Responsive communication, fair price, excellent work and super flexible with all the curve balls that came our way during the project. So lucky to have an expert like Justin guiding us through the big projects we had.

As a bonus they have a nice modern billing system that made it really easy.

Jeff Driscoll is the founder of Stellar Plumbing, and his company has handle projects both big and small for my Kirkland home.

-- Underground pipe leak. September of last year one of my main pipes sprang a leak which manifested on my water bill as a 600% increase in usage. In the course of about a week Jeff was able to assess the situation, advise a solution, handle the city regulations as well as locate, dig and replace the damaged pipe, and correctly feed it into the garage(something that the original owner poorly set up). The cost was reasonable, and the new pipes he installed offered years of maintenance-free operation.

-- Household leaks. Jeff fixed a toilet leak and sink faucet replacement that I try to do on my own, but was left half completed for nearly a year. He correctly handled it in about half an hour, and reassured me that my dabbling didn't cause any notable damage.

The work on both occasions was excellent. The meticulouslessness and care that goes into the actual work, comes through in conversation. Jeff walked me through the options available in a straight forward and easy to follow manner where I felt informed and educated about the calls I would make. I recommend Stellar Plumbing without reservation to handle your complete plumbing needs.

Just had him come out to replace the main line valve.  Estimate over the phone was accurate and work was well done.  Replaced my toilet hardware as well.  Clean and trustworthy.  Will definitely use them again.

I can't rave enough about this company! I've had 2 plumbing issues in the past few years. I had other companies bid the jobs. None were as competitive, honest and responsive as Jay Frees. I will no longer call for bids. Moving forward it will be one call to Above Plumbing and Jay Frees. A+++

Great service! Friendly, quick & old school West Seattle.  Price was beyond fair!  Nice to now have a guy for that!  Replaced our corroded kitchen drain line & we are very happy!

I hired maple valley plumbing and after invoicing simply had some questions. As a property manager I have to make sure my clients are taken care of and I needed clarification. I was told never to call him again and he proceeded to hang up on my and block me. I truly have no idea why and what I did to offend him so badly.

I'm torn between a 3 and 4 star review.  We had them do a septic decommission​ and hookup to the ​sewer.  Their price was good, not the cheapest but on the cheaper side, but they had recently done our neighbor's​ house so we went with them.  Overall I would say I would go with them again.  Collin was very responsive and easy to work with.  From what I can tell so far, the sewer hookup has been fine and is working and we aren't having any plumbing issues so very good stuff there.  That said, there were a few issues.  One issue, our yard is a rocky muddy, uneven disaster.  I'm not sure if that is common with this work or if people usually clean that up, but right now it is a mess and I don't think I can do much about it until the spring.  They also broke my firepit.  Collin took the cost of replacement off of the bill, but I would have appreciated it if they told me about it before they left instead of ignoring it.  Maybe they didn't notice, but nobody said anything, I noticed it the next day. There was also a little bit of stuff, like not fully cleaning up, they used some bricks that I had to secure their trailer, no problem, but they didn't put them back where they came from.  The removed some solar lights and didn't put them back.  So just some nitpicky details that, if executed on would have made this a 4 star.

Erik is the type of plumber I like-- hes doing his own thing, he doesnt work from a pricing book and hes realistic about the work-- he fixed a leaky pipe in our crawlspace and did the work fast and without a lot of back and forth.  I will use him for all of our plumbing issues.

Prompt at appointment time and got the sewer clean out done very quickly. Would strongly recommend.

Be very careful before signing a contract. I had a serious plumbing project and Mr. R charged me for not fulfilling their job, they use illegal materials and overcharge 100%. Call the city and go over the contract to make sure they are not dubious regarding materials including ensure if they touch your sewer they call your public works. Angie's list is much more reassuring!

I called them yesterday about a sticky bathroom faucet I had - they gave me a flat price to replace it and showed up right on time the very next day.  Guy was super nice and professional, checked out the sink and went right to work.  Cleaned up after he was done - everything is perfect.  Price was very fair, service was very fast, and I didn't have to clean up anything.

I have used Elvis and his team for a few years and they have always done a great job!   As a real estate broker, I have referred him to many clients and needed him on various jobs.  They are always timely, professional, friendly and reasonably priced! I highly recommend Tech City Plumbing!

We've used this service for two sewer scopes at different houses. Excellent service and professionalism. Thorough and efficient work completed. Would recommend to anyone needing a sewer scope.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I am really impressed with this company!  Ben was a true professional, and arrived when he said he would. He found our leak within minutes, and advised us on what we should do next. It's so nice  to know that there are still companies that really care about their customer. If we ever need this service again, we will definitely call American Leak Detection!

They were fantastic to work with.  Communicated with me including updates as the team were on their way.  Affordable.  We're not trying to upsel me.

We've had Price Busters come out to quote work twice. Both times they were reasonably priced and very professional. The first time we didn't have them do the work because they were booked out a week and it was a bit of an emergency. This time they came out, did the quote and the work the same day. The person who owns this is doing a scam. Promise on things and never fulfill those. Please don't fall for it. The person is not reliable at all. Better go somewhere else rather than waste time and money into this scam.

The worst experience I've ever had with a company.    Scheduled a 10-12 appointment for today (Monday) last Thursday.  This morning at 8am they called to confirm.  I did not see or hear from anyone after that.  I called at 2pm for an eta they told me they would let dispatch know and get back to me.  Nobody got back to me.  Called back at 4 and talked to Julie at dispatch.  She told me I was next up whatever that means and assured me she would get back to me.  Julie never got back to me.  I just called and told them IF they had someone on the way to cancel it (it's 6:20).  Good part of a Monday wasted by terrible business practices and being strung along.  Combine this with the other bad reviews this company should be avoided as there are better options.

Edit: it's now 7:45 and Julie left me a voicemail just now saying they wouldn't be able to make it out today.  I don't know what's worse the fact that I was led to believe I was going to get service at all today or the fact there is a total disconnect going on at southwest plumbing.  I called an hour and a half ago out of courtesy (something they are struggling with) to make sure not to send anybody out.  This is pathetic.

They came out to do a camera scope of my sewer lines and quoted 20-40K for repair/replace.  Asked for the video of my $500 scope so I could just get a second opinion before spending that kind of money and they reminded me I did not ask for a video before they scoped?  Be sure to always be thinking ahead of the professionals who don't even ask/offer the option!
