I emailed about 7am.  Received an email from Steve by 8. We set an appointment for 1-3 pm.  Then Oreo called, he could come right then if that worked for us.  It did and he arrived approximately half hour later. Oreo was wonderful.  He checked the panel and a few of the outlets.  Changed what needed replacing.  He was quick, knowledgeable and competent.  He suggested what to look for.  The price was very reasonable.  We will definitely use Wilderness Electric again when needed.

It took a while to get Steve and Oreo out to my house only because their demand is so high, and now that they have completed their work (for now), I can see why. They were professional, friendly, competent, humorous, and handled this first-time homebuyer's questions with all of the above plus more. I couldn't be more grateful.

Great local electrician outfit - no job is too small or large. These guys are the first on my list when anything goes wrong between me and electrons. I'm a 5x return customer and can't say enough good about them.

Legit. I hired them when my home builder electricians at MCE couldn't figure out what a burning smell was. They came and figured it out in 30 minutes while the geniuses at MCE couldn't figure it out in 3 bloody visits.

I'll be calling them for all my future work. If you're a quadrant owner, don't trust MCE. Hire them.

Super fast communication to make an appt and the technician hey sent was amazing! He was friendly and charged me a price that was very reasonable.

Oreo did a great job on adding another outlet to our bathroom. He was prompt, professional, and took the time to answer all my questions about the bathroom addition and some other electrical questions I had about our house - the guy really knows his stuff!

Kellie was super helpful in answering my questions when I was getting estimates and was able to get me quickly scheduled. I will be going back to Wilderness first when I need an electrician again. Quickest bid to finished job I have experienced to date.

My AC panel was old and needed replacement.  The lights in a few rooms stopped working and my garage was without power.  Wilderness asked for a photo of the panel, listened to what I needed, then provided a quote the next day.  Steve coordinated everything with PSE and the electrical inspector.  Total pro. Set up, removal, replacement, inspection, power back on.  Steve described how the lights and plugs that were not working was a single circuit, and found that an old GFI outlet had failed.  Removing that outlet from the circuit got all the other lights and outlets working again.  Pleasure to work with Wilderness Electric.

We called and wasn't sure with this whole stay at home order if anyone would come out.  Steve came out right on time and immediately looked into what our problem was.  One of our breakers were not working but actually it was because of an outlet had a loose connection because of myself misusing the outlet and so he took the time to explain to me the reason and how to avoid it.  In and out less than an hour and very reasonable. Actually one of the most reasonable than others I called.  Would definitely call Steve for future jobs.  Thanks Steve!!!

My house had a long list of electrical issues.  In one hour Oreo fixed them all!  He seems to have a magic touch -- lights and outlets that I had spent a lot of time troubleshooting, he got working again in no time.

Note that I live in a manufactured home, and an older one at that.  Other electricians whom I had contacted first would not even come out for a quote because of this!  But with only one day's notice, Oreo came out and did the work, in one shot, with no need for a quote and no reservations due to it being an old manufactured home.

These people are five plus stars. I called and they were booking out to March. I wasn't sure we could wait. She called the foreman and got me in that day. Fixed the problem and it was very reasonable. I will use them again for sure.

Worked with Wilderness to install an outdoor connect for our generator.  Steve was great to work with throughout the process and the work was completed on time and without issue.  Looking forward to continuing to work with them in the future.

I had a 20A breaker go bad in my electrical panel, and I couldn't change it.  So, I called around late in the afternoon to various electricians, and Wilderness Electric was able to come out the next morning!  The technician was great and very knowledgeable.  He had electricity restored within minutes.  There is a flat hourly fee for service, with a minimum of 1 hour charge for the service call and initial hour of work, $105 per hour if I recall.  All in, it was about $150 for the part, the 1 hour charge, and tax.  I will be happy to use Wilderness Electric again for future electrical needs and recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work!

Wilderness Electric Inc came out to my house to determine why my washer and several outlets in my laundry room quit working.  They called to let me know they were on their way and they arrived on time.  Service was professional and friendly. Issue was identified and repaired.  I loved the fact that they explained the issue and resolved it quickly.  Also appreciated that they took the time to help me better understand the demands placed on the electrical system when using extension cords and power strips.  I will be using Wilderness Electric for all my future electrical needs.

So satisfied with the service.  He was in and out in less then 30 minutes.  He fixed the problem and at a respectable price.    I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.  And will definitely call back again with any future electrical issues.  Thanks.

I had an excellent experience with these guys. I had a minor problem (light fixture flickering) that I tried to repair myself, but it still didn't work properly, so I called them yesterday and they had Oreo come out first thing this morning (super fast). Oreo quickly solved the problem quickly in a very kind way, giving me tips on the how and why, to solve it next time. He was professional, fast, and very personable. The cost was very reasonable also. Highly recommend these guys!

I called them requesting a quote for three small electrical projects at my home...they never returned my phone call.

The day before Thanksgiving, Oreo came out to replace the faulty sodium halide light I bought from Home Depot (I should have read the lousy reviews on it) with an LED light.  On time, fast, friendly, great service.

Fantastic!!  Where to begin?  Going through a remodel of our 1986 Lake Wilderness home has proved to be stressful, dealing with contractors, scheduling, and living in the home simultaneously is crazy, but Rick (the owner), came out (on time) for his tour to go over the work we needed (which I'll explain later), gave me a competitive estimate, but more importantly, knew what I needed/wanted before I even did.  I didn't have to over explain if that makes sense?  
Enter Steve and Oreo.  These two guys have been working together for awhile, and it shows!  Steve walked the house with me a few nights before starting the work, he took good notes, he (like Rick), understood what we were going for and displayed a level of confidence that I just felt like I could trust.  I wasn't disappointed.  He and Oreo showed up at 8am everyday they worked to get the job done.  They communicated well with me while I was at work, they worked well with the other contractors in the house, and more importantly, did AMAZING work!  
Now, here's a brief description of some of the things they did:  We had 17 can lights installed throughout the house, all new switches and outlets throughout.  A few added switches also.  Installed 8 new lighting fixtures, wired our TVs in 3 locations (for hidden wire capability), removed old electrical wall heaters that were suppose to have been disconnected (but weren't all), and inspected them to be sure they weren't active anymore.  They were in the attic, in the crawl space, and everywhere in between knocking out their work like they knew what they were doing!  Our house is now safer, well lit, updated, and ready to be lived in right!  
Was it expensive?  Yes, relatively, but we wanted to do it right the first time, and not piece-mail it over many years, and boy we were not let down!  
I am definitely having them back for outdoor jobs in the future, or any other electrical needs we may have.  Professional, courteous, humorous, knowledgeable, and fast!  Go with Wilderness, you will not be disappointed!

Had them install boxes for ceiling fans in three bedrooms and an extra light in our master bathroom. Oreo did a great job. Work was performed professionally and quickly. After they were done I went to vacuum and found one of the outlets they had worked near wasn't working. I called and left a message. Oreo returned my call quickly and returned later that afternoon and had it corrected within 10 minutes. Also while he was in our attic he noticed the drain pan under our furnace was almost overflowing. He alerted me right away. I called the company (Evergreen) who installed our heat pump less than a year ago and am dealing with them as we speak to get their work corrected under warranty. Had Oreo not alerted us to their mistake we would have had a major water damage issue on our hands. Not only did he do a great job on our electrical but he saved us a huge headache with a completely unrelated issue.

Rick at Wilderness did the bid for us and was very professional and friendly. They had the best price and by far exceeded our expectations!

Great experience!!!! Oreo came out, diagnosed the issue and found the loose wires in the junction box in the wall.  I was told by a different local electrician that I would need a re-wire of my kitchen.  Oreo took the time to actually figure out what the issue was and corrected it!  He was there about 1.5 hours and it came to about $200.  I appreciate that Oreo had great attention to detail and put in the extra effort to figure out what the issue was.  I will use them again for future electrical needs!! We needed a new electric service panel in our home in Maple Hills as well as the capability to use a generator to run the lights, heat, TV, tankless water heater, etc. during power outages. Steve from Wilderness Electric, a 30+ year electrician, did a fantastic, professional job. He answered all my basic questions in layman' terms as I have no experience in electrical matters. Furthermore, their price was very competitive. I highly recommend Wilderness Electric.

I've been doing a kitchen remodel and electical work was the one thing I needed to hire someone for.  I needed new overhead lighting, some additional outlets, a solution for a dark pantry and wiring for a new vent hood.  I called three or four places that resulted in being stood up for appointments or never receiving a bid after the appointment and several calls.  Then I talked to Rick at Wilderness Electric.  He was on time to the appointment and provided me with a bid the next day.

Steve did the work on my house, and he was great.  He got the work started and inspected.  Then I needed to complete some projects in order for him to finish the work.  It took me longer than expected, but once I was ready he came out again to finish everything up.  

He really took the time to make sure the lighting was both efficient and looked great.  These guys know what they're doing and make sure it's done right!

After reading the great postings about this company. My husband and I chose them to do a simple project in our front entry. I made the appt a week in advance. I was told that an electrician would come to my home between 9am and 12pm. By 12:20 pm I had received no phone call stating their tardiness. I had to call the company and ask what was going on. With no apology or reasoning the receptionist stated she'd call the electrician  and get back to me. She never called back. However, I did receive a call from the electrician, Oreo, at 12:45 stating he could be there between 2 and 2:30, showed up at 2:50. Again no reasoning for the delay. During the installation of a new entry light fixture the electrician chose to cut down the length of the screws without fitting them first. It took him about 15 minutes to install new screws into the light fixture. With all of this said my bill was not reduced due to their tardiness or due to the fact that the electrician made a bad call about the screw length for the light fixture and the additional time.  Any future electrical work we need we will be finding help elsewhere.

Just had Steve from Wilderness Electric here twice today.  He was great.  I was the first appointment of the day and he was exactly on time.  I showed him what I needed done.  One, the main chandelier in entryway.  He got everything arranged to install and when he removed the chandelier from the box, a necessary piece was missing.  He was very accommodating as he got the project as far as he could, went to the next appointment (as he had to meet an inspector) and returned to finish my project as I went to the store to pick up the necessary part.

Yes, there were two trip charges, but the company I purchased the fixture from needed to take care of one of the trip charges.  He was very courteous and very efficient.  Steve, apparently, has worked for Wilderness Electric for 26 years.  

I would highly recommend this company as they were efficient and professional.

We had Steve with Wilderness Electric work on our HOA pond fountain electrical system after another electrician had pretty much mad a hash of it. He was always on time and coordinated with the other companies on the job so his part was always ready when needed. The new fountain and panel are in and the electrical work if superb. This was a 7 1/2 HP, 440 Volt pump so some pretty heavy duty stuff. Thanks!
