W & W Plumbing Plumbing Service
I used this group in the past year for a drain replacement. The quote I received was extremely competitive. Beyond the price, the service was outstanding. Very honest and professional from the minute I talked to him until he left the job. Would highly recommend to others.

Drain Openers Plumbing Service
I have been using Drain Openers for more than 10 years now. They are wonderful!!! They are always prompt getting to the job, very courteous and their pricing is always fair. The quality of work is superb and I have recommended them to many others over years with no complaints from anyone. Dave and Tina Swisher are the owners and the two men that usually do work for me are Jeremiah and Mike. You can't go wrong with this company!!

Macon Plumbing Plumbing Service
Tony was awesome. Needed a faucet installed for an investment property and getting the old unit out was mission impossible. He went and got the materials and sawed and sawed until he was able to get the old impossible fixture out and he put the new one in quickly and most importantly correctly. He was pleasant and arrived on time. I wish every vendor was as timely and professional as Tony. I will definitely recommend him to everyone I know.

Chapman Drainage and Basement Repair Plumbing Service
We had slow drain lines to the street and given the house was nearing 40 years old opted to have them replaced vs snaked.  Chapman came out quickly and provided us with the best quote.  They worked very hard and got the job done.  I'm so pleased with the drains and don't worry about heavy rains anymore. Best feeling!

Plumbing & Drain Professionals Plumbing Service
John and Chris were able to eliminate my drain problem in a short amount of time, I had one of the other local companies here first, but they wanted 3x the money to fix the same issue! I'll definitely be using John and the team at Plumbing and Drain Professionals from now on! Thank you for taking care of my plumbing!

Columbus, OH
Worly Plumbing Supply Plumbing Service
I was referred here because they have everything. Well, no they don't. And they don't even know how to make it work...without 5 adapters from this to that to another, just to make a simple fix. Home Depot has the exact part I needed. $12.00

Then, when I returned the two parts I did buy from Worly, totaling $16.00, they charged me $3.00 because THEY got it wrong. THEY gave me the wrong parts because they didn't listen.

I will NOT be back. I will not recommend them to anyone and they do NOT have everything. Including listening skills.

Bad customer service. Bad interaction. Bad policy on returns. The cashier even said they usually don't have that on there. I'm not sure what it is.

Not again. Not me. Not anyone I know.

The Drainworks Plumbing Service
Came out to my condo for a sewer line , backup issue I was having. My association said they would not cover it unless it was a problem within the common sewer line. Technician quickly & honestly diagnosed the issue as one affecting the entire building and suggested I contact my HOA to cover the service. With great integrity, the technician told me he could snake and camera my line and charge me the full cost of the service call, but noted it would not help the issue. I would hire them again. They were upfront when I asked them about their billing prior to coming out.

Foust Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
My wife and I moved to Plain City in June and needed a plumber for a water heater leak. We like to use local companies when possible and found Foust. We called and got an appointment setup the following business day and our issue was a non-emergency. David was the technician that came to the house the following day and he did a great job throughout the day and went from leak inspection to installed & fully functional water heater the same day. I recommend Foust - they did a great job for us.

The Service People Plumbing Service
I haven't used Matt for over a year and a half only because I haven't had a plumbing issue. But in the past I used him 3 to 4 times.  Some of my problems were minor but I also had him install a tankless hot water tank for me. He came over and gave me a quote and guaranteed me not to go over the amount he quoted. He and a coworker were at my home for what I think was much longer than they had planned, and he stayed true to his word.  I'd never paid a penny over what he has ever quoted me. I am always very happy with his work and he has fair prices.  You will not be disappointed if you hire Matt.

McAtee Plumbing Heating & Cooling Plumbing Service
I rarely give 1 star reviews, and I wouldn't have bothered but please beware of this company.

We had to deal with this company through Home Warranty, they outsource their work for any jobs that are assigned out of their home state. This might be why they are so incompetent, but Frank is a total unprofessional liar and this company should definitely not be used at all costs due to their dishonest business practices and fraudulent billing. They have probably been doing this for years, there is probably just cause for a class action lawsuit with how much additional money they have been able to get suckered out of people that do not question their charges. We had in excess of $700 in out of pocket costs on top of what the home warranty company was going to cover for a replacement of a basic hot water heater. The home warranty company does not provide the pricing breakdown, upon calling this company...they refuse to give their price breakdown in the form of email. This should be a red flag #1. They also have girls that work in the dispatch office that have zero customer service skills, maybe they are related to Frank because I saw a common thread there with lack of personality. Once we finally got some verbal breakdown of charges, we realized they are overinflated for bogus inflated permit charges and a disposal fee. Frank immediately blamed his contractor for not putting the correct charges down, that is red flag #2 which shows **** poor management when someone blames a tech for their shortcomings and gets antagonistic for being called out for it and the lack of accountability within a shadily run organization. These were confirmed as bogus charges because we were able to get reassigned to a different company that charged about 1/3 of what they were trying to charge for the exact work that was to be done. Frank and his company are so horrible, that the home warranty company refunded us back our service fee which is pretty much unheard of with these types of places and filed a complaint against him. I was basically told that I could take it or leave it and I can go eff myself and then hung up on.

Baumann Plumbing Plumbing Service
Called for backflow testing on 10 and again on 11 august.  I was told he would be out in the next couple of days.  I discussed a problem with the lid of the backflow device and I was told he would attempt to fix it.  I assumed all would be taken care and forgot about it until I received a past due notice from the city of Columbus threatening to shut my water off if I don't get the test completed and the results submitted.  I immediately called Baumann and of course there is no answer.  Left message, got no response, called again 2 additional times...still no response.  Totally unreliable and unprofessional company to do business with.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Columbus Plumbing Service
All I wanted was the free estimate that they offer. The guy shows up with NO equipment - not even a ladder. He tells me he is the supervisor. Then he radios for another guy who has the ladder and equipment but is also apparently busy. The first guy sits in my driveway for at least half an hour.

Eventually TWO more trucks show up. One with the ladder and diagnostic equipment - which are essential for the free estimate. And another truck with a giant water tank on the back. After two Mr Rooter employees crudely banter (complete with curse words) in my front yard within earshot of my children, they eventually get on the roof and start troubleshooting my problem.

None of what they did at this point sounded like they knew what they were doing. It took them far too long to even figure out where the house sewer lines went. They didn't care when I told them one end of the house plumbing drained fine but the other doesn't. All they cared about was telling me that their snake camera hit something and for a $1000 they would use that tank truck in my driveway to flush it out. Then when I said that that was not going to happen, the first guy shoves a tablet in my face about financing for 3.5 times that already crazy estimate. It was at this point that I asked them to leave.

For a free estimate, this wound up feeling like such a high-pressure con job. They arrive with the equipment to flush the line before they have any idea what the problem is? And I am not even sure they had a clue as to what the true problem even was; I never saw video from the camera in the drain. Plus they were unimaginably unprofessional. Why would I believe them at all regarding anything? And $1000 dollars to flush out a clog of indeterminate size!? It could have been four inches of toilet paper.

The day after I sent them packing I get an unsolicited phone call from some manager at Mr Rooter who apparently reviewed their insane write-up and estimate. He wanted to apologize for the obviously inflated quote that they tried to pull over on me because he started offering discounts and coupons.

But the damage is done. I have absolutely no reason to trust anything in the slightest that comes from any representative of this company at this point.

Chris Plumbing Service Plumbing Service
I am 74 with special child 48, my experience with Chris Plumbing was Unprofessional and Chris DID NOT do any work, yet led me to believe he fixed my problem. 11-7-16 I called Chris Plumbing about water ring around toilet, Chris said he had a job shortly but could stop and give me a free estimate.  Came in flip flops, and shorts, no paperwork,I took him to son's upstairs bathroom, Chris jumped up and down said I needed new floor wood rot. I told him I did not need a new floor as I had a new wood floor, toilet, sink, painted in less that two years ago, then Chris said he would take the toilet off and check everything out.

Came downstairs in 5 minutes said plumbing fine everything ok but had time to fix it. Went to truck came back with no tool box went up stairs.

Came down in 10 minutes said it would be $100.00, asked if I could take the discount listed on his ad, Chris said he already did that it was $100.00.

My son's caregiver was up stairs the first five minutes, came down went to the basement to get laundry, when Jim came up I was writing the check for Chris thinking Chris did work. I walked to the truck with Chris as he did not give me an invoice and I thought he would write me one, Chris reached into his truck and gave me his business card, no last name, no address, picture of a women and two kids, could hardly read phone #. Chris said he had been listed with Westland Messenger for years and if he get one complaint they will drop his ad, no need to worry gave 30 day warranty which I noted on the check.

Two days later On 7-9-16 I went up stairs to see if my son made his bed. There was water all over the bathroom floor, being by myself I put towels all over the floor. Went down stairs and looked up Chris Plumbing on my iPad. There was a review on Chris Plumbing back in 2011 almost the same as what happened to me, they said Chris said he would come three times to check out his problem and never came, with that I called another Plummer.

They  came right away, Had to snake line, said bad blockage way down, they did fix my problem. If Chris did anything Chris would have found the blockage as well. They charged $114.00 but did do the work. I called Chris and told him I wanted my money back, he said he did not trust me, I hung up.

Sent Chris Plumbing in Galloway a CERTIFIED LETTER asking for my $100.00 they would not sign for the letter. I reported this to Westland Messinger and the BBB.

I feel Chris Scamed me when I told him I did not need a new floor, to take advantage of a 74 year old lady when all he would have had to do was snake the line blockage.

I tell my story so others may not be taken in 15 minutes, I feel like a fool, my son's caregiver told me he could not have done anything in such a short time, said people like this should be stopped. That is why I wrote this, it is the principle of thing, shame on you Chris.

K & D Plumbing Plumbing Service
DO NOT PUNISH YOURSELF BY HIRING K&D PLUMBERS.  There are far too many honest, reliable, competent, and hard working plumbers for you to waste your money on this crew.

If you want to feel like a second class citizen, use K&D Plumbing.  David and team were hired to do several plumbing jobs on my house addition.  David's communication with me and my general contractor was horrible and virtually nonexistent.  David would regularly not return calls / messages and failed to follow through on several critical items (i.e., permit coordination) that caused significant delays in the project.  His failure to talk to the paying customer and follow through on promises also caused delays throughout the project.  To cap it all off, David sent one of his plumbers to change out a natural gas feed line to a fireplace.  His plumber had installed it previously, but his work FAILED the City's inspection.  David regularly pulled his plumber from scheduled dates to fix this poor work.  Upon completion of this last bit of work, David overcharged me by $95 for an hour of labor that his plumber did not work.  He agreed to me not having to pay for the 1 hour his employee did not work on my job, but he never sent an adjusted invoice.  In the flurry of paying several trades for their services on my home, I mistakenly overpaid David the $95 for the 1 hour not really worked.  I contacted him quickly to notify him of the error, but he had already cashed my check.  I requested a refund for that overage.  He told me that he 'deserved' the extra money and refused to refund it.  Eventually, he agreed to send me a $95 check.  Well, that date came and went without me receiving a check or hearing a word from David.  After a couple weeks, I again attempted to contact David to inquire about the money and refund.  He told me that he has no intention of returning my money and that it was my problem since I wrote the check.  There is a term for someone who makes promises and does not keep his word.  There is also a term for someone who takes things, in this case nearly $100, that is not rightfully theirs.

T & R Plumbing Plumbing Service
I give them a poor rating related to communication, professionalism, and my overall experience with them, but let me explain. T & R was assigned to me by my home warranty company for a plumbing issue I was having. I called my home warranty company on a sunday evening and placed a claim with the automated system. I had done this before with a different household issue and everything went smoothly, so I had no reason to think twice about doing it again. T & R never contacted me as a contractor had in the past. I waited until later in the day on the following day, Monday, and then called my home warranty company to report that I had never been contacted. At this time, my warranty company got in contact with T & R and I was given an appointment window for the following day, Tuesday from 9am-1pm. After 1pm when T & R never showed up, I called my home warranty company again. They contacted T & R who stated that a man had called them and reported that our issue had been resolved and that we no longer needed a plumber. I am the homeowner, a female, and while I do have a roommate, she is also female and doesn't deal with homeowner issues and we definitely still needed a plumber. I'm not sure if they had another invoice with a similar address and they canceled ours by mistake or what the issue was, but I did not cancel my appointment and no random man did so on behalf. I tried calling the company (which as far as I can tell is just this guy, Rocky, with a cell phone) and got no answer. I called my warranty company back and was told since it was directly before the holidays, there were a limited number of companies that could provide service on such short notice and that due to the previous conflict, T & R refused to make another appointment to provide service to me. After a whole extra debacle with my warranty company, eventually I had another appointment with T&R for Wednesday between 1pm and 5pm. Again, T & R did not show and did not call to let me know he wasn't coming. I called him and he told me he was running behind and he said he could come but that it would be closer to 8pm. At 8pm he still didn't show up. He stated he was running behind and that he would be able to see us the next day, Christmas Eve, at 9 or 10am. At 10am he did not arrive, and I called him again several times, and he replied with a text message Sorry, busy, call back later. About 10:20 he did return my call and stated that he was not able to answer the phone because he was on the line with my warranty company. He said he would be arriving in about a half hour or 45 mins. An hour later he did arrive. He stood looking at a pipe outside and gave me several reasons why he couldn't fix our problem before even attempting to fix it, stated that it was an issue my HOA would have to resolve because all of the lines to the sewage are all connected, that his lines would not be long enough, etc... I am not a plumber, obviously, but no one else had report an issue in the HOA or had plumbers at their home, so NO, this was not an issue for the HOA. Eventually he did run a line down the pipe outside and pulled out what was creating the problem. The night before he came out we noticed water damage on the ceiling in our living room, directly below the bathroom. I showed it to him, sure that since I had not had plumbing issues up until this point, that the house being backed up had created this problem and he guaranteed me that this was a separate issue and that I would have to call my warranty company back and create a separate claim. Again, I am not a plumber, but it seems like 2 separate plumbing issues at the same time is highly unlikely. So to recap, I spent 5 days unable to shower, use as sink, do dishes, or wash laundry waiting on this guy to keep his appointment or at least communicate that he wasn't able to do so. It was not like it was just a clogged toilet, I was having to go to my gym to shower to get ready for work. If I had a regular 9-5 job I would have missed 3 days of work waiting for this company to do what they said they were going to do. To top everything off, when I went to pay, conveniently, his credit card machine was broken until the 7th of January, so I had to write a check, which was extremely inconvenient, as most people use credit cards for just such emergencies when they experience an unexpected problem like this. I called that day and placed another claim with my warranty company to have the leak that is damaging the ceiling looked at and I even gave the benefit of the doubt, since it was a holiday and a weekend and I had some traveling to do myself, and today is wednesday, almost a week later, and I contacted my warranty company to see why a contractor had never contacted me and what do you know, it was supposed to have been T & R. I demanded a different company be assigned to me. I would not do business with this company (and I am being generous with that term) again.
