HISTORY
Established in 1995.
Zoom Drain & Sewer Service is the continuation of a family plumbing business started by our grandfather in 1948. We started Zoom 20 years ago with our dad and brother out of a spare bedroom and with a little borrowed money. Back then we rode together to service calls in a single truck, with at least one of us sitting on a bucket between the front seats. Those were some tough times, but we had great customers and we worked hard to build a thriving shop. Today we still operate the day-to-day business operations with a team of employees who have been with us for years--helping us attain our goals of professionalism and excellence. We're best known for fast response times and our ability to provide focused solutions for drain & sewer problems. From sinks, toilets, and tubs,to main lines and sewers, our team of professionals is ready to provide you with fast, expert service.

Professionals of their work. They installed the water system perfectly for me, I am grateful to them.

Overpriced for the amount of time needed to address the problem. Technician unclogged the pipe in 8 minutes. He had easy outside access, the clog was small and the clog was only 6 feet from the house. I spoke with service manager and he would not budge on the price. He said the technician was here for 40 minutes (that's because he waited while township was removing manholes). He could have been addressing my issue while township was working.
I feel I was taken advantage of because I'm a senior citizen.

Service is ok and similar to most of pluming service. I called them for cleaning my drain fort an urgent issue. The price is a way higher than most of plumber. It is overpriced and warranty period just 15 days. Don't recommend.

Never use this company: we hired them to fix our outgoing water line and in the process they damaged the water main going into our home, resulting in over $10,000 of damages they refused to pay. We have evidence and the project manager admitting their mistake after the fact but never told us that they fractured the water main during their repair of the outgoing line. They tried to cover it up by replacing the fractured part of the pipe but it ended with our front yard being flooded and having our water turned off for a week. Never use this company as they take shortcuts that will cost your thousands of dollars.
I recently used them at my friends referral to clean my sewer line. Not only did they come on a Saturday, they even gave me a time window. I even received a call from someone saying the Tech would be here within half hour to 45 minutes he was here in five from that confirmation call. Took him a little while to clean it because it was very blocked but I am completely happy & they are around the same price as everybody else. I would definitely use them again.

Over $500 to snake a 75 ft line. Had them here twice because the issue came back. The first time, they pulled the toilet. It was a newly restored powder room with Italian marble floor and new $350 toilet. We gave them the caulk that matched the grout to put the toilet back after they pulled it to snake a clogged sewer line; turned out they never used it. Some months went by, same exact problem. We called them again, paid another $500+. They pulled the toilet again, snaked the line and told us to invest in an air assist toilet to try and push the waste and TP down the line. $600 for that toilet. Went to pull out the 1st toilet, and they had EPOXIED IT TO THE MARBLE FLOOR. So that was a you-know-what show. Had a plumber install the air assist toilet. A few months later, same problem.
Instead of calling Zoom Drain a third time, we called a better plumber.
Turns out the sewer line had a negative pitch and a swale from gravity. EASILY diagnosed with a level.
I'm sure Zoom Drain would've been happy to keep taking our money, but we chose to actually fix the root cause. Beyond them damaging a fairly expensive floor (visible because the toilets had different foot-prints), they could've easily put a level on the line and known instantly they were just treating symptoms and not the disease.
Disappointing because they didn't do as we asked (use the caulk), damaged our floor (who epoxies a toilet to a floor?), and weren't solving the root issue. Ultimately, we spent about $1,200 in toilets for the smallest room in the house. (first one went with the plumber who installed air assist, air assist SO loud that once root cause fixed, we went back to first brand for noise factor and to hide the damage they did to the floor).
Between Zoom and toilets we spent over $2k. Which was LESS than the other plumber we found charged us to snake the line, replace the damaged sewer line, set the new toilet, and do like 5 other jobs onsite.
I see other more positive reviews, but the crew we had? Pass. Find your root cause and treat it if you have the time/option to do that. Would never use them again.

3/1/21 if I could give no stars I would. We scheduled a bilateral sewer inspection and we were scheduled for 3/2 in the afternoon and promised we would be called. 3:30 rolls around so we call to see where the tech is oh he's just finishing up and will be on the way to you next. 2 more hours go by now it's 5:30 3/2- we call again - oh the afternoon window is 2-6, he'll be there. Then comes 7 pm- we get a call oh sorry we can't make it tonight, but you'll be the first appointment 3/2.
March 2-8am, 9am, 9:30 am- no call no show. I call and I get the runaround again- now I'm told you're scheduled in the morning window 8am-12 AMAAAZING how when they run late suddenly it's a window appointment. I insisted we were told we would be first. The person I talked to advised they would call when the tech was on the way- we get a call in the afternoon and guess what?! Sorry we can't make it today, we can come tomorrow afternoon
Why would I believe that?! Stay away!! Completely unreliable and utterly frustrating experience. I'm so DONE!
This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. No communication. We have been trying to get our ground floor condo drains cleaned out for preventative maintenance and have literally been screwing around for over 2 months.
First, they wanted a deposit, we tried to cut a check for 50% and then it was discovered our property management company is a client - no deposit - but that was not communicated to the scheduler. We finally scheduled the appointment, Four-households have been sitting here since 8am waiting and the tech is out sick. No one called. It took me a text and two phone calls to find this out.
Prior to this we had them come to do a drain clearing that had a clog and the two people they sent had no idea what to do. Thankfully they sent another gentleman, Lonnie Friench, who did a super job. That is the only reason that we went through the hassle to try to book them for our preventative maintenance. But we are done and will find another company.
Save yourself the headaches of dealing with Zoom Drains and find someone else.
Zoom came to repair our sewer line in June 2021. It is now June 2022 and we are still working and paying to fix the damages they caused. The technician was polite, however, there were many issues with the work. In addition, management was extremely unresponsive.
1. They put the cleanout underground right in the middle of our walkway. The clean up was under our torn up walkway, that Zoom had to rip apart and that we are required to fix ourselves. Putting the drain underground was great and a huge help. We were told they messed up and it was an accident that they put it under the walkway. This is a major inconvenience if we ever need to dig it up.
- after many phone calls and emails, Zoom did in fact come out and moved the drain
2. Our electricity to the pool was completely ripped apart. We were told this is very common and happens often by the technician. We had to pay an electrician to come and run new electricity to our pool so we could have a working pool.
3. During the work, our underground corrugated pipe that drains our gutters into the backyard was torn through.
4. They completely ripped up our entire back patio, without giving us warning that they were going to do so.
After many calls, Zoom only took off 2,800 from our bill. However, we have spent more than double that repairing all the damage they have caused. We were extremely disappointed with their work and would not recommend them to anyone.
Good service but very expensive for the work being done. $800 for a job that took less than 1hr is ridiculous
This we spent $1300 for only 4 days for the jet spray don't believe their estimated amount they will have a reason to add your money call the company they have no one in charge they will just shrink the responsibility
STAY AWAY! Your emergency is probably not important to them. Cancelled appointment - my emergency wasn't important enough for them. Was told 45 minutes before my appointment that other emergencies came in today and were more important than mine.
Appreciated the technicians offering a variety of solutions (bandaide fixes for the short term and multiple cost effective long-term options) and estimates when it came to repairing our main sewer line and curb trap back-up issues.
Techs showed up on time, were very communicative and helpful, and cleaned up the job nicely. The team even came back out a week later to follow up on some questions I had. Would definitely choose Zoom Drain again for major sewer or drainage issues.
Plumber was great. Recommend him highly.
Cost was very, very excessive for the work performed
Almost 400 to fix a toilet
I should have gone to Home Depot, bought the part and done repair myself (probably with assistance of google would have been straightforward). That's my bad. I learned my lesson
Ridiculously overpriced! I was stuck along $500 for 45 minutes of work. The job was well executed, but I really should have gotten a second bid.
The guy pulled the toilet up, used his scope to find the blockage and put things back. $500? My bad for getting into a time crunch.

500 to snake a drain; highway robbery! This service call took 45 minutes to resolve our issue. When I called to go over why so high, the customer service department continuously gave reason upon reason why this service is so difficult and how this company is the best. Excuse me, but I think one thing plumbers can accomplish successfully is snaking and clearing a line. We will NEVER use this company again. Go with a local person who is fairly priced!
We had issues with our drains. We weren't sure what was going on. We called Zoom and they were very professional on the phone. They sent in a technician very quickly and also sent a text with a pic of the technician along with a real time ETA. Once Jarrod arrived, it took about 30 minutes. Great service. Would highly recommend if you're having drain issues.

Extremely unprofessional. 1st, their website allows you to schedule your own appmnt. - nice, right? Wrong. After I went through the trouble of setting up my appmnt. I got a call sometime later saying no, that appmnt. wouldn't work (although their website said it was). So, I made another appmnt. w/the caller; it was a 4 hour window, 12-4pm. You guessed it - they didn't show or call. At 4:30pm they did call & I told them not to bother- it was too late.
If I could give them a 0, I would have. Use at your own peril - you've been warned.
Had a clogged sink waste line. Called them and they came the next day. An hour later they had the problem resolved. Great technician, very respectful and knowledgeable. This is the second time I used Zoom Drain. Highly recommend this company

I have a leak, looked for a plumber and scheduled an appt for today...guess what...NO CALL NO SHOW! Left a message and no response. I will look for someone else who is professional and cares about people's time. How can you not show up to a potential customer? Customer service in our country has gone to hell! UPDATE......an owner reached out to me who was interested in fixing the issue. He sent an awesome guy named Chris out the same night who was very straight forward and gave us excellent customer service. The pricing is on the high side, shop around guys! I had to pay over $500 just for them to look down the toilet pipe with a camera.
Zoom Drain responded to my previous review on Yelp - offering to come out and complete the work started - without further charge - and in doing that they honored their contract. In the end they did the right thing and in updating my review I'm doing the same -
It's also right to say again their techs are great - they're professionals at this work. Zoom Drain is a speciality company offering a specific service - their prices reflect their expertise and the hard work, time and equipment that it takes to do this work -
My basement flooded bc our backup battery stopped working. I was told over the phone that they'd provide a free estimate but when the technicians came, it was $356 for a diagnostic only to be told the sump pump is fine and the backup battery is fried. So they unplugged it and that was the fix (less than an hour's worth of work). Trust me - call Mr. Electric if you need fair market pricing.
Excellent response time and service. The technician was extremely friendly, explained exactly what he was doing to address the issue.
Terrible. They insisted they had to come out to see the issue when I asked for pricing. We can't give pricing over the phone because each job is unique. When they come out the technician pulls up a menu with fixed services and fixed prices. He gives me the price on the exact services I had asked to be quoted out earlier. I wouldn't have taken the day off or wasted my morning if they would have just given me the prices over the phone. They are the ones with fixed pricing and fixed services. Be transparent!!! Feels like a scam to me.
I have three drains. Most likely all tie together to one exit. I informed him I already cleared each line about 50-75 feet. It's just the exit I can't find. Tech wants to charge me to clean 3-5 lines for $1000. In all reality I only need one line cleaned to open the exist. Then I ask to how much it costs to scope it. That's $349.
Bye-bye
$379 to snake a waste line and they keep trying to upsell you by pretending the issue isn't fixed. Prices are way too high will not use again. They wanted $500 to use a high pressure treatment, not sure where they're getting these numbers.

Plumber offers me a series of repair options after a quick inspection of my sink. He let me know that the cheaper option that didn't require parts would most likely work. I saved money and haven't faced an issue since. Great and honest!

I used Zoom Drain in South OC, Ca. They were at my house at the time the dispatcher Steve promised, gave me a couple of options, and did the job as promised. Showed me the problem (roots in the main drain line to the street) with the camera in the line. The tech was Chris B.... Job well done, excellent communication. Highly recommend.
I would absolutely recommend this company. An extremely knowledgeable and professional group of people. I can't praise them enough.
Clueless about why pipes backing up. We could do this it might work, or it might not. Etc. $200 for NOTHING. Use a professional not a chain like this or horizon etc. you can get good guys or imbeciles or scammers. Learned my lesson
Fast response and great service. I noticed a clog in my kitchen that was too stubborn for do-it-yourself liquid drain openers to handle so I needed professional help. I called around to a few plumbers, but Zoom Drain had the fastest response with relatively comparable prices. The technician was friendly, cleaned up afterwards, and offered advice on how to keep my kitchen drain flowing better.
My pipe in my new, new house was leaking water and sewage onto the street. Elena scheduled me for the very next day. They kept me well informed of the technician's progress and arrived early within the scheduled window of time. Rob Iberer, the tech, was *fantastic*. He gave me two options with very clear explanations and did a superb job taking care of the problem. Highly recommend this company!

I know it typically does not work this easily every time. However, when I called Zoom this morning they put me in the schedule for this afternoon. I then got a call back asking if a technician in 30 minutes would work for my schedule. Ben showed up in 30 minutes and was able to skillfully communicate what services he could provide to tackle what we were facing.
I then proceeded to somehow think his name was Matt and cheerfully called him Matt the whole time. Never did he correct me, but later reading my invoice I see that I'm oblivious and Ben is patient. He also was able to snake clean, video inspect, and clean out debris clogging our u-bend in under 40 minutes.
So crazily, I called and had working drains again in under two hours. From the time I called.
You guys are the best.

We had a sew line problem and my whole family couldn't use toilets! My husband tried to unclog and didn't know if it was unclogged after using a drain cleaner rented from Home depot for five hours. We called a plumber and the guy asked for $5500 to fix it. Zoom drain popped up after googling, and they sent a gentleman right away. He checked and told us the line was cleaned and made sure it was working before taking off. He didn't charge us a penny. Zoom drain made our day!
I had a blockage at the bottom of the stack out to the main sewer line. The workers were extremely hard working, efficient and cleaned up the space well.
This company is competitively priced, I recommend them highly and would use them again if needed
Great phone experience. Came within two hours of placing the call. They sent me a picture and small profile of who was coming.
He was knowledgeable, genuinely wanted to help, and up front and honest. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
The experience was night and day between zoom and rotorooter who I unfortunately contacted first.
Trying to keep this short, we paid roto $420 to diagnose the drain and nothing else. He told us there was a crack and the drain pipe needed to be replaced AND it wasn't even worth trying to clear the drain. I didn't see a crack. He pointed to some debris. Total cost he said would be $4,950. Their camera had to be decades older than zoom's camera (I worked alongside both techs.). Then I read an Angie's list article that said to be wary of companies who just camera the drain and nothing else. That's why I called zoom. Paid them to sweat their butt off working at clearing the drain, walked me through the entire drain on the camera for 30 minutes.
Zoom total cost - $360.
Amazing. So glad I went with my gut. Thanks zoom!

Rude phone manners. Provided conflicting information, so I asked him to clarify. He proceeded to mansplain his baloney to me again. Perhaps you should take a class in professionalism. There are kids that do a better job.
After a heavy downpour my garage and basement flooded. My regular plumber could not service the drain and recommended that I call Zoom. Glad I did! They squeezed me in on the same day, and sent a text containing the technician's full name and picture as a confirmation. This is not just a nice touch, but gave me added comfort about letting a new person into my home. Hayden and the second technician arrived on time, evaluated the drainage issue, and presented three options for resolution. I ended up going with the most time-consuming option, consisting of removing roots from the storm drain. Last night we had another heavy downpour and the water did not back up. The treatment comes with a 1-year warranty. Hopefully, I'll have no need to use it.
I highly recommend Zoom. The representatives exhibited professionalism from the point of first contact through packing up the truck.

Very pleased with Zoom Drain and our technician Brad. He walked me through everything he was doing, identified the problem, explained it, fixed it, and not only suggested next steps but started to put them in place for us. The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is that the arrival window was blown and I had to call to find out what was going on. Delays happen and that's fine but I would have liked more advance notice. Still, I would definitely call Zoom Drain again and already have an appointment booked to evaluate and get a quote
on a long term solution to our problem.
I called Zoom first thing in the morning for an emergency drain cleaning request. I was told they would come between 12:00pm & 4:00pm. I took the day off from work and now its 9:00pm and they still have not arrived! They called every hour saying the driver is stuck in traffic, what bull crap. Stay Away from this disgrace of a company! I canceled these frauds and will now call a professional company.

James Lamenia was professional and courteous. He explained everything he was doing and why. Stayed with the problem was solved, not an easy job by any stretch of the imagination. His friendly approach put me at ease and gave me the confidence in his work. The entire experience from Home Advisor to setting up the appointment with Zoom Drain and completion of the project by James was great. Recommend them highly
I have a clogged toilet, called a plumber who couldn't fix it so he recommended zoom drain. The technicians came with masks and shoe covers, were polite, cleaned up themselves, and fixed the clog in an hour. I am very happy with their technicians, took one star off because (1) it's quite expensive, more than $400 for a clogged toilet, (2) they wouldn't give me a price estimate beforehand, saying that they must inspect the situation fist, but turned out their prices are fixed charge, so why not provide that information on the phone? (3) they rescheduled my appointment so I waited for four days.
They say they offer flat rate pricing. Tried contacting them and they would not give me the price for drain cleaning. Nor would they give me a price range. They insisted they needed to send out a tech and they would give me a price before they started. I gave them all the pertinent information they would get by looking at it. Basement drain access with bilko doors and usually between 100-120 feet out for the clog. This is the third time in 14years for this issue. Other times have been paper products. I do heating and air conditioning not plumbing and have a history in automotive so fully understand how flat rate pricing works. Wasn't happy to get the run around.

Zoom was fantastic. They were referred by our plumber and came out the next day, and even offered same evening service. We had a persistent waste line issue, which we had cleared by another company 2 or 3 times. Geoff from Zoom arrived and did a diagnostic with a camera snake and quickly identified the problem. He had it cleared in 15 minutes. We thought we had a much bigger (and $5,000) problem, but turned out to be fine tree roots. We used the water jet process, which blasted the roots away. I would recommend this process though it does cost more. Geoff also suggested annual application of root killer to keep them from growing into the waste line again.
I would not bother calling anyone else but Zoom.
Derrick and Nick did an amazing job. They couldn't have been more professional. They explained our options, went right to work and literally showed me everything they were doing step-by-step. I teach courses on customer service and this company gets an A+.

Chris was excellent. Professional, well mannered and respectful guy. Explained what he was doing and was super neat. Definitely recommend.
Mike was great! Very knowledgeable and personable. He walked me through what the service was before he started. He was very professional throughout the service. He cleaned up after the job was done. He got the drain cleared quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the process from the time I called to when he left. The coordinator answering the phone was very friendly and cheerful. She put me at ease and addressed my worry and concerns calmly and professionally.
Zoom Drain was so easy to work with and they were extremely helpful! Very accommodating when scheduling an appointment and came back the next week, free of charge, to fix a small problem.
Ben came out and did a pre purchase video camera inspection. Ben's level of professionalism and the polite people who work in the customer service area are the reason why after I have the house if i have any plumbing issues I will be calling zoom drain. Thanks guys!

They came out to look at a backed up storm drain. Snaked it with the camera and were able to identify the block. When the technician couldn't find the other end of the line, he called in the engineer who came the following day. Engineer was very honest about proposing a DIY solution which I really admired. Furthermore, the fee I paid the previous day would apply toward any additional work I did with them for the next year. I don't think they're the cheapest, but found them to be honest, organized, well equipped and transparent.

James L did a superb job with my sewer drain issue in my home. We just moved in this week to a flipped home that was vacant for a year. Now that we began to run the water it began to come under the baseboards into the basement. James laid out a plan and presented the information very well. He used a camera to show that the line was clear. He recommended follow up options if the problem persists.
Mark Sell and his assistant were excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend as they have the equipment to properly clean your drain as well as plumbing expertise. Both inside and outside the house are fixed.

This review does not reflect on the employee who came to our house named Sean. He was incredibly honest and was a true professional. My problem lies with the fact that this company was trying to charge me $749 for something that I previously paid $325 for! I ended up getting the job done for $199 because the guy said it was so minor he couldn't charge me more! If money is absolutely no object for you then go ahead and hire them. They may, in fact, do a decent job. But I am thrilled that I was able to avoid being totally ripped off by a company who must have no conscience,
I can only speak to their customer service but I had a four hour window appointment and received a call halfway through the window that they weren't going to come and they would only offer me another 4 hour window at a later date. I stayed home on a weekend for the appointment and decided to find another provider
I want to say that I knew in our new normal with working from home and my daughter doing virtual school, our internet would be pressed to the max. I just didn't think our toilet and sewage pipe would back up. We called the 24hr services of Zoom Drain, and in less than 1 hr and 1/2, our drain and toilets were back to normal. Our service technician, Darius was courteous and very knowledgeable and worked fast to get us back on our way to a functioning pipe system. My family and I are grateful for the excellent service provided by Darius and Zoom Drain. I would recommend them to anyone, especially as they are open and work 24 hours a day. Thank you Zoom Drain and Darius. Now if only I can get my internet service to move as fast as the septic system is!

I called Zoom Drain on Monday, 3/1 and got an appointment for Wednesday, 3/3 between 8:00 am and noon. I was told that we were the first job of the day which I thought was great. In the mean time, we are conserving water usage because the main sewer pipe was significantly blocked. Well, at about 11:45, I get a call saying that they are busy with another customer and that they would be out between 2 and 6 pm. At around 5 pm, I receive a call saying that they would not be out today and that they would gladly come out the next day 3/4 between 2 and 6 pm. At about 4:30, I called Zoom to ask what the status was. The customer service rep told me that I was still on the schedule and they would be out. Literally, 30 seconds later I get a call from Zoom saying that they are booked with another customer and wouldn't be out until the next day between noon and four. The woman who called me back was rather abrupt and told me that a manager would call me back. I'm still waiting for that call back. I my so annoyed, because I had seen such good reviews and they were treating me like this. Now we are going on five days with having to conserve water. I called a local plumber who came out and helped me. (He was even early.) Bottom line is, if you want something done soon, steer clear from this company. I gave them multiple chances to make good on their promise and they failed to deliver. Not good business practices. If you can wait a week or two, they might be fine to work with, but who knows?
Came to our S. Philly apartment complex and worked professionally to resolve a bad issue. He cleaned up after himself. I would recommend this company and will use them again.
We had two stopped up drains that were connected together into a single pipe somewhere within the house. Zoom called to ask if they could come earlier, which I agreed to. Steve was at the house by the time I got there. They covered their feet before coming into the house. Helped me explain the problem by asking questions. Explained what they were going to do and the cost. Had me sign an agreement noting this, went right to work, solved the problem and were done in less than 15 mins. The technicians were very professional, easy to work with, and thorough. Great job and will use again (hopefully not too soon)

Jason was incredibly thorough and direct (no BS). The latter I've found quite rare in my experience with home repair/maintenance providers so I am very appreciative. Highly recommended.
Where does one start when one is gleaming with joy! My floor drain in the basement was clogged and there was a large pool of water over it. Juan asked me a few question before getting started & told me he thought because of the age of the house and pipes that it was more likely than not a buildup ( like the build up one gets in their arteries). He was right. After about 30mins he pulled out some debris after running the snake, and boy was there a lot.
I'm one happy camper and will be contacting Zoom in the future.
Thanks Juan
Trench-less sewer (pipe bursting) of old damaged cast iron Sewer line with new line. About 60 foot.
Thanks to Zoom (Matt, Eric, and the team), they got my job done!! It did not go as planned as the ground was apparently hard and the cast iron line was thick and they had to dig two more holes than planned, but Zoom did an exceptional job and the clean up was tremendous. They were here for 2 1/2 days v the planned 1. They got the job done for the price they quoted.
Thanks to Zoom for their professionalism and proficiency!

Our technician Juan Carlos was extremely professional and informative from the moment he walked in the door. He was very knowledgeable and explained how our lines got backed up and showed us on the camera. I would highly recommend Zoom Drain and Will request Juan for any future issues.

Mark Sell & his apprentice we're both very courteous, professional & prompt. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Would definitely recommend them. Also, they were the 1st to respond from a list of plumbers

Nadir was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. He quickly assessed the problem, explained our options and got the work done. I would highly recommend him and Zoom drain!
So initially when I called it was New Years Eve, we discovered our sewage was backing up into our basement around 4pm we called and was told they were extremely busy and couldn't get out til the next day. We understood that because it's a holiday! Next day guy came literally here 30-40 mins bill $450 bucks smdh he did a great job cleaning up and all was well until 4 days later sewage backing up again! Of course we called them back and now I'm pissed because its 10am when I called for the secretary or whoever she was was trying to tell me I may be charged again which didn't make sense because it was less than a week when they came out! She gives me a window of 12-4 that came and went, they called and said they would be here by 8pm that also came and went, they finally showed up around 11pm fixed the same issue we thought was fixed the previous week, no I wasn't charged again. So around 11:45/12 I come down stairs to see them watching my husband play his PS5 smdh I'm like really?! the one guy says well at least the problem is fixed!! So not the point but ok, hopefully I wont have to call them back again for the same issue, It's been another week so far so good! I will say they were nice and quick, well at least the first time but very pricey
Mark was very professional, polite, and got the work done quickly and in good quality. The office staff Remy was efficient and pleasant in scheduling and sending reminder in advance. Overall, very happy with the company and the team.

We called zoom drain cleaning for two reasons one thay are located in the neighborhood and because of a slow draining stand up shower drain. Ben Kleiss came out he was friendly knowledgeable and got the job done. I RECOMMEND ZOOM DRAIN ANS SEWER SERVICE.
From start to finish, Matt Bowers, Eric Paolucci, and the rest of Zoom Drain team were extremely professional. Matt B. was initially the point of contact and remained available at ANY time of the day or night for any questions or concerns. Eric P. was then brought in, along of the rest of the team, to finish out the work. Every member of the Zoom Drain team was very respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. 5 stars doesn't clearly describe the type of costumer service we received from the Zoom Drain team. Thank you again for handling this very stressful time for our family.
Very helpful and knowledgeable. Broke everything down so it was easy to understand. Also took time to answer all my questions.

Responsive, fast, reliable. The trifecta.
Scheduling with Zoom was easy and the actual service was excellent. Chris Curtin was knowledgeably, respectful, fast and covered everything I needed to understand about my drain problem.
Steve Martino did an excellent job of determining the issue and fixing it. They came out earlier than scheduled, which when you have a potential blockage is good. They also came out on Black Friday in very cold weather with no surcharges. They were honest and the price was fair. This is my go-to company for sewer drain issues.

Great experience - our technician Benjamin was friendly and knowledgeable, and he arrived right on time (nice touch: they sent me a text with his name and photo before he arrived). He was easy to work with, saw the problem right away, and provided me with a comprehensive quote.
The price was very good compared to the big-name competition (I checked!), and included not only clearing my blocked main, but sending a camera down afterwards, which not all companies include. He never tried to sell me any extras, no special overpriced enzymes or other unnecessary add-ons. They did what they said they would do, did it well, and did it for the price we agreed upon. The service was priced right and came with a six-month guarantee. I cannot ask for more than that!

First, I want to thank Chris & Steve for understanding my frustrations and making my situation better than it was before. Chris was able to help me rule out possible problem and narrow down what my issue could be. Then he provided me some things to do to troubleshoot myself to rule out some other things so I can figure out what I should do next. The entire team I spoke with at Zoom were all very professional and curtsy. However, the big thing with them they understand we are not programmed plumbers and don't throw terminology that is foreign to you. Chris was really good at explaining so I followed, which is appreciated.

We live in South Philly and we also had a blocked line from our house into the city sewer. Any rain water draining from our backyard, laundry, toilets flushing, etc. were all backing up into our basement. Disgusting. Being first time homeowners we mistakenly called a plumber first whom we paid $55 to spend about 5-10 minutes looking at our basement and then to tell us we need a drain service. He gave me two numbers to try. The first was Drain Vision. They were all business and the lady over the phone said it would be about $200 just for them to come check on the problem with no guarantees.
Luckily, we called Zoom next. The lady on the phone was a bit more friendly and accommodating. Zoom will send a technician out for free and you only pay once the problem is diagnosed and you agree to their service. Initially they were going to get a technician out to us that evening, but they did call back to say the jobs their technicians were on were taking longer than anticipated and they were unable to get anyone out to us until the following morning. Our technician Chris was really helpful when we had questions. Chris assured us there is a 6 month warranty on their services. They're also technologically savvy as we had an invoice/receipt by e-mail within minutes after Chris left. Overall, great service.
For us, on a weekday, we had options to snake out our drain for $350 or to powerclean the entire length of our sewage pipe with high pressure water for $550. I do wish they had presented us with these likely options over the phone so my girlfriend and I could do some research and talk about it in advance. We did a couple minutes of googling and decided the powerclean might be worth it since our recently purchased home wasn't very well cared for by previous owners. Though we can't be certain if it's not a bit of a trick to make a couple extra hundred off of us?
Anyway, long story short, Zoom got a technician to us within a day and they had our line unclogged within a couple hours. Quite the relief.
Josh was great. Very pleasant, courteous and professional. It was a challenging job, but he persisted until the drain was cleared. It was especially tough being without a shower and I had a difficult time finding someone available so I really appreciate Zoom's 24/7 service. I'll definitely be recommending them!

After Roto-Rooter failed to unclog our sewer pipe, we called Zoom. They worked hard for over four hours to run their cable over 160 feet to the tree roots in our pipe at the end of our long driveway. Tyler Seroskie and Derrick Gant were the most professional, knowledgeable and hardworking guys one could hope for! We are grateful to have flushing toilets, running water, etc once again.......all thanks to Zoom!!
Benjamin was great! We had a very annoying bubbling noise coming from our kitchen sink. He was very patient, correctly diagnosed the issue, and efficiently fixed the problem. Would definitely use zoom drain again!
This is the second time I've called Zoom to clean out my storm and sewer drains. Steve Martino is always on time, polite, knowledgable and just pleasant to deal with. Wouldn't choose anyone else for this service.
Ben and Josh showed up on a rainy Saturday night and fixed our drain in time to save our Mother's Day brunch. We're very grateful. They were fast, efficient, and very nice.
The tech spent 4 hours to clear a stormwater pipe. Another service wanted to take down trees and replace the pipe. But the zoom tech worked through it and was amazing. Saved 2 trees and about $5,000.

Juan Carlos from Zoom Drain was phenomenal. He evaluated the problem, gave me a couple of options for remediation and the pricing up front. He fixed the problem as discussed. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him and his services.
Zoom Drain cleared our courtyard drain this morning. They were on time and completed the job quickly. Also had foot covers to protect the wood floor and treats for the dogs!
The first plumber we had scoped our outside sewer pipe and told us the pipe was broken and tree roots were growing into it. They specifically wrote that we needed to take 3 trees down before they would begin excavating and the cost to replace the pIpe was $8,000.000. I called Zoom Drain to get another opinion and it was a good thing I did. Nadir, the service technician recommended that we scope the pipe again and he arranged to have a system engineer give us his opinion. The company sent Rob, the engineer, to the house and he rescoped the pipe. He was thorough and patient in explaining everything he did. He found that we had another trap in the sewer pipe closer to the house that had been buried when the trees were planted. He found that the pipe was not broken but there was residue inside the cast iron pipe. Nadir returned and jet cleaned the pipe for about $500.00 and I got to save the trees. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their service. I only wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
Benjamin was very knowledgeable,he came right in and got to work. He discovered the problem with our backyard drainage system within an hour! We are very please with the zoom and their technicians and will be a loyal customer!
I called Zoom Drain Monday night and they were here the next morning right on time.
Joseph A. was very professional. He did a great job cleaning out a clogged main line and then we scoped it to check for any other issues. While down in the crawl space, Joe also spotted a leak coming from the toilet in my new bathroom, and I gave him the ok to pull it apart to see what the issue was. The contractor that installed the new toilet did not do a good job with the installation. Joe did a great job and reset my toilet the right way. Now my toilet looks like a professional installed it. Thanks Joe.
Can't say enough good things. Placed a call at 9am and Jason arrived in under 2 hours. He fixed some major clog issues we had very quickly. I'll use Zoom Drain again.
I've learned that not all plumbing issues permanently disappear even with Scott's thin toilet paper, a plunger, Home Depot's non-irritating/damaging citrus/enzyme natural Liquid Power drain cleaner, & a good plumber.
And not to spend time, $$$, frustration on repeat service calls for drain problems including replacing some cast-iron pipes with plastic, instead of starting first with good local Zoom's no-cost investigation, who then recommends you call a plumber if not need drain solution Zoom provides estimate for.
Recommended by both my local oil company and by Angie's List consumer reviewers, 24/7 Zoom's FREE house call, WARRANTIED advance FLAT-RATES including senior & customer discounts, and top-skilled, strong, energetic, honest, nice young problem-solving pros I feel completely comfortable with in my home handling my 50-year-old cast-iron pipes, in the long run save me money, time, & stressful frustration & house damage with Zoom's state-of-the-art investigating with a long camera, educating me & curing the problems under warranty instead of repeatedly throwing money at the symptoms not curing the causes.
Field Supervisor Steve Solla honestlly reduced his initial estimate by a whopping $360 after discovering our atypical pipe design branch off the main line didn't need a separate power-hosing. Such humble integrity with ethics & warrantied problem resolution gained my trust, customer loyalty retention, & referrals to others. Though my water bill rose that month with the pipe hosing, it was worth it less risky to house & more effective than snaking.
Zoom's night tech Chris Samarco also was very reassuring & helpful on the phone even before arriving for warrantied after-hours follow-up on individual drains it surfaced was needed after Zoom hosed the main pipes. Office support Remy is also a strongly knowledgeable and helpful team member; & even the night answering service/dispatchers mirror the same top quality as the rest of the team.
If I'd known to have Zoom inspect my 50-year-old house before purchase, as Zoom informed me is now the law in PA, I'd have better understood up front how to prevent problems. But now I know, including next step if needed: outdoor pipe repair from ground tilt it is inexpensive to insure by HomeServe for outdoor water & sewer pipes, with a discount for AARP members. This outfit is run so well in the Philadelphia area that they're starting another on Long Island NY with technician Garrett, who helped us superbly here too. Buy stock if Zoom goes public! :)
Tyler was my zoom drain tech and he was fantastic. He snaked out my drain and was very upfront with options and pricing and did not upsell at all. Very happy with the results and would recommend.
Very professional, knowledgeable , knew what he was doing. Took the time to see where the problem might be and then explained what he could do to find the problem. Did the service same day as estimate.
I needed the sewer trap in front of my house unclogged. The plumber from zoom got to my house within 10 minutes of me calling, then was able to snake the line and clear out the issue within 30 minutes. After having negative experiences with another plumber in the area, it was nice to have such efficient service from a knowledgeable person. The cost of snaking the line was a bit higher than someone I've had it done before by, however the other company never actually fixed it so it was worth the cost in my mind.

Hayden from Zoom Drain arrived at my house within a few hours of my call. He was professional, courteous, explained everything he was doing in-depth, answered my questions. I believe the pricing for my service was fair also. I will call Zoom Drain again if needed.
What a great company! Toilet completely backed up on Sunday. We tried plunging and snaking to no avail. Another plumber recommended we call Zoom. We actually spoke with someone on Sunday night, got into the schedule for Monday morning. Received a call if it was a good time to send the tech, received a text and email confirmation with photo of gentleman who was coming. Benjamin arrived promptly, assessed the situation, and explained the services he would try with pricing. He got the drained cleared with the least expensive option first, ensured that all was working well and was extremely professional, friendly and efficient. We will only use Zoom for our drain problems in the future. A+ highly recommended!

Some of the best service I have ever experienced! Chris Curtin, the technician, was right on time, and did a great job clearing a drain we had been struggling with! He explained what he was doing ahead of time and the estimate he gave me was much lower than I expected. When he finished, there were no surprise charges, it was exactly what he quoted me. Chris also made sure that the area was cleaned up completely. I would use Zoom Drain again in a heartbeat and will be recommending them to friends and family for sure!
I had an issue with my storm drains backing up. I called for an appointment yesterday and they were able to come out today. Jeff and Brad came. They introduced themselves and were very personable. I showed them my issue. They looked it over and gave me a price. In an hour or so my problem was resolved. They showed me how well the drain flowed now and explained that they guarantee the work for 6 months. I couldn't be happier.

This company is so awesome! Our main drain line was clogged and it was leaking onto our bathroom floor and going out on the street. Call this company and they were out at my house within two hours. They are open 24/7 which is awesome because this problem needed to be solved that day. Nadir was so helpful. Answered all my questions and did great work. Was honest in all his answers. I would totally use this company again.

We had an unexpected backup at 9:15 PM. Zoom arrived within an hour, jetted our line, and had us up and running again. Our tech was so polite, explained things well and was so professional. I would call them again and again.
I called over a holiday weekend and they called me back the next day! They were prompt, professional and did great service. Juan was the tech who came out and he was very good. He was complete, knowlegeable, and really a nice person. I am very grateful for the great service!

Had several other plumbing companies come out for a clogged drain that was causing basement flooding. They had no clue of what the issue was and gave quotes in the thousands. I finally happened upon Zoom Drain (if I remember correctly I read a good review of them in a Facebook home repair group). I gave them a call and they had a technician come out for a free estimate. He gave a reasonable quote for the services that would be needed. I scheduled the service and Juan C. came out to fix my clogged backyard drain. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and overall a great technician. He answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to make sure I understood the process from start to finish. I highly recommend Zoom Drain as his will be the the first call I make if I ever have any home plumbing issues again. PS I luv getting the picture of who the technician is via text before they come...means a lot to a female homeowner!!
The most horrible place to go. Did not listen to my concern and made up a diagnosis and charged me ton of money. be aware, don't call
Zoom was quick to respond and excellent at communicating regarding the appointment. Derrick was patient and explained my options so I could elect how to remedy our plumbing backup. He also explained things clearly and thoroughly as he fixed our problem. I am very satisfied with Zoom and highly recommend them.
After having a 5 minute conversation going over everything I will need done I thought I was insured to have services completed by Zoom in a very different manner than they were. I was told they would give me a call 30 to 45 mins before showing up. Well I didn't I received a call saying they would be there in 10 mins which is not a bad thing for some people, but when it is not your home and they show up unexpectedly it is 1. Unfair and inappropriate to the homeowner and 2. Rude to me since I expressed with the dispatcher the circumstances. I arrive and the technican is walking all over the property another strike against this company not following requests. Upon starting the services the line breaks on their equipment and they have to leave the site. Finally he comes back and completes his job to find out that the price we spoke about on the phone was not what I was then charged. When speaking to the dispatcher again I was laughed at and hung up on. Very disrespectful and not how a company should treat a customer. Please reconsider this company and record any conversations with them in the future.

Great experience working with Zoom drain. The entire team was very knowledgeable. They were able to diagnose the issue very quickly and provided a great service. They had to fix a broken main drain line 6 feet underground and did a fantastic job. Very Professional. Would strongly recommend

Wow. What a stand up company. I called and left a message on a Sunday night and sure enough received a call as soon as they opened on Monday morning. The office/scheduling staff were incredibly helpful working around my erratic work schedule, since I didn't know when I would be home or able to take a phone call, and rescheduled my visit a few times throughout the day to accommodate the craziness. Then, when the tech came, he was polite and professional and was kind enough not to laugh at me when what I thought was a drain clog was not at all. Further, since it wasn't really a problem, he didn't charge me, even though he took the time to come to my house and evaluate the issue. Such a great company - would hire them again 100%.
I was very pleased with Zoom. Arrived as scheduled. Tony, was great. Very professional and friendly. Pricing was reasonable. I would recommend them.
Have zoom come out to our commercial property a couple times a month, theyre always on time and more than reliable. They always take great care of the property and leave it cleaner than when they came. Normally deal with ben K., he seems to be one of their better techs, and is more than knowledgeable

Had a sewage backup in my basement 6 on a Sunday night. Jeff called me back in 15 minutes as advertised. He was 2 jobs away, but on site by 9 and wrapping up by 10. After snaking the drain he ran a camera down and checked the pipes. We watched the dirty movie all the way down the pipe and found no cracks. Have nothing but good things to say about his service.

Very pleased with the entire experience with this company. They responded the same day, fixed the stopped up drain and charged a very fair price. Will definitely use again if needed.
I have had a clogged/sluggish for 3 days. Finally called Zoom. Technician came out quickly and explained the potential charges. Came back shortly after to tell me that it wasnt as serious as he thought and would cost much less. Yay! Made me happy. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience with Jared, Steve and the entire Zoom team.
I had a main line clog from some kids in the neighborhood putting items down our exterior cleanout. I had called in another plumber over Memorial Day weekend and they had attempted to make the repair. They said the line was clear, however it backed up into the basement 2 days later. Their return technician said the only option was to dig up the line.
I quickly called Zoom to get their opinion. Their technician Steve was out the next day and, with a camera and a shop vac, removed all of the items from the line one by one. This was a much more professional approach than the other contractor and I am very satisfied. I've even passed their information throughout the neighborhood in hopes that someone else will utilize them as well.
I would highly recommend them for all your drain needs.
We called Zoom and got very fast service. Chris R and Ben were great. They took care of our stuffed main drain quickly. They arrived when promised and were very polite, neat, and efficient. My wife and I could not be more pleased with their service and professionalism. They unclogged our main drain, gave us information on how to keep it from happening again, and cleaned up after themselves perfectly. We can recommend Zoom Drain without any hesitation!

I was referred to Zoom by my plumber after my laundry drain line clogged up. I had them come out twice. Both times the technicians were polite, gave me the price upfront ($230-ish), and then got to work. Neither one seemed particularly confident answering my questions. The first time the guy was very thorough, snaked it twice for me, and took the time to run the washer to make sure the drain was open, and then tried to sell me on some drain cleaner solutions. I had no issues for 4 months. The second guy was less experienced, very friendly, but only ran the water vs. a load. I only got one cycle that didn't overflow and so I utilized their 30 day warranty (they come back for free). This time the manager came out and actually analyzed my issue. The plumbing wasn't up to code, the way the pipes were laid wasn't intelligent, and I needed to get my plumber out to install a utility sink. He apologized that neither technician noticed these issues. You would hope that guys who stare at drains all day would have knowledge of codes or at least notice when something seemed off. Wish I could've gotten that last $230 back.
I called Zoom to help me out with roots in my sewer lateral referred to me by another plumber. Remy answered the phone and was extremely helpful. She said she could send someone out the same day for a free estimate. Ben showed up exactly on time when I mentioned that I would be home from work. He went over my options with me. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He gave me the best option for our situation. He went right to work. I love that the prices are a flat rate (doesn't matter how long it takes, still the same price). He worked on the lateral as long as it took to get the roots out and made sure there was nothing left. Ben took the time to explain what he was doing and showed me on the camera everything that he did. I highly recommend Zoom and especially Ben and Remy!! Zoom has specialized equipment that most plumbers do not have. I work with a lot of contractors and it means something when they recommend other companies like Zoom. Zoom will be my choice if another situation happens to come up. Ben was awesome! Thank you for everything!!!
Zoom is a rip-off. They charge very high prices. We used them in an emergency and will never use them again. Then they gave us a $4,000 estimate for work that our local plumber did for $1,000. Use a reputable local plumber instead of Zoom.
Consummate professionals who have an honest, rational approach and get the job done. I had another company (two words, both start with R) come look at the problem and they handed me a contract for almost $10,000 to excavate my lawn and replace the storm and sanitary line after showing me mud that they claimed came out of my broken storm line. Zoom thoroughly examined and mapped out the drainage system of my property. Then they showed me through a video camera that the storm line was perfectly good and exactly where the sanitary line was clogged. (They left me a USB drive showing the inside of the pipes. Something my gastroenterologist never did.) The technician then cut away the roots and showed me the results through the camera. Then he gave me advice on how to keep the pipes clean. All at a reasonable price...MANY times less than the competition's quote. My advice to you for drain problems? Call Zoom first!
4 stars due to time rep showed up 10PM, but still gave me same day service. Good to work with, honest, accurate, did not charge hourly but by job type. This is what I had done: Came out and the customer has been having issues with the main drain backing up. They called out (another company name starts with H) but they were unable to reach the blockage. They had removed a toilet to access the line. They did not reinstall the toilet. I reinstalled the toilet because I was able to locate outside access at the rear of the house. Once the toilet was reinstalled I powercleaned the main drain. Powercleaned the line going back towards the house first. Powercleaned this section of the line several times to ensure a proper cleaning. Powercleaned from the cleanout going out towards the city sewer. I was able to get the hose out about 110'. Pushed the camera out to this point and found a very large root mass in the pipe. Video inspected the line going back into the house and found this section of the line is clean and clear. I set up a appointment with the customer to return Monday between 1 and 3 to perform a root elimination on the line. There is no warranty on the line at this time due to the large root mass in the pipe. The customer will be credited the cost of the work today towards the price of the root elimination on Monday. Overall, first check cut was for $543, and when they come out again Monday will pay another $460? Not sure if good price or not, but happy with result, and didnt want to mess with the plumbing of my house, we were happy. and would recommend in future or use again (fingers crossed we wont have to)...Company takes Checks, and all Credit cards, Invoice immediately emailed to me upon job being done...
I have had a great experience with Zoom Drain and Sewer Service. As a first-time homeowner, I was really freaking out when I found out that I had a sewer problem after moving in. The person that came out was fully prepared to fix all of my drain problems on the spot, which was great since I had already taken a day off work and couldn't afford to take any more time off. He put on shoe covers before he walked into my home--how considerate! He knew exactly what the problem was within a few minutes, but he still took time to explain to me what was going on and how it could be fixed. I was really worried about the price because I always feel like people just pick a number that sounds good, but he showed me prices in a standard price book, so I could see where he was getting his numbers. They weren't the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive, either--and I can definitely say that I got the highest value for my dollar. I haven't had any back-ups since Zoom came out and took care of my drain. I've already recommended them to my family and friends, but I think everyone needs to know how great Zoom is.
