I had a number of electrical problems and they came out same day. They worked very fast and obviously knew what they were doing. Super efficient. Took care of four problems in about 30 minutes. Jeff was team leader, with 2 helpers. Very nice guy and very knowledgeable. He doubled checked everything before he left and showed me all is operational.

I will be invoiced so I don't know what the bill is, but just based on the speed and efficiency I was favorably impressed. They actually clean up after themselves and treat your house with respect! When is the last time that happened?

If the bill is reasonable I have found a new electrician for life. Plus, since I live in Lake Highlands, I definitely believe in supporting local business.

I tried contacting these folks multiple times. A somewhat curt and rude woman named Conny said she'd take our info down and have the owner call us. Two days passed so I left another message with her. She seemed disorganized and sure enough a week later I did not hear back.

I would not waste time trying to hire these folks. It doesn't sound like they are client oriented or responsive from my experience.

Do not use this company. They sent a subcontractor and installed an outdoor outlet that is not weatherproof and left a hole uncovered in the installation-(not child safe).

I mistakenly thought I hired Lake Highlands Electric, owned by Kenny Whitehead at Lake Highland Electric on Dilido but called Lake Highland Electrical by Jeffrey R.

Lake Highland Electric is NOT the same as Lake Highland Electrical.

I contracted LHE to do some fairly detailed electrical work and updating of existing wiring for an extensive remodel. The contract was sub contracted to Retro Electric out of West Ft.Worth / Weatherford area.
Mr. Charlie Reyes was the lead for the job. It was communicated early that the job would require several return visits to the site to finalize the electrical portion, due to numerous contractors completing other aspects of the project first. Mr. Reyes agreed to return as needed to ensure the electrical install was complete.
The initial instal was completed but the two follow up appointments were like pulling teeth to get coordinated. Mr. Reyes is a very poor communicator and repeatedly fails to just communicate with his customers on simple business practices to complete commitments.
We scheduled the final install of ceiling fans, can lightning and floor receptacle covers 4 times over the course of three week. Each time canceling after the scheduled arrival time. I would have easily met his schedule just to close this project but he never stepped up to coordinate a convenient time. He cited car trouble, two last minute emergencies, then a promised time based on his availability, that he confirmed then, never showed. I understand life throws curve balls sometimes and scheduling has to change ..... What I don't understand is a lack of communication and follow through with ones customer's to ensure professionalism and integrity of the name and business.
Numerous promises to follow through, each time with no communication until we reached out to inquire on where he was and what to expect! I am currently trying to get some sort of communication from him as we speak ....... Crickets!!
This is maybe an hour and a half, two hours of easy electrical work, and the job would be complete!

they don't show up to the appointments and their customer service representative sounds like a robot,  no apologies, no explanation for why their price for just a visit went up from $75 to $85 within 2 weeks. Plus the owner ignored my email complaining about no show.

I witnessed a man in a giant Mercedes van with this company's information on the side weaving in and out of traffic on Buckner Blvd and tailgating every car he encountered.   Dangerous and aggressive driving in a company van while disregarding the safety of others is a direct reflection of this company's ethics and values.   I would not trust this company based on this employee and his poor behavior.  There are hundreds of electrical companies in the Dallas area.  Choose another.

This is the only place I call if I have electric issues. They have helped me so much over the past four years. I appreciate Kenny and Kenny Jr and anyone they send. They are very reasonable. Great customer service.

Kenny and his team are the best. Honest, reasonable, and excellent electricians. We have used them for several years at our home and renovations we have done in East Dallas. The work they do is excellent and I have recommended them to many folks. The range of work has been from new panels and all new  wiring to installing under counter lights in the kitchen.

This company was referred to me by a contractor that I use.
I had an electrical outlet that arcing and this was not something to screw around with.

I called them and they came out the following day. They looked at everything and told me that I had a loose and fraying wire. They fixed everything and then checked it all again to make sure everything was working before they left.
It is been a couple months and I've had no problem with the outlet sense!

These guys seem like good old, hard-working country guys and I would trust them with any estimate or work they did. The price they charge was fair because I don't mess with electricity!
I don't feel that I was ripped off in any way.

Oh my gosh... Kenny I guess the owner came the same day.
I am selling my house and needed a closet fuse and two lights fixed. I was told by 6 other companies it would be next week. I needed today Wednesday. Not only did he come out he fixed everything!
He is the old Dallas Southern tradition....Thank you Lake Highlands Electric!

When told I couldn't have an appointment for another week, I told the person that I would need to call another company because I needed the job completed a.s.a.p. The electrician said he could come out that afternoon. I was impressed. I needed a switch repaired and a chandelier replaced for a rental property. He came to the property without the proper tools to do either job so made an appointment the following week to return and do the repairs. I asked about a large plastic light cover that had cracked and he said he could take it with him to find a replacement. He no-showed the next appointment. A few days later I received a message that LS Electric would be at the property to make repairs. I called back and said I had called another company. Kenny, the owner called me back to find out what had happened and I told him the problem. After a couple of weeks I'd realized they still had my plastic cover and called asking them about it. And I called again. Then my husband called and spoke to Kenny. Kenny told my husband I had requested them to destroy it. My husband responded that it made no sense for me to say this. Kenny then began using profanity and my husband ended the phone call.
