Daley Plumbing & Heating Company Plumbing Service
Called about a plumbing issue and the owner made bizarre statements about tattoos and where they were on my biceps?  Weird. Seemed  incompetent.

Filan & Conner Plumbing Service
I had a problem with my high efficiency boiler. It would lockout and I would have to manually reset it. I had had this problem since the boiler was installed. No one was ever able to fix it!  I had 6 estimates to repipe my boiler, and Filan & Conner were the only ones to not insist I get an entire new system. They also didn't call me honey, baby, or sweetie! They were fast and professional! Thank you, Tony R!!!

They just did air conditioning for me and I am very happy!
Thanks again!

Buzz Duzz Plumbing Service
Let me start off by saying that Buzz Duzz Plumbing is by far the best plumbing company that I have ever had the privilege of doing business with. After a devastating house fire in 2014 and having all brand new plumbing installed throughout the entire home, something was just not right. The first week that we moved back in our plumbing backed up and has been a constant problem ever since. After contacting the original company who did the work, namely Plumbarama (Bensalem) (see my not so wonderful review on them), they were complete jerks. I had plumber after plumber out to no avail. My plumbing continued to back up. It would back up in every conceivable location....into my laundry room, all toilets, my showers and kitchen sink. It was a total disaster! That was until I contacted Buzz Duzz. I was put in contact with Buzz himself, and what an amazing guy! He took the time to listen and understand my situation. He allowed my the opportunity to ask questions and actually gave me some education on how plumbing worked. He dispatched his guys that very same day. Two of the nicest technicians came out, took their time and finally after four years of this nonsense determined what the problem was. It was a nice malicious gift left behind from the work done during the house fire construction!!! But thanks to Buzz Duzz my plumbing has been trouble free and working great ever since. These guys were so thorough, professional, courteous and trustworthy I will never use another company again. I highly recommend Buzz Duzz, I just wish there were more companies out there like them.

Brian Anthony's Refrigeration Plumbing Service
Don't hire!!! They claimed my a/c coils had a crack. When I got there to take a look one of the workers ran past me with the coils and threw them in his truck.
They installed everything correctly but now there's a refrigerant leak. I called them to get them to come out and the guy doesn't show up for the appointment.

Luna Brothers Maintenance Team Plumbing Service
The service provider came and consulted on the problem I had. We set a time and date for the repair. On the day of the repair I called and messaged the provider, but there was no response. The provider did not show up nor return any calls/messages.

We The Plumbers Plumbing Service
I had a leak coming from my upstairs toilet and Tom took the time to look around and evaluate the problem. He explained in detail what the issue was and the work required to fix it. Since it was a big job, we discussed a payment plan and he created an electronic invoice within minutes to schedule the work. I even called him the day before he was supposed to come about another plumbing issue I had, and he was quick to say what he would need to do and was ok with adding it to the job. All of the pricing was reasonable, his customer service was excellent, and his flexibility was appreciated. I would definitely hire him again (but hopefully I don't need to haha). Oh! There's also a cleaning service that comes in after the work is done at no additional cost!

Handyman services by Blake Plumbing Service
This man does good work and he is very reasonable.   That is first and foremost and should be said.   HOWEVER, he is all over the place.   His ever changing policies, his ridiculous rants on Facebook about customers who aren't satified (which he usually ends up deleting ), his constant patting himself on the back, the confusing and ever changing communication is enough to make you NOT want to like him on social media any more or use his services.    His FB business page is like a users online diary, it is all over the place. Just stick to your job.    Stop posting dumb stuff constantly and let your work speak for itself.   You are destroying your reputation with this nonsense and your all over the place rules that seem to change daily.   Chill.out. my dude.  You are legit starting to look like something is extra sus.

This review is being given by someone who has had Blake do work in my home, recommended to others both personally and in the community,  and also had Blake screw me over not following up when contacted for an emergency after initially speaking to him.   So I have had it all.

Statewide Sewer & Drain Plumbing Service
Juan helped me install an electronic toilet seat. At first we thought it was an easy task, but it turned out the water pipe and valve needed to be replaced. Juan went out and bought all the parts for me and got everything done quickly. He is very friendly and helpful and the price is fair. Highly recommended.

American Water Resources Plumbing Service
I, unfortunately have fallen for this HORRIBLE company, their terrible customer service, their RUDE representatives and sneaky billing strategies.

I live in Yonkers, New York in Westchester County. Everyone knows it is the most corrupt city in this county. Probably in the STATE. I've learned this over the six annoying years of owning my home in this now DUMP. A $650,000.00 home now probably worth nothing. I finally decided put it on the market and leave this state. Of course, thanks to the politicians that have ruined New York. So, what is all this rambling I am doing here and this county in relation to AWR ? This county made a deal with this OUTSIDE (New Jersey) company li and a very big percentage of home owners here have experienced or are currently experiencing similar and even worse issues with this lousy company.

I attended a few city council meetings and this company and concerns have been bought up in conversation many times. Home owners complained about the customer service and the billing issues numerously. The people on the council including the city's mayor and the county executive know exactly what this company has been getting away with, but haven't done anything. Tells me that they have a particular interest in funds instead of the interest of their constituents. How typical... As for my personal experiences... I have been receiving pay due notices since day one of 2016. I pay the FULL AMOUNT every year and they send me notices all the time that become confusing and annoying. After spending nearly week to make some time of contact with their representatives. I finally got someone on the line to only experience some rude and nasty person that was having a bad. This person was condescending, and tried to patronize me (the customer) with her nonsense instead of being helpful. I had to put this lady in her place and then asked to speak to a supervisor. Can you believe she hung up on me??? I called back a few times and gave up after three attempts. This company has been also billing monthly after I paid the entire year without my consent. This week I tried to speak to someone about this (like the last five years) and of course NO REPLY.

Best advance I could give on the thread is to NOT have ANYONE talk you into needing this company or their services, because their are NO services. Go elsewhere... As for me, I am currently going to have these morons reimburse me and I will find either another company or just do the work myself. All this aggravation is not worth it all. If I could give this company a ZERO... I would. I think a third-world country company does a better job then AWR.

Sincerely,

Juan Vega

P.S. NO FEAR IN MY HEART. YOU SUCK!

Lowry Services Plumbing Service
I am not a fan of Lowry Services, and neither should you be. Where to start - this company is as unprofessional as they come.  They price gouge, do shoddy work, and do not honor their so called warranty.

A month and a half or so ago, Lowry Services installed exhaust fans in two of my bathrooms.  When the electrician told me he was going to go to Lowe's to get the fans, I told him to get good ones, and I'll pay the increased price for them.

Fast forward a bit.  I noticed that after showering, my bathroom wall gets moisture on it.  I researched the model number of the fans and leaned that these fans get very poor ratings.  That explains the moisture.  When I called to explain this, the representative was friendly, and scheduled me for a repair visit.  I also requested additional work to get done.

As soon as the electrician named Matt arrived, he immediately told me that there is nothing he can do to address the moisture issue.  He said the fans are 120 CFU fans, and that they are fine for the bathrooms.  He suggested that I hire a carpenter to remove the bathroom doors and saw off a quarter inch along the bottom of them - then said this may help with the moisture.  He said another option would be to shower with the bathroom door(s) open.  I'm sure my fiancé and daughter would have an issue with this.

My family is not showering with the doors open, nor am sawing off the bottom of my doors because it is not needed.  I lived in other houses where the doors didn't need sawing and the exhaust fans worked fine.  Additionally, the fans are 110 CFU, not 120 CFU.  Regarding the incorrect CFU guess you would think that the company that supplied these fans would know what they installed.  Then again, if Matt took the time to actually look into the issue for more than 45 seconds, he may have been able to speak more intelligently on this concern.  Needless to say, this issue was not addressed - barely looked into, and the moisture continues to happen.  I'm assuming it is only a matter of time until my paint starts to bubble.

I also have a few outlets in my house that do not work.  Outlets that do not work seems like entry level electrician work, but what do I know.  I paid over $300.00 to have these outlets fixed.  After about an hour, the electrician fixed one outlet, and seemed stumped on the others (which are all on one side of the house).

His answer to me was to ask me to pay an additional $308.00 dollars for him to continue.  When I initially scheduled the job, I asked that these outlets be fixed, not that I pay over $300.00 to hope that they get fixed.  I surely wasn't expecting to be asked for an additional $308.00 for him to continue - and with no guarantee that he would even fix them even then.  So, after spending over $300.00 to get my outlets fixed - I am still sitting in the dark, while Lowry Services leaves with my money.

I also asked Lowry Services to install two Ring Spotlight Security Cameras.  The one in my backyard was installed with the spotlights hanging loose.  I had to re-aim them and tighten the thumb screws.  No big deal, but I was charged over $400.00 for this one spotlight/camera installation - so I should not have had to do anything.

The other spotlight/camera installed over my garage wobbles a bit because he used the same mounting box from the old spotlight that he removed instead of using a new one.  That hardware is probably ten years old or more.

There are many company's out there that prey on people that are either in vulnerable situations, or who may not know any better.  In my opinion, Lowry Services is one of them.  There are way too many other options out there; honest and ethical companies, and I will pursue them going forward.

Mike

Update on 4-12-20:

The owner of Lowry Services contacted me via the cookie cutter message below and said to contact them to discuss these issues to resolve them.  After speaking to their electrician's manager Joe I was told by my own fans and they will install them.  Even though I bought the first two already.  This is the results of Lowry's incompetent work.  Water literally dripping from the exhaust fan and soaking the carpet.  I have a video of this I put on their Facebook page, but I cannot upload it to Yelp.   I also have water running down my walls.

As previously stated, Lowry's wonderful response is for me to go buy new fans and they will install them.  Not them coming over with better fans and replacing them, but telling me to buy them at my expense, so that means I will have purchased four exhaust fans because of their half ass workmanship.  What a joke.
