Jeff and his awesome partner with Schrader showed up and saved the day! Every once in awhile in life you meet people who are expertly passionate about what they do, that is this team! We have worked with 2 other local plumbing companies (not happy) and we were skeptical and upset because of that. Schrader has restored our faith in Texas plumbers! Had a cracked sewer pipe due to foundation repair, Jeff fixed what was needed ran the pressure tests and in general went above and beyond all our expectations! Thank you Schrader Plumbing, we highly recommend y'all.

Taylor and Hunter came out to fix a wobbly toilet, replace a kitchen faucet, and replace a frozen garbage disposal. Did exceptional work at price that was reasonable. Completed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up rechecked their work. I will definitely hire them again when it's time for a new hot water heater.

We just had our sink fixed.  The guys were efficient and knew right what the problem was.  They shared their knowledge and did it with a friendly smile.   If needed, we wouldn't hesitate to call them back again.  Thanks True Plumbing!!

I've used Direct Source twice and both times Wes has been courteous, solved the problem quickly, answered my questions thoroughly and I honestly feel the price has been fair.  
My ONLY point of unease is that, both times, it's suggested I do or buy something else that would ensure immediate future business. I know every business has to make money but I never know what REALLY has to be done and what is superficial.
Regardless, it was a good overall experience both times.

Steven and Kelly arrived exactly on time and cleaned out our guest bathroom drain for exactly the price they said they would. They were quick, courteous, and thorough. They also took a look at our water heater vent. I would be inclined to use them again.

If I ever need an electrician I will call Tioga. For an upfront, honest and fair price quoted, I found out what the problem was and various recommendations on how I can resolve.

He waited for me to return from an errand and was very knowledgeable and professional.  For once I knew I had found an angel of a company who I trust to be totally transparent and not price gouge me!  So glad to know you are in my area!

Kevin from Black Tie Plumbing did a great job fixing our toilet issues.  He troubleshooted several different problems with our old toilets and now we have turbo-flushing toilets instead of slow stinky ones!  I can take the plunger out of the bathroom!  We're happy!  Now I can invite friends over without saying,  you can come over as long as you promise not to poop.

These guys are great. Quoted a fair price to take car of my problem and charged $50 less than quoted plus came out same morning I called and finished in less than 2 hours,but were very thorough. Brian answered a number of other plumbing questions I had. Courteous and friendly guys. I have only written 2 reviews on Yelp. One was for a garage door company that deserved to be slammed as they were very shady (I did not get through Yelp to find them). I am glad my daughter told me about Yelp which helped me locate this excellent company.

After being quoted around $6000 by another local plumber, who told us our main line needed to be totally replaced, we decided to get a second opinion, and boy oh boy, am I glad we did!!!

I used yelp to find a contractor to fix my kitchen sink. Bow tie plumbing responded within minutes and we scheduled an appointment for later in the week. I was very satisfied with the technician that showed up- he was very patient in answering my questions and quick to fix the leak. Can only recommend bow tie plumbing.

Kenny is an awesome plumber and actually cares about his customers.  After 2 other plumbers couldn't find the time to come out to my house sent by my insurance agency, Kenny came, after hours to fix a problem that was more than just a leak.

I will give them 2 stars just for showing up promptly to bid on a couple of items. But they did not get the job, because they were so far overpriced I could not fathom using them. 4 items were bid at $910. The time before that, they bid $1500 to run a gas line for my natural gas grill. Then, I would of had to hire a carpenter to redo the dry wall and there is no telling what that would of run. After 2 tries, I will have to find someone else in the future. We just can't be paying that kind of money for  anyone to do a small repair. Maybe they can get that kind of money on commercial jobs. I would not suggest calling them for a residential job though. Just Youtube and do it yourself or keep trying until you find someone with down to earth pricing.

I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

I've finally found my go-to plumber, I highly recommend these guys! John came to my house quickly in an emergency, charged a very reasonable rate, and did a fantastic job.

The gas company knocked on my door at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night; letting me know I had a major gas leak and that they were shutting my gas off until it could be fixed.  I immediately messaged 10-15 companies on Yelp and John was the first to get back to me, and with a reasonable estimate. (Other companies quoted an extra charge because of the urgent nature of the issue, John did not.)    

As promised, John showed up first thing the next morning, walked through the leaks with me and explained how he was going to fix them.  I live in an old building, and the lines connected to my water heater/furnace had an undisclosed leak.  He was here for 3.5-4 hours, and did an incredibly thorough job patching up the lines and replacing the shut off valves.  The gas company checked for leaks when they turned the gas back on, and the commented what an amazing job he had done.

I will be keeping John's info and will contact him for any and all future plumbing needs.  He was very polite, fairly priced, and treated my home like his own.

Have used Roto-Rooter before and trusted them.  No more.  When I use them it is always for the same service - cleaning out the sewer line from the clean out to the house and out to the alley.  In 2006 this was $150.  In 2010 it had gone up to $175.  Pretty reasonable.  We decided to call them out about 6 months later to prepare for several events at our house.  The line seemed to be slowing down.

The service guy showed up and quoted me a price of $270.  This was almost a $100 more than 6 months previously.  I went in and checked the previous charge to confirm.  When I came back out to question it he gave several reasons.  Having to clean out both ways, price increase.  However, he promptly dropped the price to $180 with a 10% discount.  My BS detector went off and I told him to tell me what I owed for him coming out and for him to pack up.  (I try to be fair in my dealings with people)  He told me there was a $90 charge.  While he was loading up I called the office.  They could not give me a price or explanation of the discrepancy of the charges.  They told me that there should be no charge for him coming out - it was a free estimate.

I contacted their customer service info.  Played phone tag with a guy from the local franchise.  He just kept asking several questions and never gave any real explanation for the behavior or apology.

I will do this service myself in the future or will hire a true local company.
