I recently needed help from Electricians On Call (ETC) and my experience was absolutely fantastic.  Overall, ETC for me is synonymous with service, value, and quality.  I think that these attributes are rarely mentioned in the same sentence, but ETC has managed to strike the right balance to offer customers the five star experience that so many have consistently rated here on yelp.

What I needed help with:
I had taken down a ceiling fan but the wiring in the ceiling was an absolute mess.  I couldn't figure out to connect the wiring despite having installed already a dozen lights.  After numerous futile attempts, I finally gave up and decided I needed help.

What makes ETC great:
1. Dedication to customer service :
a. When I called ETC, Dave (the owner) picked up the phone (despite being late in the evening) he tried to help me diagnose and solve the problem over the phone to help me avoid the cost for him to come out.  When I ultimately couldn't figure it out, he made sure that he could make it out the next day
b. I actually needed ETC's help twice.  After Dave figured out and resolved my problem, I accidentally caused another issue.  Same thing happened again.  He tried to help me out over the phone, and when all else failed, he came late in the evening because I didn't have power to half my house.  Just incredible.

2. High bar for quality work :
a. It is evident that ETC has a ton of experience. After just 15 minutes, Dave completely diagnosed and solved my wiring problem.  It was such a relief.  However, even after solving my wiring crisis, Dave didn't just leave me with the mess of wires hanging from the ceiling.  He spent time to clean up the wires to make it clean and easy for me to access afterwards.  I thought that was extremely considerate because it did make hanging the ceiling fixture afterwards so much easier.
b. In the second incident, when Dave came out, he similarly solved my problem in less than 10 minutes.  I consider myself a bit handy so it was quite a relief when he figured it out quickly and helped restore power to our house.

3. Value : Despite ETC's impeccable reputation and seemingly high demand for their services, they seem to maintain very fair and reasonable pricing.  I would have expected a company that seems so buttoned up and high quality would charge more than a no-name competitor.  I had called around and ultimately decided that the sterling reviews and reasonable offering made the choice a no-brainer.  After my ETC experience, my thoughts were completely validated.

I hope that I never have another issue in the future, but definitely if I ever have any electrical needs, ETC will be my first and only call.

Mike was immediately available, gave accurate quote prior to arrival, and he had to go get a ceiling medallion for a fan install and was kind enough not to charge me for it. Definitely recommend.

I hired Hang Pros to install an electrical outlet and mount my 50 inch TV. Kwame and his son did a fantastic job. He went over and beyond my expectations.  He was prossfesional, and I was so impressed that I had him hang curtains in my home office. The price that I paid was reasonable, and I appreciate his recommendations regarding all of the services he provided.  I am delighted,  and I will certainly use them again. I highly recommend them.

Called them up about a backup generator and the lady could not give me a quote and said that everyone is out on jobs and could not help me. My advise? Save yourself some time and try someone else

I rarely give 5 stars anymore. Doug deserves 10. When I say he was God sent, that is the truth. I needed an honest, reliable and heaven sent vendor today. Long story short, prayers answered. Beyond being one of the nicest people I have met in a long time, he was so incredibly kind & generous.

I reached out last night for a breaker issue. He responded first thing this morning, made time for me in his schedule to come and look at my issue without a cost.

He gave me an honest assessment of my issue, told me what next steps would help in the event that I have another power surge and he fixed my outlet box.

To top this off, he saw an issue with my electrical box outside and stayed with me while I called Oncor to fix it. I am blessed to have found him. If you need an electrician, look no further.

He has those 5 stars for a reason. I have him on speed dial and my search for an electrician is over.

I am very pleased with a recent experience I had with Frisco Electric.  In particular the electrician that came to service our account, Aaron.  The other night my husband accidentally cut a wire on our Christmas lights which in turn tripped up the breaker.  After trying to fix the problem ourselves to no avail, we called Frisco Electric and another company to give us a quote.  Frisco Electric was able to do so over the phone, (vs. their competitor), and so we asked them to come out and take a look.  When Aaron got to our house, the outside outlet worked from something we had reset in our garage that evening, (unbeknownst to us), and so he didn't have to perform a service.  Even though he should have charged us for the service call, he did not and just said to keep them in mind for next time.  I highly recommend Frisco Electric for their customer service, integrity, and professionalism.

Highly recommend this company. I called this morning, and they sent an electrician the same day. Jose is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed the issue immediately! Great customer service and quality work.

I had an issue with our electrical set up ever since we moved in. We found poorly made outlets and oddly connect plugs and switches. It all came to head when all 4 of our cameras went out. I called 24-7 to have them look at it.
I apologize by I forgot the names of the two gentlemen that came out. But they saw that the previous owner created a single outlet to control the attic lights, cameras and front of the house lights. 24-7 staff fixed that and created new outlets for each of those areas, they even gave us a reasonable quote for some recessed lighting. They worked fast and clean and were very friendly, definitely will be returning to them for our lighting needs.

This is the 2nd time I've used them. This time changed my mind to find another company. 1.The tech smelled like cigarettes and bad odor. His stench remained in my house for 2 more days. 2. Tech sparked my electrical and he didn't tell me until I asked him about it.  Team Yelp: don't you think the homeowner should be told of important stuff like that? 3 stars and unfortunately won't use again.

Had to call someone to replace a breaker and a GFCI in a jiffy caused by some idiot crashing into a transformer a few blocks away. Fox came out fast and the work was done dirt cheap without sacrificing quality.  A+++

Owner is a standup guy! We were having some trouble and he happened to not be to far from us. Came right out the same day and had the issue fixed in just about under a minute and also showed us how to fix it going forward. He could have absolutely charged us a service fee but refused any payment. We will absolutely be using 4U for anything going forward.

Highly recommend Gunnels Electric Service. John, Andrew and Brandon are efficient, professional, reliable and reasonably priced. We have used them several times and have always been extremely pleased.

Edwin is an excellent electrician and handyman. He is also reasonably priced. He is very responsive via texting or calling. Great attention to detail and he is a perfectionist. He is also kind and respectful.He is now my go to guy!!! I am very pleased.

These people charge $90 just to come out and give you a quote for their work. And if they do the work they apply that as a credit. If you don't go with their quote for whatever reason, you are out the fee.
