Best Electricians in Columbus, OH
I highly recommend Bradley Electric! They came out to do an estimate to replace a circuit panel and bring wiring in our very old house up to code. The estimate only took 10-15 minutes they and sent a detailed estimate quickly (I think it was the next day). Their estimate was slightly higher than some of the other electricians we contacted but I was really impressed with their customer service and decided to give them the business. The techs who did our work arrived on time and finished a 7 hour job 30 minutes ahead of schedule. They were friendly, efficient, and overall did a great job! I wouldn't hesitate to give them additional business if needed in the future.

Prompt, reliable, helpful and polite values not often seen these days but Ben has them all and his attention to detail is spot on. Very pleased with the job and have already booked Ben for a future job.

Excellent service from the minute I called to schedule appointment through job completion. I needed minor work done (replace pull-chain fixture and repair three-way switch) and was able to get an appointment within a few days. The scheduling representative provided a fair and honest price estimate. Technicians were extremely professional, clean, and quick. Highly recommend!

After getting the run around by other companies, Higher Power Electric was prompt, friendly, very competent, reliable, everything you would hope for. With Electrical work in my home, it is very important that I can be assured it was done correctly.

Jim continues to be our go to electrician for any electrical needs at our residence. He is reliable, very personable and will go the extra mile to ensure our needs are met. We strongly recommend James Hartley Electric for your residential electric needs.

New to the area, I read the review already online for Excel and called. My call was returned promptly, he called to let us know he would run a bit late so we felt assured, and a really no-fuss, no drama, tidy job at a fair price all made this service a gem. I have added Excel to my contacts list and will share with confidence. A star!

The appointment was on schedule and he was wearing a mask and super friendly. I have already recommend this company to two friends. He was sufficient and cleaned up after himself, he did a fantastic job!! Needed something else to be done and Riley's is doing that too, GREAT company and very professional.
Thank you Riley's,

I don't recommend this company, the electrician doesn't take notes and then provides a quote which does not match the request.
I am very disappointed with this company. They got there $$$$ for the quote. It is best to avoid this company.

I rarely leave reviews for companies but I thought Mr. Electric deserved to be thanked.
We had our water heater go out a few weeks back and decided to replace it. The water heater company said we needed new wiring to accommodate the new heater and they used Mr. Electric as a sister company.
The service technician was great! He was very knowledgeable and helpful with walking through the service and pricing. They performed the service quickly and were fair with the pricing.
NOW THE IMPORTANT PART. The technician accidentally left two of our circuit breakers off after performing the service. We didn't notice because it was two outlets in our basement that we don't use often.
A few days later we went down to our chest freezer to get some meat out to be thawed only to find it was OFF! After some investigating, we came to realize it was because the two breakers left off were to the freezer and fridge in our basement. The chest freezer held 1/2 of a hog that we had just bought!!!!!!!!!
After a quick call to Mr. Electric, the woman on the phone assured us that she would get in touch with the manager for our area and he would make it right. He called us promptly the next day and after hearing our story REFUNDED US THE ENTIRE COST OF THE JOB!
That level of customer service, timeliness, and doing the right thing regardless of $$ involved shocked me! There are far too many companies these days that would have simply given a customer the run around OR worse claimed the issue to be not their problem
Mr. Electric deserves the HIGHEST praise for the way they handled the situation and they have gotten a customer for life out of it.
Thanks!!!!

3.5 stars rounding up to 4.
Let me start by saying this was contractor #7 I contacted to do this job. The other 6 stalled somewhere between showing up to give an estimate - all the way to pulling a no show when the quote was accepted and the job was scheduled. Needless to say, I was pleased when someone finally showed up to do the work.
I was able to schedule the job within several business days of contacting them. They charge an hourly rate - and I opted to provide materials. I needed a water damaged spot in the sub-floor in the master bathroom repaired - which then required the flooring to be replaced. Of course, all the linoleum had to be removed and the toilet taken out. No small job, despite the small spot damaged. But the work was mandatory as we are working to sell the house this year.
I dealt with one person and he was quite pleasant. Communication was good with the company - reminder, notice of who was coming, etc. The worker went about his business with little bother to me. He only let me know when he was going to pick up materials and asked my input about the replacement tiles.
The one thing that disappointed me - he didn't go to the most convenient store - so he got stuck in traffic which cost him time and ME MONEY. I should have been more specific but since I mentioned the name of closest place and he went elsewhere - I thought I had conveyed the information. WRONG. Lesson learned.
The delay in traffic kept him from doing another small job I needed done. But at that point, I wanted to stop paying his hourly fee and called it quits when the job was finished.
He did a nice job of cleaning up and removing his waste materials. I would use him again for a job that warranted their pricing scale. I will either do the smaller job myself or find someone who will fix it for a fee. Recommend if you're done being stood up by all the other contractors but you will pay for the work. Definitely not a cheap proposition. And I recommend you buy the materials yourself.
