Vince came same day to inspect a triggered ejector pump alarm. Turned out to be a false alarm but confirmation was very much appreciated.

I had no idea that my toilets were unique and polarizing.  Not all plumbers can handle rear-entry toilets apparently, but fortunately First Chicago was one who could.  First Chicago arrived on time, assessed the situation, set up an installation date... and then showed up and completed it.  What a concept!  Professional, timely, and competent.  They even provided the quality products without any supply chain whining or blame shifting.  So, I sit here on my throne a happy consumer.  Thanks, First Chicago!

We had several plumbing problems and called Green Tech Plumbing. They responded quickly with an estimate and  a timely appointment. Dan came over and was very professional. He examined the pipes and explained in detail what was needed. He also reviewed with me how my system works. Great service with a very fair price.

Adam came out late on a Friday night to help us with an urgent issue, and was extremely professional and courteous--and solved our problem quickly and safely. Thank you, Adam!

Our bathroom sink became completely clogged on a Saturday morning. It's the only upstairs bathroom in our home and needless to say - a nightmare when unusable. I called Hristo at ABV and he was able to come out and clear the drain in a matter of hours. He also repaired a leaky drain in another washroom. Price was very reasonable with excellent customer service. Highly recommend ABV!!

Victor was outstanding. He was quick to respond, incredibly courteous and professional and provided exemplary service. He quickly diagnosed the issue with the clogged kitchen drain line, was frank with the condition of our pipes and recommendations should we encounter future issues. We were having significant issues with a stubborn shower drain.. the water would drain but did so extremely slowly!  Bert was very punctual for the free estimate.  He took his time and listened to all our concerns before doing a VERY thorough inspection.  Though we got several estimates, we decided to go with Bert because he was very professional and knowledgeable, and did not seem rushed.  He brought in the rooter and camera and was able to fix our problem in no time!  The drain works like new!  Highly recommend Bert and his company!

I honestly was hesitant on posting a bad review for this company as I much prefer to spread good news than bad. Having said that, if my review helps this company to improve then the post was well worth it.

Had a situation where our main line out to the street was somehow blocked. At the time of the call to Plumbing Pros, frankly I did not know if it was an internal or external pipe, none-the-less everything was backing up through the basement shower drain. Use the sinks upstairs? The water would show up in the downstairs shower. Flush the toilets? The water would appear in this downstairs shower. Obviously something was wrong.

I called the Plumbing Pros on a Saturday night, knowing that I would be in for some overtime charges. None-the-less, I obviously needed this fixed. I was connected to one of the technicians, who promised me that he would be out on Sunday morning around 9:00 a.m. to take a look.

Well Sunday at 9:00 a.m. came, no technician. No problem, give him a little time. 10:00 a.m. came, 11:00 a.m. came, 12:30 p.m. came, no technician. I finally received a text at 1:25 p.m. in the afternoon. It was the technician, basically apologizing that he did not make it. The reason? He basically had a late night on Saturday and he woke up late on Sunday morning. I could not make this up. Honestly, I have to give the guy credit for being honest, but I also have to obviously question his professionalism.

In fairness to the technician, he did call me the next day to apologize and offered to come out at no charge to fix the problem. But if you are reading this and have had emergency plumbing problems before, you know that apologizes for irresponsible behavior just are not going to cut it. Along with wasting an entire Sunday morning and part of the afternoon, we had to scramble to get other plumbers out to take a look.

Again, I cannot condemn this entire company as I have read nothing but good reviews about them and I do sense that they do great work. I believe this was a technician problem and not a company problem. Having said that, it goes without saying that I will not be using them anytime soon.

They seem to have done a good job overall, but it was hard to communicate with them. He came fairly quickly to give me a quote and explained everything he was going to do. He seems very knowledgeable about his job and gave me a good price. However, he must be very busy because after I agreed to the quote it was hard to get answers to my questions. Then, he was supposed to return to finish putting the plate on the wall and to adjust the lights as they are motion lights and one of them only turns on for a second and then it goes off, so now I'm left with trying to fix those final minor things. I'm not handy man, so that's just annoying to me.

Just as a follow up, they did come and finish the loose ends. My advice is that if you sense your questions or concerns are not being met, just reach out to the owner of the company, Jesse!

We had a bad situation in our crawlspace with water escaping from a blown check valve. A&T came out within the hour to stop the water and replace the sump pump that was old. The line was also rodded out. The work was done timely, efficiently and professionally. We are happy with the service and highly recommend to others. Also, the company is very knowledgeable in mold and offers corrective remediation solutions.

I have a condo that needed to get rent ready for the next tenant. It needed quite a bit of work. He managed it beautifully. Identified some things that I was not aware of that were of concern. Easy to communicate with and on point with the work.

My second floor bathroom shower valve was leaking after twenty years of wear and tear. Jason and his partner David were very knowledgeable and professional in in assessing what the job would require to sucessfully complete the repair or replacement of the valve.
Jason determined that the delta cartridge would only require replacement not the valve itself. The job was performed in a professional and timely manner! Thank you Anderson plumbing as a prevouis quote from another company would  have cost me $1,900 to replace a valve that wasn't necessary.

Update!  When the backflow valve was installed, I put a camera in my front window to document the whole process.  When the owner learned of this, he asked if he could have a copy of the video for his own marketing purposes.  I said sure, even made a time-lapse of the footage for him.  He said he'd give me a free cleanout (annual maintenance) in exchange.

Well the time came to schedule the annual cleanout, and despite my previous issues with 4S Plumbing, I figured I may as well cash in on that free cleanout.  I contacted 4S and scheduled the work, and the guy who came out was a contractor who had his own processes and knew nothing about the deal I had with 4S.  He gave me an invoice, I wrote him a check, and hoped the owner would honor his word.

I even texted him about it.  He said he never got the footage.  So I resent him the link, again hoping he'd figure out how to download it and...honor his word.

Well you can probably guess where this is going...sure enough, that check got deposited, and no further word from 4S about my alleged free cleanout.

This company is trash.  Avoid at all costs.

We had a horrid sulfuric smell emanating from our basement and making the entire house smell like an exploded port-o-potty. A problem with our sewer drains and grease traps were the culprits. This was a reoccurring problem in the house, but this was the most severe case. Frustratingly enough, we'd recently had another company come out just a few weeks before to (expensively) address the issue permanently. Clearly, it didn't work. When ACE responded to my call, Rich had a thorough conversation to help understand the problem and history. When ACE came, they were friendly and on time. After the assessment, Rich explained the previous company addressed only one of the FIVE drains in our basements. The last company didn't even note/check the other drains. Rich could not have been more patient walking me through our problem, the sources, his remediation plans and recommendations for future maintenance. Pricing was clear and competitive before the team started any work. It has been months and I'm so glad ACE's fix was truly a permanent solution!
Lastly, I had another plumbing issue (much simpler), and Rich was so kind to give me a diy solution that worked like a charm--his rationale: I don't want charge you for something that could possibly be an easy fix. He even offered to be on the phone and walk me through the solution if I needed help. These guys will be my go-to moving forward.

We had a really stubborn clog in our tub and after trying all type of liquids to pour down the drain plus a manual and an electric snake we decided to leave it to professionals. These guys came right the next morning and unclogged it within minutes! Very reasonable price too. Highly recommend!

A burst pipe found me a new plumber. Trojan's owner got me scheduled on a Saturday, despite a backlog of 200 calls (polar vortex). The technician arrived two hours early, quickly located the issue, and both repaired the pipe and installed a shut-off valve. (Spot vulnerable due to outside water spigot.) Price for emergency service: very fair.

Trojan also has a remediation unit, and I'll be obtaining a quote.

The plumbing firm which previously had worked on the house? Couldn't come out until Monday, and located the shut-off valve so that it hits pipes (and doesn't completely shut off). That firm is history.
