Best Plumbing Services in Philadelphia, PA

I called CHP to get a gas line installed. I was very happy that they immediately jumped on the opportunity to come out and take a look at the potential job. Two days later they came out and checked things out (Wednesday), and told me they'd have an estimate for me by the end of the week. Ten days went by and no one called. Giving them a chance to make things right I called and inquired about the delay and was told that they would call me as soon as possible (yesterday morning). I called again 5 minutes ago and asked again and was told that they were going to pass on that. In summary, they forgot about me, and then decided to just drop the whole job. I'm 2 weeks behind my intended schedule for my gas-range installation and will be looking for a plumbing company that values their word and wants my business.

We've had a bunch of vendors come and tell us to replace our boiler, but John came out and recommended getting a cleaning because the boiler is still functioning. He also offer replacement options as well, so we appreciated the multiple options. He was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. He spent time explaining to me how everything worked and even fixed items outside of the initial scope of work.

Plumbing problems can become a nightmare. So when I need authorized state approved plumbing done in my home, I call Tom. When I don't need the job to be approved by any utility company, I do it myself or call Jimmy ;)

The potential nightmare of DIY plumbing could be devastating. Our last project was a broken water main pipe. As a home owner, I'm responsible for fixing the water pipe outside my house all the way to the valve at the curb. There is a flat metal lid covering the valve in our front yard, on the thin strip of grass between the sidewalk and the road. That lid covers the valve that turns off the water so I can replace the pipe. My father in law had replace a broken water main himself (and 7 other guys with shovels), so I considered it as a possible option. And I may have been able to rent a backhoe. cl. But, the risk of ruining my house was too great so we called Tom.

Tom works with a mechanical contracting unit. The man can't do everything himself. When they were digging, a neighbor was walking down the sidewalk and is hard of sight. These guys held his hand and walked him around the site. They even replaced the broken sidewalk tile with a new one. Which goes above and beyond, in my book.

Thanks Tom, Sean, the two other guys who I did not meet and the Peco guys who had to come back out to fix the gas line that was hit. Which is funny because when Peco marked the line, it wasn't going to be where they found it.

Good thing I didn't do this job myself. Thanks Tom.

Called for plumbing emergency two weeks ago.Was told by Amber that someone would call back to schedule appt with estimator. Never heard back from anyone. Only one star selected in order to post review, in short; their none response deserves no stars.

Davis plumbing did a fabulous job updating our shower and bath fixtures in the master bathroom.  They were very knowledgeable about the plumbing valves we needed, transparent with pricing and efficient and clean.  We will be using them for other plumbing projects we have for sure!

Tuan is a LIFESAVER. He went above and beyond to help us with our plumbing issues that we've been experiencing for about 2-3 weeks now. He made everything so easy by patiently explaining what the current situation was and what may need to be done in the future if another problem comes up- he made sure to charge us the least amount possible at this time rather than trying to take our money.

We had a few technicians from another company come out before we got Tuans number from a family member and those previous technicians seemed like they were just trying to scam us because the job kept getting more and more expensive with them. We were at our wit's end with our plumbing issues and finally called someone who was recommended to us- Tuan.

i appreciated working with Tuan because he was upfront, straightforward and honest (and also a complete JOY TO BE AROUND! Great personality). I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We're never going to need another plumber again and I am so thankful. Thank you Tuan!!!

I called a plumber I used a few years ago.  The person that answered the call said he was on a job but that he would get back to me the next day.  When he never did, I  called DeLuca Plumbing.  Joe answered the phone, gave a quote but requested to view the job to confirm what was needed.  He showed up when he told me.  He then returned on that Friday as he said, he did the job and charged the quoted rate.  What more can you ask?  I would use him again and recommend him to anyone.

We've had some mixed experiences with plumbers in our area over the last few years, and I'm really thankful that we found John Luke Plumbing & Heating.

We had a slow leak from a pipe in our basement connected to our heating system, and based on an estimate from another plumber, John Luke's estimate was extremely reasonable. Plus, while they were here we had them repair a radiator that hadn't worked in over a year (also very reasonable). His team was very professional -- skilled, respectful, and efficient.

I highly recommend them, and I only wish we had found them sooner.

Very happy with Bryan and his professional team. We recently had 2 jobs that were handled by Stuckert Plumbing with the utmost attention to detail. Each team member was punctual and respectful of our time. They answered questions thoroughly and explained what needed to be done. Cost and time estimates were very accurate and we were very impressed by overall job completion. Job site was left very clean and our house is back to normal. Would definitely recommend Bryan and his team!

Probably one of the most pleasant service folks I've ever spoken to.  Realized the toilet was leaking from underneath around 3pm, I'd sent out a quote request from some online service.  He called back within a few minutes and provided an estimate over the phone which the other companies I spoke to had to be beaten up for even a remote estimate.  He was at my house by 4pm replacing the seal, also swapped out the innards to the toilet because we were looking to do it anyways.  I watched the entire time as I'd never seen it done before and he took a lot of care to make sure everything was done right and cleaned properly before putting it back together.  He was finished in about an hour and a half at a very reasonable price!

We worked with Rik and his team for almost the last 3 months on a home that we were preparing to sell.  We couldn't be happier.  We started out with just a hardwood floor refinishing job but, once we saw the quality of the work and realized that Rik offered other services, we asked him to give us a quote to expand our contract.  

Rik ended up coordinating all work at our house over the 3 months.  He helped us with significant plumbing work (repairs and wall demo of a concrete wall), installation of an upstairs sliding glass door, installation of plank flooring in the basement, window framing and installation, new custom window well covers,  electrical rewiring, painting projects, carpentry projects, replacing lighting fixtures, toilets, faucets, shower heads, etc.  There is nothing his team can't do.  

The work was quality.  Rik was flexible and patient with our ever changing punch list of projects.  He demonstrated to us over and over that he was honest and fair -- he was genuinely interested in making sure our decisions were cost effective and made sense given that we were selling the house.  He communicated with us even when he was on vacation and juggled jobs so he could get our stuff wrapped up in time for the house to go on the market.  

We coordinated all of this work from 3,000 miles away.  We never even got to meet Rik personally but I can't tell you how much it meant to have someone we trusted on site when we couldn't be there.   We'd give him more than 5 stars if we could.

Went above & beyond to fix my plumbing issue -- which turned out to be more than just a simple clogged toilet. Ray was friendly, professional, and I'd highly recommend Streamline!

Jamal has team complete a stucco project on part of the house that previous was windows and replaced with a wall. Jamal was reasonably priced, on time and delivered great work. The new stucco transitions very well into the existing stucco. Very happy customer!

Had them come out to do a service call on issues with my AC.  I was told that they would give me a detailed written analysis of what was wrong and if necessary depending on the analysis, repair/replace options and estimates.   The service person came out and provided me 3 repair options, but because the repairs were going to be considerable ($2,500 - $4,000), he suggested I have an estimate on replacement.  The replacement estimator came right away and he too gave me 3 options of replacement ($10,100 - $12,000).   Since that was considerably more than I was expecting, I said I would need to review this further.  I was told I would get a follow up email with the 3 options and what they included.  What I got was a photo of the hand written estimate.  No detailed written explanation on the difference in the options, the manufacturer warranties, etc.  I called the office to request a more detailed explanation, copies of the manufacturer brochures, etc, and was told they do not do that.  They would have the estimator call me and talk to me in detail but they do not provide written documentation.  WTF!!!  $10,000 - $12,000 and they don't provide written documentation on what the service and warranties include?  Is this even legal?   It sure isn't a good business practice.  Most upsetting of all, I had them replace my heater last winter and I'm now feeling like I was probably snowed to the tune of $5,000.

Overpriced for the easy job they did.  Would never use again.
