First let me say that the work they did was great. The gentlemen that came they were great too. Their truck did break down and they didn't call us until the day of our appointment and they needed to switch it which was not a big deal. The reason for the one star is we have been customers of theirs since we moved to Arizona. We referred my mother we have had the water system put in both of our homes we've had them out to do our vents and we have them out to do the filters every year when I called to schedule my appointment and I had a super friendly girl and she gave us a 5% discount for being good customers. When my mom called to schedule her appointment she asked about the discount and the girl said no. I called to explain the situation and the girl checked with the manager and they still said no. But the girl did say that they give senior citizen discounts. So I said well my mom is a senior citizen. And she said OK let me go check. After she just got done telling me the breath before that they give senior citizen discounts.She came back and said sorry discounts are on equipment only. Now all of this wouldn't of been such a big deal except for I had referred my mom for the cleaning explaining to her about the discount. We could've used another company that's for sure but we like to give people our business that we trust. Well no longer will they be getting my business. And I will not refer, not one single person , to them. What a major disappointment this is turned out to be because I really thought this was like a company.

When the compressor in our air conditioner failed, Mike worked hard with our home warranty company to ensure we were properly cared for. As soon as the parts were ordered, and work was authorized, Mike and Tim were at our home pulling out the old unit, just in time for the new unit to arrive. They plowed through the whole replacement of the split system in a single visit, getting it done in around 8 hours, in the middle of summer (I have no idea how they are able to stand the heat!). A huge thank you to Mike and Tim, for doing high quality work so quickly! Our family is enjoying the new A/C system.

Last year after interviewing 6 HVAC companies, I chose Dukes of Air to install a new HVAC system in my home. Today Chris came to do the (included) maintenance just before AC season. He was courteous, efficient and very professional and helpful. He inspected my system inside and out and changed my air filters - even changed a light bulb in my (10 ft) ceiling for me while he had the ladder out. Now that's great customer service! So glad I chose Dukes of Air. I highly recommend!

Long story shortened, had one of the big companies out for routine maintenance and quoted me and outlandish price to repair 4 items. A friend recommended David at Biltmore Mechanical, and I couldn't be more thankful he did! Basically he said 3 of the parts need to be monitored, but not replaced yet. I'm not kidding people, the big company quoted me $830 per capacitor to replace for a total of $3320 plus the $600 for the maintenance on my 5 units! David replaced one for a total of $299 including the trip charge.

Found with the help of Yelp contractors. After he reached out to me promptly, we scheduled an appointment same-day for an AC that wouldn't turn on. He was able to arrive a bit early, which was great. He was friendly and went right to work. AC was on in the matter of minutes! When he came back inside he told me what was wrong and what he fixed. He even inspected the system to check overall condition and found out fan speed set too slow. For years we've lived with our AC not blowing hard enough for this simple reason. It's already cooler than normal in our house! He accepts credit cards and emails receipts. Will hopefully not have to call him again for some time but I know who to call if I need someone!

I would like to start off on saying that our overall experience with Ideal Energy was phenomenal! It's very hard to say that in this day and age but it's true.
Quote Process...
To start off, our first contact with the company was for an energy audit. We had planned to get a quote (winter project) for updated ducts and insulation for a 1983 house that had the original swamp cooler duct work and possibly the same insulation. I had an appointment scheduled with Wes for 8am. On the appointment day, I received the on my way call from him 30 min prior to arriving which was great and he was on-time. During his visit, he took his time, explained everything to us and happily answered all of our questions and offered recommendations on what to do even if we do not go with them or if we waited until winter when I had planned to do it. The day before, our AC unit had issues but we had another company out to fix that problem. Long story short, AC unit ended up needed to be replaced while we were waiting on the proposal from Wes. I texted Wes to add a AC unit onto the bid, he called me up and gave a few options and gave us 2 quotes. The quotes that were sent to us had write-ups for each picture that was taken during the audit (very detailed). We ended up accepting one of the quotes for all the work (AC, duct work and insulation) and a time slot had opened up for us 4 days later. Alex (Owner) stopped by on Monday to get a few measurements and offered us a portable AC unit to get us by thru the whole process, which we gladly accepted.
Installation Process Day 1 (Tuesday)...
I was told Chris (Lead) would be doing the AC install and would be there at 5am to start removing the unit. Chris called to give me the on my way call and was there on-time as well. The rest of the workers (Marty and Ernesto) came by about an hour later as scheduled to start removing the duct work. They were very considerate, as I told them the family was getting ready and if they could wait about 15 minutes, which they had no problem. Once all was clear, they got to work, taped up the house, laid tarps and sheets everywhere to make the clean-up process easier. All workers busted their butts all day without even taking a lunch. After the 1st day, they got the AC up and running, got half the house going with AC (much better than it was when it was actually working), added 6 new registers and cleaned up everything.
Day 2 (Wednesday)...Workers got to the house very early and continued working hard. Once again, they waited until the family was done getting ready for work and school. This time Tony (Lead) was there along with Marty and Ernesto. They kept us updated on what was going on and what was expected of them to be completed by end of day. By end of day 2, the AC, all duct work was completed and old register holes were drywalled up. Once again, they cleaned everything up as if they weren't even in the house.
Day 3 (Thursday)...Tony, Marty and Andrew got there early once again and was hard at work. This ended up being only a half day of work. All registers were sealed, drywall was now all patched up, return vent upgraded and all the new insulation added. To top everything off, we had to have our pup at the house and she is a little crazy around strangers but she really warmed up to them being in the house after they took their time to let her sniff them out. After everything was said and done, I received a call from Alex on how everything went and if we had any questions.
Summary...
We were so excited with how we were treated as person throughout this whole process. Not one worker showed disgust or any negativity with all the questions (there was many) that we asked during the 3 day process and even took their time to explain technical stuff very easy for us to understand. A week and half later our house is still freezing cold and it's amazing that the thermostat is set at a higher temp then it was before.

I highly recommend DCM. We had them replace 2 AC units and put in some new ductwork for a home we purchased end of November. Extremely professional, responsive, knowledgable. Joseph was absolutely wonderful to work with. He is great with communication and following up throughout the entire process with thorough/detailed emails - from initial questions/estimates all the way to after install and setting up warranties for the units. Shaun was also extremely helpful, detailed and took the time to answer many of our other questions about the home and HVAC. And lastly, Fidel and his crew were wonderful - very hardworking, efficient and courteous. My husband and I really appreciated the extra time Fidel spent over going the new systems with us. Again, I am extremely satisfied with DCM and would highly recommend them.

Had some issue with my unit not blowing cold as desired. It's an old unit and had issues in the past. Called Sure Temp AC for PM check. David was our technician. He came within the expected window, checked everything and gave detailed explanation of what was going on. He was very professional and honest. Even gave me a little trick to easily fix issue in one of our room. I was skeptical at first because the reviews were too good, thinking maybe they're fake. But, I'm glad I went with this company. AC went out at night in mid-August. Called them at 6 am next morning, surprisingly someone answered (not voicemail), they showed up on site a few hours later, determined that a fan motor had failed, they had the part on their truck and quoted a price to fix it, and by about noon everything was fixed and my AC was blowing cold air again. They are punctual, reliable, honest, and charged a fair price. Their good reviews are well deserved.

We tried to stay with Goettle but they forced us to find another company. We had them install a brand new package unit 2 years ago, 7 months later it had to be repaired. Each time we called for semi-annual service we are told we are not a priority customer because we are not a Sadie Member ($14.00 a month) despite the fact we spent over $8,000.00 with them. The unit is missing screws and I do not believe they have ever cleaned the condenser. The final straw was today when I have been waiting for them to service the unit on Monday ( an appt I made a month ago ) to say they cannot make it and will need to reschedule. I am now looking for a new HVAC Company.
