After reading the reviews, I called Max. I own a rental and live 2 hours away.  Tenants had a rusted standing pipe behind the washing machine that need to be replaced.  I spoke to Max in the morning and he was at the house by 1pm same day.  He was very prompt, professional, and knowledgable.  I will us him again in a heart beat.

Rockstar plumbing rocks! Seriously, though, every aspect of their customer service was outstanding and they live up to their Yelp reviews.

They were easy to contact and schedule with and they were flexible with my schedule. My problem was not urgent.

Dejon was awesome. He put on shoe covers as soon as he walked in, explained the issues clearly, and told me his plan and timeline. The accurate timeline made it easy to work with my HOA for the planned water shutoff.

Originally, I needed just two angle stops replaced. When Dejon pointed out how old the supply lines were (made with metal), I asked if he could look at the other lines. He did and then offered me a discounted price for doing all six lines at once. He did not up sell me -- I made the choice based on the age of the home and knowledge of remodeling of yore.

I found Rockstar's well below other companies for angle stop replacement. More importantly than the price, I found their customer service to be reliable and I appreciate that feeling when dealing with plumbing.

Miguel and New Pro Plumbing is incredible. I'm not exaggerating. Miguel fit us in same day which is just crazy!  He was communicative, efficient, fairly priced and FAST. Thank you!!!!

Based on the great reviews, I called him twice and talked to him twice. He was very nice and promised (twice) that he would come around and look at the drains. He never came. I understand that people can get busy but there is always time for a short text or a message. Not worth my time.

Luckily for me Hermès Plumbing was assigned to me through my home warranty company...They did a great job and are also really nice guys...I will definitely use them again if needed...

Rocket Plumbing to the rescue!  We arrived home from a trip late at night Thanksgiving week only to find no hot water and a flooded basement.  I immediately began trying to find a plumber to help us and was so desperate that I finally called one of the big companies we had used before and not liked.  Then, early the next morning, having misgivings about that, I found Rocket Plumbing on Yelp, read the reviews, and called them.  Chris said he could get Sam out by late morning.  I sent him pictures of the basement area and cancelled the other plumber, crossing my fingers that Rocket was as good as its Yelp reviews.  It was.   Chris followed up by phone several times before and after Sam arrived around 11:30 a.m.  It was a long day, but we got the basement pumped out and a new water heater installed.  Needless to say, we were delighted, as we had been thinking we might have to move to a hotel room for the night if we still had no hot water and no heat.  (Yep, the furnace was down in that basement as well.)  This was highly professional, very considerate service with no up selling.  Highly recommended.

Martin and the other technician (didn't get his name) were amazing! Not only were they professional and knowledgeable (they came by today and fixed the issue instantly) but they were also great people (didn't try to rip us off and even wore booties inside). So glad I have found a respectable plumber I can trust. We just moved to LA and ill use them for everything in the future.

We had a leak during COVID 19 and Brendan came and discovered the source of the leak and fixed it in about 5 minutes. He said that was a simple job and wouldn't charge me - all this with gloves and a mask on. Thank you Flood Brothers! You're our Go-To for all things plumbing!

Thomas was wonderful and so quick to respond when our kitchen sink was backed up late Saturday afternoon -- just two days before we had to move! He resolved the issue in less than 30 minutes, was professional in his conduct, and was COVID-ready and wore a mask the whole time. Would recommend highly to anyone in the LA/Beach Cities area. ****UPDATE AFTER FIRST REVIEW****(1 STAR INSTEAD OF 2)
TL;DR - Owner and technician sent very rude comments to me after leaving a very fair review of services provided to me.  In my original review I recommended them for their good availability but I no longer recommend them for their extremely rude and condescending messages.

I thought my review was pretty fair (two stars out of five) - the tech spent almost two hours trying to fix the problem but ultimately couldn't.  I was very clear on the initial communication that our toilet was leaking and was on the second floor.  I had to pay $65 for a visit when the problem was not fixed or even slightly remediated which at the time I thought was a little bit fair due to him trying to fix the problem for two hours.  Also, expanding on my a very slight rude attitude comment, my wife and I asked him two questions throughout the visit and his responses were literally: it's not funny and give me a second in a very rude manner.  I guess he thought we were being rude ourselves or making fun of him but we absolutely weren't, we were just asking about the problem.  

I was going to leave the review as-is with the two stars but it is a poor business practice that both the owner and the technician wrote to me privately mocking my wife and I.  In this age of social media where the success of a business is mostly driven by feedback left by consumers in these types of forums it amazes me how a well reviewed business could operate like that.  I frankly find it almost comical because the content of the messages don't upset me, what upsets me is that businesses operate like this.

I am attaching pictures of both the private message that the owner sent to me through Yelp and the laughing hard emoji that the technician sent to my personal cell phone after I posted the original review.  If you read my original review carefully you will see that it almost matches the private message that the owner sent to me.  Also, it is funny how the owner has a public and private persona as you can clearly tell from the public reply to my comment that he is very nice and apologetic whereas on the private message sent to me the story is quite different.

Next steps for me - propagate this review through other sites, including my community's Facebook page which includes around 600 households.  I cannot recommend a service that acts in such a childish manner.  Also as next step will be to dispute the $65 charge with my credit card company for services not rendered.

Had a clogged sewer line somewhere out in the front yard. Sal's showed up in a few hours on a weekend and took care of it straight away. Then the tech threw a camera down the pipe and took time to show me some of the roots that were causing the problem in my old clay pipes and even used a locator to show me exactly where it was under the yard. Great service.

Had a backed up kitchen sink. I was able to call and within a few hours, a plumber was able to fix it. When calling, the person over the phone was very attentive and assured that someone would come to assist. Chris texted and said he was on his way. He showed up in the time frame given. He was very professional, explained everything that had to be done and did it as he said he would. Very happy we chose Cali Rooter. Chris was very helpful and willing to look at our water heater for replacement. Not long after leaving my home, we were emailed an estimate which I will say is very competitive vs other quotes we received.

David is the absolute best. He came in on whim to install our washer/dryer and was so helpful the entire time. David installed everything quickly and efficiently but my biggest surprise came several minutes after he left.

David charged me around $40 in costs for the vent and other equipment that was needed to install the washer/dryer. He called me about 30 mins after he left and told me he needed to meet me again due to the fact he over charged me (he went to Home Depot to replace the equipment he gave me and realized it then. He met with me and returned $15.

The point I want to make with David and Wallace Plumbing is that he IS HONEST. DAVID COULD HAVE kept all the money but he didn't. Will never hesitate to call him again for help.

My water heater was on the fritz when we got home from vacation. Called Ford's up and they had a great guy here in less than 3 hours. Work is done, the price was very reasonable, I'm happy.
They are who I'll call for any future plumbing needs.
