HiTek Telecom is awesome! We requested them to install security cameras for us, and they did an excellent job. Alee was patient and explained the project in detail before the project. He also fine-tuned the angles of the cameras with us before his team left.

Bonus: He accepts credit cards without extra fees -- This is not common among small business that work on projects of this scale in this area.

So far they have been spectacular! Attention to detail, passion about their work, great communication. Looking forward to finishing the project together - it was too much work to fit in a single day.
What they did: fiber runs from a central area (one of the rooms) to two different locations in the house, plus numerous short Cat6a runs (about 6 or more). Very happy with the quality. Alee is probably the best in town in computer networking.

I asked Alee to install a new Internet cable through the attic and connect to the box, so that I can use the internet from the wall outlet throughout the house.

Alee gave a quick quote based on the pictures I sent over the phone. He and his crew came to the house on the day he promised. They performed the job clean and efficiently. I am really happy with his work. Would recommend to anyone needs such help.

Alee was great all around. He was incredibly responsive and did a fantastic job at getting my networking going! He even tidied up the network box area and made it look very professional (which was not expected for a residential job). Also his prices were very reasonable and scheduling was a breeze. I received a quick response from the business and they were able to install a coax outlet for me the next day. They went above and beyond and def up my router for me as well. Their work is professional and clean. I received excellent service and will continue to use them in the future for any home network projects I might have! Highly recommend them.

We bought a house that was in need of updates to its network setup, and we also wanted to get security cameras installed. We called Alee to schedule an estimate appointment, and he was able to come out that same day since he was in the area! We knew we wanted to go all-in on the Ubiquiti / UniFi ecosystem for both networking and security, but Alee's guidance was extremely helpful in narrowing down the exact equipment to order.

On install day (which, again, was scheduled extremely promptly), Alee and his team came and did the installation. We were lucky because the house was already well-wired with CAT6 everywhere, but the installation time still ran slightly over because of the complexity of some of the install sites.

The end result was fantastic. All the access points and cameras were installed very cleanly. We have a beautiful network rack set up in the garage with wires very neatly bundled up and plenty of room for expansion, and our security camera and wifi coverage is perfect.

Would definitely recommend them!

Alee helped me by running many new wires around the house, mounting switches in a cabinet, installing an access point in the ceiling, and cabling power/hdmi through the wall for a TV.

He and his partner did great work creatively running wires in a way they weren't visible and came in cleanly. Alee was easy to communicate with, and was able to come over and quote it easily.

The net of all of this is I can now make use of high speed fiber and my network is now rock solid, important for continual demands to work from home.

I couldn't be happier. Alee and team crushed it. We just closed on a new home, totally new construction, zero crawl space, and very little existing ethernet.  And yet we needed 8 cameras, 4 wifi, all with our main two requirements:

1. we don't want to see any wires
2. don't require patches to drywall, as the paint and texture would be tricky to match.  

I thought this would be an impossible mission.

We had a few site surveys with others.  Everyone said they could do it, but didn't have a great way to describe their approach.  In fact, the most expensive quote told us we'd have to live with visible wires given the location of the cameras. It was Alee's site visit that sold my wife and I. He had a clear plan to deliver what we required, understood all the technical options, and was able to articulate trade-offs.

The install job was supreme.  We wouldn't know where the wires were hidden without Alee telling us.  He understood my existing Unifi equipment, recommend a few key technical upgrades, and made sure they were adopted and managed by my controller before considering the job complete.

My wife is also thrilled.  We love our new house, and were super-worried that a poor post-construction install job would ruin the aesthetic. Not the case at all.

To top it all off, his quote was the lowest.  No gauging, no unnecessary upgrades, and made sure we understood both the 'what' and they 'why' behind every decision.

Finally, we're COVID-19 at risk with a family member having a repressed immune system. The wore masks 100% of the time, and respected distancing throughout.

Again - I went into this project very nervous.  And have exited happier than I imagined.

Alee helped us route 4 new cat 6 cables across our crawl space + attic on a 2 story house. Alee and his teammate were quick with their work (~half a day) and the workmanship was great (he did a great job routing to keep cables hidden).

I used a person from angie's list to help me connecting my router from upstairs to my office downstairs. That guy damaged a lot of things - he messed up the addict, he jump on the washer and bend it  And after he finished the network connection gives me only 80MB...it should be close to 1000MB.

Alee came and fixed the issue in 10 mins with a VERY fair price.

I strongly recommend Alee for home networking...avoid Angie's list.

I moved into a house that had a pre-wired Ethernet setup but it was a mess and not hooked up correctly.  The team at HiTek was incredibly responsive over email and text, worked with me to determine what needed to be done, and then came out and executed as they had stated.  All with COvID precautions.  Definitely recommend them highly!

Alee and his team did a fantastic job. They installed 5 UniFi access points and relocated my network rack to the garage. All wire were routed hidden and zero drywall damage. The network rack was updated with a patch panel that makes it super easy to hook new equipment to the switch. Alee also troubleshooted a security cam and cable for me. He is super knowledgeable about all network and security camera equipment. He even made some upgrade recommendations for equipment I was interested in upgrading.

Bonus: scheduling was a great experience. He was able to stop by same day I called for an appointment. Did a walk through and gave me an estimate on the spot. Was able to fit me in the schedule sooner. Confirmed the appointment and sent a calendar invite (nice touch for ppl who live in their calendars like me). Came on time and was really efficient. Didn't do like other electricians to slack or take longer time on the client's dime. Final product is better than I expected.

For those worried about having techs at your home during pandemic, Alee and his team kept their masks on all the time and kept space ventilated where possible.

My house is older with lots of rooms and thick walls.  I've been dealing with dead wifi spots for years and have tried unsuccessfully to address the problem with various consumer-grade solutions that I installed myself (wifi repeaters, mesh network solutions, etc).  I spent quite a bit of money over the years trying to fix this myself, but it just never worked very well.

Alee made a quick initial visit to scope out the work and give me a cost estimate.  Then he returned a week or so later to do the work, which was completed in less than a day.

The work consisted of him and his colleague hardwiring the key rooms with Ethernet cable and connecting four high quality wifi access points back to my main internet modem.  The installation is very clean with wires hidden inside walls, ceiling, and the attic.  I didn't need to wait long for an initial appointment, and he completed it on time and on budget.  The system he installed works great!  I would definitely use his company again, and I highly recommend him to others!

I needed residential work done to accommodate enterprise-level equipment in a small apartment (homelab, etc.). This was a task that other home network consultants were not comfortable with or wanted to charge me exorbitant rates for. The price I paid was great value.

Alee went above and beyond in executing the job and showed that he was able to correct mistakes made by previous installers and make his work modular so that it wouldn't leave a mark on the apartment if I moved. He also explained and labeled everything to make maintainence foolproof.

His work area was left cleaner than when he arrived and the installation was flawless (cable management was data center quality). He has the most high end tools equipment so that he can test and debug any issues - ensuring a quality result.

Great customer-centric service, responsiveness, articulate and prompt.  Alee was great right from the start. He came over within a day of making contact with him. Within a 20 min walkthrough, he'd assessed the needs and promptly proposed a solution.  

I had a mess of cat5 and CTV cabling run into a low voltage panel ... cut and not patched or patched well.  My wireless networking solution was a jumble and didn't have the coverage I required or needed.

Alee solved all of this for me.  The panel is in precise order, labeled, tested and verified, and an AP wifi solution that just works.  Nice work!

HiTek and Alee's service was excellent, professional, and reasonably priced. We had our new home hardwired with ethernet, added another tv cable, and assessed for a security camera. Alee was helpful and did really good work despite some of the challenges our house poses. We'll definitely be using HiTek again in the future.

Our older home has a more complicated issue that needs to be resolved ASAP and he didn't have an opening available soon enough. Alee came in to diagnose our problem​ and worked really hard to find it but he did not charge us (even though we wanted to pay him for all the work he put in) since he could not fix our issue. Very friendly, prompt, professional, respectful and put everything back the way he found it.

Great guy, great team. Came, quoted. On day of work, texted before arrival, arrived on time, spotless job and helped me with something extra.

We've been struggling with inconsistent internet and wifi access at our home for years despite trying multiple solutions to improve our home coverage (wifi extenders, new router, etc.). With COVID, between working from home and kids doing school we were constantly having video calls drop and wifi outages. HiTek's service was professional, reasonably priced, and the end result is amazing. I wish I had called 6-months ago when we all transitioned to our home. We'd definitely use HiTek again in the future.

We called Alee when we had an outage and he was very responsive. The next day he stopped by in the evening and replaced the router, at a fair price.  The only problem was, our security cameras then wouldn't reconnect, which I wrote off as a technical issue for our security company.  I had to call them for an expensive service call.
Next the network printer, no longer worked and my wireless router could no longer be contacted to change the password, etc.  I called Alee and he said he would 'think about it' and call back.  He never did.

For a simple fix with no chance of callbacks, he would be OK, but not for anything that might require follow-up or a return visit.

This is my first time writing yelp review simply because Alee provided me exceptional great service for cable wiring. I called him like Thursday morning, he was able to come to my place and do the inspection same day afternoon. Today is Saturday and he finished all the wiring plus TV mounting. I was so surprised how careful he installed all the cable for my new home. He takes care of your home like his, always try to do things carefully. Cleaned up everything after he finish. If you are looking for cable management, i highly recommend Alee, he is my go to person.

I called Hitek to install some new cable lines in my home for a DirecTV installation. I texted their main phone and Alee answered. He was quick to accept the job and came by the next morning to give me a bid. He arrived on time and was able to do the work within a few hours that same morning; and for a reasonable price as well.  The DirecTV installer is here now and hooked up to your lines with no problems. Great service, reasonable prices and very competent.  Addressed all fire-proofing needs (double layers of sheetrock, fire caulking, etc) as required per code without having to be informed of this while identifying optimal areas in an existing building to re-wire.  A pleasant surprise in the small business sector.  Strongly recommend.

I cannot believe that one can get great service at a reasonable price! Alee came to our rescue almost immediately when I gave him a call, replaced almost all outlets for us and additional battery replacement for our fire alarm. Simple, honest and efficient. I needed to install a few TV cable, Ethernet, and power outlets, and to mount a TV. None of the providers I contacted responded as promptly as HiTek or were not able to provide this kind of service. Alee has many years of experience working with TV cabling and telecom equipment, so he was exactly who I needed! Alee came by to discuss the scope of work at convenient evening hour after 7pm! He gave me a free estimate, and installation was agreed to be done within a couple of days. The work was done professionally, and Alee gave good recommendations where I had questions. I'm very happy with HiTek services and recommend them to all!

HiTek installed some cat-6 and voice lines for our new business.   Not only were they the most reasonably priced, they were by far the most professional.   Alee called me back within minutes and was quick to come out to give me an estimate.  He always followed up and/or returned my calls/emails within the hour.  He was available to help during our inspection while he was on vacation (I don't know many businesses that would do that).      He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to recommend the most effective and efficient way to run our lines while in the midst of construction.  He has since followed up after the project and has always been available when we have had questions or to lend a hand as a courtesy.    I would highly recommend HiTek and Alee to anyone or any business out there.  You will not be disappointed.  Top notch!

Alee and his crew ran Cat 6 cables to almost 200 units in our 20 story high rise condo building. He was very helpful in the planning and HOA approval stage. They worked  fast, came up with creative solutions when running into problems, pricing was good and he was fantastic dealing with our home owners.  I would highly recommend him.
