Had 2 sprinkler valves that had no valve boxes and weren't working properly. Steven was able to find them and get them working again. He went above and beyond to also do additional small repairs for no extra charge. Of all the contractors I have used for various tasks around the house, this was by far my best experience. 10/10 would recommend

I highly recommend Steven's Irrigation and Repair for your next irrigation service and repair! Our water bill had tripled, which led me to eventually find 2 out of 3 valve boxes at our manifold flooded each time a station in our sprinkler system ran. Steven came out to troubleshoot and found that the glue, used by the installers during our build, which connected the sprinkler valves to the main water line was not adequately applied. He fixed the connection in both valve boxes and double checked by testing the sprinkler system to ensure it was a successful fix. I really appreciated that he took the time to do that, answer any questions I had, and provided me with very fair pricing! He values his craft and does high-quality work. I will definitely use him and his services in the future!

I have had some sprinkler issues ever since a major landscaping project last year: one zone didn't work at all, and wiring was busted in two places that caused the front yard zones to not work well.

I finally reached out for help on Yelp and Steven promptly responded and said he could come right away. Over two separate visits Steven more than proved his value by helping repair my wiring the right way, fixing sprinklers and leaks I didn't realize were broken and helping find and repair a faulty valve box. My front yard sprinklers all work again and for an AMAZING reasonable price.

When I returned home around noon, I discovered one of the zones in my sprinkler system had not shut off. The excess water had saturated my lawn and  created a mini river in the frontage street. I tried turning off the sprinklers at the control box with no success. Eventually, I had to turn off the water at the water meter box which cut off water to the entire house
I called Steven and  he advised I probably had a faulty valve that needed to be replaced. He came to my house about a half hour after our conversation, and made the necessary necessary repairs in two shakes of a lamb's tail (very quickly).
I was very pleased he was able to come out the same day so water could be restored to my house. Also, he described the repair work before he got started and quoted a fair price predicated on his work assessment.
I definitely plan on using Steven for future maintenance of my sprinkler system.

I accidentally created an ice skating rink in the street due to some kind of leak in the irrigation system. I had a plumber come out and close the valve, but they recommended I talk to an irrigation specialist since they can fix it for much cheaper. I contacted Steven and he was quick to respond and laid out clear expectations. What really surprised me was that he was able to come out the very same day I sent my request! He showed up when he said he would and got the repair done quickly. Before starting the repair, he did warn me that if the location of the leak was under the sidewalk it would cost extra. I appreciated the heads up and straight forward pricing. Fortunately it wasn't. I'd call Steven if I have problems again!

I had an irrigation pipe leak in my backyard and water was pooling and spilling out into the alley and down the street. It had been happening for days while I was out of town.
It was already late in the day and Steven agreed to come and rescue my situation even though it would mean getting there close to 5. He worked in the heat but was persistent to dig and find the problem. Not only did he repair the leak, he made a few other adjustments that posed a problem. His charge for all his hard work was more than fair. Don't bother calling around. I was highly impressed by and thankful for Steven's Irrigation & Repair.

I called Steven based on other Yelp reviews. He replied promptly, set up an appointment, and we met all within about 24 hours. My water bill had more than doubled so I guessed I had a leak in my sprinkler system. When he came we found one big leak. He said he would return in the morning to fix it. When he came he found two more substation leaks and fixed them all. I appreciated his promptness and hard work to take care of my issue.   He was very reasonable with the repair cost also.

We had Steven's come out for broken zones in our sprinkler system. We were super impressed with the work. The reason for the low rating is now that we need his services again we have not been extended the courtesy of a return call or text. Despite leaving several messages on both numbers. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. Hopefully all is well for Steven and we are the exception not the rule.

We found several breaks in our sprinkler line on a Saturday, and Steven was able to come out the same day to repair them on short notice. We were happy with his prices and quality, and I liked that he took time to thoroughly explain the repairs.

We had several problems with our sprinkler system including the controller, sprinkler heads, the valve for the drip system and we had two leaks.  Steven was responsive and got out here super fast!  He took care of everything right away and the final price was not only fair, but it fell in line with what he had quoted us.  We were blown away by the level of service, workmanship and price.  We highly recommend Steven's Irrigation & Repair.

I wouldn't waste your time looking elsewhere for your irrigation needs. We had two separate issues within the past several weeks that he was able to address promptly. One was a valve that was broken and needed to be replaced and other a wiring issue that was difficult to troubleshoot given several bad previous repairs done by either another company or bad homeowner DIY. He was persistent and able to figure out what was going on and made the necessary repairs quickly. Good dude that knows what he's doing and explains what's going on very clearly. Fair prices, and also a veteran. He's the man!

Prompt and knowledgable (certified) service, fair price - you usually don't get all 3 - Steven's is for real. I have found my irrigation specialist.

Steven responded very quickly to our request for some repairs on our sprinkler system. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very generous with sharing some tips and how-to's on our system. He was able to come out same day which was impressive. 5 stars to this company! Steven will be my first call next time I need service.

Steve was very good at brainstorming the problems with my sprinkler system. He diagnose the problem and came up with a quick solution. He was upfront and honest about what needed to be done and the price that it would cost.

I thought I had a leak in my Sprinkler system and Steven quickly got to my house, determined that I did  not have a leak where I thought but in many other locations.  He fixed all my leaks and confirm my system was working correctly before leaving.  He was friendly and very professional.  I will definitely use him again!!

I rarely give five stars, but I think Steven deserved it.  I had a good experience from start to finish.  Steven's response time was great with both call backs and same day service.  He's very knowledgeable and didn't mind explaining the faults and ins and outs of my sprinkler system.  Steven charges very reasonably and likes to quote according to the problem instead of hourly pricing.  He fixed my sprinkler system in less than 30 minutes.

Very fortunate to have found this company on a weekend. They came on an emergent basis to fix my issue. To make a long story short, I did a large scale landscaping project and after a week, many of my plants and flowers began wilting because of the heat. I tested the sprinkler system and noticed some of the sprinklers were not working. I really needed this fixed right away  so all of the new plants and flowers would not die. Steven and Ray responded immediately an came to my home in one hour. They figured out what was wrong with the sprinkler system and made some adjustments to make sure all of the plants and flowers would be watered appropriately. They went above and beyond after hour to fix this problem and help protect our investment. I highly recommend them!

Steven was awesome. Came out about an hour after I called and got right to work addressing my issue. Had to dig up a good chunk of yard and then hack away a tree root that had mangled a sprinkler line and caused a leak. Cleaned up afterwards and left me with a working sprinkler system and 60 day warranty. No trip charge and you only pay if he is able to fix the issue. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

This is my second job with Steven. I can honestly say with a mouthful that he's an honest man with excellent skills and very fair price. Straight forward and very reliable service. He did my sprinkler system maintenance for the first job and he did a perfect job. Then I had a leaking pipe under the ground outside the house close to the side walk. He actually saved me few hundred dollars doing on instead of a plumper. Even changed the 1/12 inches pipe into one inch to keep with the modern house built. Don't hesisite to call him he'll get the job done, right.

In over 50 years of home ownership we have never had a service person who exhibited a higher degree of integrity.  We would be proud and happy to recommend Steven to any of our friends or family.
We had two sprinkler problems which he quickly diagnosed as defective zone valves.  One of the repairs was extremely complicated due to tree and shrubbery roots but he found a solution.  The repair was further complicated by the fact that the shrubs had overgrown the valve box and he was still able to make the fix without any damage to the landscape.
His price was surprisingly reasonable for all the work he had to do, the hours of labor and parts required.
Steven was extremely professional, personable and courteous.  He was well spoken, and clearly explained what needed to be done.  We will rely on him for all our future irrigation service

Steven came out to fix a broken sprinkler pipe. It turned out the be 3 separate breaks. He did a fantastic job of getting everything up and running. He was extremely professional and very personable. I highly recommend Steven. He came out on the same day that we called him to solve our problem.

Our sprinkler system was damaged by a utility installation company. After the utility company sent out several crews that were incapable of properly repairing the issues they finally sent Steven out to do the job.   He is extremely knowledgeable and capable of fixing just about any issues you may have.  He showed up on time and was willing to do whatever was needed to complete the job.   Also, his pricing is very honest and reasonable.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing sprinkler repairs.

I called Steven's Irrigation and Repair and he was able to come out the same day at 7:30 that night. After a quick (and free) diagnostic Steven replaced 3 heads and also explained proper watering to me. I asked about any upgrades we might need and he explained possible improvements for a later date. He even explained how I could handle one thing on my own instead of charging me to do it.

Most sprinkler companies charge an estimate or diagnostic fee. Not Steven's Irrigation and Repair. Business done right, and business conducted honestly. His prices were extremely fair and I feel confident recommending his services to anyone in need of irrigation work.

I texted Steven a photo of my broken sprinkler head and he said he would be able to fix it within a day or two. I followed up with him via text and phone call after 3 days went by, and he completely ghosted me. I own my own business and it BAFFLES me how some of these business owners do not know anything about business...??!!!  I would have been an excellent hassle free/easy to please & repeat customer, but I will not be calling or texting this company again. Bad etiquette & did not help me at all.

I called Steven because my entire sprinkler system stopped working. He came the same day (which I appreciated). After a short look at the controller he determined that it must be a wiring problem. He used his test equipment to trace the underground wiring. I pointed out that I had dug a post hole close to a wiring junction box. He kept testing around this area. I finally ask if he didn't think the problem was in this area. He began pulling and rewrapping wires. He then began testing again because the master control valve tested bad.  As it turned out I don 't have a master control valve. When he finally tested the system the rewiring he had done it had fixed the problem. Great, I appreciate that he solved the problem. The problem. He wrapped the wiring connections that he worked on with electric tape instead of waterproof wire nuts. When I questioned this he insisted this was the best way to do it. I knew better but let it slide. I would put proper wire nuts on myself. He had also gone into a couple of other in ground boxes and rewrapped wires. The next day I decided to remove the electrical tape and put the proper wire nuts on. The tape slipped right off. Decided to check the other location he had worked on. The wires were completely bare. I added the wire nuts here as well. He had also dug a hole beside the house and disturbed some wiring this was not filled in.  I fixed this as well.  Although the problem was solved the quality of the work was far less than professional and not cheap. I felt kind of taken advantage of. Would not recommend.

Steven came on very short notice to fix a leak on the main line. The issue was explained in detail and he did an excellent job on the repair. Highly recommended.

I used Steven's Irrigation to repair a broken PVC pipe on my irrigation system and then later I had him replace one of the drip lines with sprinkler heads.  Steven seems to be knowledgable and did a decent job on the first two jobs but was terrible at communicating the basics such as the time he would be coming or responding to text, phone calls or emails.  He would just show up whenever the first two times.  I texted him to fix a broken irrigation valve that was leaking quite a bit of water into the street and he texted he would come out on Friday, five days later.  I called Steven on Thursday night and left a voice message to confirm he was coming Friday morning and I followed up with a text. Steven never responded to either.  On Friday I waited all day and made several calls (which went unanswered) and several text (which also went unanswered).  Steven never showed up, never called me back, and never texted me back.   The following Monday I called another irrigation company who came out that same day.  I see there is another review in which Steven did the same thing (promising to come out to do the repair but then fails to come out or communicate he is not coming).  I would NOT recommend Steven's Irrigation.

Steven is by far the best irrigation specialist I have used. He is honest, trustworthy and fair. He knows what he is talking about! He was able to quickly diagnose my leak and made the necessary repairs to fix the problem. I would highly recommend Steven!

We had one zone that was not working so I thought. After reading the reviews about this company, I thought I would have them come out. When I spoke to Steven, the owner, he seemed reasonable on his pricing and when he showed up he seemed eager to help us out. I explained to him that one zone was not working. During his search for that bad zone he found two other zones that did not work also and replaced some bad solenoids. On the third zone it took him some time locate it. Once he did locate it, he said that the wires going to the solenoid had a break and he would have to repair them. Because it took him some time to locate this third zone and it was late, he told us he would have to come back on Monday. I paid Steven for what he repaired and the price seemed reasonable. I had high hopes he could be our future irrigation repair company. Well as you might have guessed, Steven never showed up on Monday at the time he said he would and never called to say he was behind or got tied up on another job. When I called about an hour after his scheduled time, I had to leave a message. I then called again the next morning to see when he might be able to come back out and of course I only got his voice mail and still no returned call. So if you decide to use Steven beware that he may not show up. My guess is that repairing the broken wire was a little too much for him but I'm not really sure. Guess I will be looking for another irrigation person to make our repairs.

Steven is the man! The valve for one of our zones was damaged and the sprinker wont goes off. Steven came in with a short notice on a Friday night to get everything fixed for us. During the repair, we also noticed the control panel was defective and wiring was all jacked up. With Steven's help, I got the Rachio system installed and everything is working. He even helped us fixed a cracked pipe.  I highly recommend this fellow veteran to anyone!  A+++++

Absolutely great service. I called him, he came out about two hours later and gave us a fair price to locate and fix our leaking sprinkler piping. Within 2 1/2 hours of calling Steven our leaking pipe was located and fixed. Highly recommend.
