First time using and will use them again if the need arises. Water heater went out and I reached out via their site for a quote. They contacted me first thing in the morning and had a tech here about 30 mins later who was friendly and informative. A few hours later I had a new tank installed and working great. They handled the permit, scheduled the city inspection, left no mess all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend them.

These are the best plumbers I've ever used. Over the past years, I've had to use a few plumbers in the area. The work was shoddy, expensive, and took multiple return trips to fix the issue. I was amazed at how prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous these guys were. From calling in to schedule to the day of service, the whole experience was amazing! The value was also excellent. The prices were very reasonable and the quality of service was exceptional! They even left the room clean. Thank you, ABC for a great job. After receiving a $3500 estimate to install my pelican water system by schrader plumbing, I called True Plumbing.  Cameron was nice, polite and HONEST.  He explained to me the cost which was one third of what Schrader offered.  I appreciated his fair price, but since I bought the unit from the manufacturer, pelican had a better deal.  I do want to tell you that their honesty is much appreciated.  That is hard to come by, and next time if I have plumbing needs, I will call them back for sure.

I've used Direct Source twice and both times Wes has been courteous, solved the problem quickly, answered my questions thoroughly and I honestly feel the price has been fair.  
My ONLY point of unease is that, both times, it's suggested I do or buy something else that would ensure immediate future business. I know every business has to make money but I never know what REALLY has to be done and what is superficial.
Regardless, it was a good overall experience both times.

Legacy Plumbing is the company to call when you have plumbing issues.  I called them to fix a blocked toilet and a second running toilet based on reviews I saw online here.  I was very impressed with their service technician (Lee) - he was professional, spoke to me about what the problems were, fixed both toilets in less than 45 minutes and CLEANED UP AFTER HE WAS DONE.  Who does that?  He gave me advice on a water pressure issue that we were having and that two previous plumbing companies had no clue on how to fix.  My wife asked me to call him back to fix that.  Again, Lee was dispatched, called to say he was on his way, was professional and was done in about 40 minutes.

They are not the cheapest but I didn't care about that; the problems were fixed and the service was great.  I will definitely use them again.

Do not use this company. They are gouging prices. I found a plumber who would just repair my water heater.

They tried to charge $3000 dollars and came with a water heater thinking I would finance it. Absolutely not!

John showed up 20 minutes before the estimated time,  took care of a stopped up kitchen sink, installed a new sink, faucet and all new pvc drains in less than 2 hours. Great job,  great service Thanks a lot guys.

Black Tie was the 3rd plumbing contractor dispatched by my home warranty company to unclog the blockage - so is there truth to the old timers saying of  the 3rd time is a charm??  Well, I reckon so!!

I had O'Bryan plumbing come out to my home today and make a repair. Russell came out did  a great job and offered suggestions and gave me great information. If you need a great plumbing company give them a call.

I had to have major work on my wash out.  There were roots growing into my line and the connections were off.  Stram was great and walked me through it all showing me everything on his camera.  The price was very reasonable and they did quick work.  I'm very thankful to their professionalism and work quality as I was in a tough spot.

I am very thankful I reached out to Mike for my plumbing issues. Mike was very responsive and prompt and did a fantastic job.

We bought a new home and found it took almost forever for hot water to get across the house. The house previously had a foundation leak and I was concerned a new re-circ hot water pump would stress the pipes again. Bobby came out and suggested a smart plug that would learn our routines. He completely rerouted the circulation of the hot water and added a re-circ pump and expansion tank... I spoke w 2 other companies, but no one observerved the situation more comprehensively than Bobby. I felt he really listened to my concerns and explained his thoughts thorougly. The bid was reasonable. Work was professionally done (without shortcuts). I think I just found my new go to plumber!

Kenny and his son replaced my water heater and they did a wonderful job. They both were very knowledgeable, courteous, and precise. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Verde Valley. And I would also use them again.

Very good communication.. showed up on time and diagnosed the problem and fixed it very fast.  We had a slow draining sink which I had tried to snake with no luck  .. they used a snake and fixed the issue very fast.  Price was fair and on par with what others were estimating.. thanks

Elsewhere (not on Yelp) I saw a few favorable reviews for Benton Plumbing of Benbrook, so I took a chance and called them about a leaky faucet (not an emergency).

The receptionist told me that they had an opening for the next Tuesday (I had requested a Monday or Tuesday appointment). She said the plumber would arrive between 11 and noon.

Tuesday, 10:45 a.m., Benton's called, saying the plumber was on his way. He (Paul) arrived at 11 sharp. He fixed my two bad faucets quickly (he did have to go to a nearby hardware store to get the proper fittings for my particular faucets).

Very reasonable charge ($85 per hour, plus parts).

I was very pleased! I asked for extra cards so I could spread them around the house (I tend to lose such cards).

Highly recommended!

Updated May 15, 2014: I have had occasion to use Benton's two more times since my original review. The review stands. Excellent service indeed!

I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

Jeff is in my house right now as I am writing this review. He has spent the last 4 hours trying to remove some ABS that was put down our downstairs toilet drain by our builders. We've only been in this house a year and the downstairs toilet needed to be plunged since the first week we moved in (it's a new-build). Thanks to Jeff's persistence, he found the issue and took care of it so we can use our downstairs toilet again! For the amount of work he did, the price was very reasonable. I asked if I could tip him and he refused. Good, honest work!

Have used Roto-Rooter before and trusted them.  No more.  When I use them it is always for the same service - cleaning out the sewer line from the clean out to the house and out to the alley.  In 2006 this was $150.  In 2010 it had gone up to $175.  Pretty reasonable.  We decided to call them out about 6 months later to prepare for several events at our house.  The line seemed to be slowing down.

The service guy showed up and quoted me a price of $270.  This was almost a $100 more than 6 months previously.  I went in and checked the previous charge to confirm.  When I came back out to question it he gave several reasons.  Having to clean out both ways, price increase.  However, he promptly dropped the price to $180 with a 10% discount.  My BS detector went off and I told him to tell me what I owed for him coming out and for him to pack up.  (I try to be fair in my dealings with people)  He told me there was a $90 charge.  While he was loading up I called the office.  They could not give me a price or explanation of the discrepancy of the charges.  They told me that there should be no charge for him coming out - it was a free estimate.

I contacted their customer service info.  Played phone tag with a guy from the local franchise.  He just kept asking several questions and never gave any real explanation for the behavior or apology.

I will do this service myself in the future or will hire a true local company.
