its a Saturday, and i cut a wire that blows out some wiring up in the ceiling.   of course i want to get someone out as quick as possible, so i call around -- most companies weren't available on Saturdays (even if their ad says they are).  Finally, i call DyTek.  Master electrician Justin Dyess returns my call, and comes over to fix the problem.  He shows up with a truck that was well equipped enough to handle seemingly any electrical situation - so there were no trips to the store to get something he didn't have -- he had it all.  He assessed the problem and determined what needed to be done.  The area had some old mangled and tangled  wiring and old connections which needed to be replaced and organized.  Although my carelessness was the straw that broke the camel's back  and caused the short;  the old and disarrayed wiring was certainly a contributing factor.  Mr. Dyess was extremely knowledgeable about new and old wiring, and how to make it safe, effective and not dangerous.  This entire situation may have been a blessing in disguise, because faulty wiring like that can spell TROUBLE if not corrected in time. He was not only able to fix the short, but also replaced a faulty light and wall switch.
I am thankful that I was lucky enough to have called this particular company; that they truly are a 24 hour (including weekends) service; that the Electrician was Extremely knowledgeable, and able to Explain and show me  what was going on with the wiring; and that the price was so good for such great quality work.
everything in the area seems to be working better than ever.
i will for sure call them, first thing, next time electrical services are needed.

I'd like to also say he was a great electrician and prompt to return calls. But the truth is he never returned my call from 2 weeks ago nor my text from one week ago.

Anna's Electric is AWESOME! Her guys showed up right on time, confirmed what I wanted repaired and then got right to work.  Every one of her employees was friendly, knowledgeable and they took the time to answer all of my questions.  Anna herself showed up later and pitched in. She too was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me what she was doing. I was thrilled when I received the bill because I expected to be charged WAY more than I was. Her guys were here for almost three hours and they did a LOT of work.  I paid less than half what I thought I'd be paying!  Just before Anna left she asked me if I was happy with her crew and the work they did. Amazing service and quality work. These guys went over and above to make sure that the job was done well. They took time to explain the workings of my new fixtures and replace some old bulbs. The work was affordable and completed promptly. I will keep their number close by for the future!

They were able to come out the same day.  Tyler was the electrician that came to look at our situation.  Even though I ended up not using them, they were very professional and very knowledgeable.

Thanks to Forney Electric my dishwasher works.
We had an electrical outlet go bad behind our dishwasher and had no power. They got us fixed up and dishwasher is working well.

During quarantine, my kitchen light attempted to start a rave (flickering) and I wasn't having any part of it. After sending out service quotes to different electricians via yelp, I was messaged by Paul (owner) who had same day availability. Discussed with Paul over the phone regarding my problem and the potentials of what it could be along with general pricing. Tyler (electrician) was very thorough and consistently communicated issues and solutions. My light was fixed within two hours. It has been about a week since the fix and I have not had any issue. I remain impressed with their communication and professionalism :)

We had a list of electrical problems around our house. I called on a Wednesday morning, left a message, and he returned my call Wednesday afternoon as promised. We set an appointment time about a week later, and Craig arrived in the stated window he said he would.

In the course of just under 2 hours, Craig resolved a dinking noise in our living room (cause by a thermal overload switch that had been disconnected but not removed) which required both patience and a trip to the attic, re-wired a ceiling fan that had a remote that stopped working and wired to wall switches, removed the very old timer for our front porch light and replaced with a simple on/off switch, and repaired a blinking light in our master bath (also caused by the thermal overload switch).

Craig is personable and helped talk us through a variety of solutions for future projects and provided quotes for that work. As a licensed professional myself, I did check that Craig is registered with the Texas Dept of Licensing and Regulation and his Master Electrician license is valid and active.

We were very happy with the total price of $165 for this service- I'm thrilled to have things working more smoothly in our house. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician's help!

Rico and Jason came after I received quotes from several Big Name McKinney electrians submitted unbelievable and outrageous quotes for my job. Don't let these other electricians try to scare you. In a day and time where it is hard to find honorable men, I found two with Rico and Jason. They came when they said they would. Completed the job without seeming like they were trying to catch a bus. They also did the job for what was originally quoted. By the way Rico did the job for $1,000.00 less than other electricians in McKinney.WHAT THE ..... yep. You heard me. So what are you waiting for?

Ok so talk about being skeptical on Yelp from others review BUT LET ME TELL YOU !! These guys are the REAL DEAL top notch professionals and KNOW what they are doing.  They were respectfully timely, kept a clean workspace, kept me informed, was paced to complete the job timely and charged me beyond FAIRLY!!   I was comfortable with them coming out during Covid as they were all masked up.  On top of this all it was last minute and consideration was given to me due to my broken foot. Thank you 308 So much for meeting beyond my needs.
