Mike is a wonderful plumber. I called on a Saturday morning and he came in the early afternoon-that day! He was knowledgable about what was wrong with our sink (which is very old) and did the job quickly and efficiently. I will call him in the future if I need more work done in my home. Very happy with his service.

I requested a quote for water heater maintenance on Yelp and got a response from Jose right away. At first I was scheduled for the following day, but Freddy was finishing a job in my area so he was able to come to my house the same day. I found both Jose and Freddy to be friendly and easy to communicate with. My project was not very complicated -- just a regular flush of the system -- but I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for a different project.

Amazing guy. Didn't charge me a cent. Here's the story: We had 10 people coming to our house for an event and I heard one of the toilets gurgling. That's usually a sign that the line is backed up and black grossness is about to come oozing from the tub and drain. I called Max, who answered the phone on one ring, told me his whereabouts and ETA and was here in less than an hour. He came, sniffed around, checked various drains, opened the cleanout valve, flushed toilets, sniffed some more, waited, watched, and concluded that the line was clean and that it was just an air bubble in the toilet and that all was well. He didn't charge me anything. I love when that happens. Thanks Max. Will call you again when the s*#t really starts to fly.

We had our kitchen sink clogged and Chris came to fix it.  He was really good about keeping me updated on when he would get to our house, especially since LA traffic is so unpredictable.  He was super friendly and got the job done!  He also fixed our guest bathroom toilet which was making a funny noise.  My only issue was cost.  We used another company in Culver City and it was 1/2 the cost to do the same thing.  Brian was really great and called the next day to follow up.

Had an issue with our Rheem water heater and I couldn't get the pilot to relight. Called New Generation Plumbing in the morning and they gave me their earliest two-hour window available.

After receiving a courtesy call from dispatch that their team is on their way, Martin and David arrived 10 minutes into the scheduled two hour window. The duo worked their magic and relight the pilot flame within seconds.

While waiting for the water to reheat, I asked if the error light the Rheem unit was throwing out could be a false positive from time to time. Martin responded in the affirmative and suggested that I contact Rheem the next time this happens and have them send out a new valve controller since my unit is still within warranty. Once the controller arrives, give them a call back so they can install it for me.

Professional and knowledgeable individuals. No charge for their quick stop. But if I do need to replace the controller in the future, I will be asking for Martin and David!

After getting recommendations from friends for competent and trustworthy professionals who could handle surprise plumbing issues as our water heater had begun to leak, my wife and I took a quick look on Yelp to get an additional sense of who operates in our area, solely so we could compare quotes against one company who helped our friends with numerous surprises (their upstairs neighbors are irresponsible, shall we say, with the water).

But then we found Z&H, and it turned out they could get it done sooner and for less.  They were pretty confident about what the problem was - a dead pressure regulator - before even coming to make an estimate.  They made a couple recommendations related to the regulator and to the water heater leak, and we agreed for them to come back in a couple days.  They even managed to come a day early to do the job.  They did everything quickly and well, and now all the plumbing things can be checked off of our list.  Don't let high pressure persist, it might make for a nice shower, but it also makes all kinds of things leak.

To his great credit, Zorro even tried to explain to our home warranty provider why everything he was doing should be covered by their policy, which is like trying to drain the ocean.  He didn't win the whole battle, but he didn't have to fight it either.

We're hoping we won't have to call back in the near future now that the main thing is fixed, but we know where we'll turn if we have any more plumbing surprises.

Flood Brothers Plumbing provides fantastic customer service. I had an urgent issue with a gas leak; they came out immediately to address it...and on a Sunday morning, no less. They did great work and I am confident they have completely fixed the problem. Further, everyone with whom I interacted - from the person who first took my call to the site manager to the technicians - was courteous, responsive, and reliable. I want to give a special shout out to Brendan Lee who was readily available and addressed all my questions promptly and thoroughly. He genuinely seems to enjoy helping people through his work. I definitely will be contacting them for future plumbing issues.

They were prompt and courteous. They could not help me with my heating system issue but there was no charge and the tech did help point me in the right direction. Will definitely use them in the future.

I had 3 plumbers come out in 2 days.  Chris at ADW was very thorough and professional.  He showed me on camera how roots were growing into the pipes and told me my options, which saved me a boat load of dollars (compared to previous quotes)!!  I also must say that Nancy at ADW was very polite and good with follow-up.  Thanks to American Drain Works and I hope I don't need a plumber any time soon, but if I do, you'll hear from me.

Broc is amazing! We have a vacation rental that is ALWAYS having issues. He's been out at least a dozen times for various issues from roots in the pipes, cleaning out the mainline, fixing leaky pipes under the sink.
He's always a pleasure to work with, reasonably priced and is super quick.
I only wish I had more trusted vendors like him I could count on for other issues with our houses. :)

David Wallace has made several trips to our 1930's home over the past few years. He has never failed to identify the source of our problem AND identify and implement a workable solution. He is knowledgeable and more than happy to educate, while at the same time working efficiently and neatly.
