Best Plumbing Services in Philadelphia, PA
I called CHP to get a gas line installed. I was very happy that they immediately jumped on the opportunity to come out and take a look at the potential job. Two days later they came out and checked things out (Wednesday), and told me they'd have an estimate for me by the end of the week. Ten days went by and no one called. Giving them a chance to make things right I called and inquired about the delay and was told that they would call me as soon as possible (yesterday morning). I called again 5 minutes ago and asked again and was told that they were going to pass on that. In summary, they forgot about me, and then decided to just drop the whole job. I'm 2 weeks behind my intended schedule for my gas-range installation and will be looking for a plumbing company that values their word and wants my business.

I am so greatful for calling this company. I recently just moved into the renovated home but the people who renovated did a shobby job on the home and did alot of quick fix. So i had a water heater that was installed incorrectly and illegally. I call the plumber to install a water filtration system not know that my water heater was a problem. He uses his CO detector to see if Carbon Monoxide was coming into the house. The meter said 24 and he said the meter is suppose to be at 0. So since aug-dece me and my family been slowly taking in CO without even noticing. Something so small like that could have killed us if he didn't talk me about it. So he changed out my old water heater and installed the new water in no time. I am very grateful for calling him to fix that issue. I will be calling him to install my water filtration system

Plumbing problems can become a nightmare. So when I need authorized state approved plumbing done in my home, I call Tom. When I don't need the job to be approved by any utility company, I do it myself or call Jimmy ;)
The potential nightmare of DIY plumbing could be devastating. Our last project was a broken water main pipe. As a home owner, I'm responsible for fixing the water pipe outside my house all the way to the valve at the curb. There is a flat metal lid covering the valve in our front yard, on the thin strip of grass between the sidewalk and the road. That lid covers the valve that turns off the water so I can replace the pipe. My father in law had replace a broken water main himself (and 7 other guys with shovels), so I considered it as a possible option. And I may have been able to rent a backhoe. cl. But, the risk of ruining my house was too great so we called Tom.
Tom works with a mechanical contracting unit. The man can't do everything himself. When they were digging, a neighbor was walking down the sidewalk and is hard of sight. These guys held his hand and walked him around the site. They even replaced the broken sidewalk tile with a new one. Which goes above and beyond, in my book.
Thanks Tom, Sean, the two other guys who I did not meet and the Peco guys who had to come back out to fix the gas line that was hit. Which is funny because when Peco marked the line, it wasn't going to be where they found it.
Good thing I didn't do this job myself. Thanks Tom.
peace,
michael

Called them this morning, were at our house same day within a couple hours, resolved our issue within 30 minutes, fair price quick and good service worth every penny and great to know a plumber now that we can call! Highly recommend.

After a big storm came through and our recently repaved road debris clogged and burned out our sump pump for a second time we decided to do it right and get a professional. With our basement flooding and waters getting higher by the minute we weren't having luck with other companies. Davis was one of the few that actually answered their phone on a weekend. They cost us a bit more than we were expecting but he promised us more too. He not only replaced the pump but also cleaned the pit and replaced some piping to make sure the job was good and lasted. Would recommend them. While I hope I don't need their services anytime soon.... if I do I'll have no problem calling them!

I am a repeat customer of Drains R Us. They are completely trustworthy and reliable. They fixed every problem I've encountered with my new home. I called Kit to install new appliances, fixed some plumbing issues I had with my dishwasher and sink, and was so nice to have taken a look at other minor issues. Kit and his partner are super friendly and has done a remarkable job with everything. Thank you guys!!

I had a very small job that needed attention. Usually, very tough to get someone to come quick except for those companies with the rolling trucks that charge just to show up. DeLuca came the day after I called and completed the job. Very professional and thorough. Cleaned up and did work at reasonable price.

We were having issues with our sink and since we didn't have a plumber, we looked for one on Yelp. After reading the reviews of John Luke, we reached out to see if they could help and I'm so glad we did! They were very responsive and took the time to figure out the problem. I'm glad we now have a reliable and trustworthy company as our go to!

We had a small water stain in our basement ceiling. Called Bryan, Karen had him out same day, he provided fair estimate with knowledgeable explanations, very nice guy. Repair man was out next day very quickly, he was so friendly and did clean work. Needed an extra part, another plumber met him at the house so he did not need to leave to get it. Added extra caulk at tub line just as a nice gesture because it needed it. Very pleased with the whole experience

Probably one of the most pleasant service folks I've ever spoken to. Realized the toilet was leaking from underneath around 3pm, I'd sent out a quote request from some online service. He called back within a few minutes and provided an estimate over the phone which the other companies I spoke to had to be beaten up for even a remote estimate. He was at my house by 4pm replacing the seal, also swapped out the innards to the toilet because we were looking to do it anyways. I watched the entire time as I'd never seen it done before and he took a lot of care to make sure everything was done right and cleaned properly before putting it back together. He was finished in about an hour and a half at a very reasonable price!

Rik and Mike remodeled my tiny bathroom in South Philly. From a previous remodel, I had a leaky shower stall that that was tiled and grouted poorly, and they were careful to demo the problematic walls and floor, while salvaging tile on opposing walls, storage cabinets and cubbies, and a medicine cabinet that I wanted to keep.
When the floor came up, we discovered a rotted subfloor, compromised joists and some water damage. This was not something we had budgeted for in the initial estimate, but Rik recognized that the new priority was structural integrity and was reasonable about additional costs for sistering compromised joists, moving water lines, and giving me a new subfloor.
When there were new issues or detours they had to take (the bathroom is in a 100 year old building), Rik ran all changes by me and let me know what options (and their respective costs) we had. At one point, he even brought in a structural guy to double check the direction he recommended we take on those compromised joists.
Post demo and remediation, they installed everything I had bought for the project - the new toilet, the new shower stall, new shower walls, new vanity, new fixtures and new tiling on the floor. That part of the project took the amount of time Rik had estimated, and the only time-related hiccups were caused by the rotting subfloor and joist sistering, which were not foreseen.
Rik understood that my number one priority was making sure that the shower was watertight, and he pointed out different steps during the way that we accomplished that goal. I'll update this review periodically to let you know how watertight it remains.
Finally, there was the issue of construction debris. Rik and Mike did this work in late July and early August of 2020, when the city's sanitation department was racked with COVID-19 and some trash pickup did not occur on schedule. While they put debris in large white bags labeled contractor bags and expected the city to haul them off. However, once city services resumed, the sanitation department (for 2 consecutive weeks) would take all trash EXCEPT the contractor bags and the old toilet Rik and Mike had placed at the curb.
When I notified them of this, Rik did the right thing. Even though our financial dealings with one another were in the rear view mirror and the new bathroom had been completed for nearly 2 weeks, he swooped by 48 hours later to pick up the debris and properly dispose of it.
In all, I was very pleased with Rik and Mike's work, and I would hire them again.

Wow, speedy and efficient service. I called Streamline and left a message on their machine. They called back within an hour, had someone at my door in a lucky ten minutes, and the job was done in an hour or less. Mind you, this was not an even an emergency call. &The price seemed pretty darn reasonable too.

Very honest and reliable. We used the company to replace the roof on our property in PA and Jamal was very accomodating. Showed up when he said he would and completed the work on time. Sent pics after the job was done since we don't live in PA. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a professional, honest and affordable contractor.

I purchased a heat pump unit from this company for $11,500! I was told I would have a 12 year warranty for parts and labor as long as I purchased their annual inspection for $200 a year. I did that until the pandemic hit.
Recently, I had them come out for the annual inspection and I was told my labor warranty was void unless I paid them an additional $460! I refused and now I have no labor warranty 5 years into the purchase.
I think they could have been more understanding of the fact that I had my 90 year old mother living with me and I was protecting her from getting the virus. There were issues with the install and I continued to have issues with an outside temperature probe that they refused to replace.
I would never recommend this company because they are money grubbers and disloyal.

We needed a gasline extended to convert from an electric to gas stove. We were able to connect with DPP and they sent the team of Joe and Eddie. They reviewed and inspected the work needed. They gave us the price and outline of the work process. We were thrilled that they could start work immediately and be finished in about (3) hours. They were professional, meticulous and clean in their work. They explained the process and informed us in their progress. I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services. Job well done
