we had two other quotes that were more involved with scaffolding and cost cost cost. They came and did it and in good time to since I work out of the house and had a seminar to do.
I have used Danny on two more occasions since my last review. He has been consistent in providing excellent service.
It is rare to find a contractor such as him to consistently over a long period of time provide such consistent EXCELLENT service.
What impresses me is that he always explains why something needs to be done in addition to what needs to be done. His approach gives me confidence to go with his recommendation.

The power went out on one side of my house. Danny came out and quickly found the cause of the power outage. In just a few minutes the power was back on and working like normaI. I can't wait to schedule another appointment to have a heater installed. He was very professional, took time to explain things, and wore booties on his shoes.
Strands prices are very reasonable and customer service was excellent. I recommend this company for your electrical needs.
These guys were great! Dany and Moses showed up on time, produced professional results, and even wore booties in the house though they didn't need to. Price was on par with the other estimates I got. I'm very excited about my new service and my big ol' 50 amp circuit for my welder!
We had Daniel change our foyer and dining room chandeliers as well as take out and cover a can light we don't use. Very thorough and professional. This is the second time that he helped us out and won't be the last. Daniel was excellent! He was prompt on responding to my requests. Once at my home, he was thorough in his explanations and helped get everything done that I asked in a timely manner. He will be who I go to whenever I need electrical work done!

Strands Electric did a great job repairing a bunch of things broken in my house. They repaired a broken outlet, replaced all smoke detectors, a broken bathroom fan, and a ceiling fan. I was very happy with their service.
Had a great experience with Dany. His expertise, professionalism, and speed were impressive. I've worked with several contractors in the past, but no electricians. The experience Dany delivered was better than all others. He was highly respectful of my home (he wore those booties whenever inside - and never asked if he needed to) and always provided good ideas and solutions to my problems.
I had him running the full day doing all the electrical work that's been stacking up at my house over the years.
* Running a new line through the attic to power in-floor heating for the upstairs bathrooms (test & setup)
* Split the line and run to the master bathroom (in anticipation of when I can get around to installing that heated floor)
* Got rid of ghost switches in three rooms and plumbed new lines and installed new fixtures in each room.
* Installed under-cabinet LED lighting and connected all the lines to run off a single switch (lines were connected over the sink, through the ceiling).
I'm installing a whole house fan next... once I've got the box installed, I'll have him back to setup the wiring!
He knows his trade well - if you want to know a good electrician, look no further.

I needed help fixing some electrical outlets that stopped functioning, as well as installing a ceiling fan on 18ft high ceiling. These guys were FANTASTIC! They are very reasonably priced compared to other bids I received, and the final cost was well within the estimate provided. Moses who performed the work was super professional and quick. Just simply outstanding! I am glad to have found these guys and I will surely be using them again when needed, and refer all my friends there.

While trimming the hedges, we accidentally snipped the wire to the trimmer. This oddly caused all the cable TVs to stop working, but leave the Internet and IP phone working. None of the circuit breaker was tripped. I thought we fried some of the components. Danny explained over the phone that, on older homes, it is not always obvious. He suggested to try reset the GFIC and switches in the fuse box even though they are all in the on position.
That did the trick. Save me $ for having cable company and electrician coming out to the house. Danny provided very helpful simple tips so I can help myself instead of trying to take advantage of the situation. He earned my trust.
We have used Dany a couple times now and have not been disappointed.
Excellent workmanship, competitive pricing and very honest. Also, keeps the work area very tidy and cleans up after himself.
I highly recommend Strands Electric.

Their website says that they have 24/7 service but that is not true. I had an issue on Saturday evening, I called them, no answer so left a message. Tried calling them few more times but never heard back from them.

The first time I called Dany, it was to solve a complex phone line problem in my detached office - one that had made Century Link toss up their hands and walk away. He figured it out, cheerfully and quickly - he was literally jogging between my office and the basement of my house as he worked. Months later he installed under-cabinet lighting in my kitchen. He was great about emailing questions, suggestions and photos beforehand, provided a clear and reasonable estimate, and did a neat job. When it turned out one of the two LED strips was unusually intense, he documented it and picked up new strips to make sure we got the right light level, promptly and free of charge. He's a pleasure to work with.
