Its hard to find an honest plumber, so when I had an issue at my house, I was concerned.  Their price was fair and I got an appointment for the same day while other local plumbers had me wait for days.  Kevin was awesome, he explained the process and  was professional.  He didn't just throw out any number, he explained the procedure and had written documents which justified his assessment.  They stand behind their work 100%.  The receptionist was friendly and called back to check up the on us after the job was completed.  I felt so satisfied with their work that, i signed up my office as well.  Excellent service all around.  Thank You !!!  A++++++++++++++++

Fixed a door more easily than we both thought and just said give me $30 and we are good; the estimate was $350...

Bob's knowledge of plumbing exceeds anything I could've ever expected from a plumber at his rates. The savings that I experience with Bob allowed me to get a little extra work done without going over budget and I would believe anyone would appreciate that.
If you need a plumber from simple to sophisticated this is the guy you need!

Jason is a pleasure to work with-- I had called him after getting his coupon in the money mailer bc I was afraid that I had a major problem with my toilet.  He was on time, showed me his plumbing license, and spent a lot of time with me, Answering all of my questions.  Luckily, the problem wasn't a problem after all.   He is also not the kind of plumber whose gonna charge you an arm and a leg, which I really respect and appreciate in this day and age. Now I know in the future, who to call, if and when there is a problem! He also rescues dogs and other animals, which to me, is a win win. I would recommend him to anyone.

Just had the House Doctor team, Kerry and Roy, come in and replace our water heater tank, and I'd recommend them to anyone who has any plumbing, electrical, carpentry problems that they need a capable team to complete it. They were personable and professional gentlemen, and really did an amazing job, complications and all.

Really had difficulty finding a plumber that I felt I could trust as I'm unfamiliar with the work that needed to be done. I had searched Yelp, Home Advisor, Home Depot, and even Amazon Home Services (AHS), but wasn't satisfied with the polarized reviews of some of the plumbers I read about. Eventually, I stumbled on the House Doctor through AHS where they had excellent reviews, but discovered that they were no longer on that platform. So, I did a quick google search and found them on Home Advisor where it reflected the same enthusiasm for their work. I finally felt somewhat comfortable moving forward with them and have not regretted that decision.

Basically, our water heater had no way of getting out of our basement closet without breaking down a wall / doing some demolition work AND it was going to be very difficult to transport both the old and the replacement water tanks. They got creative with the solution and only had to take out part of the door framing to get it out, cut some piping, cleaned up the area, brought in the new unit, and re-positioned the piping to connect to the new unit. After cleaning up the area and re-installing the door framing, they left the set-up better than it had been before, leaving everything in perfect, working condition.

Kerry and Roy were both personable and funny, but when it came to the work and costs, they didn't play any games. Kerry is not only capable in plumbing, but also electrical work, carpentry, and other areas, so I will definitely be working with him going forward and recommend him to anyone who has any related problems. They don't call him the House Doctor for nothing!

Bought AC and Heating Systems From Them, So Spent Thousands Of Dollars.  Afterwards Tried Setting Up Appt. For Someone To Come Out For Maintenance and The Custiomer Service Department Was Horrible - Speaking To Me With Attitude.  Plenty of Better Businesses To Go To That Appreciate Their Customers.

Wonderful service!!! I had an emergency and called them after hours: they called back quickly, showed up promptly, and fixed the problem professionally!!! Steve was very courteous. Now they have a lifelong customer!!!

My sump pump motor broke and Bukowski came right out and replaced it.  They were not that ones who installed it origionally, but they came and put a new one in and it works great.  Then I called them back (Robert), and had them run a new line for me (pvc) to redirect the water from the sump pit into another location.  They work fast, and its quality.  Very happy I met them and will call them back in the future!

Joe went above and beyond when our tankless water heater broke. He came out right away, and quickly identified the issue. He came back the next day to install the part and our water issues were solved! The price was fair, and Joe was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Not only did he fix our issue, but entertained as he went. I would recommend Joe to anyone in the Philadelphia area.

Great service from this company - even on a Saturday. They fixed my ancient AC and the repairman even ran over to the hardware store to get the correct filter.

Called for service, because, of course it is freezing out and my heater stopped working.  We were given an appointment for the next day, 3 to 7, fine, we can survive one night without heat.  Well the heater kicked on the next morning so we reluctantly cancelled our appointment.   It stopped working again, and I called to reschedule, next available was 2 days away.  This in itself was not the issue I have with this company, when I mentioned that it was too long for us to wait the scheduler snidely said, Well you cancelled. Rude, I was not complaining about their availability, just my inability to wait. No need for her attitude. Will never use this company there are many others in the area.

Did work for us two years ago. Horrible horrible work. Guy did not know what he was doing. Said he come back to fix the problem never did. Billed us and when we called company to get them to finish the job they stopped taking our calls. Then sent us to collections. Never had us sign off in the job or give us a receipt.

If this is affordable plumbing with mike, then they are the best.  i have rehabbed tons of houses and worked with dozens of plumbers, and they are the best.  their prices are good.  they are professional.  and they communicate in a clear manner.  

mike is a busy owner, what do you expect with their service and prices . . . . but he always communicated with me in a timely manner and always performed what he said he was going to do.  

all his workers are very good.  will continue to use them in the future.

I had a serious sewer line clog that my regular plumber was not equipped to fix. He recommended Mr. D's. I called Friday evening- they came out Saturday morning. They gave me a window of 11-2 and were there by 11:30. they snaked out the line, gave me advice about tree root control and were done within a half an hour. They were knowledgeable, polite and responsive.
