They were easy to schedule, and gave me a heads up 20 minutes before arriving so I could meet them there.  The lead plumber kept me advised what he was doing each step of the way, and gave me an upfront quote.  The cause of the problem wasn't what I thought it was; it was a clog in the sewer lines underneath the house caused by a flushed wet wipe.   Since I told him that this address had frequent plumbing issues believed to be caused by tree roots, he ran a sewer camera down my sewer lines through the front yard line as well to determine if that was an additional issue that I might want to purchase hydrojet drain cleaning service for, in order to prevent another problem in the near future.  It was determined not to be a current issue, but he identified that the interior of my iron pipes were corroded, which is good to know.  He didn't charge me for the sewer camera, and the price for clearing the clog was reasonable.  They cleaned up after their work and left everything as they found it, minus the clog.

The only weird thing is that they emailed me an invoice, that had language at the bottom of it suggesting I had signed some agreement which I don't recall ever seeing.  I never signed anything.

Alex did a great job! The change out of the faucets  was more involved that anticipated and required that he actually needed to cut the pipes a half foot below anticipated requiring a much larger cutout and more copper piping and fittings but he charged the same estimate and tightening the sink plumbing as s freebie..

True Plumbing just completed a repair to our main sewer line.  To do this, they had to dig out an area 5-6 feet down to access the area affected.  They completed the repair, filled in the hole, and cleaned the entire area before leaving.  They did the job quickly and efficiently, and we couldn't be more pleased.  In addition, they offered a very highly competitive bid.  

We would strongly recommend them!

Great company, I highly recommend! Had a shower head that broke and wouldn't shut off, they were out within 2 hours and had it fixed in 30 minutes. I'll definitely call them again with any other issues.

I will definitely recommend black tie plumbing , I had written a not so review earlier due to miscommunication but Larissa the office manager took the time to call me and straighten everything up. The technician was pleasant and got the problem fixed in no time, very professional and friendly. I will use black tie plumbing going forward because a good reliable plumbing company like black tie is had to find.

Water was leaking from under our toilet. We called them and they were very pleasant on the phone and when the technician showed up. Grateful they made the extra effort to show up that same evening and he fixed the seal under the toilet and even helped us some on the price. I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

Pathetic service! I highly unrecommend them, at least this location that is! I originally called to have them locate the clean out and clean it out. They then came the day of and I was told by a guy named Jordan that they would be able I help me find the leak but needed to find a functioning camera that they didn't have that day. I was told that they would come out the next morning. The next morning, their office staff told me they wouldn't be able to send anyone out until later, since their guy made a mistake in scheduling it for the morning, they told me that the guy that had it scheduled had that day off or was on vacation, so I had to wait until 4pm for them to come out. Another one of their guys came and worked for 2 hours, afterwards he said after using their camera and cleaning everything out, there wasn't anything wrong, except that the house had no clean out. They were originally supposed to provide me a service contract prior to starting and couldn't even provide that, they only asked me over the phone  if they could start and this was the only thing they could to get started at the time. Afterwards, the next day, I was called that they wanted to collect payment, and they hadn't even sent me an invoice, they just wanted me to pay without any invoice(here I'm thinking it's an established company). They were then charging me pretty much double of what I was originally told over the phone. When I questioned them, they were very rude and pretended as if they didn't know what I was talking about, once I chewed them out to do their own due diligence on what I was talking about, they then went and fixed their financial discrepancies and sent me an invoice(of which I had to request, otherwise they wouldn't of sent me anything).
Never again will I use this Rotor Rooter!
