Best Septic Tank Cleaning in Seattle WA
My water heater broke and flooded the garage the night before Thanksgiving. I called and got many quotes. Vortex gave me a call back right away. They had the best price and they had the availability to come out on Thanksgiving morning. They didn't charge me extra for the holiday. They did a professional job. The new water heater was installed well and works great.

I wish I could write 100 one-star reviews for this place. Working with them turned out to be one of the worst experiences of owning our new home. We had used them before for a repair and they were very responsive and reasonable, which is why we called them when the shower in our new home was leaking. They said they could fix it and were interested in doing the total bathroom remodel. The day they were supposed to start, no one showed. Not the next day, either. After some prodding, someone finally showed on Wednesday for a few hours. And thus it began. Every week, we had an average of 5 hours of labor on the project. At first, we accepted their excuses--the main plumber on our project was quite sick, and excessive rains affected some of their other outdoor projects, so they had to reallocate their resources. By week 10, we knew it was all a ruse. They were using us to fill the spaces in between the regular business of their plumbing emergencies.
In addition to being very unreliable and uncommunicative, the quality of the work done was very poor. It was after several major errors were discovered that we finally fired them. The tile job on the floor looked like it was someone's first job--the joints were not lined up and the colors had not been considered, with several areas where the exact same colors (or even the exact same pattern) were used in adjacent spots. They also used green board (cheaper) instead of concrete backer board in the shower without consulting us. About 30 seconds on google is enough to discover what pros should be using. The electrical work (which was contracted out) was not done to code, and we had to hire a different electrician to rectify it or risk losing power in our kitchen whenever we used more than one appliance. Finally, the heated floor was not connected to the power supply before the tile was glued down. Thankfully the electrician came before the floor was grouted. Outlets in the vanity area were not set up where requested. The time between the conversations about our needs and when the work done was often weeks or even months, and I'm sure the workers simply didn't remember. When our new contractor finished everything and the shower was turned on, the plumbing that these guys had done didn't hold up and we had to hire a new plumber to rip two holes in the wall and resolder.
When reading the reviews for this business, you will find many 5-star reviews. These come from people who are so relieved that their plumbing emergency was fixed quickly. If you are considering using this company for a long-term project, I suggest reading the 1-star reviews. They will give you a much better picture of the professionalism of this company.
Our family (2 working parents and 2 young children) is still recovering from this 4-month experience. It has taken me 3 months to even write this review. Try Bottomline Plumbing of Burien instead.

I had such a great experience with Price Busters Plumbing! Zack and Beau came out really fast, professional and diagnosed the problem very quickly.
I was stressing about the sewage leak from my building. It was all over the street, thinking it was going to be a very expensive repair...
Once they diagnosed the problem, Zack and Beau reassured me that it was going to be a small repair and no concrete would have to be removed. (Thank god) It was just a clogged pipe due to root build up. It would need to be blasted and some piping replaced.
Thank you so much, you guy's do excellent work for a great price! Highly recommend!!

Buyer Beware of this company. I called Joes on a Saturday morning at 9am due a leaking hot water heater all over my basement. They said they do service on Saturday's, but would charge a $99 premium. I agreed. Person on the phone took the model and specifications and said repair team has a hot water heater ready to install. They said they would arrive by 2pm. At 5pm they show up, with NO MATERIALS. They advised they don't do repairs. They only quote. Can you believe that? A plumber that doesn't fix anything. What a waste of my entire day even though i spent considerable time to prep them for what material was needed (water heater), but still showed up completely unprepared. Advise not to waste time with this company.

We discovered a major problem with our sewer line that needed an immediate repair. Knowing the repairs would be costly, we shopped the job around to multiple companies and ended up choosing Jafco due to their competitive bid, responsiveness and professionalism. I mostly communicated with Dewayne, who had top notch communication and was able to work around our schedule with guests in town. They lined our whole sewer line and got the job done in exactly the amount of time they estimated with the least amount of interruption. The whole process couldn't have been smoother and I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing a new lining.

Affordable, reliable plumbers with all-around excellent service! Daniel identified a significant plumbing issue when I called them for what I thought was a minor leak in my basement. As a newish homeowner I was nervous about filing a claim but he and Louise (Wezee) calmly guided me through the process, referred me to a great restoration company, worked with me on a payment plan, and quickly performed the plumbing repair. Daniel was super helpful and professional, and I'll happily go back to Wezee's for my future plumbing needs.

The tech that came out was very skillful and knowledgeable. He was able to locate our problem in our sewer line, it was dug up and fixed in the same day. Everything was cleaned up and working perfectly. Great company with a very professional staff from start to finish. I definitely recommend them!

They fixed the issue efficiently and left everything spotless. I highly recommend them!

We had a major plumbing problem right before leaving town on a scheduled vacation and Shane saved us from the brink of disaster in the nick of time. He responded quickly and agreed to come out on a weekend at no extra cost whereas other companies were charging a weekend dispatch fee. Our problem was fairly complex and Shane did an excellent job of walking us through the diagnosis and repair, explaining each step of the process, and helping us make educated decisions about how to best address the root issue. His prices were very fair and agreed upon upfront. On top of that, Shane had a great personality. He was friendly, upbeat, and incredibly easy to work with. I really appreciated the fact that his company is individually owned. He provided very personalized service and obviously values trust and communication with his clients. I highly recommend Shane for any plumbing needs!

Joe and his crew did excellent work. He stopped by ahead of time and talked through the job and gave me a quote. He replaced my main line as well as installing a faucet and doing some repairs. When the day came for the install him and his crew did an excellent job. They tunneled under my sidewalk and then trenched my front yard. When they were done my yard still looked great and far better than I expected. I would recommend him with no reservations.

These folks are awesome! I've used a couple different plumbers in the past but Mill Creek Plumbing always impresses me where others don't. I've used Mill Creek plumbing twice (once to replace a PRV and once to replace a run of copper water line under the house) and each time they were courteous, able to schedule an appointment with me quickly, and their bid was very reasonable. I'm no plumber, but I rest assured that their work was done well. If I need plumbing work done again in the future, Mill Creek Plumbing will be my first call.

10 out of 10. I will only use B&J Plumbing. Responsive, clear, honest, and competitive. They installed the water heater in my home, did an amazing, neat, and tidy job. They have since added additional features as I've needed them. I am a demanding customer with very high standards; B&J Plumbing have far exceeded my expectations every time.

A Advanced Septic were wonderful to work with. Jerry and Jeramiah were knowledgeable, professional, and very honest to work with. They were great communicators and were able to fix our septic problem and double checked to make sure things were working properly. Jeramiah came back after our problem was fixed and made double sure things were working properly. These guys are great. I would call them in a minute and recommend them for your septic designs or needs.

A WARNING for first-time home owners and new to the country:
Our water heater broke (July 2021) and we called Beacon plumbing. They showed up within an hour and replaced it for us (within 24 hours), but we ended up paying $1000 (overcharged DOUBLE) more than we would have paid at a Lowes or a Home Depot.
I checked with Lowes (last week, out of curiosity) and they would do the same job for a $1000+ less, if you are willing to wait for a couple of days.
Please stay away from this place if you want to save over a $1000! Go to Lowes or Home Depot instead.

We just bought a condo with three plumbing leaks and a frozen water main. I called four different plumbers on a Saturday and the Plumbing & Drain Company was the only one answered my call to set up a Monday AM appointment. Connor Williams and his fully equipped truck arrived as scheduled at 10:30 AM on Monday, and he worked non-stop until 8:30 PM after everything was fixed to his satisfaction. He was professional, pleasant, thorough, took our concerns into consideration and came up with the best solutions. Connor Williams is our #1 plumber from now on!

I lucked out is about all I can say. After being away from the Seattle homestead for many a moon, I planned to take a shower there yesterday morning. I held my hand in the water to see when it would be warm enough for me to jump in. Well, I waited and waited but it never got warm. I'm thinking, not good.
A quick inspection of the water heater did not reveal any leaks. However the pilot light was out. I knew there was gas flowing because my furnace was on, so I figured the hot water heater had gone to meet its maker.
So what do I do? Of course, I looked up hot water heater on Yelp. Up pops Butterfield Plumbing with a sturdy 4.5 average score over several dozen reviews. That's pretty convincing, so I called Butterfield at 10:00am and a gal on the other end of the phone gave me a noontime appointment for the tech to come out. However, around 10:30, the tech called to say he was in the area and wanted to know if he could come at that time. Of course, I said yes!
A fresh-faced and friendly young man soon appeared at my front door. He was able to quickly diagnose that it was just the thermo-couple that had to be replaced, not the entire water heater. Hallelujah! Within minutes, my hot water heater was once again up and running.
I especially liked that the tech took pains to show me the components inside the water heater and to patiently and carefully explain the diagnosis/repair/payment process. Like I said, I feel really lucky, my hot water heater was fixed within 1.5 hours of placing the initial call (and Butterfield didn't attempt to persuade me to go ahead with the more expensive option of replacing the entire heater).
Oh, and I really liked that the tech had shoe protectors that he was faithful about taking on and off as he entered/exited the house. As a note: Butterfield may have payment plans available, but otherwise, they do expect cash or a check upon completion of work.
In any event, I highly recommend Butterfield!

These guys are expensive but are the only company I could get out to my house to fix a gas leak with my hot water heater. After waiting WEEKS for another company to come back after their initial assessment, Robison came out the day after I called and fixed the leak the same day. Thank you!

We called Beacon to come fix a leak underneath our sink. When they arrived it was also suggested that we replace our faucet since we did have a slow drip. My husband asked the plumber on the phone if he had the same faucet and we were told yes they did. (My husband and I were both at work but my 22 year old daughter was at home to welcome the plumber and and over see the work being done.) She had no clue the plumber would put in such an expensive faucet. He never told her the cost. We were miss led by the faucet replacement. Instead of putting in the same faucet we originally had and were led to believe was what we were getting, the plumber installed a 600.00 faucet!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! Take advantage of an opportunity of trust! We called Customer Service manager Kasen Burris and he was rude, condescending and unsympathetic. We are so disappointed. Bobby Wagner... Think about getting a new sponsor!

Our water heater was done after 20 years and we needed one ASAP! I found Danika on Home Advisor with excellent reviews. I called at 4pm Friday afternoon they were at my house the next day. Ferris and Colin installed our new water heater. They were professional and quick! I initially spoke with Tony. Extremely responsive and genuinely wanted to help. I highly recommend Danika! We now have 75 gallon gas heater (the home was purchased new with a 55 gallon 20 years ago).
