Dave is Seriously the BEST electrician out there!!

He's honest, ethical AND works his tail off when he's in your home. He wastes no time getting to work, nor does he waste time chit-chatting while he works. Coming from a large family of Italians from the South, I cannot help but be awe inspired by David's stupendous work ethic.

On top of it all, he doesn't take your wallet to the cleaners while serving you in your electrical needs.

My husband and I did a full remodel of the entire downstairs by ourselves. We didn't have extra money to be paying all sorts of people to do work that we were capable of doing ourselves.

Obviously we knew nothing about electrical work and needed to call in a professional. Dave is now our electrician until he retires. I will gladly give him my hard earned money because he works just as hard for it that I do.

Dave required the entire downstairs and wired our newly built island.

Dave has done a few small jobs for me over the years. He's usually a couple weeks or more out because he's pretty busy. This last job was more than he had anticipated in terms of time and labor but as usual, he worked hard and got it done in good time. Dave is a professional, he's polite and he charges a fair price for the detailed work that he does.

Dave did a fantastic job with our electrical work last year. He updated our electrical service from 100 AMPs to 200 AMPs, and put in tons of new outlets into our basement as well as a new electric car charging outlet. Great communication, a hard worker, and flexible. I'm so glad we found Dave.

Dave is the very best man for the Job! He installed a killer new electric panel in my 1947 North Seattle home and hooked up my new swim spa. In the process everything about my electric panel and connection had to move. Dave followed the latest code from the city of Seattle and modernized my whole situation. He also uncovered some faulty wiring from the past and remedied the situation. I hired him again to wire up a carport remodel and with the new code from City of Seattle we were already ready to put in a new electric car plug. Thats not just great work but great forethought. Along the way my furnace broke down and the HVAC company blamed me. Dave checked it out and we found out they had used the 1947 thermostat wire to hook up a $20K Lennox high efficiency furnace. With his backing I was able to pin it on the furnace company for making the wrong connection in the first place and they fixed it for free. I just can't say enough good things about Dave and his work. He's a busy man but every step of the way he finished his part of the work before it blocked any of my other contractors. You'd be lucky to work with him on your next project!

Dave was awesome. He completely rewired our 1940 bungalow home and did so with minimal impact to our plaster walls. He was efficient and timely, and took care of everything for us (including coordinating with the city).

He was open to all of our requests and provide appropriate pushback where necessary.

Dave was a complete professional.  We had a large project (move/upgrade service, complete rewire) and he worked with us to find creative solutions to minimize wall damage and to place conduits and wires in places that improved aesthetics and prepared us for future remodels.  He was honest and gave a fair price.

David is very knowledgeable and professional with his work. He was on time, efficient and fair priced. He installed two bedside wall lights and a flood light for us in just 3.5 hours. Highly recommended, I finally found my go to electrician!

Dave is the best! He has done two projects for me so far. The first was an entire house re-wire, and the other was an electrical panel and service upgrade. His pricing is straight forward, fair and reasonable. He clearly explains the options available, and helps you decide what best fits your needs and budget. He shows up on time, works hard and gets the job done on time. I'm glad I won't need to look anywhere else for any of my future electrical needs.

I would give him 10 stars if I could. We had two light switches that would randomly turn on and the next time not. I also has an outlet catch fire which caused a few other outlets not to work...it was really frustrating.

Every time I called he picked right up or got right back to me. I even called him numerous times,  late at night and he was still very polite and extremely helpful. He gave me lots of pointers to try and help me fix the problem. Ultimately I was not able to do myself. He set a time and came out to the house. He fix the problem in a very sort amount of time. Everything is working great! So glad I called him! Highly recommended!

David is a true professional. He gave us a call about 30 minutes before arrival, quickly assessed the problem, and repaired it in a timely manner. Definitely knows what he's doing and is honest in his work.

Needed EV outlet installed.  We contacted 3 electricians for an estimate.  Dave was on time, courteous and pleasant.  His suggestion and estimate for the work was exactly what we were looking for.  On the installation day, he was on time and got right to work.  He did such an excellent job, we will definitely contact Dave for any future electrical work.

My wife and I bought a house and it had some lighting and electrical issues.  David fixed/moved some electrical outlets, installed can lights in 3 rooms which has made a huge difference, and the big job:  swapping the circuit breaker from the exterior of the house to the interior.  He was quick, professional, and best of all reliable.  Mountlake Electric cares not only about the job but also the customer.

Came and wired an external outlet for me. Was fast did a great job and charged a decent price! Will be having him do more work! Love that he is local and a family owned company.

Dear Yelp, If I were you I'd delete the 1 star review, it's useless.  someone from Toronto Canada?  Seriously?   Sounds fishy to me...

I found Dave through a referral of the Nextdoor Northgate/Maple Leaf community blog and I love the work Dave does,  he actually responds and is thorough in his explanations.  I'm very happy to have found him.

David answered very quickly and as I described my problem he gave me pointers on how I could troubleshoot myself. I sent a barrage of questions over to him and he was quick to answer each one. In the end I was able to get everything installed and working properly without needing him to come out. I really appreciated him taking the time to answer my questions. Out of the five or so electricians I called he also had the best rates so I will definitely be reaching out to Mountlake Electric in the future for any issues I may have.

David was always taking thing apart to see how they work when he was growing up. He became a very caring and responsible person. I should know, I'm his Dad.
I highly recommend him.

Dave installed 10 light switches for us. He was on-time, professional and did a quality job. He got the job done quickly and without mess. Highly recommend Dave to anyone needed an electrician. We will be calling him back.

Dave was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive and receptive to what I was trying to do. He installed 2 CAT 6 runs, a Ceiling fan, and several outlets and switches for some new construction that we had been working on. He helped me tremendously bring my new office to life and resolved several issues from our house inspection as well.

Dave is an angel from heaven.  Thanksgiving weekend my programmable thermostat died and in the process of wiring a new one, I blew the circuit to my entire condo and freaked out a bit.  I was able to get the power back on, but was then unsure how to finish wiring the new thermostat and kind of scared of it.

I looked up some electricians close to my place in North Lynnwood and most ignored my emails asking for them to stop by and help me.  One said he could come out on December 8 and it was $300.  Then Dave called me back at 9:30p that night.  He said he was in Lynnwood at the Bowling Alley and could swing by in about 20 minutes.  I couldn't believe it!  He came in, re-wired everything but the new thermostat wouldn't communicate with my heaters.  He left around 10:30p, completely confused.  Around 11p he texted me saying he thought in blowing the panel box, I may have blown the thermostat's computer.  The next day I went back to Home Depot to exchange the thermostat.  When I came home Dave had already called me to check how I was doing and asked if I needed him to come back.  Luckily, the new thermostat worked and he didn't have to make another trip up north to my place.  Oh!  And for all of this, he charged me a lot less than $300.

I couldn't recommend Dave enough.  He is highly knowledgeable, efficient and customer-focused.  Bless you!

We used Dave to replace at least 2/3 of our home's electrical that was still knob and tube. He worked hard, was extremely honest, and kept us thoroughly up-to-date on what he was doing and where he was at with the timeline.  We are already calling him back to to a bit of additional work.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician.

David came out to my house in late September to quote various electrical projects.  He said he would follow up within a week yet it took me various phone calls to reach him after 3 weeks.  We made an appointment for a Friday, then on that day he texted saying he didn't feel well and rescheduled for after Thanksgiving.  That day came and he never showed.  I don't get it.  Seemed like a nice guy but definitely flakey.

Dave & is fantastic. Nice guy, great service, & very reasonable prices. We'll be using MLT Electric for all of our future electrical needs.

I had an issue with some wiring in a light fixture and called Mountlake Electric to see if they'd be able to help.  Dave showed up exactly when he said he would and was able to get the fixture repaired in record time.  He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and even though it was a relatively small job this time, I'll definitely be using him for more intensive electrical work in the future!

Contacted Mountlake Electric to relocate an my heating thermostat. Dave quoted me a fair price and was able to come out the next day to relocate my thermostat. He was able to get the job done in 1 hour rather than the 1 hour half that was originally quoted. A few months later I installed a new thermostat but I couldn't get it to work, so I contacted Dave to help troubleshoot the issue and he was able to fix the thermostat without a problem. Very knowledgeable and professional electrician, hope to use his services for any future electrical projects.
