I am so embarrassed to admit this, but I booked Bradley Electric for an appraisal for a job, ended up not needing them, and then forgot to cancel (terrible, right?!). The nice electric man came to my house on time, waited for me and then politely called to tell me he was at my house. Of course I was embarrassed and also completely panicked because I was not even home. After apologizing profusely, I offered to pay for the appraisal and for his time. The serviceman declined and just simply said, I hope that you will use us next time. Seriously?! Who does that?! Most people would have said some rather ugly things to me for wasting their time and then would have quickly jumped on the chance to make a buck off me. While writing this reviewer , I realize I didn't actually end up using their services, but I can tell you that these guys are honest, kind and they are the kind of people you want to work with.

Walaid tried to help with my issue over the phone, and via FaceTime before he came out and had to charge me. He was very prompt & professional. He took his time and found the root of my issue, and checked several different ways before he finally gave me a direct answer. If your looking for a good dependable electrician he's your go to..

These guys saved me a ton of money a after a competitor tried to tell me I needed a whole new circuit board to pass inspection.  They were quick to quote, got me scheduled in the time frame I needed, and did great work.  What more could you want?

I reached out to this firm based on the quality and number of online reviews.   I received a response from the owner within 24 hours and quickly scheduled an appointment thereafter.   The owner appears to be proficient with technology.  

Two service technicians, Christian and Mike, were at my house today.   They were exceedingly professional and friendly.   The repair was completed efficiently and the overall charge was reasonable for electrical work.   The fact that they had the necessary part on their truck and did not need to make a second visit was another plus.

My first experience with Big City Electric was quite positive; should I need an electrician in the future, I would happily use this firm again.

Power to one room had gone out. Checked the breaker in advance to make sure that was not it. Called Strickland. Nate responded within the hour and was able to get us in for same day service. Professional all the way. Was able to locate problem in an outlet that had gone bad. Really happy with the service

I called and got immediate service to a live wire in my home. Damon was friendly and efficient. His  fee was more than reasonable and I will definitely be calling him again.

Competent and responsive, I've used Quality Electric for both jobs at my house that required an electrician. They updated all 2-prong outlets to 3, installed a couple of ceiling fans, a dining room light, and got all the plugs in my kitchen up to code ready for new appliance installation.

I've made so many phone calls to local contractors, and this company beats them all with customer satisfaction, by far. Realistic estimates, great work, and they show up when they say they will!

After being very satisfied with previous electrical work by Ed at Safe Electric, we contacted them again regarding the installation of a 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug in our garage (typically known as an electric dryer plug). We also requested they install an RV electrical box, just like the ones at the campgrounds for our RV that is parked on the side of the garage and to accommodate any RV visitors. Ed provided an estimate and also recommended the installation of a surge protector since our detached garage's electrical comes from buried electrical lines from our home's basement some distance away. The only other surge protector is on the opposite side of the house (at another basement panel). Recently, Ed and Kyle came out, crawled around in the garage's attic space, fished wire through the walls, etc, etc. The installation is VERY clean and professional. We now have the 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug inside the garage between two of the parking spots so it can be used from either spot (wiring is ALL inside the wall). We have a full RV box on the side of the garage. It has a 30 amp/120 volt regular plug, just like the ones in the house, another 30 amp/240 volt dryer plug for small or medium size RV's (or, for an electric vehicle that won't fit in the garage) and the 50 amp/240 volt plug for the BIG RV visitors. Finally, Ed and Kyle added a surge protector in the garage wall, just below the electrical panel. GREAT JOB, Ed and Kyle! Thank you! Looks great and we are already using some of the plugs! Great guys. Had my plumbing issue fixed in no time and at a great price. I'll definitely use them in the future.

Had home inspection done and had some exposed wires from old disconnected lines showing around the electric panel.  Called Higher Power and they were quick to come out and clean it up a few days later.  Looks good now.

I contacted Jim to install two ceiling fans. He was able to install them on a Saturday morning and was done within 4 hours. Jim was very professional and efficient. I will definitely hire him again for any electrical issue. I would give 10 stars if that was an option. Highly recommended!!

Glen installed 2 new porch lights I had purchased from Lowe's. They look and work great!

Just wanted to say how pleased we were with this company. We try to use local businesses for services and we definitely were impressed with this family owned business. They responded quickly and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Very pleased.

Quite possibly the nicest people I have ever met.  Our heat went out on Wednesday and we made the mistake of calling another repairman first.  After waiting a few days for a response we finally called Riley Electrical Services.  We only wish we would have called them first. They were at our house within an hour of our call and set to work fixing the mistakes that the other repairman made.  We ended up needing a new furnace and they helped us make a decision that we felt comfortable with, that also didn't break our bank. While we were waiting for our replacement furnace we were called twice in the morning just so he could check up on how we were holding up with no heat.  He came today and installed our furnace and we couldn't be happier. If you need any work done, don't call anyone else (trust us!) call Riley Electrical Services, you won't be disappointed!

He came on time, fixed all problems quickly and effectively, and was very nice. Will definitely use again!

Horrible experience and I do not recommend. I received a call from their dispatch over an hour after appointment time to tell me they have to reschedule. I requested and received a quote for installation of a a new 200 amp electrical box. They tried to install a 150 amp box and when I called this out I was given push back from tech. After I insisted they install what was quoted or I would take my business elsewhere, they began the work. A supervisor showed up halfway through the installation and while on site he had a heated phone call with a coworker that included fowl language in earshot of my 12 year old niece and 80 year old mother. I also had an exterior light installed and they gave more pushback when I requested where I wanted the switch placed. They left a mess inside my home that included cigarette butts on my floor. After installation I was told an inspection with the city was scheduled for a specific date. When I called  the day before to confirm, they said it had not been scheduled. I missed several days of work because of their incompetence. I have nothing good to say about Mr Electric and do not recommended their services under any circumstance. I have several more upcoming electrical jobs and will take by business elsewhere.

Our kitchen ceiling light had a short in the unit. 'At Your Service Heating, Cooling, & Home Repairs' came to our rescue.  After a referral from a friend and one telephone call, Mr. Robert Jones (sole proprietor), showed up ,on time,  and did wonderful  job replacing our ceiling light fixture.
Mr. Jones was very friendly and because of his professional work ethic, I will have him come to my home again, if I find myself in need of a competent  contractor.

Use caution and get a second opinion when dealing with this business!

I contacted Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna get an estimate to have a 10 square foot bathroom shower floor retiled. I was asked to send in a picture of the floor, which I did. Much to my shock, the estimate came back as a three-day job for $6,000 - $7,000!!!! I was told that they'd have to tear up the shower step-in, the tub underneath the tile and the subfloor. I said that I only wanted to have the tile redone and their response was that it was the same price as they were planning on having to rip out the subfloor (and all this from a picture!). I asked if they charged $1,500/hour and was told that they don't charge by the hour, they charge by the job.

I just had a professional tiler look at the shower floor, and he estimated the job at $250. Quite a difference! Just to be sure I was comparing apples to apples, I asked him about the tub underneath the tile as well as the subfloor. He said that there was no need to touch any of that and went on to say that there's a special glue that can be used to overlay the new tile on top of the old tile. The gentleman I am now dealing with has been a tile installer for 30+ years and comes highly recommended by several people I know. Care to guess who I'll be going with?

My entire exchange with Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna was done via texting, so I have a written copy of it all. I'm not sure what would possess someone to quote a job that is 2,400% - 2,800% higher than normal, but it only takes a couple of uninformed customers to make these ludicrous prices pay off.
