I can't say enough good things about Erik and his team! We had a wonky problem with our water heater leaking and they were persistent in diagnosing it, finally resolving after trying several fixes. We so appreciate that they didn't give up... others may have thrown up their hands and been on their way.

We called other plumbing services only to be told it would be 4 days!!!!! Not acceptable with the mess we were dealing with.
Thank you Sam and ALL WAYS ROOTER.

We called this company when our tank began to leak and they were able to send someone within 20 minutes. Dale came to our rescue. He was able to let us know right away that we needed to change our tank and he could take care of it at that moment!! Awesome!! He was patient with our questions and very professional. He went the extra mile for us and was such a big help for us during this project. I wish I could give him more stars if I could.

Plumbing is something that you don't tend to think much about, but when something goes wrong, it's a huge pain. I had my water heater fail after 11 years on the job and was not prepared for its demise. The final act of rebellion, sending water all over my basement was not a treat either or a fun way to spend a Sunday evening.
Monday, time to start figuring out what to do about getting this problem fixed. Using yelp as my guide, called 3-4 guys with good reviews. The incumbent, gave me a cost over the phone, one had a broken truck and gave me the name of some other outfit, and one offered to send someone out on Tuesday to assess the situation (and charge me ~$100).
I remembered that the ex had a plumber come here when we moved in to do a couple of minor things. I didn't deal with him at all beyond paying the bill. I decided to call and see if I could get my hot water back quicker than the offerings from my other calls.
I gave Mr Simmons a call and was referred to his mobile number and left a message there. Called back within 30 minutes and he said he could come over in ~30 minutes and we could discuss the job. He was right on time, we talked about different replacement ideas for a good while (I was considering changing from electric to gas and maybe tankless). Jerry gave me a lot to think about, but ultimately, swapping and moving to a better location in my basement just didn't fit my budget. I decided to just go with replacement of what had failed. Jerry called within an hour and gave me a cost which seemed fair for the task, the expertise, and meeting requirements that the prior install had not.
Arrived on time and finished everything up with no trouble. I have hot water back, along with some things I didn't before: earthquake straps, foam insulation and tray under the tank, along with overflows out of my living area. A future failure will not flood my basement. I wish the incumbent installer had cared as much about doing things right as Jerry does.
Jerry is a knowledgeable straight shooter who is fun to work with. I like be able to support a quality West Seattle business when ever I have the need. When they add honesty, timeliness, and fair pricing, it's even better.

Dave came out quickly and provided a quote, but when I tried to schedule it, we texted a bit and then I never heard from him again. I hired Cahill Plumbing instead and they did a great job.

We liked the work so much that Vortex did on our kitchen drain pipe (see below) that we had them come back and re-pipe our entire house's hot and cold water pipes. Our home had the original galvanized pipes from 1967. This which meant that the pipes were flaking (potentially a health hazard) and had a lot of mineral deposits - making the water pressure pretty bad. Baldeep and his team came in quickly and had a clear plan that reduced the amount of demo'ing they needed to do. Everyone was very nice, professional, organized, and did a good job following covid-safety protocol. I can now highly recommend Vortex for both big and medium-sized jobs.

Vortex did a great job replacing our kitchen drain pipe too: We noticed water leaking in bubbles in our drywall ceiling, opened it up, and realized the entire drain pipe needed to be replaced...stat. We couldn't use our kitchen until we had someone out to do the work (doing dished in the bathroom sink is not fun, let me tell you). Not only did Vortex come out same day to do an estimate - they came back the next day and fixed it completely! They were professional, nice, and went above and beyond to get us back up and running. Highly recommend.

If I could give them negative stars I would. We had a leak coming from upstairs - Swift came out 3 different times only to NEVER diagnose problem. The last time we had them come out they tore a huge hole in our downstairs bathroom ceiling and said they couldn't go any further because there was mold. They said Servpro would have to come out and remediate the mold. Then sense they couldn't go farther downstairs they went upstairs and ripped toilet out, cut a big hole in drywall and couldn't find anything. They left my house a mess, left toilet laying on floor and said guess I will have to go to hotel. We called Servpro - they came out and said there was NO mold!!! They methodically looked at water trail and asked if Swift ever took kickplate off dishwasher because they were pretty sure that was where the water was coming from (this from Servpro who are not plumbers but we're smarter than Swift). So we call Swift back and told them what Servpro said - they were very rude this time so we told them forget it and we would find another plumber. So after all that we called Ricks Plumbing in Suquamish and bam he came out immediately and fixed the problem - supply line to dishwasher. He was shocked that Swift could not figure it out and was also shocked how swift left the toilet on floor in bathroom. Rick was great and he gets 5 stars. Below are pics of how Swift left my bathroom

If you're looking for a plumber to fix your sump pump, do not use Action Jackson.
We first contacted Action Jackson in December 2015 because our sump pump alarm was going off. It was $2,000 to install their recommended $300 1/2 horsepower pump. Two months later, the new pump stopped working because the one they installed wasn't powerful enough for our system. They told us the only solution was to dig out the basin and replace it with a larger basin at $10,000+. Action Jackson told us to go through their sister company Sewer Friendly because there wasn't anything else they could do.
Additionally, Action Jackson showed up in our backyard multiple times unannounced and uninvited. They also took the sewage in our basin and dumped it in the alley behind our house. This is illegal dumping of raw sewage and is completely disgusting. Lastly, they didn't put the pump lid back on correctly after finishing the job which goes against house codes.
We felt very uncomfortable moving forward so we started doing more research. We had 4 different plumbers assess our situation, each one telling us that the 1/2 horsepower pump Action Jackson installed would never be powerful enough for our home's sewer system.
We contacted Action Jackson multiple times to get our money back, but the owner would never call us back. We ended up contacting our bank to get a full refund.

This company is fantastic! Sean came out to our home and helped us detect a leak we had no idea where it was coming from. His knowledge and many years of experience really made a difference in figuring out our issue. It ended up easily resolvable without tearing into our home to figure it out. I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and expertise. It was invaluable. I would highly recommend this company before you go through years of expense and heartache of trying to figure out your problem. They are an international company that knows what they're doing. I'm so glad I found them through a wonderful reference that had used them in the past.

Leon was super efficient and got a variety of fixes for me in a short time - starting from cabinet doors, kitchen and shower faucets to installing a ring video doorbell. Truly an All in One maintenance! I highly recommend him for the quality and speed of his work.

Another plumber charged 864 dollars for an unnecessary jet cleaning, couldn't fix the clog and then wanted to charge 5000 dollars for new piping. I got a recommendation from a neighbor and called Done Right Plumbing for a second estimate. They got rid of the clog in 20 minutes for 250 dollars! Done Right Plumbing saved me thousands of dollars!

They replaced my 15-year old tank on 4/9/2021. Great communication throughout the process. They were able to schedule an installment the next day. They called ahead of time when they were about to arrive which was great. I thought the installation would take about 2 hours but surprisingly it only took the technicians about 40 minutes to complete the entire job.

The tech that came out was very skillful and knowledgeable. He was able to locate our problem in our sewer line, it was dug up and fixed in the same day. Everything was cleaned up and working perfectly. Great company with a very professional staff from start to finish. I definitely recommend them!

No longer does Heating and Air Conditioning. Now is called Ally Plumbing only.
They probably should update their information.

STAY CLEAR! Would not provide even a ballpark estimate over the phone, which should have been a clear warning sign but I let them come out anyway and ended up paying the you've got to be kidding me fee. The estimate to fix a simple leak in a cpvc water line was simply absurd - $1100. They offered to wave the over $400 under the house fee, which was still ridiculous. I was able to have the leak fixed by a very courteous and professional plumber for a fraction of the cost the very same day. The company's strategy is very clear - steal as much money as possible from unsuspecting customers. I feel sorry for their victims and I regret not researching them on yelp before I called them. Lesson learned.

Do not touch this plumbing company with a 10 foot pole. They are incredibly shady and scumy.
They came out to the property we were renting to unclog a drain. It took the plumber about an hour to do, and they charged nearly $1000. They charged us for two jobs and when asked for the work order, they refused to provide any information about the job that was done or the pricing. The office is both disrespectful and condescending.
