Mike Lashbaugh did an excellent job of plumbing and installing new bathroom cabinets. He always arrived on time and cleaned up perfectly. Very professional.

A few days after installing my cabinets in our home, We had a water leak issue in our condo. Mike was great at diagnosing the source of the problem to allow the Water Mitigation company to define the root cause of the leak to communicate to the insurance companies.  Excellent work.

I scheduled Danika to come out and give a quote/fix a leaking toilet. I was given a two-hour window during which the plumber would arrive. Ten minutes before the end of the window, I received a text saying the plumber was on the way. An hour later, still no one had arrived, and no one replied to my text inquiring if they were still coming.

There was a truck outside our house that turned out to be the plumber's apprentice, but he couldn't do anything without the plumber. We gave up and sent him away. Never did get a reply to my text.

I was so impressed with the quick and friendly response I received from Danika Plumbing! We were in the middle of a family reunion, at our house, when we had a flood in the garage! Yikes!!
Travis was sent out to get the job done and he most certainly did do that and he also went above and beyond to help me out!! Hard work and a fair price and the celebration was saved!! I would highly recommend Danika Plumbing and their amazingly talented Travis!

Freeze damage on exterior pipe resulting in flooded basement. Doc came out and was courteous, explained everything, gave a quote, fixed everything...and I will forever call Doc for any plumbing/water issues. Thank you!

Hot water valve broke and wouldn't shut off. The only positive thing about the situation is that they, Danika, responded to the situation quickly.
The pipes weren't leaking, no cracked solder. Nothing. Just a bad valve. A REMOVABLE VALVE, $20+/- at LOWES. Foreshadowing.

Instead of merely replacing one or both REPLACABLE VALVE STEMS/cartridges they decided to replace the entire manifold and valves. WHY???!! TO F*CK THE CUSTOMER OVER AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

They decided to cut-open the backing wall to access and cap the hot water line because the parts were too old, they don't make 'em any more. THEY'RE REPLACABLE VALVES!!!!!! WHICH COULD'VE BEEN REMOVED from the shower/handle side, no wall cutting needed!!

They left almost no border on the corner side and bottom edge of UNNECESSARY ACCESS HOLE!!  ANNNND after the new and UNNECESSARY manifold was installed, they didn't reinstall ANY new bracing for the new manifold/valves (the old manifold was firmly braced and all that bracing was cut-out during repair) so now the whole assembly flexes around noticeably, SUPPORTED ONLY BY THE PLUMBING ITSELF!!

Either the plumbers were COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT OR 100% DISHONEST!!

What the hell happened to pride of workmanship?!

I can understand $500 extra for the emergency call, but $2,200.00 for the repair shown is unacceptable.

I'd give them -5  if I could.

This company said they would do an estimate for 90 dollars, but if we hired them they would pay us that money back or not have us pay that 90 at all and we would just pay for the work.

Next thing is, my wife walked away for a moment and then they said the just fixed it without asking or providing an estimate or telling us what was wrong.   Ended up pay over 450 dollars that first day (and they kept the 90 dollars!) they came by and they didn't actually fix anything.  We still had no hot water and no explanation of what was wrong.

Then after a week and a half of being on the phone with them, they made us order a part from Rheem and they tried to trick us into saying that Rheem will pay for the labor later but we have to pay them another 400+ dollars for the next fix.  Then the plumber who was a total shit was trying to con us in so many different ways and spitting out one lie after another.  I finally had to kick him out of my house as he was the most unprofessional worker I have ever seen.

Never touch this company, never think about this company.  They do not exist and it is not a real company.  If you like throwing your money into a fire, do that instead because at least it is warm.

If there was zero stars I would use it.  This is the worst company I have ever seen.   They are liars and con-artists.  If you find yourself in a situation where you have to use them, do not leave them alone and make sure you get everything in writing.  They will cheat you out of money left and right and not fix anything.  Also, extremely unprofessional and they use attrition to wear you down and make you pay in an endless loop.   They will recommend bad heaters and then over-charge you when you need it fixed.

I don't normally leave reviews on Yelp, but for this company I felt it was very important to provide my experience.

Travis did an amazing job installing a new electric tank WH for us. Our old electric tankless had a few parts that went bad. He was able to do the entire job in about 2 hours and was kind enough to open some space for us there as there is shelving blocking the area left by the old owner.

All in all everything went smooth and I'm very satisfied with the service Travis and the entire Danika Plumbing team provided. They gave us a very competitive quote, where as other plumbers were trying to charge me almost double.

Danika Plumbing and their owner Frank, we're very upfront, transparent, and very fair with me which I really appreciated as a customer.

I highly recommend this company (especially Travis) to anyone looking for plumbing work.

We hired Tony from Danika Plumbing for several different plumbing projects at our new home; new toilets, installing a water heater, new water main shutoff, and shower trim. We trust his expertise and appreciate the detailed work he does to make sure the project gets done. We highly recommend Tony!

UPDATE: requested a call from owner to discuss. He has never returned my call. He finally replied to my poor review on Thumbtack saying plumbing is professional work that requires a lot of training to justify this rip off. Talk about mansplaining. I've called several other plumbing companies in the area and their fee to install a new toilet INCLUDING THE STOP VALVE is $250-350 plus parts. The stop valve is under $10.
This company ripped me off. They charged $299 to install a new toilet in a newer, redone bathroom (4 years prior). I supplied the new toilet. Travis said he had to replace the stop valve because it was leaking (it wasn't prior to his installing the new toilet) and added an additional $225 to do this because it WAS A NEW WORK ORDER. Total to install the new toilet and stop valve was over $600 with me supplying the toilet.

The plumber came and was supposed to firstly give a quote of the plumbing issue so that we can decide whether we proceed. Instead they came and fixed two issue and they charged us for both not leaving any options. Additionally the company charges per fix and not per hour (the overall work was pretty simple and took less than hour). Very unprofessional of the company, wouldn't recommend.

Average. Instalation was fine. For a standard toilet install they needed to see the job. Unfortunately, my husband was home and he gave them the green light. It was 30% more expensive than other quotes. The technitian did not haul away all of the toilet, leaving the top and the lid even though haul away was part of the cost. Additionally, he proceeded to tell us what a poor choice we made in choosing our toilet (a kohler). Not sure what his angle was there. He was also trying to get us to show him our flash heater to make sure that we were maintaing it properly. The experience was sub par. Again, the work was fine, but I would not call Danika again.

Hired them based on the Home Depot referral program to replace a kitchen faucet. They charged $500 for a one hour (or less) job. When I called to talk with the owner about their pricing, he wasn't available.  I never got a return call. I won't be using them again.

Stay far away from this company. As I understand they use contractors. When they did my project it was a complete cluster. We had a clog under our house.  About 5' in. In their infinite wisdom they decided to put two unneeded clean outs into a 70 year old plumbing system so they could do an inspection.Though two other companies were able to inspect through the the clean out in the street. Apparently they didn't know how to properly use their camera.  I was told they would repair the problem and they didn't. They charged me over $6000 for these two needless clean outs and never repaired the problem. I would not use them again if they were the only plumbers in Seattle. Stay far away!

Danika plumbing went above and beyond! Losing hot water over Christmas during one of the worst cold periods in a decade is tough. The team did a fine job under difficult conditions to replace the water heater at a very fair rate and with excellent customer service. This is the company I will call in the future whenever needed.

Thanks to Danika and their team!

We had a flooding event in our only bathroom because of a clogged drain.  We hired Danika Plumbing through Angi's website.  We described the problem and assumed that Danika would complete the job in a time-sensitive manner.

Danika assessed the job on a Thursday afternoon and said they would need to return on Friday.  On Friday, they did some preliminary work, but were unable to complete the job.  They assured us that their sub-contractor, who would have the proper tools, would call us Saturday morning. This was now stretching into Day 3.  For this unfinished job, Danika charged us $561.64.

After failing to receive a phone call from the sub-contractor or Danika on Saturday, or to have my calls to them picked up, we informed Danika that we were hiring a different plumber to complete the job.  We were fortunate to find a plumber on short notice who could complete the job on a Saturday.  We were happy that our problem was fixed, but not happy that we had to pay two different plumbers.

Our dissatisfaction with Danika is that they were not equipped to complete the job on the first or even second day.  With only one bathroom, we needed a plumber that had everything they would need to complete the job in one visit.

We spoke with a representative at Danika to negotiate an adjustment to the amount paid for a job that was not completed.  We were told that a manager would call us, but we never heard back.

We also worked with Angi to negotiate an adjustment for Danika's work, using Angi's Happiness Guarantee, but that was a joke.  It was a waste of time and effort, not to mention money.  We will not be using Angi again.

Service integrity/warranty issues.  in one line, dont trust words and ensure that everything they say is actually covered in written in warranty, more imp, go to someone else.
note this was first plumbing experience for us.

They asked us to buy the one of the internal parts for shower instead of purchasing themselves. 'This was a trick'.  the part was ~$60, plumbing cost was around 1000 that  then became more than 2000. they gave us a build.com link and pushed us to buy the part instead of buying themselves (so that they don't have to worry about the warranty, which we realized later).
this is what bit us. the part unfortunately ended up being faulty. so the shower did not work. but since the installation was fully done, they said that we have to pay plumbing charges twice as faulty part was not their fault. so we agreed to pay as by this time we just wanted our shower to work.
when it came to the warranty, they changed their words that they never asked us to order as they already have all the parts. and all I can share is, for me to order something so complicated that i have never seen in my life, I need to have a good plumbing experience:
we realized that this was their trick very late. they asked us to order same part again, then said, this time they will cover in warranty but when the job was done, they turned on us.
We ended up paying twice the amount because of their mistakes. we learnt that if we had just known that they have all the parts and this is just their way to get out of warranty,  then we would have pushed them to  get the parts. I am very disappointed with their service and hostility. I would highly recommend anyone to think twice as they cheated. asking us once could have been a mistake, but twice is called cheating.

Danika plumbing came to remove our old toilets and re-install 2 new ones that we purchased. We decided to use a service rather than doing it ourselves because hauling the old toilets away was a huge pain. I called ~5 companies and Danika had the best quote.

They called me to schedule, and were able to come the next day. They also called right before arriving. Once they were here, they walked me through what they were going to do. Their communication was top notch every step of the way, from initial scheduling to final payment.

The 2 guys who came to do the work were super friendly and respectful of the house. They also worked so quickly, and did such an amazing job even managing to caulk the downstairs bathroom with the slightly wonky floor! They also explained that they left part of the caulking open at the back so that if water ever starts over-flowing, we'll be able to see the water seep out and know there's a problem, vs. if they had caulked it 100% around the toilet, then the water might leak into the floor and eventually the downstairs. Really awesome.

There's a 4% processing fee if you pay by card, no fee if you pay with cash and check. I actually chose to pay the processing fee because it ended up being worth it for the credit card points that I got.

Cory did great job on repair and explained everything well but the service was super expensive. During the initial sales call they refused to provide quote. I had talked to other plumber companies and got quote but they all gave me late evening appointment. I went ahead with Danika as they gave early slot but plumber came 3 hrs late and quoted double price. I had emergency so ended up paying off for peace of mind. I would not hire them in future.

Tony responded to my house due to a leak in my water pipe. As were asking him about how to figure out the leak....the next thing I know some other company is there to cut the sheet rock because Tony says Danika doesn't do that?

What kind of plumber can't find a leak?

The guys who came out after we actually did find the leak did a fine job replacing the leaky pipe.

My advice is don't listen to Tony (he'll just cost you more money).  He kept telling me it would be an insurance claim because the work would cost 5-6k. 2k later the job was done. 1k was Tony cost because a second company got involved.

If I were you, I'd just tell Tony to send out the actual plumbers.  They do fine once they're on site.

First they lost the tub surround, then they lost tub. Then brought out different tub for $600 more and said take it or leave it. Did not test their work and the drain leaked and had to come back out to repair. Left big mess with puddles and did not install per instructions.

They stopped by, gave me an estimate of 530$ to replace a hose bibb (costs 40$ at Home Depot) and when I said I will ask around, charged me 102$ for just showing their pretty faces (I swear they did not even touch anything)! I asked what is breakdown of 530$ and they said Parts + Labor + Warranty. I asked how much does hose Bibb cost - Answer: not sure I just picked up from the shelf. I asked what if I don't want warranty on something like hose Bibb (my last one lasted 20 years), Answer - you have to get it. I was able to get the work done by another plumber the same day for 175$, who installed exact same hose bibb (matched the brand and model of hose bibb character by character)!

The guy that came in started up-selling for other things that weren't broken (but needed fix according to them) - cost about 1,000+$.

While scheduling - I said I come home after 5:00 - they said, after 5 we charge more! I said weekends works? They said, you got it but we charge more.. they said, keep cash ready, because credit cards, we again charge 4% more (your convenience, your money - choice is yours)...

Here is how they work. You call them to schedule an appointment, they give you 2 hour window in core working hours (so you have to disturb work), they don't give you any estimate on phone (not even ballpark to save you trouble), and says their people need to come see what needs fixing (even if you say what it is), but hey if they come and you don't like the estimate they will charge $100+ just to tap couple times on iPad, if you like our estimate which is hundreds of dollars more than other plumbers for the same job, they will be gracious enough not to charge you that 100$. What a saving!

Complete rip off. Don't hire, look for options.

Very bad experience with this plumbing company. Schedule to come on 2pm but showed up to my door around 2:30pm. That's Half an hour late, without any apologies. Came in to my house without wearing any shoe covers. Not professional at all...
The plumber asks me what happened. I told him it's my hose bib issue. The plumber just took it as the cause, not even trying to investigate if there is any other pipe leaking. The the plumber replace my hose bib for a new one, charging that new bib for almost $550. Took away my old hose without even asking. I search around online later that day and found out that for these kind of hose bit you can get only at$200, tops. Pretty not happy with my last experience.

We called Danika just randomly to get someone to look at our kitchen floor that was water logged from a leak( from the dishwasher )
A foot of snow and the plumbers were out to our house within an hour. Dustin was very professional and his helper was great too.
After everything was patched they called Abraham to come out and assess the damage to our floor.
Dustin said he will be here for us day or night to call him if we have any problems
I will recommend your company to anyone. It is hard to find good service and your company went above and beyond. Thank you. Gina and Matt Dunn

I've used Danika a couple times over the past few years. The first time was a toilet replacement that went fine. My most recent experience was quite poor, and I wouldn't use them again. I called Danika to unclog my kitchen sink. During the process of unclogging, they incorrectly inserted the snake above the cleanout, which likely caused the pipe crack that they then discovered there. They then charged me a high fee to repair the crack that they likely caused, nor were they able to clear the clog. They promised to call back with a quote for the next step but never did. So overall, I paid over $1,200 and spent hours of time to be back where I started, and they didn't follow up to help me fix the problem. Another plumber with better tools came out and fixed the clog in 15 minutes for a reasonable price.

I had a couple of leaking Mansfield toilets upstairs, and I had tried to fix one of them myself.  I'm pretty handy - but the one in the guest bedroom just wouldn't stop running!!!

Called Danika, and Dustin came over this afternoon.  I showed him the guest room one first, and he said a plain old flapper would be better, and maybe that newfangled thing I had on there was the cause, because the tank was only half full. ...it wouldn't stay all the way full!!!

Dustin quoted me $265/toilet off the top of his head, but then he started talking man-to-man, about how I should just replace both of them.  So we talked about the cost, and it was sounding in the ballpark of around $700 to do both, and he was convinced I should just replace them both.

He stepped outside to write up an estimate so that I could compare.  Somehow that $265/toilet turned into $625 for both.  But if I went to the home store and bought my own toilets, he would install them both for $425.  Gosh.. that sounded tempting, but it would have left me with no toilets upstairs for a few days, while I went through all that hassle.

So I'm thinking to myself:  I only really need one, and he could fix that NOW!!  So I opted to just fix one - which he wrote up as $325 (interesting math).

Well, he fixed my one, using the standard flapper that I had already purchased (see, I was in the middle of a whole-house toilet overhaul...), and a replacement valve, which was actually pretty nice.

Tested it out.. great!!  Final bill $457 - ...$325 service charge + $85 labor + tax.

But here's the kicker... after he left, I went back and looked at the guest room toilet, and finally figured out why it was only filling halfway, even with the flapper.  See - I had stuffed the filler tube down into the overflow tube, and it was siphoning off to halfway down.  Go figure!!!

Awesome!  So, I removed the flapper, put the newfangled flapper deal back on (those things are EXCELLENT!!!), and clipped the filler tube properly to the top of the overflow tube (gosh, I wonder if Dustin had one of those clips in his truck?).  Done deal - no more running, and perfect flushes, with no tangled chains or other nonsense!!!

Onto the upstairs toilet he fixed:  Replaced the flapper with newfangled flapper #2... THAT toilet fixed and perfect!!!

Lastly, the downstairs toilet which has never really worked quite right for newfangled flapper #3.  That toilet now perfect too!!!

What a great day!  I'm only out $457, instead of $400+$425+service charge + tax for new toilets I didn't need and another week of waiting (and a warranty on the one he fixed).

On the way out, Dustin said be sure to leave a review on Yelp, and be honest.   So here it is.  Thanks Dustin!!

Like another review, i found these guys on Thumbtack. They were the first to respond.
I needed someone to install a new faucet, a new garbage disposal, hook up them up with the dishwasher, and adjust the pipes as our new sink is deeper than our previous one.

Tony was great throughout the entire process. Tony was very understanding when i was late to our estimate session.  During the assessment he explained what he would do, how much it would cost, and the time frame.

Tony's quote was 1/3 of the quote from another company.  The other guy justified his price by saying he would need to tear apart everything and start from scratch.  Nothing he said was in Tony's assessment.

Needless to say, Tony came and performed the installations at his quoted price and even accommodated my schedule by coming in and finishing early in order for me to attend a last minute work meeting.  Their prices may have been on the higher side but i didn't mind as i received excellent customer service, communication, along with timely and accurate service.

Found these guys through thumbtack.com.  These guys were the first to respond to my request.  They were able to be out in 2 days to give a bid, and then came back the next day to the do the job.

I had a gas line hooked up to an existing splitter and put through a wall with a valve for hooking up a gas stove.  The line only had to go about 6-8'.  I had gotten some ballpark bids from a couple other plumbers over the phone (including my usual guy) and these guys were right in the same price point.  The biggest thing for me was all the other guys were 1-3 weeks out and these guys were available quick.  Not sure if they'll always be that available, but the work was good, they were professional, and the price was average (didn't gouge me, and as they say cheap labor aint good and good labor aint cheap).

I had work done by Danika Plumbing LLC on the morning of 5/6/19. Dustin was the lead, not sure of the assistant's name.

Issue: My washing machine drain pipe was clogged in a house I purchased and another plumber had failed to clear it. Ahead of Danika coming, I had already opened up the wall to expose the pipes (exposing multiple code violations).

Timeliness: Window was 8-10am, they called at 8am with an ETA and arrived at 9am and left at noon. (There were two earlier reschedules, one my fault and one theirs when a job ran over.) I appreciated both not getting an early call in case I was still asleep and getting the call with an ETA.

Process: Dustin gave me options throughout as job progressed and we learned more about the circumstances. In the end, after snaking and opening the pipes to run a camera, we decided to cut out clogged pipe and rebuild (which also fixed a couple structural issues with the pipes) plus hydro-jet the residue out of the pipe below. It was a fairly tough rebuild and Dustin was able to fix a few additional issues with the plumbing. When additional work was required, Dustin was clear about what he was doing that was included, what expanded the scope, and what that would do to the price. I though this was great and worked in my favor.

Price: A little over $2k, after tax. This was my first major plumbing job and I didn't get competing bids.

Professionalism: There was a mistake the assistant made that Dustin handled very professionally in front of me.

Recommendations:
- Get the first slot in the morning to make sure your job isn't bumped.
- If all you want is a quote, be clear. There will be a fee, which is fair as there is time and thought that goes into the job (the fee is discounted against the job, should you use them later). I'd originally just wanted a quote but since Dustin was ready to roll and I wanted the job done, we dove in.
- Crew didn't have shoe covers, put down a rug.
- Be explicit about whether you want the work permitted.

Minus a star for not discussing permitting until I mentioned it, not being proactive about protecting the carpet, and the first reschedule.

tl;dr - Loved that I had options throughout. Dustin was thoughtful, professional, and worked confidently to deliver the solution I wanted. I would work with Danika Plumbing again.

Overall, a very good plumbing experience. I had a gas line run to our kitchen and the job was completed quickly and we'll. Dustin took the time to check out the hot water heater and found something our house inspector missed that we will have fixed in the coming weeks. -1 star because the price of the estimate did not count towards the cost of the job since the two were not done on the same day. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done.

Dustin did an excellent job repairing a broken drain line in our sewer grinder pump system.  He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and worked quickly. Best of all was available immediately, even over the weekend.  He also took the time to explain to me how my pump system worked which I really appreciated.

Everyone I spoke to at this company was very friendly and helpful and dedicated to getting my issue fixed immediately.  I would certainly hire them again and I highly recommend this company.

Stay clear!!!!!!  They will overcharge anyone that they can.  Here is a typical situation.  My renters had a clogged sewer.  I was not able to respond, so I asked them to call someone in the area.  They first off misled by their add saying they were local, which they weren't.  They came out and said they had to take remove the toilet to be able to snake the drain.  They obviously said that is fine.  That alone they ended up charging $391 plus tax for. Just to pull and replace the toilet. Not to replace the toilet, just put the original toilet back.  Let me remind you, that is a 10 minute job!  If that doesn't alone tell you they are out to screw their customers, you really don't need to read any further.  I challenge you; call any other reputable plumber and ask them how much they would charge for that service!!!  Likely $50, or less, maybe not even charge for it since they were doing the work and it actually makes their job easier.  Well to clear the line the total bill was over $1840.  They absolutely took advantage of the helpless renter.  The call took them less than 2 hours, including writing up the bill.  You do the math!  If you use this company, you will be a bigger fool than my renter was.  This company has not heard the last of me.  I am totally fine paying a fair price, but I will not lay down and get screwed! And I certainly will do whatever I can not to let others get screwed by this company.

Great company, I needed a water heater replaced in my house and Jordan not only got the job done fast, his price was a lot cheaper than two other bids I got.

They're professional and nice but they charge way too much. My aunt has a rental property in the area that I help to manage for her and the renters complained of a clogged bathtub. I figured it would be an easy snake job so scheduled Danika to come out. They got there and diagnosed that they needed to do a simple snake. They tried to call me but I was still asleep so they reached out to my aunt and got her CC info. After the tech told her he was going to charge her $400+ she told him that she wanted to talk to me first. Not sure what happened after that but he ended up running her card and completed the job.

My water heater went out and DANIKA came through. This happened during the Christmas holiday time as well, and I couldn't be more thankful. Not only was the price better than all the companies I quoted from, but Jacky's customer service was amazing. Highly suggest these guys and definitely plan on reaching out for all my plumbing needs.

I would never call this company again.  I had a particular problem because the people that remodeled my condo put a built in shelf four inches above the toilet tank.  I didn't even notice it until the tank set broke. I actually didn't get it fixed for over a month because I didn't know what to do.  Danika came and the plumber at first said he could get in there and fix it, then he said he had to go back to the shop because the tank set he had wasn't working right. He came back and told me it would be over $400 to fix it, then he left a second time and when he returned he said he would have to remove the tank to fix it and it would cost over $600.  When he left, he left a mess in my bathtub and on the floor.  You would think for what they charge they could clean up after themselves.  The plumber was very friendly and nice, but the company really took advantage of me.  I am a senior citizen and I am sick and tired of contractors.  Can you imagine?  $600 to replace a tank set.

Dustin was great.  He came out on Saturday afternoon to replace our entire water heater system.  He was friendly and knowledgeable.  He swapped out old water heater and put in a new one.  Everything looked neat and tidy afterwards.  I would use them again.

This review should come as no surprise to Danika plumbing.  They opt'd not to acknowledge my phone calls.  Oh wait, they were fine communicating with me when they thought i was going to use them again to do my fireplace gas line.  Nothing but crickets when i have questions on a similar job they already did for my stove.

Basically, I have a water heater that uses gas on a 1/2 line.  I decided to have a gas stove and fireplace.  So I call Danika Plumbing as well as other plumbing companies, to get a quote.  Tony knew full well what existing line i had and what my future plans were for an additional line.  We even discussed the need 3/4 line. The math on the three appliances screams for a 3/4 inch line and that is what i thought he installed in my house.

He quoted me a price a little over 6 hundred.  Some how that price went up to 749 by the time the job was done.  No explanation on why.  This company did not test the line nor do any of the permit work. As a matter of fact there was no mention of getting a permit so this work would be approved.  I arranged that on my own.  That knocked down another star.

Fast forward to fireplace install date.  The installers look at the existing line and the t install.
Surprise surprise. its a 1/2 line.  Everyone is scratching their head trying to figure out why tony installed 1/2 when clearly 3/4 was called for.  I asked if there was a price difference between the two.  And found out not really its the same amount of work just a bigger pipe for the gas to go through.  Keeping in mind, tony was expecting me to call him to come back out and do the fireplace line and he was going to charge between 750 and 800.  The fireplace installers charged a little under 300 and only took maybe 25 mins to do it.

This man is vastly over priced and not truthful.  He took advantage of someone that was not knowledgeable in the gas/plumbing area.  But I am now.  I will be calling puget sound energy to check his work.   Oh And he is one of those plumbers that don't call back when you find issues with his work.

I'm glad i got 2nd and 3rd opinions.  Lessons learned for me.  I get 5 or 6 quotes for work now.  This company is definitely off my list and i made sure to spread the word where i could.

Danika Plumbing came to me highly recommended and I'm so glad to finally have found a plumber on hand that does great work in a timely matter at a reasonable price with great customer service!  Jordan from Danika Plumbing is very respectful and highly proficient at locating and repairing existing plumbing leaks.  So, now that I have found a plumber whom I can trust I don't have to panic the next time I have a plumbing emergency.

We had a potential water heater issue and were on a tight time crunch. Reached out to Danika and were very impressed with the quick response. Jordan and Dustin arrived within hours of the initial contact (very impressive for this industry). Very professional and no up-sale. Would highly recommend as their price to troubleshoot and repair was very reasonable and competitive. Will use them in the future for plumbing needs.

Tonia just left me with a basement soaking in ground water. She just hung up on me. Said she didn't want to talk about this any more, when I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get things to work out when the other guys didn't show up to do their jobs. Wow. Great problem solver. Currently the basement is soaking in ground water.  Bill, was to come find city line today. Plumber is supposed to install a sump pump 8am tomorrow. The leak specialist just called, he said he lost his phone last night, so couldn't make it to the appointment today. Really?   I called Danika - Tonia again (she says she's only the dispatcher and knows nothing about schedules) to find out how I was going to get the investigation done before the install. How am I going to make it work.  And then she said I don't want to talk to you about this anymore... I said what and she said again I'm not going to talk about this anymore. AND HUNG UP. DANIKA HUNG UP ON ME WHILE I HAVE A BASEMENT SOAKING IN GROUND WATER AND THEIR GUYS DIDN'T SHOW UP.  I canceled the water damage specialist business on behalf of how I was treated by Tonia. What an awful person. Who works for an emergency plumbing company and then hangs up on someone dealing with their company referral failures, and a soaking basement. WOW. NEVER EVER will use DANIKA or refer anyone to DANIKA again because I refuse my money or anyone else's to pay for an employee like that. I wonder how much business DANIKA has lost because of her.

I bought a water heater & paid for Lowes to install it. They subcontracted the work to Danika Plumbing. I was very happy with the work they did, and the two men who fid the installation were polite and courteous. The water heater is working perfectly, so no issues there. And they laid down a few clean tarps to collect the rusty water that came out when they moved it, and kept my floors clean. Which I really appreciated. I had a plumber once track mud throughout the entire house and touch the walls and even lace curtains with filthy hands. So I really appreciated the extra effort they took to be clean, without me having even asked.

I contacted Danika via Thumbtack and left a review there. Dan M. responded to my review but I cannot respond to his response. As such, I am responding here.

Feedback:
I'd leave 0 stars if i could. I needed a very simple leak fixed on a hot water supply line for the washing machine. I would have done this myself but I needed it done by a licensed plumber per agreement of a purchase/sale agreement to sell this home. I got a call from someone @ Danika (I'm sure this was Dan) and i explained the situation. I told them i had installed a new shut off but there was a very minor drop of water that showed at the connection. He asked in a very condescending tone - 'what do you want us to do?' So i politely explained that i need a professional to make it stop leaking. I ended up agreeing to the $59 service charge but i had explained very clearly what the issue was and the guy i spoke with said if it was something they could fix within a few minutes of getting there then the $59 charge would cover it. But they also had a $40/15 minute rate so i figured it would be $99 max. No big deal. The guys that showed up were very polite and helpful. The plumber said it would take a few minutes to remove the old shut off and install a new one. Then he said he wanted $225 to do it. I knew the replacement part was only a few bucks so I let him know that i wasnt about to pay over $600/hour for this fix. I called the guy that i had spoken to in the morning and he was a total prick. I apologized to they plumbers but asked them to leave and they were very helpful (giving me tips on how to fix it) and apologetic for the a-hole on the phone. I had another plumber out to the house within 45 minutes and he fixed the leak with teflon tape and pipe dope for half the price this guy wanted. And the price was clear up front.

Response:
Dan M. from Danika Plumbing & Contracting replied to this review on February 8, 2016:
There seems to be a mix up with another contractor. Much of what is said simply was not us.

Um.... I sitting here looking at your business card with Pau's name and phone number. I called two plumbers. You were the abrasive one who scheduled your guys to come out and the other, legitimate plumber, fixed my problem. So nice try with the lame response.  I'm sure you remember the conversation unless you have so many unhappy customers you can't keep track.

The funny thing is....your guys left without asking for the $59. They could have stayed for another 10 mins, fixed the problem and left with $100 for 10 minutes worth of work. Makes no sense.

Not all superheroes wear capes! Some wear grey Danika polis and take their shoes off at the front door! These guys were great! They come in a fixed a problem 4 other plumbers couldn't fix. If j ever have any more plumbing issues, they will be my first call. They were respectful and clean. They took a little extra time to explain to me what the problem was and how they'd be fixing it.

Pau and Jackie came out to help us today. They were fantastic! They walked me through how to get some things done all by myself so that I don't have to spend big money every time we have a plumbing problem. They were very honest and straightforward about their pricing. I contacted them first via email, and I got quick responses to set up an appointment. They've saved us a lot of money. I'll definitely be calling them the next time we need help on a big job.

Don't use this company at all.  I would give them Minus Ten Stars if I could.  Their Plumber who happens to be the owner or one of the owners came to my home to inspect a small water leakage in the backyard.   During the process of inpecting the leakage, he decided , this was coming from the water heater and the water heater needed to be replaced.    When we showed him the Warranty documents that we had on our heater, he told us that these are the wrong documents.  So, he managed to shut our hot water on his own and leaving us without hot water.  In addition, he charged us over $380.00 for his inspection and for another small job that took him five minutes to do.  We had hot water in the home before he came to our home and we did not after he left.  When we called the Warranty company, they told us that these are the correct documents and that the heater is under warranty but that guy was trying to sell us one that we don't need.  In addition, when the Warranty company sent their Plumber two days later to our home, they discoverd that the tank is fine and other parts need to be replaced.  They did the repairs in two hours and we got the hot water back and the leakage has stopped in the bankyard.  We ended up paying them after paying RW Plumbing for work they did not do and also for leaving us without hot water for Two Days.   We called several times asking if they can refund us the money they charged us for the heater since he did not get it fixed, he refusted to do so and he told me that he was in my home for two hours and he needs to charge me.  This guy is abusing the Plumbing Licensing System and charging me just for showing up and damaging my water heater..?  He told me that we have called him many times regarding the heater and how he was out late the night before in a Party..??   This guy left us without hot water when we had the hot water and the heater was in a good working condtion before he showed up to my home.   Don't use this guy or this company for any work.  He charges you for showing up as if he is an Attorney or a Doctor ...?   then he charges for screwing our water heater and leaving us without hot water for days.    Don't use this company or this guy.
