These are my go-to electricians for problems both big and small.  I really appreciate the women on the phone when I call needing an appointment.  They always manage to schedule me quickly, even though I have a complicated schedule.  They arrive in marked company service trucks. The electricians call before knocking on the door, which is also nice.  They typically work very quietly and quickly.  I've never been disappointed.

I'm a big fan of this company.  My only suggestion might be to add the extra touch of cleaning up around where they worked.  Lots of other home services do that, and it really is a nice touch.  But that's a minor point.  I'll continue to use this company for all my electrical needs.

Andrew came and installed some pendant lights, chandelier, and a high ceiling fan for us same day. He was on time, efficient, and even gave us some added advice on some other projects. He was knowledgeable and very respectful of our home. I would absolutely use theirs services again and recommend them for any electrical work in your home or business.

I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. Victor did an outstanding job replacing wiring and upgrading and moving my electrical panel to ensure it was up to code. He did a great job, kept me updated on progress and finished ahead of schedule. If I ever need electrical work done again, Victor and Custom Electric will be my first call. Great company.

Was very impressed with the work Gravity Electric provided at our new subdivision home. I had requested several dedicated 20amp electrical lines be installed in our garage for woodworking power tools. Pearce, the electrician, was very conscientious, meticulous, responsive, and a great communicator. He was also very prompt for all the appointments. He was able to provide a solution with a seamless installation. He also took the time to explain everything he was doing and the reasons why. I would definitely utilize the company again for future projects. Their price was extremely competitive and great value for the money.

These folks did a great job on electric service required for our Pool. Attic insulation had to removed in area that Pool pump electrical needed to out. Once Pool pump was up and operational, we called to have the attic insulation repaired to original state. They came right out and did a great job moving all the disturbed insulation back in place. We are now ready for winter!  Have also used them for breaker replacement in the main service panel.

We just bought a new home and our realtor recommended we use Bolen to fulfill many needs before we moved in. They came before we were out of our option period and provided a very thorough inspection (way better than our home inspector). Bolen uncovered many issues in our 1960's build where remodeling hadn't been done correctly or things weren't up to code. Once we took possession of the home, they came in and fixed everything before we moved in. The technicians were pleasant and thorough. I feel like my home is safe. We're continuing to build a list of things we need future help with (switches and new lights, etc) to have them come out for a second trip in the months to come.

I cannot make the review lower than 1 star.  Our tech was scheduled between 2-4 PM, but apparently tried to show up at 1:40 when we were not here.  He made no attempt to call either of us.  I took time away from work to meet this tech at my house.  After we arrived at 2 and called the office / dispatcher who spoke to the tech.  He lied, telling her he arrived and nobody answered and he attempted to call me.  I asked for the tech to come back because we had the appointment time booked, and he refused to call me back.  I will not do business with people who lie and are unprofessional.

Great company here in DFW. I've owned many homes and wish I would've known about them a long time ago. We've replaced our central HVAC system with them, now use them for service and maintenance. If you are needing anything to do with AC or heating call IME

We have used C&B Electric twice now for both ceiling fan and light installations and our experience has been wonderful. From scheduling the visit with the office through the quoting and installation process. We were fortunate to have Kerrie perform both jobs and his professionalism and expertise is second to none. We will continue using C&B for all our electrical needs.

The contractor showed up late and spent maybe 20 minutes
listening to our problems to be solved and in that time fixed
a faulty 3 way switch (the easiest to solve) and left.  The more
major problems were left to our confusion as to why we called
them in the first place and why $160.00 got us to our stupidity
and distrust for all contractors in Dallas.  They are without
integrity and the expected professionalism from our community.

I had Speedy Electric come out a couple of years ago to put in a electric panel which cost $4,000.  This cost also included replacing all the junction boxes in the attic.  Fast forward to today, my dishwasher quit working and it turns out to be a junction box that they missed when they did the big job a couple of years ago.  It seems reasonable to me for them to fix this for free since I already paid for them to re-wire all the junction boxes.  I'm not upset that they missed one of the boxes but only that they are being difficult in backing up their work.  They wanted $169 to fix it but agreed to do it for $85 after I went back and forth with them.  Just be aware that they don't necessarily back up their work and are not customer friendly.  If you refund the $85 and stand by your work, you will have a happy customer.

Rude and unconcerned after multiple contacts to schedule and reschedule and reschedule. Never call never use list! Wow, they need serious customer service training or get out of the business!

I hired Jim Hicks to Install 2 lights for my camera back of an envelope to be hot at all times and repair 1 dusk to dawn light and quoted me on paper $201.50.   However, he wired them to the dusk to dawn lights which was not what I wanted.  He did the back yard and fixed the light under the carport and charged me $220.00.  Then said he would be back and give me a bill.  He showed up on the 13th which was Sunday and did not call and put an illegal connector on my front light which would have gotten me a ticket from the City of Dallas. and charged me an additional $40.00.  I then had to hired another electrician to fix the problem.  He also did not wire the back correctly and they had to fix it because the wires were hanging out.  The second electrician cost me $639.99.  I beleive he owes me that money.  He did not do what he agreed to do and ripped me off and did not give me a bill.  DO NOT USE THIS GUY.  He also made me lose $55.00 on my home warranty due to his lack of respect and no bill.
