Best Plumbing Services in Philadelphia, PA
My garbage disposal needed to be replaced. Alex took out the old one and installed a new one I had already purchased. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The job was done in no time at all.

I found Steve on a Saturday afternoon while scrolling through Yelp out of desperation when my mom had a home-related issue that needed immediate attention. Steve came through and more. He listened to my concerns and showed up within the hour to help my mom. He was polite and helpful, and even followed up with me after he left my mom's place. My mother said she will be using Steve in the future whenever she needs a handyman.

Fantastic service. Chad was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very friendly and a pleasure to have him service my problem. I am very confident I will be using Moser service as my Plumber and I highly recommend them. AAA+++.

I've been looking for an honest old-fashioned plumber who does the job you want done.
Bob's knowledge of plumbing exceeds anything I could've ever expected from a plumber at his rates. The savings that I experience with Bob allowed me to get a little extra work done without going over budget and I would believe anyone would appreciate that.
If you need a plumber from simple to sophisticated this is the guy you need!

Dan did a great job installing a bathroom vanity and sink/faucet plus a small pipe replacement. Very reasonable. Extremely happy!

Jason is a pleasure to work with-- I had called him after getting his coupon in the money mailer bc I was afraid that I had a major problem with my toilet. He was on time, showed me his plumbing license, and spent a lot of time with me, Answering all of my questions. Luckily, the problem wasn't a problem after all. He is also not the kind of plumber whose gonna charge you an arm and a leg, which I really respect and appreciate in this day and age. Now I know in the future, who to call, if and when there is a problem! He also rescues dogs and other animals, which to me, is a win win. I would recommend him to anyone.

Wonderful service and very reasonable. They came in 75% cheaper then the big guys and fixed our supply line in half a day. I highly recommend this company as they came back to check on their work to ensure we were leak free. They offer discounts for military and one year guarentee. Will only use The House Doctor for all my plumbing needs.

One of Good's managers came out to assess a need and provide estimate. Provided one very high estimate and a lower estimate for a scaled down job. We chose the lower. This manager ignored all (3-4) calls regarding decision to move ahead, ignored 3-4 text messages. Called and spoke with an assistant in the office asking him to call back...nothing. Very strange because we were connected to Good thru a contractor they work with frequently. I would just say this is a really ignorant approach to doing business and a total disregard for the customer. It would be easy to say...we just cant help at this time.. but to purposely ignore messages and keep a potential customer hanging is telling about their approach to business. This happened about 18 months ago and we found an outstanding company that resolved our issues quickly and professionally.

We recently called Lucas to fix a leak in our fridge water line. Never thought I'd have to call them 2 days later for emergency service. But yeah, our water heater decided to implode at 5 pm today, leaving us without hot water. With kids to wash, dishes to do and laundry to run, this was not good news.
Two hours later Lucas was in there removing the old unit and installing the new one. By 930 pm we were all set. They literally left the competition in the dust. Companies that I called at 5pm still hadn't returned my calls just as Lucas was wrapping up.
Pricing wasnt cheap, but it was fair, and the speed at which they did everything was impressive. Professionally executed job at a fair price. Gotta love it.

Great plumber! If i could give em 10 stars i would. Brian and joe are great, brian showed up on time and i told him what i knew and what i did about the problem and he investigated all the culprits and tried to find out how we could try to see the problem. They were barely invasive and were easy to try as i didnt want to disturb or get massive amounts of dust or whatnot all over the place where my daughter plays. The problem was fixed within an hour and thanks to Brian's high tech tools it was easy to find and super easy fix. The quote was given before he does any work and it was not a wallet buster by any means. Upfront, honest, hard working guys, you wont find a better set of guys and they are on my speed dial if i have anymore problems and they should be on yours too!

My sump pump motor broke and Bukowski came right out and replaced it. They were not that ones who installed it origionally, but they came and put a new one in and it works great. Then I called them back (Robert), and had them run a new line for me (pvc) to redirect the water from the sump pit into another location. They work fast, and its quality. Very happy I met them and will call them back in the future!

Joe went above and beyond when our tankless water heater broke. He came out right away, and quickly identified the issue. He came back the next day to install the part and our water issues were solved! The price was fair, and Joe was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Not only did he fix our issue, but entertained as he went. I would recommend Joe to anyone in the Philadelphia area.

As luck would have it, our water heater sprang a leak the day before our house was scheduled to go up for sale. Pafumi replaced it on very short notice; we called them in the morning, explained that we were moving out and had just listed the house, and they came out a couple of hours later. The workers were pleasant, professional and did a good job. We knew their rate was higher than most, but since we were ready to leave the state we felt the quick response made it a fair trade-off. BUT .... cut to 6 weeks later: we've moved to No. Carolina, have a buyer for the house, and closing is a week away. Our realtor meets the certificate of occupancy inspector at the house and at some point he asks about the permit on that new water heater. She calls us to inquire about it, and I'm dumbstruck. I called Pafumi to ask if they'd applied for a permit, and the lady says indignantly, OH no, we don't do that. That's on you, that's on the homeowner. I said no one had even suggested to us that we'd need to apply for a permit after the installation, and asked if they normally mention that detail to their customers. She said, again with what sounded like a lot of attitude, I know I don't, and I don't think my techs do either. Like I said, that's on YOU! I suggested that they might want to mention it in the future, since water heater permits/inspections are evidently required, and she replied Most people don't want to bother with them anyway. Huh? I don't WANT to bother with it, or to pay taxes either, for that matter, but it's the law! And now we're living 10 hours away and can't sell our house without that missing permit. I explained the situation to her and she did get somewhat more helpful at that point. She offered to ask Mr Pafumi to fill out the paperwork, but said it wouldn't be till 'at least Monday' (it was Friday afternoon). The clock was counting down on settlement, so I called the permit office to see if I could do anything to get the process underway but they told me that until the contractor fills out 'the jacket', there's nothing the homeowner can do. So obviously even if we'd known about the need for a permit, Pafumi had to initiate the process. The whole mess would've resulted in a postponed closing if it wasn't for our incredibly resourceful realtor, Lynn Stambaugh at Cardinal Realty, who met Pafumi at their office door first thing Monday morning, hand-carried the application to the W. Deptford code office, begged/pestered/cajoled and somehow got it processed, paid for, inspected and approved in record time, and then coaxed the CO inspector back to the house to reinspect on the very last business day before settlement. Of course the water heater did pass inspection; like I said, the workers had done a good job and they did it quickly. Hence the two stars here instead of one, which is what I feel the company really earned by playing dumb about the need for permits, and adding a ton of down-to-the-wire tension to what was already a stressful situation.

Terrible company that has a poor understanding of the systems they sell/install in people's homes. I purchased a new heating pump/HVAC system for my home on 4/28. After promising they are HVAC experts and have the best teams in the business, Horizon proceeded to do an absolutely terrible job installing the system THEY sold to ME. You would think a company like Horizon would have a great understanding of the systems they sell home owners.
On the day of install, their team arrived at 7:30 AM and worked to install my system, completing the job around 5 PM. The employee showed me how to turn on the system and left. The system immediately started blowing hot air. I tried to turn the entire unit off, but it continued pumping hot air getting my house to 80 degrees (almost 10 degrees hotter than it was outside). I called the salesperson that sold me the system, and he told me someone would come back to check on this issue (that I was having on the brand new system they installed). One of the original installers arrived back around 6:30 PM and was clearly panicked and did not know what was going on, he had to call multiple other employees and was running into and out of my house for over an hour. He claimed to have fixed it and left saying someone would need to come back in the morning to replace a broken part (on my NEW system). No sooner does he leave does the hot air continue to blow. He told me I could turn off the system at the breaker and it would turn off, I did this but that didn't work. I had a heat pump constantly blowing hot air in to my home and couldn't get it to stop. My house got to 88 degrees before I figured out how to manually shut off the emergency heat that had been triggered by the faulty equipment Horizon installed. During that entire time, I could not get anyone from Horizon on the phone to help me other than a dispatcher that could only tell me a tech would get to my house at some point that night to check on my new system a third time (the tech eventually arrived at my house at 10:30 PM, over 15 hours after the job began at 7:30 AM. He was able to temporarily fix the issue but someone had to come back the next morning to finish installing a system Horizon is supposed to be experts on).
These people installed a faulty piece of equipment that was malfunctioning in my home and left TWICE. If I hadn't called them multiple times that evening, they would have left my home in that condition overnight potentially causing a real disaster in my home. This was dangerous, period. I had to call again in the morning to make sure someone was coming to help as I didn't receive any follow up after the last tech left my house at 11 PM that night. I then had to request a manager call me to review what in the world went wrong and why Horizon did an absolutely terrible job on this install. After the 4th tech left the day after my install, Horizon was content to leave the matter closed instead of calling and offering a simple apology for the disaster of a job.
Overall, it was an embarrassing experience for them and a potentially dangerous one for me. I don't even know what would happen to my home or the system if it had been left to continuously pump emergency heat into my home? What if I had left for the night and my pets were left in that home because I didn't realize there was an issue? Deal with these people at your own risk, they don't know what they are doing and are fine leaving your home in a potentially hazardous condition.

Did work for us two years ago. Horrible horrible work. Guy did not know what he was doing. Said he come back to fix the problem never did. Billed us and when we called company to get them to finish the job they stopped taking our calls. Then sent us to collections. Never had us sign off in the job or give us a receipt.
