I highly recommend Bradley Electric!  They came out to do an estimate to replace a circuit panel and bring wiring in our very old house up to code.  The estimate only took 10-15 minutes they and sent a detailed estimate quickly (I think it was the next day). Their estimate was slightly higher than some of the other electricians we contacted but I was really impressed with their customer service and decided to give them the business.  The techs who did our work arrived on time and finished a 7 hour job 30 minutes ahead of schedule. They were friendly, efficient, and overall did a great job!  I wouldn't hesitate to give them additional business if needed in the future.

Walaid tried to help with my issue over the phone, and via FaceTime before he came out and had to charge me. He was very prompt & professional. He took his time and found the root of my issue, and checked several different ways before he finally gave me a direct answer. If your looking for a good dependable electrician he's your go to..

These guys saved me a ton of money a after a competitor tried to tell me I needed a whole new circuit board to pass inspection.  They were quick to quote, got me scheduled in the time frame I needed, and did great work.  What more could you want?

I've been super impressed in my experience with Big City Electric, who came out to fix some outlets that weren't working in our home.

The technician was an hour late, but he called to let us know this and once he arrived he quickly completed the job as requested. While he was here, he also re-wired a few light switches and did it as quickly as he could to keep the hours we would be billed at a minimum.

A few days later, we noticed a few other outlets in close proximity to where the tech had been working on re-wiring weren't working. I assumed maybe the previous tech had done something wrong and called back and a week later another tech came out to take a look at the issue.

Turns out it was some glow in the dark light covers my parents had installed on a few of our outlets had burned out and were creating issues with the outlets that weren't working.

This second tech was incredibly personable and friendly and took the covers off without charging us for anything.

This is EXACTLY how good business is done and you'd be foolish to use anyone other than Big City Electric for your electrical needs. They've earned my business for life.

Power to one room had gone out. Checked the breaker in advance to make sure that was not it. Called Strickland. Nate responded within the hour and was able to get us in for same day service. Professional all the way. Was able to locate problem in an outlet that had gone bad. Really happy with the service

Damon was so nice to come out on a holiday and replace an outlet that was damaged.  Super professional and knowledgeable.  He was able to come out the same day- you can't ask for any better response time.  Such a great person to work with.  We look forward to getting more electrical projects handled by Damon in the future!  Damon, we cannot thank you enough!!!!

What an exceptional business to work with!! From the first moment I looked up Higher Power Electric, they were so easy to work with the schedule an initial consultation within the week. John was very honest and open with his advise for how to upgrade our outdoor business lighting so that it was most effective, and he even took a drawing of our building plan so that he could provide a detailed proposal for our lighting. I want to say a big thank you to Lyle, Eric, and Jim who performed our installation -- they walked me through everything and answered any and all questions I had. Thank you also to Patrick and Vickie for being so pleasant and helpful!! Our business has a hectic schedule, and they did everything they could to accommodate us, for which I am eternally grateful. We have used James for a couple of projects.  Once for a bath remodel and we had him back recently to do some misc electrical repairs and rewiring around the house.  He provides great service!  Shows up when scheduled and his work is excellent.  Will have him back in the near future for a couple more projects.

Glen installed 2 new porch lights I had purchased from Lowe's. They look and work great!

Immediately came out and fixed our issue. Very professional, helpful, and nice guy! Would highly recommend him.

Gerry is very knowledgeable, honest, and does not waist time so he can charge you more. We called him with a restaurant hood problem he came and got it fixed for a very reasonable price. He checked another fridge that was not working and got it fixed within 20 minutes for $80 and its now been a month and fridge still works. Another company had said compressor was out and they needed $1500. Every time we call Gerry he has a solution at a reasonable price will use him again an again.

I don't recommend this company, the electrician doesn't take notes and then provides a quote which does not match the request.  

I am very disappointed with this company.  They got there $$$$ for the quote. It is best to avoid this company.

At your service gave me a great deal on a new furnace and AC unit. After I've had multiple repairs on both systems by a different company.
I also had Mr. Jones (the owner) install a new hot water tank in my house. Excellent service, timely manner, quality work!

Use caution and get a second opinion when dealing with this business!

I contacted Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna get an estimate to have a 10 square foot bathroom shower floor retiled. I was asked to send in a picture of the floor, which I did. Much to my shock, the estimate came back as a three-day job for $6,000 - $7,000!!!! I was told that they'd have to tear up the shower step-in, the tub underneath the tile and the subfloor. I said that I only wanted to have the tile redone and their response was that it was the same price as they were planning on having to rip out the subfloor (and all this from a picture!). I asked if they charged $1,500/hour and was told that they don't charge by the hour, they charge by the job.

I just had a professional tiler look at the shower floor, and he estimated the job at $250. Quite a difference! Just to be sure I was comparing apples to apples, I asked him about the tub underneath the tile as well as the subfloor. He said that there was no need to touch any of that and went on to say that there's a special glue that can be used to overlay the new tile on top of the old tile. The gentleman I am now dealing with has been a tile installer for 30+ years and comes highly recommended by several people I know. Care to guess who I'll be going with?

My entire exchange with Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna was done via texting, so I have a written copy of it all. I'm not sure what would possess someone to quote a job that is 2,400% - 2,800% higher than normal, but it only takes a couple of uninformed customers to make these ludicrous prices pay off.
