Daniel came in and saved the day with our shower remodel project. Our tub needed to be relevelled after another contractor messed up the installation. We also needed the plumbing connections to the shower handle/valve to be re-aligned...again fixing another contractor's mistake.

My wife and I were both impressed with his ability to not only do the job well but to put every effort into finding the best solution (i.e. the professional way to resolve the problem and connect everything together). Also, his communication throughout the project was top notch. I had never met him before this job started, so I'm not trying to help a buddy. I honestly just want others to find good contractors. Go with this company. They're the type of people you want.

Jonathan F came out to replace a hot water heater at the Preston and Park location of one of our Sunstone studios. He did an absolutely amazing job. His service, expertise, knowledge and overall joy for what he was doing left me with a feeling of utter confidence. We will use him again and again and recommend him to anyone. Emilio is incredible and a model professional.  He has helped our household with various plumbing issues that were due to age and prior plumbers doing work incorrectly.  Emilio explains the problems for any novice to understand and puts an urgency to complete the job as if it were his own home.  Emilio is punctual and very responsive and leaves his work area as if he was never there.  There is no job too big or too small.  If you want to support a small business and want high quality work at an affordable price, look no further than Emilio at Maintenance Mechanical of Texas!  Thanks for all your work, Emilio.  We know who to reach out to for all our plumbing and gas needs!

We had Steven's come out for broken zones in our sprinkler system. We were super impressed with the work. The reason for the low rating is now that we need his services again we have not been extended the courtesy of a return call or text. Despite leaving several messages on both numbers. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. Hopefully all is well for Steven and we are the exception not the rule.

Nikki was responsive, timely and professional! She replaced a bathroom faucet and pipes under the sink where our A/C drip pan flows to from attic. She was in and out and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

Good news: They arrived at the time that they promised on the phone, and they fixed the problem.

Bad news: The job took far longer than it should have, and I was paying by the hour.

One star *would* have been my rating, but I am giving them three, as they were willing to negotiate with me on the price after-the-fact.  I sent a straightforward non-antagonistic letter to them 48 hours later (after we'd both had time to cool-off) and they did refund part of their original bill back to me.  I still feel that I was overcharged for the job, but at least it wound up being moderately high instead of outrageously high.

Painful lesson that I have learned: No matter how simple the job appears, do not let work begin without an estimate.  (And it was a simple job, not just in my own opinion, but also that of a city plumbing employee.  It is a mystery to me, even now, to understand why the job took as long as it did.)  Had I requested an estimate up-front, they would have been much more likely to quote a fair price, and stuck to it, regardless of how long the job took.  Live and learn.

Excellent service and resolved issues quickly, price was fair for that level of knowledge and experience. Like they say good plumbing ain't cheap and cheap plumbing ain't good !

We had been putting off replacing our toilet in our Master Bath and installing a vanity in our entry bathroom.  Travis had done some work with us in the past and we are so glad we called him back.  We have some challenges in both areas with space and doors.  He had great suggestions on which toilet to go with and found a vanity that was perfect for our limited space!  His communication is fantastic, quality workmanship, and fair pricing.  If you need a plumber, give him a call.

I don't usually write reviews, but these guys certainly deserved it.  We had water gurgling up from our front yard and dug up the area to find what we thought was the water main leaking.  We tried to fix it ourselves, but it just leaked.  So after being without water for a couple days we called multiple plumbing businesses and Carrollton Plumbing was the only one to answer the phone.  The guy said we always answer our phones.  They were booked solid but still sent some guys out within 3 hours to take a look at what we had and give us an estimate.  They showed up when promised and quickly informed us that what we were looking at was the supply to our sprinkler system, not the water main.  They turned off the main shutoff to the sprinkler system and got us our water back on in the house.  Hooray!!  They said that we were well on the way to fixing it correctly, just using the wrong glue.  They told us that they would hate to have to charge us the $400 to re-do the repair when we could just do it ourselves again with the correct glue.  They told us what to buy and headed back to their truck.  When I asked how much for the service call, they said no charge! Just call us next time you need a plumber.  We certainly will and will recommend them to others as well.  Honesty over greed is a rare thing in businesses this day, and it was a real breath of fresh air dealing with these guys.

Needed 3 lines unclogged, quick and easy. Price was very reasonable. Thanks. Would recommend to friends.

I called Mark to do a small job that needed to be done that day or the next. He sent 2 guys out THAT day and got it done. Fast, reasonably priced. Can't ask for more. And, Mark returns calls and does what he says; unlike some of his competitors.

Alex installed a tankless water heater when we first moved into our house. He was prompt, professional, and the pricing was fair. He was incredibly helpful when we had issues with the heater half a year later. I strongly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a plumber.

The tech who came out, Tom, was very professional and explained the problem to me in detail. He also showed me a picture of the pipes located under the house so I understood the situation. They were very easy to work with and also reasonably priced.

Daniel was quick to respond, on time and professional. Best price out of the two other plumbers I called. Will definitely use again for future plumbing needs.

Absolutely outstanding service.. called with a clogged pipe , there were here in less then 30 minutes. Honest and respectful. I've used this service before but never had the time to post a review.. well I am now . Y'all need a professional?? My experience with Duncan Plumbing was below expectations.  First, their communication was poor.  When I called to set up appointment the girl said 9 to 9:30.  There was nothing said about tech calling to confirm time.  It was communicated an 85 estimate fee that would then be incorporated into the service if completed.  On the day of service, due to my business, my phone was off. Therefore I did not receive a call asking if the tech could come early at 8:30.  At 9:10 I noticed I had missed a call from an unknown number. The tech had left a message and for me to call. I attempted to call his number with no answer so I called Duncan directly. The tech had been dispatched to the third call of the day because I did not answer. The woman started making this my fault until I reassured her that it was ok just when could he be here as it was not a crisis .  The call was rescheduled for later that day for 5:00.  I received a call, in the middle of a therapy session, took the call because I did not want a repeat of earlier.  Stephen arrived at around 5:30. Went to my bathroom, deduced the issue was a water fill component.  Asked if I wanted it fixed, and jokingly said of course unless we are talking 2 to 300 dollars.  With all seriousness he said, the repair would be 265.00 dollars.  I was appalled.  My gosh, I was currently, right then having 3 rooms of carpet steam cleaned, which meant moving furniture, and the job was a 2 hour job for just over 200 dollars!  If he had said even up to 150 I would have agreed but that was ridiculous.  So I paid the 85 dollars that I agreed to and sent him on his way.  What a ripoff!

We the service tech showed up to my home as scheduled. He troubleshot my tanlkess water heater and said it was shot. It would have to be replaced. The cost was $8400 for your unit. The warranty company was not going to pay for it. The tech did say they had financing if I wanted to get it fixed. So I waited and called another company the tech came out and said their unit was 1200.00! But he troubleshot and found two valves leaking. He replaced them in an hour and we havent had any issues. The problem that I have now with your company is that your business practices are unethical and suspect! During these times you decided to price gouge at this opportunity to help the community. I don't understand why it was such a huge difference in the work being done! I will be reporting you to the BBB and the state attorneys office. Thank you and have a great day!!
