Best Electricians in Columbus, OH

Hired Bradley Electric to wire three of my rooms for overhead lighting, install light fixtures, require switches, and install smart switches. They were professional, transparent, affordable, and efficient. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Walaid tried to help with my issue over the phone, and via FaceTime before he came out and had to charge me. He was very prompt & professional. He took his time and found the root of my issue, and checked several different ways before he finally gave me a direct answer. If your looking for a good dependable electrician he's your go to..

Our outdoor lighting was installed by the same people who designed and installed our beautiful patio... but not by electricians. It's given us problems 3 times in the last year; there have been shorts, the lights go out, never come on, or half the line works and the other half doesn't, etc. Twice, Jess Howard Electric came out and solved unique issues. Last week, they arrived and solved a 3rd issue and engaged the entire line of lighting and electric items around the pool to ensure that no other issues were on the horizon. These folks are always prompt, reliable, and communicative.

Left a message to get an estimate on a few things and they contacted me the next day. We set up an appointment for a specific day and time. I took personal time off from work, got home and sat...and sat...and sat. No phone call...nothing.

I just wish you could hold these people liable to have to pay you back for time lost at work when they stiff you like this. Unprofessional.

We needed a new double oven installed.  We called Stickland today, and they were able to come today to help!!  Installation was challenging, but we got the double oven installed!

Damon was so nice to come out on a holiday and replace an outlet that was damaged.  Super professional and knowledgeable.  He was able to come out the same day- you can't ask for any better response time.  Such a great person to work with.  We look forward to getting more electrical projects handled by Damon in the future!  Damon, we cannot thank you enough!!!!

Soooooo bad. Mistake after mistake. Left junction boxes in my ceiling, didn't demo everything, they leave everything dirty, they don't finish the job and come back over and over but schedule you out several weeks before they come back. On their finish after everything had been drywalled they realized two outlets and a switch do not work. Six months later the job is still not done. It has been a nightmare working with them.  We bought a fixer upper and there is a 0% chance they are doing any additional work anywhere on my property haha.

After being very satisfied with previous electrical work by Ed at Safe Electric, we contacted them again regarding the installation of a 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug in our garage (typically known as an electric dryer plug). We also requested they install an RV electrical box, just like the ones at the campgrounds for our RV that is parked on the side of the garage and to accommodate any RV visitors. Ed provided an estimate and also recommended the installation of a surge protector since our detached garage's electrical comes from buried electrical lines from our home's basement some distance away. The only other surge protector is on the opposite side of the house (at another basement panel). Recently, Ed and Kyle came out, crawled around in the garage's attic space, fished wire through the walls, etc, etc. The installation is VERY clean and professional. We now have the 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug inside the garage between two of the parking spots so it can be used from either spot (wiring is ALL inside the wall). We have a full RV box on the side of the garage. It has a 30 amp/120 volt regular plug, just like the ones in the house, another 30 amp/240 volt dryer plug for small or medium size RV's (or, for an electric vehicle that won't fit in the garage) and the 50 amp/240 volt plug for the BIG RV visitors. Finally, Ed and Kyle added a surge protector in the garage wall, just below the electrical panel. GREAT JOB, Ed and Kyle! Thank you! Looks great and we are already using some of the plugs! I contacted Jim to install two ceiling fans. He was able to install them on a Saturday morning and was done within 4 hours. Jim was very professional and efficient. I will definitely hire him again for any electrical issue. I would give 10 stars if that was an option. Highly recommended!!

Glen installed 2 new porch lights I had purchased from Lowe's. They look and work great!

Just wanted to say how pleased we were with this company. We try to use local businesses for services and we definitely were impressed with this family owned business. They responded quickly and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Very pleased.

Gerry is very knowledgeable, honest, and does not waist time so he can charge you more. We called him with a restaurant hood problem he came and got it fixed for a very reasonable price. He checked another fridge that was not working and got it fixed within 20 minutes for $80 and its now been a month and fridge still works. Another company had said compressor was out and they needed $1500. Every time we call Gerry he has a solution at a reasonable price will use him again an again.

John is extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to any electric needs. They go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service at a reasonable cost. Would highly recommend the R&T Yoder Team!

don't waste your time. owner shows up unannounce. got him from home warranty company. slow, slow, and slow. Too busy trying to get more work from you instead of fixing the issues. touching stuff around the house. creepy

I've used Mr. Handyman for 3 different projects at my house and there is a reason I keep coming back. When the stairs to my front porch started deteriorating, I had a tough time trying to find a decking company to rebuild them since it was a smaller project. Mr. Handyman came out and had it completed in a day. The next call came when someone broke into my garage (detached), ruining the entry door. When they found out I couldn't close or lock the door because of the damage, they came out the next day, sured up the frame, and made the door lockable. After that, they replaced the door, anded a security door, installed my Ring surveillance light and wired the garage with more outlets. And this past time, they came to the rescue when another company accidentally tore out my back porch.

The staff is incredibly kind and communicative. The quality of the work is top notch and I always feel informed. They aren't the cheapest, but they actually show up and do the work. After scheduling with a few other companies, I'm willing to pay the premium for the work to be done well and on time. There are instances where it'd be more cost effective to use a specialized company, especially for big projects. But if you're like me and not really handy at all, these folks are great.
