I don't often trust plumbers. Unfortunately, since I'm not an expert I always have to trust what they say, pay whatever they ask, and hope for the best. Not only did Luke find the issue, he showed it to us, explained it in a way that non-plumbers understand, and didn't charge us an arm and a leg. After he fixed the issue, he could have easily left and we wouldn't be the wiser. However, he went above and beyond and actually found what the root cause is with why we've had so many problems. While it will require another visit, it's the first time I've felt comfortable with a recommendation from a plumber (due to Luke's patience in explaining what was going on with our plumbing to me) and thoroughly explained our options to fix the real problem.

While I hate having plumbing issues, this is the first time in the 18 months I've lived in this house that I've felt confident we are on a path forward to fixing!

I had Tioga out to my house a few months back to do some plumbing. They we're great!
I needed some electrical work done. They were supposed to come on Thursday to give me a bid. The tech got caught up in a job that took longer than expected so I got pushed to Friday. Friday morning came and went. I called and was told that due to on demand scheduling they would be out to see me later in the afternoon.
So at almost 2 pm on Friday afternoon, I got the call that the tech was on his way. I voiced my frustration to the lady but she gave my the company line that this was on-demand scheduling and I was free to go about my day and they would gladly give me a 30-minute advanced notice.
I obviously don't understand how on-demand scheduling works but I am ok with that. From my perspective, as a customer that was supposed to be helped on Thursday, I should have been helped first thing Friday morning.

Pros:
-Upfront pricing
-resolution of two problems after calling them back out
-camera-ed my system at no charge after the error
-Carissa Stinson makes genuine efforts to hear my frustration
-warranty on work good for 12mos
Cons:
- felt like I didn't get what I initially asked for in inspection of system BEFORE installing flooring, which will now cost me time and money
- didn't perform quality inspection after work causing me to call them back out more than once
- didn't perform thorough testing/inspection of gas line to fireplace before selling me new line
- didn't provide me with requested materials for insurance and have no recorded notes of phone conversations requesting this info
Still, they have plenty of 5-star reviews. Sometimes relationships just don't work out. Might have just been a bad time for them. You may have better luck, and they might make the necessary changes so that my experience does not get repeated. This is my hope for them as I desire small, local businesses to be successful. I had really high hopes about them based on the recommendation....it just didn't work out for me.

After buying a house I had some time before move-in to get some necessary repairs and renovations done. LS Plumbing was highly recommended by a close friend. They came out as scheduled. Upfront pricing so no surprises. Pricing was high, but based on recommendation I assumed it would be good work, and I was tied up with other things. I asked for an inspection of total system, and let the tech know of a specific issue relayed to me by the seller. He diagnosed the first minor problem he saw and went no further. I asked That's all? and the tech indicted yes. I felt confident in their expertise and moved forward with installing flooring throughout the house. After move-in we had a major backup and called them back out. They diagnosed a sewer line issue under my living room slab (and brand new floor). The tech's response was wish we had known about this a month ago.....which did nothing to make me feel better about the new flooring having to be taken up at my own expense and the disruption for my family...which again, I wanted to identify and resolve BEFORE moving in. The rest of the work was poorly done and they made two more trips out to try and resolve....which could've been caught in the initial call had there been some quality control, or even a simple thorough inspection. I diagnosed on my own that they had installed a part backwards. This was also extremely frustrating as I am NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER, and they missed it TWICE before. The office manager (Mrs. Stinson) genuinely seemed to care about how their company let me down. However, there was very little accountability from Mr. Stinson beyond admitting that the work had been of poor quality.
I still have a sewer repair to complete, but I have vacillated between giving them another chance to do good work...and not giving them another penny.
Ultimately, they self-selected themselves out. I needed a quote and description of work to turn into my insurance agent for possible claim. After multiple requests (and assurances from them that they would provide) I gave up. I think they were hoping I would go away. And this review will live on the internet forever, which is a shame because nobody is perfect...and they had opportunities to get it right, but they didn't want to.

It took me almost two weeks to get a hold of someone to schedule appointment after they gave me quote. After coming to fix my plumbing issues the kitchen faucet was installed backwards and someone else had to come to fix it and install correctly. The faucet in the bathroom isn't putting out water after it was fixed, so they are sending someone else out to look at it to try to fix it. I know businesses want perfect reviews on yelp but this was my experience with this company. If you put a bad review they will ask you to remove it or change it, so they can have perfect rating. No one is perfect. I did change my score because they did try to make it right.

Our main toilet stopped up Monday afternoon. I called the company with whom we have a contract, but their next appointment was one week away! In the meantime, we couldn't use this bathroom without overflow. I called at least 5 plumbing companies and no one had openings until Wednesday. I found O'Bryan Plumbing through Yelp. They agreed to come out the next day, and they unstopped the toilet so now everything is working.
I was impressed with the manners of both plumbers, as well as their attention to cleanliness...they covered their shoes with booties and cleaned up the whole area before they left. I was SO relieved to have my bathroom back! I will call on them again for any plumbing issues.

After being quoted around $6000 by another local plumber, who told us our main line needed to be totally replaced, we decided to get a second opinion, and boy oh boy, am I glad we did!!!
Blake and his teammates Brand (I believe) and Joseph were fabulous!!!
Prompt, professional, and courteous, they managed to address and resolve the issue (roots in the pipe... I'm getting that dumb tree taken down.) in less than an hour!
And it didn't cost a fraction of the original quote.

Chance is awesome! We had a problem with broken sewage line. The first two companies quoted us over 10k for the fix. Chance knows his trade and provides a solution that solves the problem at a much affordable price. Throughout the process , he was communicative, timely and professional. At the end he was able to root cause the problem back to an error made by Spectrum years ago and we were able to make Spectrum pay for it via the claim process and photos Chance took for us! I had a leak today with a pipe under my sink and called Benton plumbing and they sent someone out, he diagnosed the problem, went and got a part and fixed the problem and the cost wasn't bad considering the water leak. I will keep their number and won't use anyone else. They are prompt and professional. Very responsible with their customer service.

I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. I had a great experience with this company. Made an appointment for an estimate to repair a cracked sewer line, the day of the appointment the company called to let me know the tech was 20 minutes away. The tech was prompt, polite and quoted me a price that was 1/3 of what 3 other companies quoted. I scheduled the work for the next afternoon (they offered to start right then but I had an appointment).
The next day the tech was on time and completed the job in just a few hours. Price was right around the quote and they did a great job!
