I have been having trouble with my A/C and had two different quotes.  The second one told me it was an electrical problem with my breaker box and I needed to have an electrician come out and look at it.  After two lousy a/c guys I was worried about what these people would tell me.  They guy listened to me and knew I was going on day 2 without air.  He came out checked all the electrical circuits and told me my breakers were fine.  No extra charge, no taking advantage.  He also recommended a reputable A/C guy that I will be calling next!  Finally a trustworthy repairman!

Had an appointment with them today to fix a problem at my house. Bathroom exhaust wasn't working. They showed up early and were very professional. Found out what the problem was and Fixed the problem, it was just a switch replacement. Finished the work really fast and were on their way.

Mr. Stevens owner and licensed electrician of Safety Electric is a wizard and thorough man for finding the most difficult of sneaky circuits that have failed.  Our house was built in 1936 and as such has its share of quirks, but no more in the electrical department thanks to Mr. Stevens.  In addition to his electric skills, and willing to stay until its done, his prices cannot be beat.  Look no further when seeking an electrician.

I recently installed LED recessed lighting (can lights) and was impressed by their work. Very professional, timely and most importantly proper electrical work. Got a recommendation for Burkins when another electrician left me hanging right before it was time to move in. The prior electrician left me with 2 switches that didn't work as well as a garbage disposal that wouldn't come on.  Burkins fixed everything and then some.  I was so happy that I had them come back and install pendants. Burkins was able to fix things that prior electricians wrote off, and I couldn't  be happier with the service.  Reliable, responsive, meticulous, fair pricing, flexible scheduling, and very kind to my elderly mother. I highly recommend with no reservations.

I had an issue with my bathroom outlets not working.  When I called, the person on the phone tried to tell me that GFCI ( or something like that) needed to be reset and didn't want to charge me an hourly rate for 5 minutes of work.  I still had him send someone out to check it out. Juan came out and completed the work in 5 minutes. He was so courteous and asked if there was anything else he could help with. Juan set up my Ring doorbell and new smoke detectors I had around the house. I really appreciate the fact he went above and beyond the initial service request. I would definitely use this company again.

Mike and Pete replaced the electrical box for the house and added an outlet to be used for an RV hookup.  Very efficient and knowledgeable.  They arrived on time and checked in with me the day prior to the work to be done to confirm we were still expecting Community Electric to do the electrical work.  Very polite (who doesn't appreciate the courtesy of a Yes, ma'am, No ma'am response?).  The rate they charged was very fair and definitely warranted the monetary tip I gave them!   Excellent service and will use them again!!!

Over the past four years, we have had three other electricians out.  The problems were never fixed.  Now they are.  This company was on time and the electrician were very knowledgeable.  They immediately identifed the problem and fixed it.

I contacted Merlan on the Yelp site after reading the great reviews, plus they are close to my location. I sent a quote request and Nestor responded within about 20 minutes, that was impressive as it was after hours. Nestor and I sent back and forth a number of details about what we needed done. I called him the day after Christmas as he asked and he quickly picked up and we were scheduled for that afternoon. Nestor and his assistant arrived on time and came in to assess the work to be accomplished. They quickly got to work and he had come equipped with everything he would need to get the tasks completed. Roughly two hours later, everything I had needed done was finished. They cleaned up the areas that were worked in. Merlan Electrical Services are quality people doing quality work. Long Electric and air conditioning recently completed major electrical work at our home.  We had a couple of their courteous representatives come by to look at our electrical panel and give us a price to replace and relocate our panel.  Tommy was the technician that performed the replacement job. He did an outstanding job; Tommy is hard-working, we are very pleased with the workmanship and results.  I would highly recommend Long electric and air conditioning.

Over the years at my parents' house, my mom has always found something new to fix. I have called Electricians of Dallas on 3 occasions now to fix a ceiling fan that was not installed properly by a friend.  The electrician spent several hours as it could have caused a fire.  It's been running fine for several years now.  This year I have had them replace 3 old security lights that were no longer working. The electrician discovered one on the side of my home had never been connected so he went into my attic and connected it the way it should have been done years ago!  I strongly recommend Electricians of Dallas.  They're wonderful to work with!

I do commend the owner for responding to my review.  sometimes technology is the enemy.  I have had phone calls not show up for several days on my cell phone. Voicemails too. :(

I have mixed feelings about this company as they've done some really good stuff for us, but a recent visit by their HVAC technicians kind of made me question.   My pet peeve with this company is they're always trying to upsell me when they come.   This time, when they came I seriously questioned them because we had an HVAC check less than 2 months ago and were told the unit was in tip top shape.   We learned the hardway to change the batteries in the thermostat and their technicians never ever checked it on the yearly checks.  The batteries had exploded.  They cleaned it up and put new batteries in it and checked the unit and suddenly were trying to sell me a new coil for over $3000.  They told me it was low in freon and needed 3 lbs at $112 lb.   (outrageous).    I question the time they spent doing this too.   I just felt a little ripped off.
