Best Plumbing Services in Philadelphia, PA
Very responsive (a rarity among contractors from my experience), friendly, professional, and fair rates. They did a great (and fast) job replacing a toilet for me and based on this experience I would certainly recommend them to others.

I'm in a 55+ condo development and a neighbor recommended Hopkins Plumbing. A different neighbor, the one in the unit below me, was getting toilet water dripping down his wall when we flushed our toilet. My neighbor completely remodeled her kitchen, and she was very happy with all their work.
I called Hopkins and they were at my location within a couple hours. The owner works with one other person. They removed the toilet, replaced the seals and problem was solved.
I mentioned to Brian, the owner, that Horizon Services came out a few months ago to fix a leak in my sunk in tub. They replaced the cartridges (hot and cold) but the faucet was still leaking.
The tech. from Horizon told me that major work would need to be done, tiles removed, and would require a construction team. The cost of one cartridge part was $300 and labor was another $275. I didn't pay for the service since nothing was fixed.
I turned off the water to the tub from the main water lines and decided not to use the tub ever again.
Brian took a look at the tub today, removed the new cartridges and told me that the two small pieces (they look like tiny screws and washers) were old and not replaced.
He went to his truck, replaced the two small pieces, turned the water back on and NO LEAKS-
He knew exactly what the problem was, and the tech. from Horizon was just completely wrong.
He reset the toilet, replaced the seals, fixed my bathtub, and we're completely satisfied with his work and prices were very reasonable.

Needed plumbing work done and Mark (the owner and Master Plumber) was very responsive, efficient, and was on-site for all the work doing most of it himself with his son (also a plumber) assisting. Definitely a great company and person to deal with!

I owned my home for several years and had no ceiling light in my living room. My home was over 100 years old, so it was originally gas lighting. Manny placed 6 recessed lights in my living room ceiling and included a dimmer switch! Then he installed baseboard electric heaters in every room including my living room. He did an excellent job and I was very happy.

Don and his son are the best!! They work very efficiently and neatly to fix whatever plumbing problem you may have. I have to say they do not GOUGE you either!! Their prices are very fair. I have used Don and referred him to all my friends who are very happy with their work.

I requested someone to do maintenance on the boiler because the radiators were barely warm on the first floor and cold on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Someone came out and found the water pressure was low, so he did not do the maintenance. He was very pleasant and showed me the lever to open to add water to the system but he did not do it himself. I asked about their maintenance program and gave him my credit card. He left and as soon as I added water the pressure went high and flooded the basement. He did not do any maintenance because there was a leak that had to be fixed first. I got another company to come out who realized immediately that there was a pipe broken that supplied water to the boiler. I emailed Henderson the next morning and told them to cancel the maintenance agreement. They refused. I insisted and they said they would send me a check for half the amount. They should have refunded the entire amount or just not processed my credit card. Their response? We do not refund maintenance agreements. I was not told that nor was I provided with any terms. My experience with Henderson was apparently not uncommon judging from other interviews.

The leak detection side of their offerings was fine.
However, I made the mistake of hiring them for their plumbing. Their plumber found the most roundabout, expensive way to resolve the issue and turned a $400-$500 fix into a $2500 fix.
Even once it was fixed, it started leaking again a few weeks later. This was supposed to be covered by my warranty, but they wanted more money.I ended up paying another $250 so they would do the fixe the way it should've been done in the first place.
If you use them to find your leak, do not under any circumstances hire them to fix anything.
