I found Caddell Electric through The Good Contractor's List. My need was not an emergency; therefore, being scheduled a week out was not a problem. I was called 30 minutes prior to the electricians' arrival. Lance and Elijah showed up on time, evaluated my need and provided a quote for the work. Additionally, they suggested another electrical issue that was a safety issue. They provided a quote for that work without pressuring me for the sale. I found them courteous and very knowledgeable. I will use them again if needed.

I was picking up a large piece of electrical strut from a supply house and the electrician from here was kind enough to saw-Za the 10ft piece of strut so I could fit it in my car.  Think he took pity on me watching as I tried to hacksaw it in the parking lot.

Henry was very professional during the bid process and installation.  The lights and ceiling fans he installed throughout my house look great.  It took longer than he expected due to some issues with my home.  It was no fault of his but he didn't change the price and stood by his original quote.  Will definetly use again.

Called late yesterday around 4:30pm.  They came within 30 minutes to quote the job.  All that was needed was to install a 220 wall outlet and plug for our new slide-in oven.  Fair price given so scheduled for 9:30 am today.  Showed up on time.  Job done in 30 minutes.  Happy.

I guess I'm like everybody else on Yelp.  I have used Big Bear (and he is big - about 6' 6 tall) and have nothing to say except they are the best, most honest, reasonable priced HVAC service in the Frisco - Lake Dallas - Lewisville area.  We had been using The Colony Air and they just suck.  Found Big Bear by mistake and I will use them forever if they continue as in the past.  Honest people.  Let me say that again -- these are honest air conditioning people.  Work that was done last year was less than 1/3 the rip off price of The Colony Air.  Big Bear also found and corrected creative engineering that had been done by The Colony Air that could have caused a fire.  Big bear is not only honest, they are professional, don't have an attitude, and they were four days faster at the repair than the other worthless scum bags.  This is an accurate and honest review based on our experience and opinion.  You will LOVE these guys.  Especially in Texas.  Check them out.  We have no affiliation with Big Bear.  They're just the best!!!  Thank you.  They also don't mess up your house.

We were referred to Ferguson Electric by a close friend. I put a call into Doug and he quickly returned my call and set up a time to have my pool lights looked at and a GFCI that was continuously tripping. He personally came by along with another gentleman, and promptly repaired my issue. These guys are BEST IN CLASS and BEST IN BUSINESS as far as I'm concerned. We have been needing to get some electrical work done on our house for sometime. We had an addition added to our house plus some old wiring issues that needed to be worked out. I had called several handy man services but most of them were not licensed or not bonded. I was happy to find out the Mr Electric had both of these. We were able to schedule for a quote less then a week out which I was happy to hear.  Our appointment was between 8am and 11am. I received a text message at 8:07 am stating that their tech was on his way to our house. The election showed up less then 30 minutes later. His name was Bryan and I was happy to see he was following covid rules. He was very professional and went over the cost of the job and plus the detail of what was needed to be done. Initially we only had a few things needed to be done but I was so happy to find a honest company we decided to have more work done while he was at our house. I really appreciate and recommend Mr Electric for any work that you may need completed. We are happy we finally found a trusted company. Look forward to more upcoming projects in the future. I had an electrical issue pop up this week and followed a friend's advice to call Double R. It's refreshing to see a company with very friendly employees who take the time to diagnose an issue and clearly have a lot of knowledge about their trade. The two individuals on my service call were very proud of their work and did a great job (for a very reasonable price). I know who I am calling from now on for any job!

Very prompt and very professional! They didn't leave a mess and were very reasonably priced. I'll use them again if I've any need for an electrician.

Found this company in an online search for electricians near me.  When I called they are in Houston, but said they have techs in Dallas area.  I had a simple outdoor outlet where the GFCI kept popping.
The tech arrived, very professional.  When he started showing me info on his ipad about the company.  I knew I was not going to like what was coming next.  He showed me that he had to do a complete diagnostic on that outlet and what it hooks up to for the lovely price of 350.00 JUST to diagnose!!!  I paid 1/2 that to have the outlet installed!  Needless to say I told him to leave!

I was driving home on I 20 E today and I was in the slow lane. A McBride employee came flying up behind me. S/he tailgated me even though I was going between 70-75 mph, flashed their brights at me, &, when s/he decided to go around me, they weaved in & out of traffic at dangerous speeds & never once used their blinkers. I would expect that they would train their employees to follow all the rules of the road, and sadly, I was wrong.

Richardson Ready Electric is well represented through Epifenio and Sean. They installed a outdoor fan for my back porch and did a prompt, professional and outstanding job. Both RRE reps were friendly, knowledgeable and definitely knew what they were doing! I recommend RRE to all as they do good work and for Avery reasonable price!

If I could give no stars I would. We contacted Mr. Carter to hire him for one of our properties. We texted him and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. He actually got upset because we asked basic questions. He had the audacity to say, too many questions and. I can't take you seriously. I was baffled by the lack of professionalism. He even tried to charge us more because we are in California. We've hired several contractors to look at our property in Dallas and never have I heard of a charge for being in a different state. I can't take an electrician who can't answer basic questions like, how much do you charge? seriously. It was a horrible interaction and he definitely will not get our business nor does he deserve yours.

****Update**** Then he texted me the next morning being very childish. Just more evidence of how unprofessional he is.

They wasted my day.  They promised to send someone for an estimate.  I take time off from work then at the end of the day they don't show up and when I call back they tell me that I did not have an appoitment!!  Very unprofessional and I will not be using them.

This is absolutely the worst electrician company out there. The tech by the name of Hunter came to my house and did absolutely nothing to fix my outlet and then tried to charge me for 5 hours and some random materials. I then called the office and spoke to a girl names Sarah who was absolutely no help and hung up on me. She said that she knows the tech fixed the issue and it must be my fault its broken again. I also got Jamon and he is the rudest person Ive ever talked to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I am selling my house and needed a closet fuse and two lights fixed. I was told by 6 other companies it would be next week. I needed today Wednesday. Not only did he come out he fixed everything!

These guys are great. I've used them several times. The most recent time they installed an exhaust fan in my garage workshop. The amazing thing, besides their great work, being on time, and getting finished quickly, was that they came in UNDER the estimate! Zowie! How often does that happen???

A#1 Air is probably the most recognizable HVAC company in DFW due to advertising.  This is probably the reason why they are ridiculously overpriced.  I can deal with things being expensive but they try to trick the consumer into paying more, similar to a shady car mechanic taking advantage of naive customers. Here's my story:

My AC went out in the middle of summer.  Hell on Earth.  I called A#1 because I see them everywhere and all over their website it used to say  free estimates.  The guy came out to basically inform me that my 17 year old unit needed to be replaced which I had already assumed.  He drafted his estimate which was devastatingly expensive.  In the estimate it included a a Goodman brand unit which is regarded as a budget unit.  He also was going to include a brand new concrete slab for the unit to sit on.  Oddly, their was about a $95 service fee that I needed to pay then and there which I refused  and he quickly removed that from the bill after I had to call him out on the free estimate offer.  Of course he was accommodating because he was doing his best to sell me his services

I luckily got 2 other quotes from other companies.  Both HVAC companies warned me of A#1.  Both technicians explained to me that the concrete slab actually comes with the unit.  Meaning the A#1 guy was pitching the slab like he was hooking me up but it actually just comes along with the unit from the factory.  Its literally part of the unit.

I went with the other company and paid $1500 less than the A#1 air quote and did not get the budget Goodman unit that A#1 tried to sell me.  I ended up getting a higher caliber GE model.  So really I probably saved a little over 2 grand by not using A#1 and that is about 40% of my purchase price.  

Something has to pay for all of that advertising.  Now they are giving away a muscle car and have hired the celebrity guy from a Hot Rod Show on Discovery to do commercials.  By all means, if you want to pay 40-50% more so they can giveaway hot rods and pay celebrity endorsers go with A#1.  Just please please get a second quote.  Make sure you get the A#1 air quote first so that the technician from the other company can go over it with you.
