It went well and they were very responsive. They are a professional company with the owner being well informed of all projects and keeping things moving smoothly. Had a few cliches but it all worked out and I have continued to use them and will do so again and again.

Walid was helpful, responsive, reasonably priced and did a good job. I would recommend calling him for an electrical problem.

These guys saved me a ton of money a after a competitor tried to tell me I needed a whole new circuit board to pass inspection.  They were quick to quote, got me scheduled in the time frame I needed, and did great work.  What more could you want?

I was in need of an electric panel upgrade, I contacted Big City Electric and a few other electric companies. Big City was the most reasonable. They didnt try to upsale me like the other companies. I was explained in detail what my best options were. Chris was on time and did a wonderful job installing the upgrade! Will use them for all my electrical needs.

Power to one room had gone out. Checked the breaker in advance to make sure that was not it. Called Strickland. Nate responded within the hour and was able to get us in for same day service. Professional all the way. Was able to locate problem in an outlet that had gone bad. Really happy with the service

Soooooo bad. Mistake after mistake. Left junction boxes in my ceiling, didn't demo everything, they leave everything dirty, they don't finish the job and come back over and over but schedule you out several weeks before they come back. On their finish after everything had been drywalled they realized two outlets and a switch do not work. Six months later the job is still not done. It has been a nightmare working with them.  We bought a fixer upper and there is a 0% chance they are doing any additional work anywhere on my property haha.

What an exceptional business to work with!! From the first moment I looked up Higher Power Electric, they were so easy to work with the schedule an initial consultation within the week. John was very honest and open with his advise for how to upgrade our outdoor business lighting so that it was most effective, and he even took a drawing of our building plan so that he could provide a detailed proposal for our lighting. I want to say a big thank you to Lyle, Eric, and Jim who performed our installation -- they walked me through everything and answered any and all questions I had. Thank you also to Patrick and Vickie for being so pleasant and helpful!! Our business has a hectic schedule, and they did everything they could to accommodate us, for which I am eternally grateful. Just wanted to say how pleased we were with this company. We try to use local businesses for services and we definitely were impressed with this family owned business. They responded quickly and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Very pleased.

The appointment was on schedule and he was wearing a mask and super friendly. I have already recommend this company to two friends. He was sufficient and cleaned up after himself, he did a fantastic job!! Needed something else to be done and Riley's is doing that too, GREAT company and very professional.

Very poor customer service. They lied about pricing to get into my home then charged me for services they just didn't provide. I would never let anyone from this horrible business into my home.

Technician showed up when promised to give me a quote to replace 3 existing light Fixtures. The quoted price was way too high. I had to look elsewhere and got the same work, plus some, for about 1/3 of the price.

At your service gave me a great deal on a new furnace and AC unit. After I've had multiple repairs on both systems by a different company.
I also had Mr. Jones (the owner) install a new hot water tank in my house. Excellent service, timely manner, quality work!
Highly recommended.

Let me start by saying this was contractor #7 I contacted to do this job.  The other 6 stalled somewhere between showing up to give an estimate - all the way to pulling a no show when the quote was accepted and the job was scheduled.  Needless to say, I was pleased when someone finally showed up to do the work.

I was able to schedule the job within several business days of contacting them.  They charge an hourly rate - and I opted to provide materials.  I needed a water damaged spot in the sub-floor in the master bathroom repaired - which then required the flooring to be replaced.  Of course, all the linoleum had to be removed and the toilet taken out.  No small job, despite the small spot damaged.  But the work was mandatory as we are working to sell the house this year.

I dealt with one person and he was quite pleasant.  Communication was good with the company - reminder, notice of who was coming, etc.  The worker went about his business with little bother to me.  He only let me know when he was going to pick up materials and asked my input about the replacement tiles.

The one thing that disappointed me - he didn't go to the most convenient store - so he got stuck in traffic which cost him time and ME MONEY.  I should have been more specific but since I mentioned the name of closest place and he went elsewhere - I thought I had conveyed the information.  WRONG.  Lesson learned.

The delay in traffic kept him from doing another small job I needed done.  But at that point, I wanted to stop paying his hourly fee and called it quits when the job was finished.

He did a nice job of cleaning up and removing his waste materials.  I would use him again for a job that warranted their pricing scale.  I will either do the smaller job myself or find someone who will fix it for a fee.  Recommend if you're done being stood up by all the other contractors but you will pay for the work.  Definitely not a cheap proposition.  And I recommend you buy the materials yourself.
