Great family owned plumbing company. I would recommend them for your plumbing needs. They did a great job at my home for a new bathroom and washroom. Polite and professional

I am thankful I called Enviro-Safe! I was having an issue with my well water so I called around to a few local companies that deal with well water and private well systems. Instead of telling me that I needed a very expensive filtration system right off the bat, Nick spent a few minutes on the phone asking me questions about the problem I was having and ended up sending out a service technician to further diagnose my problem. They were professional and courteous when they arrived and explained everything they were doing. They correctly diagnosed and corrected my problem for the cost of a service call, when they could have told me I needed a lot of expensive equipment installed like everyone else I spoke to. I trust the guys at Enviro-Safe because, they treated me like family and my money like it was their own. I will definitely call them in the future if I have any problems their company can handle!

I had water in my basement and thought I knew the source. I called Personal Plumbing and Roland & Tauhid came out the same evening. I scheduled my service for next morning. Long story short, after investigating, the guys found out that in addition to my drain issue, I had a bigger problem that required a different contractor.
They took the time to show me exactly what the problem was and did an execellent, quick job cleaning my drain. They even moved my washer & dryer to save them from water damage!
Hopefully I won't have any major plumbing issues in the future. But if I do, I'm glad I found Personal Plumbing. Knowlegable, prompt, and personable.

These guys are the absolute best! My heater broke and they came out and had it replaced in a day during a terrible snow storm. They are so friendly and very informative of what's going on. So professional and I highly recommend them for heating and plumbing.

We had an appointment, which has been set like 4 days before. Cancelled all my meetings at work (very busy), came on time. After 40 min waiting I called them - alas, they decided to cancel our appointment because of some reasons. When we asked - why you did not call? - the answer was unclear and childish, like we did not call because we did not call.
Huge disrespect to other people time.

I recently took on the rehab of a long-vacant property near me. East Falls had to do a complete re-plumbing of the 3 story house, including a new boiler and replacement of some (very heavy!) radiators. I have to say it was completed with minimal of complications on my part. The work was done in the time frame he suggested and when there was a problem in one of the older lines he was back to make the needed adjustments to correct the problem. Very professional and easy to work with.

This is the MOST amazing experience I've had in dealing with a service provider. From the very first interface with Lizzie who answered the phone and scheduled my appointment, in a professional manner, to Joe (the business owner), who apologized profusely for being 15 minutes late, I am truly IMPRESSED!
Their care, availability and rapid response to my need, with a very favorable price, has me hooked for life.
Thank you Joe and team!

Used Thompson to troubleshoot a heating issue with my radiator as well as inspect the old boiler in the basement in my house in Fairmount. Vince the owner answered each time I called and was very helpful over the phone. John showed up on time and was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and personable. He was able to fix my radiator and provide an honest assessment of my heating system. He's got 30 years of experience, is very knowledgeable, and took time to explain the entire heating system to me. Both guys get an A in customer service, & the job cost exactly as what was quoted over the phone. I highly recommend them, and will definitely use them in the future.

Called to have someone come out and look at my AC unit. Spoke with Janice who told me they could have someone out that day after 1. I left early from work to make sure I was home on time. Got a phone call at 2:30 from Janice telling me they couldn't get anyone out and that they could come the next day. Her reasoning was that she never said they were definitely coming that day but that they might be able to come after 1. Who runs a business scheduling appointments on we might be there? Complete waste of time. If you decided to use this company I suggest being very clear with Janice on the time and your expectations.

Victor James has been our go to plumbing company. Just call them. Seriously, from the first phone call conversation to the payment (their prices are hands down the best!) you will not be disappointed! We have been a customer for 8 years now & will be forever.

The owner is hard to get a hold of and he says he'll call you but he doesn't and he rushes everything and misses things. Also recommends other contractors that say they'll do something and them they don't.

Problem: Heat pump system was blowing out cold (30-40Fº) air when it should have been heating our house.
I first called them up expecting to need to schedule an appointment later in the week. I was told I could expect a visit on the same day. Additionally, I received two callbacks prior to their arrival letting me know approximately when I should expect them to arrive. They also informed me that the minimum service charge would be $75 for diagnostics. I bristled, however I appreciated their frankness.
Heating tech came out within 2 hours of my first call to their service. He looked at all the components of our heat pump system, trying to identify the root cause of the problem. Like most service techs, they could easily have exploited my naivete to sell me on a costly repair or service (e.g., an overhaul of the air handler and/or heat pump). He did not. He looked into the wiring of the system, identified incorrect wiring, and through his thorough inspection, was able to identify the proper means of wiring the system.
The tech explained, in plain terms that I could understand, that the incorrect wiring in the heat pump system was running emergency heat ($$$), but then incorrectly running A/C instead of standard heating ($$$). This caused a problematic cycle wherein I was paying a lot to heat my house, then paying a lot to cool my house - ad infinitum.
He spent a little over an hour, and with minimal labor costs, my heat pump system is now running properly.
Excellent (above and beyond, really) response time, reasonable labor costs overall (my final charge was under $150), and respectful, professional treatment. While I hope to have to wait a long time until I have to call for an HVAC service again, when I do, I will most certainly call Edward Hughes and Sons.
