In 1974, cast iron piping was all the rage in residential home plumbing, specifically the sewer line. After living in my home for ten years, I'd noticed something interesting - the sewer line had broken in a number of places, thanks to a shifting foundation, an unwisely planted live oak, and just normal wear and tear. So when I needed my sewer line repaired, I asked my realtor for a recommendation and he said, call Aubrey.
Aubrey Foundation repair came out, inspected the sewer line, and pretty much declared it DOA. I agreed. The made their recommendations, and after getting a second opinion, I went with Aubrey. Up to that point, they were just competent. But once the digging started, that's when everything changed.
Aubrey Plumbing dug a tunnel under the house to reach the bathroom nexus. Then, instead of just cutting off the iron pipes and attaching new PVC, they removed the toilets and the shower drains, chopped out the rotting crap, installed new flanges and pipe going through the foundation, and put everything back so perfectly that you'd never have known there had been a problem. The foreman even put down plastic and invited me INTO THE TUNNEL, so that I could see the new plumbing and take pictures. Extra cleanouts were installed and they even spread the extra dirt around on low points of my yard.
It was the little things that impressed me the most about Aubrey Plumbing. Their attention to detail, their professionalism, but also THEIR PRIDE. I mean, these guys were PROUD of their work. Hopefully I never need another sewer line rerouted, but if I do, I know who I'm calling.

Talk about a great plumbing company in Mesquite, Great Service Plumbing is awesome. Our sewer line was overflowing into the yard. These guys came out and repaired our water / plumbing lines in no time - even though they had to dig 8 feet down into the yard. This quality plumbing company did a great job and I highly recommend them.

My boiler broke up in the freezing weather and this company's plumber broke me advice over the phone which meant I could fix the problem myself-but I knew he 'd come out if I really needed him to. Super fantastic!

I contacted nearly a dozen plumbers to disconnect my water well and attach my home to the county's city water line. Shane's Plumbing was the ONLY company willing to do the job and they did a stellar job. As my well started to fail I was stressed about how to keep running water in my home. Shane gave me a number of options and was always willing to answer questions and walk me through every step. What I anticipated being an overwhelming amount of work (and cost) need up being an easy job for Shane's Plumbing.

They are the best. They go above and beyond each time I need something. On top of that, they are reliable and very skilled.

Fast, competitive bid, excellent communication. I posted the job on Home Advisor to review the condition and cost to replace 5 HVAC units on our commercial building in Allen, TX (we are out of state owners). Sammer from Go Heating responded the same day. He was on the roof of our commercial building the VERY NEXT DAY. The day after that I had a thorough, easy to understand, fairly priced bid in hand. He detailed the make and model of each unit, when it was installed, its current condition, when it would need to be replaced and what the cost would be to replace and maintain.
We were negotiating with our tenant as to who would be responsible for the HVAC. It took over a month. During that time, I had many texts, emails and calls with Sam; he unfailingly got back to me the same day. As it turns out, our tenant will retain HVAC responsibility, however, should we ever need a HVAC company, Go Heating & Air will be our first call.
I highly recommend this company and in particular, Sammer. He is hardworking and honest. It is a relief to have someone of his caliber on the ground when we are so far away who is easy to communicate with, has competitive pricing and is excellent at what they do. You can't go wrong with Go Heating & Air.

Very honest and upfront. They informed me that they could not do anything about the flush and if I wanted to get a power flush toilet. I informed him that if it became a problem I will order one. They did not charge me because no work was done. Highly recommend!

There are two things that make a company one that I want to work with. The first is the quality of their work. The second is the business side. Are they punctual, polite, quick and accurate in pricing, etc.
We have had two experiences with Classic Plumbing. The first was a few months ago when we needed a new hot water heater and needed it to be moved to a new location. Their plumber came out to assess our needs and the next day we received a written quote to replace and move the hot water heater. The next week when the plumber returned to do the work, he said the quote was only to move it, not to replace it. That made no sense because our old hot water heater was from 1978. After a few calls to the office and showing a copy of their quote, they did honor it, even though they had to eat that loss. The plumber did a good job and the hot water heater works great. But, there continued to be communication issues between the plumber and the office. He did not finish the job in 1 day so he told us he would return the following day. I stayed home and my kids stayed home during a summer vacation day. At about 1 I finally called the office and they said the plumber had not informed them that he did not finish so we were not on the schedule. That was a Friday so we had no hot water heater until the weekend when they returned on Monday. ANd my kids and I had to stay home again. It was frustrating. So, the quality of their work was 5 stars but the organization and frustration lowered that rating to 2 stars.
This week we had another experience with Classic Plumbing. We are doing a remodel and adding a bathroom where a previous owner removed it. We decided to have the old pipes looked at and replaced. 2 plumbers from Classic came out in a timely manner. They were polite and easy to work with. They got under the house to take notes and I was told I would have an estimate first thing the next morning (Friday). Friday at 3:30 I was called and told that it would not be ready until Monday morning and work could begin Tuesday. On Monday, we were still delayed but I was assured that they would have it first thing Tuesday and they would still come do the work that day. This was delaying our other construction so we were anxious to get work started. Tuesday morning they called to give me the quote and I felt like he was coming up with it while on the phone well, I think the plumber said it would take 2-3 days and at a rate of $210 an hour for 2 plumbers to work on it, it would be...lets see.. I guess about $6000 What!!!??? It took 2 business days plus a weekend to shoot off a number on the fly just an hour before they were supposed to show up? Well, that was $2000 MORE than a corporate plumber that the Classic Plumber assured me they would come in under. So, I told Classic Plumbing that this would be our last phone call.
So, if you need good work but are willing to suffer through those issues, this is a great plumber. But, I do not have time for it!

Our Plumber, Chris, from DeWolfes Affordable Plumbing was prompt and professional. He was very personable and attended to our issue with efficiency and knowledge. The office staff was courteous and helpful. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs!

UPDATE May 2023: return visit to get same replacement shower faucet cartridge I bought in 2016. Plus a toilet handle for one that just broke. I called day before with part nr. from prior invoice and they confirmed they had item in stock. I bought two just in case but will probably leave one behind when sell house for next owner since part hard to get. See photos I posted. Plenty of parking on side of building see sign.

Called this company yesterday as we are needing a plumber ASAP. We spoke to someone and they said they would call back in a hour to let us know what was available. After waiting a little over an hour my husband had to call back only to be told they would get back to us with a time. Here it is next day at 9:04 and still have not heard back. Poor customer service. Will not be doing business with this company.
