I initially called in for a water leak and ended up getting more work done by them. Scheduling was a breeze and was able to get me in within a reasonable amount of time. Never pressured me for extra services and instead just advised me to eventually get it done. I got the extra things done right away by them because of their honesty. If you're shopping around, look no further. Their quality of work and honesty should be enough for you to give them your business.

Daryl and Taylor saved the day! Our toilets started backing up into our showers on Mother's Day and almost ruined our day. We got it cleaned up and gave ABC a call the next morning. They had these two guys at our house in under 3 hours! They were prepared and knew exactly what to do. They even acknowledged our dog that was very hyper and nosey with them while they worked. They were fast and explained everything to us as they worked. The best part is, it didn't break the bank. I was not shocked at the check I had to cut because it was so affordable. These guys were personable, trustworthy, and efficient at what they do. I will continue using ABC for all my future plumbing issues and I recommend them 1000% to anyone who needs plumbing assistance.

I had a pluming issue late at night. Called around 10:00pm, got an answer, a cost estimate as well as an estimate for an arrival time the next morning.
The service tech was prompt, friendly and did an excellent job.

Direct source plumbing should be your ONLY option when considering assistance from a professional plumbing service. I have an older home and have called several services in the past, so I have a knowledgeable comparison of service in the DFW Metroplex. What I experienced when David and Kyle came out was uncompromised professional service. They went above and beyond to help me, and even educated me on do it yourself prevention. These men are kind, friendly, fair, experienced, but most of all Results Driven. Lastly, they are reasonably priced, and completely affordable, which is not often the case with local competitors. I can honestly say David and Kyle delivered an amazing experience, and I will never use anyone else. They have my family for life.

Not sure where to even begin this review as from the moment I called to inquire about the water sound in my wall to the moment the project was finished, it was a great experience. Upon first calling, my call was returned by the owner, Theron Young. He actually asked me a series of questions on what the sound could be in an effort to try and save me money from a service call. Once he thought it may be a slab leak, he helped schedule the appointment. Canon and Alex came to the house to conduct some testing and concluded it was indeed a slab leak. Something no homeowner really wants to hear, however these two professionals assured me they could handle the job and stated they would have me up and running in no time. My wife and I were leaving town the next day so they advised me to leave the water turned off. We scheduled them to come back and fix the leak upon our return. They were prompt, extremely professional and kept me informed with each step they took. Now here's what was so amazing; these two men were so courteous, helpful in explaining things, cleaned up after themselves and were so friendly - I felt like I had known them for years. Having been a homeowner for over 35 years, I have had several companies and service providers in and out of my homes. Never have I experienced such a high I Care factor than from Canon and Alex. I even joined their Gold program as I want these guys back to ensure other areas of my plumbing is properly maintained. I could write a lot more, but do yourself a favor and call this company for any plumbing need. Great people.  Honest and caring.  They found out there problem was not my plumbing but my neighbor over watering.  They investigated all of this and didn't even charge me!!!!  I can't believe I found people who know what actual customer service is!!!!  I will Definitely be using and recommend them .

-Upfront pricing
-resolution of two problems after calling them back out
-camera-ed my system at no charge after the error
-Carissa Stinson makes genuine efforts to hear my frustration
-warranty on work good for 12mos

Cons:
- felt like I didn't get what I initially asked for in inspection of system BEFORE installing flooring, which will now cost me time and money
- didn't perform quality inspection after work causing me to call them back out more than once
- didn't perform thorough testing/inspection of gas line to fireplace before selling me new line
- didn't provide me with requested materials for insurance and have no recorded notes of phone conversations requesting this info

Still, they have plenty of 5-star reviews. Sometimes relationships just don't work out. Might have just been a bad time for them. You may have better luck, and they might make the necessary changes so that my experience does not get repeated. This is my hope for them as I desire small, local businesses to be successful. I had really high hopes about them based on the recommendation....it just didn't work out for me.

Highly recommended by a trusted source...ultimately let me down.  

After buying a house I had some time before move-in to get some necessary repairs and renovations done. LS Plumbing was highly recommended by a close friend. They came out as scheduled. Upfront pricing so no surprises. Pricing was high, but based on recommendation I assumed it would be good work, and I was tied up with other things.  I asked for an inspection of total system, and let the tech know of a specific issue relayed to me by the seller. He diagnosed the first minor problem he saw and went no further. I asked That's all? and the tech indicted yes. I felt confident in their expertise and moved forward with installing flooring throughout the house. After move-in we had a major backup and called them back out. They diagnosed a sewer line issue under my living room slab (and brand new floor). The tech's response was wish we had known about this a month ago.....which did nothing to make me feel better about the new flooring having to be taken up at my own expense and the disruption for my family...which again, I wanted to identify and resolve BEFORE moving in.  The rest of the work was poorly done and they made two more trips out to try and resolve....which could've been caught in the initial call had there been some quality control, or even a simple thorough inspection. I diagnosed on my own that they had installed a part backwards. This was also extremely frustrating as I am NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER, and they missed it TWICE before.  The office manager (Mrs. Stinson) genuinely seemed to care about how their company let me down. However, there was very little accountability from Mr. Stinson beyond admitting that the work had been of poor quality.

I still have a sewer repair to complete, but I have vacillated between giving them another chance to do good work...and not giving them another penny.  

Ultimately, they self-selected themselves out. I needed a quote and description of work to turn into my insurance agent for possible claim. After multiple requests (and assurances from them that they would provide) I gave up. I think they were hoping I would go away. And this review will live on the internet forever, which is a shame because nobody is perfect...and they had opportunities to get it right, but they didn't want to.

I wrote this review about a month or so ago for the very first time  I used Black Tie Plumbing. However, when I added a second review today for a recent service call I accidentally deleted it so I am rewriting it.  

Black Tie was sent through my home warranty company. Kevin who came out was professional, helpful (as I had many questions for him), knowledgeable and kind. I had a broken garage disposal that he worked on. He did a great job. I also had  another company come out for a different issue. There was a district difference in how Kevin answered my questions and in his honesty. I will only request Black Tie in the future from my home warranty company. Thank you Kevin!

Had them come out to install a new toilet after some issues with the flange prevented us from doing it ourselves. Javier and Ryan were on time, courteous and fast. They kept to the quote they gave us and left everything clean. Good Service.

I had to have major work on my wash out.  There were roots growing into my line and the connections were off.  Stram was great and walked me through it all showing me everything on his camera.  The price was very reasonable and they did quick work.  I'm very thankful to their professionalism and work quality as I was in a tough spot.

I am very thankful I reached out to Mike for my plumbing issues. Mike was very responsive and prompt and did a fantastic job.

I used yelp to find a contractor to fix my kitchen sink. Bow tie plumbing responded within minutes and we scheduled an appointment for later in the week. I was very satisfied with the technician that showed up- he was very patient in answering my questions and quick to fix the leak. Can only recommend bow tie plumbing.

In my experience with less than stellar and reliable trades in Sedona, Kenny and his son Matt have restored my faith that there are still good, honest, reliable, hardworking folks that can get the job done right at a fair price.

They rerouted some unnecessary 90 degree turns on kitchen drain line to free up clog and also snaked and plunged the line.  First visit for emergency drain clean and diagnostic was only $75.  Work to reroute plumbing, drain clearing, install new sprayer nozzle $315.  Very prompt and on-time.  Also investigated a small booster system to get our pressure to where it should be.

Now if they only did electrical,, handyman, carpet cleaning, etc.!!!

If I could give 100 stars, I would. Unfortunately Yelp stopped at 5.

I was Dustin Patino's customer. I had bad smell from shower box and I hired other plumbers to come in and helped me tackle the issue, but the smell wouldn't go away. Worried there is a leak, I started finding plumbers to do a smoke bomb test.

Not all plumbers do smoke bomb test, I don't know why. It just needs a small smoke machine and it doesn't take long...maybe 15 min max. Anyway, I was thankful to find Auger Pros that agreed to do the smoke bomb test.

Dustin came out, he was friendly, courteous, explained things well to me so I understand what and why he did things. The company's motto was, the plumber women can trust and I can't agree more.

In the end, he identified the problem that we must fix.

Inside their minivan, there are racks of stuff, they carry a lot of gadget, equipment, and more so they don't have to make a run to HD or Lowes to get stuff.

Dustin has won my business, I own 2 rental homes and one primary house. I will definitely use them in the future now.

I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

I haven't written a review in a very long time but, the level of service we received was outstanding!

Jeff is a one man team. We called around 7am and he said he'd arrive between 9-11am. He was at the house at about 10:30am. Who doesn't love a plumber who's on time!?

We had a handful of projects for him:
-water heater on the fritz
-two different toilet tank problems
-two shower/bath handles not adjusting temperatures appropriately
-dishwasher overflow spout/return
-Fleck water softener installation quote

Jeff quickly diagnosed our water heater problem; replacing the control box and rod. He also fixed all of the other things before 4:15pm. He gave us an excellent price for excellent work. Wow! I was totally impressed by his knowledge, skills, commitment, and courteous manner. We will definitely be using his services again and, highly recommend him and his business.

Pathetic service! I highly unrecommend them, at least this location that is! I originally called to have them locate the clean out and clean it out. They then came the day of and I was told by a guy named Jordan that they would be able I help me find the leak but needed to find a functioning camera that they didn't have that day. I was told that they would come out the next morning. The next morning, their office staff told me they wouldn't be able to send anyone out until later, since their guy made a mistake in scheduling it for the morning, they told me that the guy that had it scheduled had that day off or was on vacation, so I had to wait until 4pm for them to come out. Another one of their guys came and worked for 2 hours, afterwards he said after using their camera and cleaning everything out, there wasn't anything wrong, except that the house had no clean out. They were originally supposed to provide me a service contract prior to starting and couldn't even provide that, they only asked me over the phone  if they could start and this was the only thing they could to get started at the time. Afterwards, the next day, I was called that they wanted to collect payment, and they hadn't even sent me an invoice, they just wanted me to pay without any invoice(here I'm thinking it's an established company). They were then charging me pretty much double of what I was originally told over the phone. When I questioned them, they were very rude and pretended as if they didn't know what I was talking about, once I chewed them out to do their own due diligence on what I was talking about, they then went and fixed their financial discrepancies and sent me an invoice(of which I had to request, otherwise they wouldn't of sent me anything).
Never again will I use this Rotor Rooter!
