I needed all of my smoke detectors replaced and I wasn't sure who to call.  Someone  had recommended Bradley Electric in our community newsletter so I gave them a call.  They were here the next morning after my call and the technicians were wonderful...They were on time and my smoke detectors were installed quickly. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.  I will definitely use them for any further electrical work that I might need.

Walid was helpful, responsive, reasonably priced and did a good job. I would recommend calling him for an electrical problem.

Jess Howard sent over the best electrician to fix multiple electric issues in our new house. They were the fourth electrical company we had come to our house. Thank you to Steve and Jason for helping getting everything working again in our house. I will definitely recommend you for any electrical work!

I had several misc electrical projects I needed done around my condo. I received quotes from two different companies. The quote from Big City was less than half of the other quote I received. The owner Dave was friendly and explained exactly what they would do and how. The two electricians that completed the work, Dave G. And Christian were friendly and completed everything quickly and cleanly. They communicated the different issues they ran into and worked with me to come up with other options they would work just as well. Very good experience and I would definitely use them again.

Here's my situation:
My water heater kept going out. Couldn't figure it out. Water heater guy comes out, they replaced all the electronic components in it. Still happening. Can't figure it out - until the guy says it may be at the electrical box, which we don't do.

So I call Strickland - and I'm in no rush - it's a manual process to get the water heater on but tolerable - his response was it's getting cold, I'm not about to let you have cold water.

We set a time, he arrived, he went to work and diagnosed the problem, had it solved, and i've been happy. The change required a little more rework (yay moderately old house) and he came back and knocked that out.

Insanely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I mean, ideally, I'll never need to call them again ( - unless I replace that breaker box) but if I have any more electrical issues? They're top of my list.

I called and got immediate service to a live wire in my home. Damon was friendly and efficient. His  fee was more than reasonable and I will definitely be calling him again.

Excellent service from the minute I called to schedule appointment through job completion. I needed minor work done (replace pull-chain fixture and repair three-way switch) and was able to get an appointment within a few days. The scheduling representative provided a fair and honest price estimate. Technicians were extremely professional, clean, and quick. Highly recommend!

What an exceptional business to work with!! From the first moment I looked up Higher Power Electric, they were so easy to work with the schedule an initial consultation within the week. John was very honest and open with his advise for how to upgrade our outdoor business lighting so that it was most effective, and he even took a drawing of our building plan so that he could provide a detailed proposal for our lighting. Glen installed 2 new porch lights I had purchased from Lowe's. They look and work great!

Just wanted to say how pleased we were with this company. We try to use local businesses for services and we definitely were impressed with this family owned business. They responded quickly and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Very pleased.

The appointment was on schedule and he was wearing a mask and super friendly. I have already recommend this company to two friends. He was sufficient and cleaned up after himself, he did a fantastic job!! Needed something else to be done and Riley's is doing that too, GREAT company and very professional.

They took double charge from us and promised to give refund but didn't sent our refund back

Our kitchen ceiling light had a short in the unit. 'At Your Service Heating, Cooling, & Home Repairs' came to our rescue.  After a referral from a friend and one telephone call, Mr. Robert Jones (sole proprietor), showed up ,on time,  and did wonderful  job replacing our ceiling light fixture.
Mr. Jones was very friendly and because of his professional work ethic, I will have him come to my home again, if I find myself in need of a competent  contractor.

Use caution and get a second opinion when dealing with this business!

I contacted Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna get an estimate to have a 10 square foot bathroom shower floor retiled. I was asked to send in a picture of the floor, which I did. Much to my shock, the estimate came back as a three-day job for $6,000 - $7,000!!!! I was told that they'd have to tear up the shower step-in, the tub underneath the tile and the subfloor. I said that I only wanted to have the tile redone and their response was that it was the same price as they were planning on having to rip out the subfloor (and all this from a picture!). I asked if they charged $1,500/hour and was told that they don't charge by the hour, they charge by the job.

I just had a professional tiler look at the shower floor, and he estimated the job at $250. Quite a difference! Just to be sure I was comparing apples to apples, I asked him about the tub underneath the tile as well as the subfloor. He said that there was no need to touch any of that and went on to say that there's a special glue that can be used to overlay the new tile on top of the old tile. The gentleman I am now dealing with has been a tile installer for 30+ years and comes highly recommended by several people I know. Care to guess who I'll be going with?

My entire exchange with Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna was done via texting, so I have a written copy of it all. I'm not sure what would possess someone to quote a job that is 2,400% - 2,800% higher than normal, but it only takes a couple of uninformed customers to make these ludicrous prices pay off.
