Great experience with Raines Electric in getting a manual control switch installed for a portable generator. My contact person was Brian.  We communicated via text, as it was easier for me to send him pictures to get an estimate for the job. He was quick to reply, provided very reasonable rates, and the technician arrived on time. Michael and James were on time and installed the manual control switch. I had some questions about the install and sent a picture to Brian. He wasn't particularly happy with the install, and he arranged for Randy to make the necessary corrections to the the positioning of the manual control switch to make it safer. I'm very happy with Brian's response and with the company. Raines was referred to me from one of my neighbors, and I in turn, recommended them to another neighbor. I needed a new construction metal building wired. Reached out to me quickly which is become more rare these days. The estimator came out and gave me a detailed quote. He even gave me some suggestions that were very helpful. Their prices were very fair and below several other estimates I received. The work was done quickly and very professionally. I have used this company twice now and excellent service both times. The electrician was prompt, courteous. and knew exactly how to fix my problem, both times i called them to my house. Extra parts are on the truck so they get the job done faster than other electricians.

I had Tioga out to my house a few months back to do some plumbing.  They we're great!

I needed some electrical work done.  They were supposed to come on Thursday to give me a bid.  The tech got caught up in a job that took longer than expected so I got pushed to Friday.  Friday morning came and went.  I called and was told that due to on demand scheduling they would be out to see me later in the afternoon.  

So at almost 2 pm on Friday afternoon, I got the call that the tech was on his way.  I voiced my frustration to the lady but she gave my the company line that this was on-demand scheduling and I was free to go about my day and they would gladly give me a 30-minute advanced notice.

I obviously don't understand how on-demand scheduling works but I am ok with that.  From my perspective,  as a customer that was supposed to be helped on Thursday, I should have been helped first thing Friday morning.

We hired them this past summer to update our house before we sold it. The electrician was prompt, courteous, and efficient. The charges were reasonable as well. We definitely recommend them

If I could give a negative star I would!  I had to completely redo the work he did!  Showed up late did messy terrible work and waisted thousands of my $!  Stay away!  I literally have never left a negative review but just had to do others from Lyle!

I had called for repair of a light switch on my vent-a-hood over my cook top.  Cody was very polite and got right to the problem area.  He said they were having trouble finding  a comparable switch.  When they finally found one he informed me that it would be over $350.00 to repair the light switch.  Since I can buy a new vent-a-hood for about $450.00 with installation I was shocked..  I initially said that I would let them repair the switch but own further consideration I have decided to have another electrician give me an estimate.

Stay away if you want to keep your money!! They quoted me 1650.00 for a job where 3 others quoted between 500.00 and 800.00.  I don't know if they quoted so high because they didn't want the job or just trying to rip people off.  Definitely will not be calling them back for anything

Be aware! We had Very bad experience! If I could give 0 I would! Our walking freezer had been fixed 2 weeks ago. It took 2 hours for young inexperienced guy to add freon he didn't know what kind of Freon he needs! He called to the company to ask about it!  They still charged us for 2 hours of work. But problem was not fixed because freezer didn't freeze well. We called yesterday again . Technician came took everything apart and left. He said he would come come back the next day but he didn't. Our freezer didn't work at all since technician left because of them. I called to the owner he was rude on the phone and denied that they touched the freezer. They messed it up and didn't  know how to fix it and they don't want to pay for their mistakes!
