Update: The owner called to discuss my reasons for a previously low  rating. He agreed to waive the Service Call fee since I am willing to have my AC equipment at my properties serviced by his company. This reflects the willingness to talk with customers about their grievances and the company's integrity and its service commitment.

Previously: Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with this company. After reading the good reviews on Google, I was hoping that this company would be my go-to company; however it didn't turn out that way. My AC wasn't working so I called and they were very reasonable with their service call price and response; however, the technician didn't know how to fix the issue so he said he would send more experience tech out. In the mean time, I found out through my family that the EcoBee has a software glitch that was the  cause of my problem. I was able to fix the AC on my own so I called Enoch back the same day to tell them and left a message since no one answered the phone. Ten days later, I received a bill for the service call. I asked them to waive the service call fee since I was the one who fixed the AC and that they never even sent another tech out. Their reply was NO, I may pay the service call fee. I have to pay for the service call even though they didn't even know what the problem was nor knew how to fix it. Let me see, I have 4 properties that they could provide yearly maintenance on (and I told them this) but they chose to charge me $65 and forgo all future work on my 4 properties. I found Aldrin Electrical Services almost by accident; they don't advertise and rely only on referrals and word of mouth, so my typical method of finding the best help via Yelp would not have worked out for me.

However, when I bought my new house, the seller passed along Aldrin's information, since he had done the wiring, lighting, fixtures, and a bunch of other work here. We were having issues with one switch that behaved somewhat erratically, so I figured i'd reach out to him and see what he could do.

Aldrin was professional, responsive, and made time to come look at our issue a few days later. He saw a couple fixes that were needed. finished the job quickly, cleaned up after himself thoroughly, and did not charge us anything since they had done the work previously. Always great to find people who stand behind their work.

Gary came out to fix some electrical problems after a lightning strike.  He was professional, knowledgeable and had everything back up and running in no time.

These guys were great! They came out the same day I called for an appointment and were very reasonable on price. The contractors who came to my house were friendly and were extremely helpful in answering any questions I had.

Overall the shut off was installed well, but the new AC system no longer worked and after calling Baker Bros. they assured me only 120 was connected, not 240. When I brought this to attention of 5th Generation, they wanted another service charge ($245). I researched and found the neutral wire was acting as a supply and had been disconnected and moved to the neutral bar. I moved it back and the AC works fine now. P.S. I put black tape on it to indicate supply, since in 2011 law had changed regarding using a neutral as a supply. Also 2 screws to install meter protruded between group of 20 wires, doesn't look up to code. Maybe I will get apology and then I can remove this review as it looks like usually exceptional quality work from other reviews.

I have been having trouble with my A/C and had two different quotes.  The second one told me it was an electrical problem with my breaker box and I needed to have an electrician come out and look at it.  After two lousy a/c guys I was worried about what these people would tell me.  They guy listened to me and knew I was going on day 2 without air.  He came out checked all the electrical circuits and told me my breakers were fine.  No extra charge, no taking advantage.  He also recommended a reputable A/C guy that I will be calling next!  Finally a trustworthy repairman!

Mr. Stevens owner and licensed electrician of Safety Electric is a wizard and thorough man for finding the most difficult of sneaky circuits that have failed.  Our house was built in 1936 and as such has its share of quirks, but no more in the electrical department thanks to Mr. Stevens.  In addition to his electric skills, and willing to stay until its done, his prices cannot be beat.  Look no further when seeking an electrician.

I am upset with Baker Brothers right now as I scheduled an appointment for an ac checkup on 5/30/19.  First open appointment would be 6/4/19 in the afternoon.  They would call before coming out.  It is 5:20pm and still no call from them if they are coming or not.  I called again the number from the tv ad and spoke to Macy and she advised that they had a problem with another ac not cooling but they would probably still be out this evening.  I asked about tomorrow as I waited here all day.  She said they could come out tomorrow in the afternoon, no appointment time, but would call before coming.  I don't understand if you service the metroplex, do you not have someone else that could meet my appointment?  Very poor service.  Unhappy customer
