Joe repaired our leaking jacuzzi. It took quite a bit of detection to locate the problem but Joe never gave up. He installed a new toilet as well. I will always call W &W Plumbing for any future problem I have.

I have been using Drain Openers for more than 10 years now. They are wonderful!!! They are always prompt getting to the job, very courteous and their pricing is always fair. The quality of work is superb and I have recommended them to many others over years with no complaints from anyone. Dave and Tina Swisher are the owners and the two men that usually do work for me are Jeremiah and Mike. You can't go wrong with this company!!

Tony was fantastic! Same day service on my sump pump, and very reasonable. The communication via e-mail, phone and text was the best I have ever experienced with any contractor. Top notch.

UPDATE: Upon double checking, we found no such communication at all with Jeremy as he describes in his response. We had no idea he had decided he couldn't do anything; he didn't email or text or call with any such communication. As far as we knew, he had not made any decision and needed more information--and hence his initial commitment to us to come back out.
Jeremy originally came out on March 4. His initial take on the situation was that this is typical for this area and I've never had one beat me yet. So his sudden Yelp response of I decided it can't be done is, in my opinion, a rather questionable last-minute excuse made after he's been called out for lack of communication.
Anyway. Like I said, in our initial meeting on March 4 he had committed to us to come back out in the next week or two to do detailed site measurements but didn't follow up on that for quite some time, and didn't communicate anything for several weeks despite my wife calling his office (March 21) and emailing him. I finally emailed him on April 1 to ask, Are you still interested in looking more closely at my back yard situation? If not, just let me know. Otherwise, please let me know when you plan to be by to assess the situation.
To Jeremy's credit, he responded in 6 minutes via email. But, his explanation had NOTHING to do with inclement weather delays; instead he talked about some personal medical issues. Unfortunately, I accepted those at face value. And now when confronted with the facts he says the delay was due to inclement weather?
In that same email communication he committed to coming out that same week on Friday, April 5, which I again took at face value.
And that was the absolute LAST we ever heard from Jeremy--that is, until moments after my initial Yelp review went up at 11pm. Now his story is I came out April 5 and decided it couldn't be done. If he came out, he did not specifically schedule a time to meet with us that day. Nor did he let us know afterward that he had been there, or made any decision about whether or not to do the job. I might add that my wife is home all day, and most certainly would have seen Jeremy making any detailed site measurements as he originally described--and yet she saw no such detailed or extensive activity, nor did she see any indications of any such activity.
Further, at no point did my wife deal with Jeremy over text messages. It was all email and voice. And at no point did my wife receive any text from Jeremy such as he describes. Yes, I would be very interested in seeing said screenshots of any texts. Jeremy, you have MY email; please send the screenshots. And if you had already concluded that you could not make it work properly, then what additional options did you possibly have to offer?
I also find it interesting that if Jeremy thought he had texted us once and never heard back, that he never bothered to follow up with even a second communication, maybe a phone call or email (and we do know that he had our correct email addresses).
It appears that not only did Jeremy make some terrible choices in how he did business with us, but he continues those choices by trying to defend himself on Yelp by apparently not being truthful about how he handled things. Like I said, I'm OK with being told sorry, I can't help you. What I'm not OK with is complete lack of communication, made worse by his stated defense of I told you I couldn't do it which simply isn't true. Had Jeremy told us that, we wouldn't be here on Yelp today.
Also, I find it interesting that his response to me is virtually the same as his response below to Henk D.
Buyer beware.

We have used the same plumber in Reynoldsburg for 30 years. This year, I decided to try a new company despite not having problems with my regular plumbers. A clerical mix-up on the correct arrival time caused a minor delay but no tragedy.
The plumber arrived in very good spirits & with very good customer relations began to diagnose the plumbing issue. After promptly solving one issue he began work on a secondary issue to replace a bathroom sink elbow pipe. Problem was, he had no correct parts on his truck. Issue #2 will be skipped. We were disappointed the proper part weren't loaded on a plumbers truck but again, no tragedy.
Rates are competitive for the industry. The plumber to customer attentiveness, and verbal skills were well above average. No creepy weird guy shows up with plumbers butt, just a professional well spoken business man. Kudos guys!

Unresponsive to repeated calls to find a simple part (sweeps) to shower doors that we purchased through them
400 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223
I was out of town and my wife had them look at our drain pipes that are not properly draining. They were on site for 1 1/2 hours charged her close to $300.00 (that's about $200 per hour), and were not able to resolve the problem only identify it. She was not told of their charge until after they completed their investigation.I don't understand why it took that long or why the hourly rate was so high.
By comparison we had another company look at the pipes using similar equipment and the estimate was free.
I would rate thematic 0 stars if that option was available. Only advice I would give is that you should make sure you understand their fees before using their services. Very disappointed.

I left six messages and they don't return calls anymore. They have always been prompt and given great service in the past seven years. Over six weeks ago one of the owners named ( Chris) came out to the house to evaluate a new shit off valve for the main water. He advised me to contact Marysville Water company to make sure it isn't a lead pipe going into the water line. I got back to them and advised them it was copper. Marysville water company came out again last week and checked it out and said it will just require a new elbow and a ball valve for shut-off. If Foust doesn't want to do the little job , I would like them to call me and just ach knowledge me. Six messages is unacceptable. I will go with another plumbing company.

Our home warranty called The Service People to replace a water heater that was leaking.
Tony did a wonderful job, and even cleaned up before leaving.
I would give them 5 stars, except for the $175 permit fee that was charged, when the permit fee in Pickerington is only $60. I understand adding a little bit to the permit fee as an administrative costs but near 3 times the fee is outrageous.
When I called the office administrator about it, she said it was decided by the technician, when I asked Tony about it, he said it was decided by the office, leaving messages for an explanation of the difference resulted in no-one responding. Finally I asked the home warranty company to find out for me, and they got a similar vague answer.
Conclusion, they will do an awesome job for you, BUT if there are any permits needed, take a minute to call your municipal/city office beforehand so they can't pull a quick one on you.

We called Baumann Plumbing with a clogged drain issue we couldn't fix ourselves. I gave them a call late in the day and they said someone would be out the next morning by 8:30 am. Very quick turnaround compared to other companies I called. Sure enough... Gary showed up to help resolve the issue. He was very professional, friendly, and fixed our problem in under an hour. Baumann will now ALWAYS be our first call when we need a plumber. A big thank you to Gary for excellent service and a quick fix at a reasonable price!

Huh. Thought sure I had reviewed them before?
This is my 4th time using this company, so you can tell it isn't as bad as some of the reviews seem to indicate. They do their job. They seem to do it well. Clean up after themselves and sometimes do more than initially requested. On time.
Chad (today's representative) is personable and courteous. Did what was needed in about 45 minutes. And for a plumbing company, I feel fairly priced.

I am 74 with special child 48, my experience with Chris Plumbing was Unprofessional and Chris DID NOT do any work, yet led me to believe he fixed my problem. 11-7-16 I called Chris Plumbing about water ring around toilet, Chris said he had a job shortly but could stop and give me a free estimate. Came in flip flops, and shorts, no paperwork,I took him to son's upstairs bathroom, Chris jumped up and down said I needed new floor wood rot. I told him I did not need a new floor as I had a new wood floor, toilet, sink, painted in less that two years ago, then Chris said he would take the toilet off and check everything out.
Came downstairs in 5 minutes said plumbing fine everything ok but had time to fix it. Went to truck came back with no tool box went up stairs.
Came down in 10 minutes said it would be $100.00, asked if I could take the discount listed on his ad, Chris said he already did that it was $100.00.
My son's caregiver was up stairs the first five minutes, came down went to the basement to get laundry, when Jim came up I was writing the check for Chris thinking Chris did work. I walked to the truck with Chris as he did not give me an invoice and I thought he would write me one, Chris reached into his truck and gave me his business card, no last name, no address, picture of a women and two kids, could hardly read phone #. Chris said he had been listed with Westland Messenger for years and if he get one complaint they will drop his ad, no need to worry gave 30 day warranty which I noted on the check.
Two days later On 7-9-16 I went up stairs to see if my son made his bed. There was water all over the bathroom floor, being by myself I put towels all over the floor. Went down stairs and looked up Chris Plumbing on my iPad. There was a review on Chris Plumbing back in 2011 almost the same as what happened to me, they said Chris said he would come three times to check out his problem and never came, with that I called another Plummer.
They came right away, Had to snake line, said bad blockage way down, they did fix my problem. If Chris did anything Chris would have found the blockage as well. They charged $114.00 but did do the work. I called Chris and told him I wanted my money back, he said he did not trust me, I hung up.
Sent Chris Plumbing in Galloway a CERTIFIED LETTER asking for my $100.00 they would not sign for the letter. I reported this to Westland Messinger and the BBB.
I feel Chris Scamed me when I told him I did not need a new floor, to take advantage of a 74 year old lady when all he would have had to do was snake the line blockage.
I tell my story so others may not be taken in 15 minutes, I feel like a fool, my son's caregiver told me he could not have done anything in such a short time, said people like this should be stopped. That is why I wrote this, it is the principle of thing, shame on you Chris.

DO NOT PUNISH YOURSELF BY HIRING K&D PLUMBERS. There are far too many honest, reliable, competent, and hard working plumbers for you to waste your money on this crew.
If you want to feel like a second class citizen, use K&D Plumbing. David and team were hired to do several plumbing jobs on my house addition. David's communication with me and my general contractor was horrible and virtually nonexistent. David would regularly not return calls / messages and failed to follow through on several critical items (i.e., permit coordination) that caused significant delays in the project. His failure to talk to the paying customer and follow through on promises also caused delays throughout the project. To cap it all off, David sent one of his plumbers to change out a natural gas feed line to a fireplace. His plumber had installed it previously, but his work FAILED the City's inspection. David regularly pulled his plumber from scheduled dates to fix this poor work. Upon completion of this last bit of work, David overcharged me by $95 for an hour of labor that his plumber did not work. He agreed to me not having to pay for the 1 hour his employee did not work on my job, but he never sent an adjusted invoice. In the flurry of paying several trades for their services on my home, I mistakenly overpaid David the $95 for the 1 hour not really worked. I contacted him quickly to notify him of the error, but he had already cashed my check. I requested a refund for that overage. He told me that he 'deserved' the extra money and refused to refund it. Eventually, he agreed to send me a $95 check. Well, that date came and went without me receiving a check or hearing a word from David. After a couple weeks, I again attempted to contact David to inquire about the money and refund. He told me that he has no intention of returning my money and that it was my problem since I wrote the check. There is a term for someone who makes promises and does not keep his word. There is also a term for someone who takes things, in this case nearly $100, that is not rightfully theirs.

I give them a poor rating related to communication, professionalism, and my overall experience with them, but let me explain. T & R was assigned to me by my home warranty company for a plumbing issue I was having. I called my home warranty company on a sunday evening and placed a claim with the automated system. I had done this before with a different household issue and everything went smoothly, so I had no reason to think twice about doing it again. T & R never contacted me as a contractor had in the past. I waited until later in the day on the following day, Monday, and then called my home warranty company to report that I had never been contacted. At this time, my warranty company got in contact with T & R and I was given an appointment window for the following day, Tuesday from 9am-1pm. After 1pm when T & R never showed up, I called my home warranty company again. They contacted T & R who stated that a man had called them and reported that our issue had been resolved and that we no longer needed a plumber. I am the homeowner, a female, and while I do have a roommate, she is also female and doesn't deal with homeowner issues and we definitely still needed a plumber. I'm not sure if they had another invoice with a similar address and they canceled ours by mistake or what the issue was, but I did not cancel my appointment and no random man did so on behalf. I tried calling the company (which as far as I can tell is just this guy, Rocky, with a cell phone) and got no answer. I called my warranty company back and was told since it was directly before the holidays, there were a limited number of companies that could provide service on such short notice and that due to the previous conflict, T & R refused to make another appointment to provide service to me. After a whole extra debacle with my warranty company, eventually I had another appointment with T&R for Wednesday between 1pm and 5pm. Again, T & R did not show and did not call to let me know he wasn't coming. I called him and he told me he was running behind and he said he could come but that it would be closer to 8pm. At 8pm he still didn't show up. He stated he was running behind and that he would be able to see us the next day, Christmas Eve, at 9 or 10am. At 10am he did not arrive, and I called him again several times, and he replied with a text message Sorry, busy, call back later. About 10:20 he did return my call and stated that he was not able to answer the phone because he was on the line with my warranty company. He said he would be arriving in about a half hour or 45 mins. An hour later he did arrive. He stood looking at a pipe outside and gave me several reasons why he couldn't fix our problem before even attempting to fix it, stated that it was an issue my HOA would have to resolve because all of the lines to the sewage are all connected, that his lines would not be long enough, etc... I am not a plumber, obviously, but no one else had report an issue in the HOA or had plumbers at their home, so NO, this was not an issue for the HOA. Eventually he did run a line down the pipe outside and pulled out what was creating the problem. The night before he came out we noticed water damage on the ceiling in our living room, directly below the bathroom. I showed it to him, sure that since I had not had plumbing issues up until this point, that the house being backed up had created this problem and he guaranteed me that this was a separate issue and that I would have to call my warranty company back and create a separate claim. Again, I am not a plumber, but it seems like 2 separate plumbing issues at the same time is highly unlikely. So to recap, I spent 5 days unable to shower, use as sink, do dishes, or wash laundry waiting on this guy to keep his appointment or at least communicate that he wasn't able to do so. It was not like it was just a clogged toilet, I was having to go to my gym to shower to get ready for work. If I had a regular 9-5 job I would have missed 3 days of work waiting for this company to do what they said they were going to do. To top everything off, when I went to pay, conveniently, his credit card machine was broken until the 7th of January, so I had to write a check, which was extremely inconvenient, as most people use credit cards for just such emergencies when they experience an unexpected problem like this. I called that day and placed another claim with my warranty company to have the leak that is damaging the ceiling looked at and I even gave the benefit of the doubt, since it was a holiday and a weekend and I had some traveling to do myself, and today is wednesday, almost a week later, and I contacted my warranty company to see why a contractor had never contacted me and what do you know, it was supposed to have been T & R. I demanded a different company be assigned to me. I would not do business with this company (and I am being generous with that term) again.
