Daniel has worked on 2 projects now at my house-- and each time has been incredibly reasonable with pricing and provided high quality work. Highly recommend him for any electrical projects-- though specifically I can vouch for his Ring floodlight/camera and EV wall charger installations.  Will definitely continue to request his services as needed.

I plugged in a leaf blower to an outlet and one whole section of my house lost power. One handyman, two handymen, three handymen (chaching, chaching, chaching) later the problem persisted. Derek was brilliant in troubleshooting the (simple) loose wire in a outlet that was functioning itself, but not allowing the electric to continue to produce electricity on down the line (technical jargon). Derek was so professional and frugal. I have had other electricians for other tasks, but ALIVE ELECTRIC is now at the front of my rolodex. Thanks Jeff and Derek.

I had a puzzling issue with outlets not working in one room. I did a search for electricians near me and Dependable Electric came up. I contacted them on a Sunday via email to describe my situation and ask about availability. The owner, Paul, actually called me back on that Sunday. He asked about the issue and troubleshooted with me over the phone. He was booked out but told me he'd contact me on Monday (which he did) to see if we could find a window of time that could work for him to stop by. He figured out the issue very quickly (within ten minutes) fixed it and was on his way within an hour. He isn't cheap, but he also didn't need to spend several hours diagnosing the problem. I appreciate that he was responsive, professional, knowledgeable, down to earth, and fixed the issue. Thank you!

I couldn't be happier. Alee and team crushed it. We just closed on a new home, totally new construction, zero crawl space, and very little existing ethernet.  And yet we needed 8 cameras, 4 wifi, all with our main two requirements:

1. we don't want to see any wires
2. don't require patches to drywall, as the paint and texture would be tricky to match.  

I thought this would be an impossible mission.

We had a few site surveys with others.  Everyone said they could do it, but didn't have a great way to describe their approach.  In fact, the most expensive quote told us we'd have to live with visible wires given the location of the cameras. It was Alee's site visit that sold my wife and I. He had a clear plan to deliver what we required, understood all the technical options, and was able to articulate trade-offs.

The install job was supreme.  We wouldn't know where the wires were hidden without Alee telling us.  He understood my existing Unifi equipment, recommend a few key technical upgrades, and made sure they were adopted and managed by my controller before considering the job complete.

My wife is also thrilled.  We love our new house, and were super-worried that a poor post-construction install job would ruin the aesthetic. Not the case at all.

To top it all off, his quote was the lowest.  No gauging, no unnecessary upgrades, and made sure we understood both the 'what' and they 'why' behind every decision.

Finally, we're COVID-19 at risk with a family member having a repressed immune system. The wore masks 100% of the time, and respected distancing throughout.

Again - I went into this project very nervous.  And have exited happier than I imagined.

Dave is the best! He has done two projects for me so far. The first was an entire house re-wire, and the other was an electrical panel and service upgrade. His pricing is straight forward, fair and reasonable. He clearly explains the options available, and helps you decide what best fits your needs and budget. He shows up on time, works hard and gets the job done on time. I'm glad I won't need to look anywhere else for any of my future electrical needs.

We had a ceiling fan installed in our master bedroom by Ben from Honesty Electrical.
He did a wonderful job!  He was organized and took pride in the final outcome.  He helped me make decisions based on aesthetics and function.
We will use Honesty Electrical Services in the future.

I had a guy come out and fix a breaker panel.  He was very friendly and knowledgeable and did the job quickly.  Charged less than the competitors.  Highly recommend.

We recently hired Black Sheep Electric for a complete rewire of our new home (which is 70 years old).  We also had them completely change the lighting in our large, dark family room.  The quote was one of the more reasonable we got and they guaranteed the quote for the work requested so we didn't have to worry about it changing unexpectedly.

Cameron and Tyler were always professional and flexible.  It was a two week job of climbing around our not-fun attic and they were great about it.  We were living in the house the whole time but they did an amazing job of making sure our lives were not disrupted much at all.  The electricity was back on every night and they cleaned before they left each day.

This was our first time hiring contractors and we were nervous because of all the horror stories one hears about what can go wrong.  We were so pleasantly surprised at how easy, non-disruptive, and predictable the whole process was.  We highly recommend!

Everybody who works for CES was knowledgeable and professional, they're very quick at what they did, saving me time and money on my electrical project, if you ever need an electrician to work on any project big or small give them a call. The owner's name is Kyle and was very quick to respond to any of my questions, no mater what situation I would throw at him he would have a solution. There prices are very responsible, and he worked with me to fit me into his schedule when other companies wouldn't even return my calls at times. The staff at McCarthy Electric & Technologies is top notch! From the first phone call, I was treated with such professionalism and courtesy that I almost forgot I was in 2023 where those things are hard to come by. They were prompt, highly skilled and easy to work with. I will be recommending MET to any who is seeking an electrician.

We needed an additional outlet on a dedicated circuit behind our fridge.  Justin came out on time, was courteous and professional.  He walked me through what his plan was, which involved interior/exterior work.  Whenever he entered they home, he wore a mask and shoe slippers.  His work was meticulous - very neat and tidy.  He even fixed up old outlet behind the fridge without asking.  All within the time they quoted me.  I couldn't ask for better, and will definitely use them again for any future electrical work.

I sent the company an email of exactly what needed to be done. Waited 2 days for a response-none received. Called the phone #. Told him I sent an email-he said he didn't get it-a lie. He said he would call me the next day-another lie. I had used this company several times in the past -but when someone lies to me, in this case repeatedly-they go on my avoid list. As an accountant  I do keep lists. There are plenty of of other electricians on this site to chose from. This is a heads-up for other homeowners.

We called Reign City Electric after we had a roof leak down into the electrical panel. I messaged them early in the morning before they were open and the owner responded right away. They were able to get a technician out to the house and get the panel fixed on the same day! They also had great prices for the work that was done. We will definitely be using them again and referring our clients to them when they have leaks into their electrical.

I was cold-called by Shawn Odom this morning and when I said that this moment wasn't a good time he told me he paid $139 for your phone number and then hung up. I actually couldn't believe how rude he was,  so I called back to clarify cause I thought he said something about charging me that money. After that, I gave him the satisfaction of feeling like his money was worth it...too bad he continued to be rude. He gave me a quote that based on my understanding of the work that needed to be done was far above the required work we would need. I actually pretended not to know what I was talking about because I thought it would be interesting to see how much he'd try to upsell me.
If you want an electrician, don't put your information into Angies List or Home Advisor or Houzz unless you want to be called by folks who try to guilt you into business... that was my mistake. It's not my job to make you feel better about being a bad salesperson.
Oh, and he asked me to review the call, so here it is bud. Don't call me again.

I am so grateful for B & G Electrical and specifically for John and Rafael. I have been trying to get a chandelier installed for months and have tried three different electricians with three different bids and had no luck. I had no idea installing a chandelier on a twenty foot ceiling would have been such a huge ordeal.

Then comes B & G electrical. I was so impressed with their professionalism and knowledge and I am so happy with the finished product. I wish I would've found them earlier! I highly recommend their services! Best of the best!

None of the drains in our home were draining, so we had contacted the property manager to get it fixed. Hunt is who they sent out.
We had expressed interest in the proceedings,  asking what the problem was, what they were doing to fix it. All they'd say was It's hard to tell. That was the last we heard. Not impressed with the poor communication.
UPDATE - I've upped it a star because a second team came out from Hunts that finished the job. The first truck didn't have the camera and 50 foot snake to clear the main house line all the way to the city main.  They were a bit more forthcoming with communication. They did much to improve my impression of the company, but the first team not saying anything is a tough customer service gaff to overcome.

I was referred to Brennan for some minor electrical work and I was very disappointed in the lack of customer care I received from both the electricial department and electrician. I had to call several times to get my appointment scheduled in the first place. When I finally got an appointment scheduled, I was given a 2 hour window of when the electrician would arrive. After not showing up w/ in the 2 hr time frame I called the main office to get an update. Was told he was on his way. An hour later I called again and couldn't reach anyone and left a voicemail. Almost 2 hour after my 2 hr scheduled window he arrived. It took him longer to ring up my charges than it did to fix the problem...$200 later. I am only giving one star for actually completing work!!!
