This is my first ever Yelp review and I decided to write my honest review for After Hour Services.

My kitchen sink has been stuck for more than 12 hrs. I tried different methods for 5 hrs but still couldn't get it resolved.

After Hours Services exceeded my expectations in many ways-

Responsive: Will replied my request for quote under 10 mins, and replied my text and call fairly quickly.

Professional: Will got things done in under 30 mins. In addition, Will was very thorough in examining andexplaining the issue. What I love the most is that he cleaned up the area after the issue was fixed.

Transparent pricing: he's honest and it's a flat fee and very reasonable price. I got different quotes and his is the most transparent.

On-time: he was on time, which is a very big factor for me.

Overall, I recommend Will and After Hour Services, with passion.

I can't say enough good things about Erik and his team! We had a wonky problem with our water heater leaking and they were persistent in diagnosing it, finally resolving after trying several fixes. We so appreciate that they didn't give up... others may have thrown up their hands and been on their way.

Highly highly recommend! Came out within the hour of me contacting them at almost 9pm.

Scott, our technician was very knowledgeable and competent.  He performed the service on our furnace in short order.  My only reservation was the amount that we were charged for a relatively small, relatively easy plumbing job we told them about when we placed the order for service.  The charge seemed very high for the work performed, but not so much that we didn't have Scott just quoting what we was supposed to charge for the job.

I had a plumbing issue three years ago or so and called a well advertised plumber who, upon inspecting our home, suggested we'd need to spend $10,000. A friend referred me to Jerry who came over and addressed everything for $412. Yes....$412. I have since had him update a couple of systems. He is responsive, professional, personable and affordable. I would not hesitate recommending him, and indeed, I do, often.

Dave and his team were awesome. I was looking to replace an old stove top range and they provided exactly what I was looking for. I called Dave and his team were at my house 5 minutes earlier than scheduled ready to work the next morning. His guys were quick and easy, coming in under his estimate, which was well below other estimates I received.  I will definitely be contacting Maple Valley Plumbing again when needed.

It was a small plumbing issue, a dish washer backing up. But it was close to the holidays when I needed it to work, and Vortex Plumbing was able to send someone the next day after I called. 4 Stars for prompt response and scheduling.

The plumber arrived on time the next morning. He noticed the kink in the outlet plumbing and used a hose clip to increase the flow of water through that stretch (he explained that would be cheaper than him replacing the entire plumbing hose). He then uncovered the countertop drainage and push some wire through it to ensure there were no food lumps. Ran the dish washer, and it worked great. But the cost of the hose clip is less than $2, and his actual work time was about 15 mins. He committed to leave the invoice later that day or following day. MIA.

I had an electrician and his trainee working on installing a security camera today. The parts included commercial tubing and they spent a solid 1.5 hours. When I compare both invoices, the plumbing was 65% of the electrician.

In summary, if you need immediate prompt attention, they are responsive. Price vs work effort is terrible. You will feel you have been gouged.

Many DIY plumbing jobs quickly escalate into full blown nightmares. Swift Plumbing came to our rescue when a booster pump failure and subsequent repair effort all went wrong.

Christian (from Swift) responded in 30 minutes and fixed the problem.  He was very friendly and courteous, but more importantly he was efficient.  Christian had us up and running again in 45 minutes after we spent all day on the problem.

Thank you Swift - you are my go to plumber 24x7!

What a relief!  I had, what looked to me like a leaking pipe, that started right after the holidays and was flooding my basement bathroom. I have just moved into my home, and was concerned about what the cause was.   I couldn't use my sink drains or washing machine.  Disaster.  I had called a few other plumbers, but on reading reviews decided against them.  I am so glad that I trusted the Yelpers and called Action Jackson.
I regret that I did not get my two servicemen's names, but they were scheduled to arrive at 8am and were right on the button!  They were friendly, professional, and worked for quite a while to assess and then correct which ultimately was a plugged drain. The tested and retested to make sure all was good.   In addition, they made some suggestions on how I might help keep this from occurring again (stronger garbage disposal - use cold water on grease) as well as what I might want to consider when I remodel.  There was no upselling at all.  They truly knew their business.  They were very efficient and very unobtrusive AND REASONABLE!!  
I would recommend and I will use Action Jackson again, should (hopefully not) the need arise.

My main water line sprung a leak.  I only knew about it when I got a huge water bill.  I looked  on the web and found American Leak Detection and called.  They were  able to make an appointment the next day.  Brandon arrived on time and within 15 minutes he had detected where my water line leak was.  He pin pointed the spot and I started digging.  Although it  was 4 1/2 feet down, he was right on.  I was extremely happy with the service I received from American Leak Detection.  If they had not been able to detect the location of the water line leak, I would have had to take up a paver patio in order to determine where the water was coming from..  This saved me thousands of dollars to replace the pavers.  If there ever is another leak I will definitely call American Leak Detection.

I am a total DIY gal but electrical is beyond me as is installing a wall hood vent. In addition to the electrical and vent installation, we needed to have the ventilation to the roof re-installed properly (this time!). Time to call in the experts!  All in One Maintenance did an amazing job!  Very professional, reasonable and customer centric. Now I can continue my work renovating the kitchen. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Really appreciate their workmanship. All in One Maintenance is this DIY gal's Go-To from now on. Thanks again, Leon and Sean!

I had Done Right out for a quote (cold call to them, we're new to Seattle) on repairing the drain where my driveway meets my garage door as a last ditch effort - I'd had 2 quotes and one company had said $8,000-$10,000 and said the job would require tearing up the floor in our family room, and one company said they weren't sure they could do it and would send another guy out (who never showed up).  Done Right gave me a great quote for SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER COST, were honest about my options, and spent 2 days cutting concrete, rerouting pipes, and repouring the concrete in my garage.  The owner called me daily (I was at work while they were at the house) and updated me on status, and once the repair was complete all my problems were solved.  We're had great results throughout all the heavy fall rains.  They also installed 2 toilets for me - nice guys, quick response.

If you are looking for a smart plumber who is good at problem solving, honest and hardworking, is proud of his work and stands behind his whole crew, this is the company to choose.

Walt's a real plumber and his prices are great.  He's not one to chit chat so it's better if you tell him what you want and then get out of his way.
I have had him do several jobs for me and he's always done solid work.  Shows up on time and the cost matches the quote.

We discovered our water heater was leaking on Thursday and going in to the house.  Ugh!  I called a couple of water heater companies to no avail and then go in touch with Brady at We Do Water Heaters, it was 7:30 on Thursday night.  We texted him our water heater specs and he called back and said they could be here Saturday morning between 10:00am-12:00pm.  Gave us a good price and a couple of recommendations.  He called me on Saturday to let me know his guys were on their way and would be there in about 20 minutes.  They were awesome.  Got everything installed and cleaned everything up. Brady and his team know customer service.

The tech that came out was very skillful and knowledgeable.  He was able to locate our problem in our sewer line, it was dug up and fixed in the same day.  Everything was cleaned up and working perfectly.  Great company with a very professional staff from start to finish.  I definitely recommend them!

We called Westsound Pluming and they came out the same day to repair our hot water heater. We were very pleased with Austin the owner and how the great service he gave us. The price was fair, fast and efficient. He also gave us excellent advice about another project. He is very informative and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone.

Christo help me replacing the 50 gallon water heater. He was super fast to respond and very friendly. The work was done efficiently with high quality. The work area was also left spotless after everything was done. Highly recommended

This review is long overdue, several months ago my rental property in the Seattle area was having heating issues to the point the city  was involved. I live in SW washington (3 hour drive to seattle). To make a long story short, I had another HVAC company come out and they had to come out 3 times (I had to miss 3 days of work) for parts, issues etc..i ended up spending almost $1500 and still wasn't fixed (at that point i should have just bought another furnace, they also said i need another part but wouldn't guarantee it would work). My lawyer suggested i try another company. I called Ally, took another day off work James met me at my house. I felt comfortable enough with him to leave and grab a coffee for the both of us. I came back within 15 mins and as i walk into the house, the house is toasty and warm! he said one of the original parts the other company  installed, had the wires hooked up incorrectly....who knows if it was on purpose or simply an accident but I salute Ally and James for the standup work! I even got a call a week later asking if it's working properly! I highly recommend Ally to anyone having any heating issues! I'm planning on getting some plumbing done to my property in the next couple of months and will be calling Ally to do the job!

What a joke! We scheduled an appointment on Tuesday for them to come out today (Saturday) for our tankless hot water heater for today 9 to 11am... they call me at 9:30 this morning to tell me they don't have anyone certified for today to come out!
I cant believe that I waited 4 days for this... her response was.. well I wasn't here to take the appointment.
that doesn't matter!
I have used them before but never again!
Communication is key and you dropped the ball and didn't even care!

I probably should have read the reviews before scheduling with this company. I needed my dryer vent cleaned, so on 6/22/21, I got on their site to book my appointment. Seemed easy enough, and I was thrilled that the next available appointment was the next day. I was only given morning or afternoon, no specific time.  I took the day off, and when I didn't hear anything around 1pm, I called. Michelle in the office put me on hold only to come back on the line to tell me the automatic scheduling system did not schedule me. She truly showed no care or concern, almost like this happens frequently.  She told me they're very busy & take emergency calls first.  I asked when I could get rescheduled and she was very wishy-washy.  Friday was open, but then she said she could no guarantee the appointment because an emergency might come up.  Next week might work better for them, but then she went back to Friday.  Time?  Oh, she could not commit to that either. Ok, fine, put me on the schedule for Friday.  The best was, I was leaving my house Wednesday around 4pm and there was one of their trucks around the block from me.  Whatever.  Well, today is Friday & took the day off because I was given no specific time or even time window.  So, here I am drinking my coffee, and I get a text Good morning Katy, this is Maxie with Hunt's Services. We have you scheduled for a dryer vent cleaning. Our technician is unavailable today and we are having to reschedule all of his appointments for today to next week. We can offer you a $35 rescheduling credit due to having to move your appointment. Please give us a call at 253-533-7500 or text here, Thank you!.  Really?  I called & got Michelle again.  First she said my appointment was cancelled due to emergency calls. I pointed out that the text said the tech was unavailable & all his appointments were cancelled. Again, wishy-washy, and slightly apologetic now.  Second day off work, still dirty dryer vent.  Needless to say, I'm on the schedule for another company on Monday, and sadly, another day off work.  Thank you Hunt's Services for an unexpected 4 day weekend.  At least the weather will be nice & there's beer in the fridge.
