Best Electricians in Dallas, TX

I've been using Anthony's electric for a long time. Have recommended him to several friends and they are always happy with his work. It's hard to find a reliable electrician that won't break your bank. I also like the fact that he is a master electrician. He explains everything he does in detail and is honest with pricing. Definitely the best if your in the Dallas area.

I found Caddell Electric through The Good Contractor's List. My need was not an emergency; therefore, being scheduled a week out was not a problem. I was called 30 minutes prior to the electricians' arrival. Lance and Elijah showed up on time, evaluated my need and provided a quote for the work. Additionally, they suggested another electrical issue that was a safety issue. They provided a quote for that work without pressuring me for the sale. I found them courteous and very knowledgeable. I will use them again if needed.

I was picking up a large piece of electrical strut from a supply house and the electrician from here was kind enough to saw-Za the 10ft piece of strut so I could fit it in my car.  Think he took pity on me watching as I tried to hacksaw it in the parking lot.

We have been needing to get some electrical work done on our house for sometime. We had an addition added to our house plus some old wiring issues that needed to be worked out. I had called several handy man services but most of them were not licensed or not bonded. I was happy to find out the Mr Electric had both of these. We were able to schedule for a quote less then a week out which I was happy to hear.  Our appointment was between 8am and 11am. I received a text message at 8:07 am stating that their tech was on his way to our house. The election showed up less then 30 minutes later. His name was Bryan and I was happy to see he was following covid rules. He was very professional and went over the cost of the job and plus the detail of what was needed to be done. Initially we only had a few things needed to be done but I was so happy to find a honest company we decided to have more work done while he was at our house. I really appreciate and recommend Mr Electric for any work that you may need completed. We are happy we finally found a trusted company. Look forward to more upcoming projects in the future. Arrow electric has done amazing jobs on 2 home improvement projects over the last year for our family. One of which we were initially told would cost us hundreds of dollars to do with walls ripped out by one company, but Arrow was able to do it without destroying any walls and within a reasonable time frame and price. With both jobs the electrician was there exactly within the time stated and was respectful of our house (wore booties and cleaned up after). We would definitely use these guys again and recommend them to anyone needing electrical services!

Pros: Scheduling service was friendly.  Quote was free.  
Cons: Primary technician was rude and condescending (assistant was fine).  Quote was obscenely high.  My second quote from another company was less than half the amount Service Today quoted.  I ultimately hired a licensed individual who did the work for 15% of the Service Today price.  The work (replacing 8 working smoke detectors) took less than 40 minutes to complete.  Service Today quoted $800, $1600 if I purchased the detectors from them.

I love this company!! They fixed a complicated outdoor lighting system very quickly. Then, I sprung a new project on them ... pigtailing every outlet and switch in the house. 6 guys came and had it done in a couple of hours. They all have great personalities, and they really care. I recommend them highly.

Found this company in an online search for electricians near me.  When I called they are in Houston, but said they have techs in Dallas area.  I had a simple outdoor outlet where the GFCI kept popping.
The tech arrived, very professional.  When he started showing me info on his ipad about the company.  I knew I was not going to like what was coming next.  He showed me that he had to do a complete diagnostic on that outlet and what it hooks up to for the lovely price of 350.00 JUST to diagnose!!!  I paid 1/2 that to have the outlet installed!  Needless to say I told him to leave!

Super service today from Darryl. Problem identified quickly, explained clearly, and solved in a cost effective manner. Darryl also saw one other issue that could have turned major, and suggested a no cost solution.

If I could give no stars I would. We contacted Mr. Carter to hire him for one of our properties. We texted him and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. He actually got upset because we asked basic questions. He had the audacity to say, too many questions and. I can't take you seriously. I was baffled by the lack of professionalism. He even tried to charge us more because we are in California. We've hired several contractors to look at our property in Dallas and never have I heard of a charge for being in a different state. I can't take an electrician who can't answer basic questions like, how much do you charge? seriously. It was a horrible interaction and he definitely will not get our business nor does he deserve yours.

****Update**** Then he texted me the next morning being very childish. Just more evidence of how unprofessional he is.

We've used Arrow to install new lights in our kitchen and then to remedy items in our home found during an inspection.  

Both times Arrow did a fantastic job, they were professional and timely.  And, best of all they are reasonably priced.  Our bid for replacing our lights was a couple hundred dollars less than other quotes!

When we used them to remedy inspection items, they noted items on the inspection report that were false and explained why.  Next he found a very serious is so that wasn't even addressed in our property inspection report!  He fixed all issues for a reasonable price.  

Arrow is also able to address your concerns with in an appropriate time frame.  In both cases I called them and they were at my house the next day.

We are now building a new house and we will be using them to install all of our new lighting.

The service has always been superb and they are extremely competent and reasonable.
Have no hesitations referring them for any job.

My and my wife bought house from 60' and most of the electrical wiring and some of the breakers were still original. Julio and his crew brought this old house up to code again.
Julio has great team of hard working guys. I wouldn't trust with this work to anyone else.

We contacted Big Bear upon recommendation from a friend and were not disappointed.  We subscribed to their annual service plan to maintain our two HVAC systems in the house we purchased within the last few years.

It was our first major checkup and they diagnosed two failing capacitors in our heating system and showed me (on the multimeter) why they were failing.  

They also re-taped the wiring/lines from our outdoor A/C condenser units that had been damaged by rats at no additional charge.

We truly truly appreciate Legacy Electric. Long story short. Texas A/C &Heat came out and basically didn't complete the job. The left wires disconnect and everything. They told us we needed an electrician. So, they contact our home warranty company to let them know. Legacy Electric was contracted to come out. Logan (the lead Technician) with Legacy Electric came out and teseted our electricity and checked our braker box. He said everything was working great. Lucky for us he is a licensed HVAC tech also. He went and checked our unit. Reconnected the wires there and to our thermostat and put the panel back on, waited a total of 5 MINUTES!!! and our unit was working. He is a very very nice person. We even talked about our dogs. Very professional work. We feel very luck to have had Logan with Legacy Electric come out. SHOUT OUT TO LOGAN!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH. I contracted LHE to do some fairly detailed electrical work and updating of existing wiring for an extensive remodel. The contract was sub contracted to Retro Electric out of West Ft.Worth / Weatherford area.
Mr. Charlie Reyes was the lead for the job. It was communicated early that the job would require several return visits to the site to finalize the electrical portion, due to numerous contractors completing other aspects of the project first. Mr. Reyes agreed to return as needed to ensure the electrical install was complete.
The initial instal was completed but the two follow up appointments were like pulling teeth to get coordinated. Mr. Reyes is a very poor communicator and repeatedly fails to just communicate with his customers on simple business practices to complete commitments.
We scheduled the final install of ceiling fans, can lightning and floor receptacle covers 4 times over the course of three week. Each time canceling after the scheduled arrival time. I would have easily met his schedule just to close this project but he never stepped up to coordinate a convenient time. He cited car trouble, two last minute emergencies, then a promised time based on his availability, that he confirmed then, never showed. I understand life throws curve balls sometimes and scheduling has to change ..... What I don't understand is a lack of communication and follow through with ones customer's to ensure professionalism and integrity of the name and business.
Numerous promises to follow through, each time with no communication until we reached out to inquire on where he was and what to expect! I am currently trying to get some sort of communication from him as we speak ....... Crickets!!
This is maybe an hour and a half, two hours of easy electrical work, and the job would be complete!
Unbelievable!

I had a small run of electricity for a big machine. They came out quickly and did a great job for a reasonable price. Totally recommend.
