I can't overstate how impressed I am with Paul (owner) and his work.  I have elderly parents who needed 2 kitchen ballasts replaced.  All contractors that I contacted were booked and couldn't do it.  Paul made an effort to squeeze them in and showed up the next day.  He was there when he said he would be, was great to work with, and did a great job.  And the best thing is he made my parents very happy.  Oh..and he was reasonably priced.  A big double thumbs up!

Great service! Knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. We have a total of 6 people 24/7 home working because of the pandemic. Our internet/wifi is amazing now. No complaints from our 4 teenagers. This company is 100% worth the cost!!!!

I found Dave through a referral of the Nextdoor Northgate/Maple Leaf community blog and I love the work Dave does,  he actually responds and is thorough in his explanations.  I'm very happy to have found him.

Greg's work is excellent; he's helped me three times and is definitely my go-to guy for anything electrical. This last time he came out, he stapled up some lose wires that my home builder left hanging, what a good guy! He's very knowledgeable and meticulous. I wouldn't ask anyone else to work on my house.

We had an emergent situation as our dryer almost caught on fire and we needed a repair soon. Everyone I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helpful. They sent someone in a timely manner and the price seemed reasonable for the work. Not only did they fix the issue, they also made it so that we could continue to use our dryer instead of needing to buy a new one. I'm very glad to have found this business!

We recently hired Black Sheep Electric for a complete rewire of our new home (which is 70 years old).  We also had them completely change the lighting in our large, dark family room.  The quote was one of the more reasonable we got and they guaranteed the quote for the work requested so we didn't have to worry about it changing unexpectedly.

Cameron and Tyler were always professional and flexible.  It was a two week job of climbing around our not-fun attic and they were great about it.  We were living in the house the whole time but they did an amazing job of making sure our lives were not disrupted much at all.  The electricity was back on every night and they cleaned before they left each day.

This was our first time hiring contractors and we were nervous because of all the horror stories one hears about what can go wrong.  We were so pleasantly surprised at how easy, non-disruptive, and predictable the whole process was.  We highly recommend!

I called Kyle today because a number of outlets in our kitchen were not working. He told me a couple of things to try but I requested a service call anyway and he agreed to send someone today. After our call, I had a follow on idea from what he told me and it fixed the problem. I called to cancel the service call and he was really nice. I am saving his name and number and will call him for any electrical needs.

I echo Tami T!  I am so happy that my contractor recommended them.  Everyone is amazing!  They are doing a pretty large job for my first floor AADU, including a total rewire of my 1964 home and moving service and panels.  They are on it and so flexible and professional and wonderful.

I hired Electri-city's services to install a pair of Tesla electric car chargers on a single breaker using the load-sharing feature of the updated Tesla wall connector model released in early 2016. My installation was complicated by the fact that my home already had a backup power generator with an automatic transfer switch to keep my home powered during grid outages, but the system didn't have enough power to run the wall connectors at the same time, and in any event Tesla explicitly cautioned against using their hardware with private generators.

Electri-city went beyond my expectations by researching the problem and discussing it with Tesla representatives directly, and they eventually found a solution by using a rare type of breaker that they ordered from some place in Las Vegas. The work was completed a couple months ago and their solution has been working well. By contrast, the other local electrician firm that I got a quote from didn't make any attempt to find a solution to the generator issue AND quoted a higher cost for the job (which would have excluded the special breaker that Electri-city used). So Electri-city provided better service at a lower price.

It did however take Electri-city a couple months to figure out how to handle my situation, and they also had to come back after the installation to add additional bushings after the permit inspection, so it wasn't perfect, but overall I am very happy with Electri-city's service.

We previously hired an electrician off Angie's list. It was a night and day difference between this and Best Built Electric. Best Built Electric was responsive, on time, very professional (knew exactly what they were doing), and helpful (provided guidance in addition to the work they performed). We are very happy with the service.

Eugene's team did great work to add a bunch of outlets and run a circuit for an induction range. They were very reasonably priced and the work was high quality. The electricians who came out were polite and efficient.

Very professional, wore their masks, were on time and did great work quicker than estimated so the final cost was less than the initial bid (which is always a bonus :)

I'd met with 2 electrical companies before someone recommended  Electrical Systems Solutions, and I am glad they did. I got my circuits re wired and now thanks to ESS we no longer keep blowing fuses.

I've used B&G for a few fixes in my new house. I have been so pleased with their helpfulness and kindness. Scheduling and communication is kind and responsive. Each time, they have gone above and beyond my expectations, and have worked quickly and efficiently. They are my first go-to for all things electric. As someone who lives alone, I'm very thankful to be able to rely on them.

After the dust has settled from my first and I hope last encounter with Hunt Services, I feel like this experience was a cross between a walk down the garden path and being left in the woods on a snipe hunt.    I  was on the internet looking for someone to do some electrical work around our home and I filled out a work request form and I received a call from Hunt Services.  I was told about the $99.00 service call fee and scheduled a appointment.  When the employees showed up to get the info on my project, not once did they offer me a written estimate.  I asked the employee if he needed a deposit and he told me no, the only thing I was being charged for that day was the $99.00 service fee.  Wrong.  I checked my credit card statement the next day and there was a charge on my account for ($1, 289.63)   I provided all of the products to complete this project.   The  2 employees who came to the house were very efficient and knowledgeable about electrical issues and they had the project completed in 3 hours.  I asked for a invoice to pay my bill and I was told one would be sent to my email account.    Our printer was not working at this time so it took me a couple of days for the ton of bricks to come crashing down on me when I did finally  see this invoice.   I was being charged ($2,456.43)  for this 3 hour project.  The last time I looked Electricians were getting about $40.00  per hour, not $400.00.  The one charge that really frosted my cookies was for  ($676.66)  to install 2 (4' plug in florescent light fixtures above a shelf in the garage.  We all like to see a business do well in these hard times, but this was more than just being heavy handed.  I would strongly recommend that you avoid having to use any of Hunts Services, if this is how normal business is done'   RIP  OFF

Pros:
Professional Demeanor:  All who entered my home were kind, pleasant, non obtrusive and professional even if their manager wasn't there.
Problem Solvers:  The men were good about doing work arounds due to the nature of the older home.

Cons:
Timeliness: My 3 day job took seven actually work days over 2 1/2 months with half of my electricity off in my home (due to an issue caused by the work and not agreed to by me).  They consistently arrived after 9 and left by 4 with a lunch.  When I asked for them to arrive earlier when I had work, they would say yes, but it didn't happen until I called the corporate office the day before the job was done.
Communication:  We had multiple issues with miscommunication.  Lovely conversations were had but Joe, the boss of the crew, didn't remember or misunderstood even when it was written down in the original order or I wrote it down for them.  This resulted in only part of the job being done (honest mistake but they lost the second part I would have gotten done by them due to these issues), my believing I would be without electricity for 4 weeks during summer when I am off and ending up waiting 8 weeks when I was back at work and getting dark, and numerous follow ups to get the original, agreed upon work done.
