Stan was polite and professional until he received my money then he became rude and uncooperative about fixing his mess. Many of the items that were incomplete were code issues. He rushed to get the job done in one day, not only did he leave many important items undone, he caused extensive water damage to my kitchen ceiling which ultimately had to be replaced. Never would I recommend this man. Honestly, I feel ripped off and if I didn't have to apply one star I would give none!

We had a leak in our basement not long before we were planning on selling and we needed it fixed. Checked around for well reviewed plumbers, and My Plumber stood out, so I gave them a call.
They lived up to the hype - it was a perfect transaction from start to finish, both the scheduling and the service, and the fella who came out was super nice and efficient. The cost was perfectly reasonable, and given the level of service that went with it, was perfect.
We've moved to another state at this point, so we won't get to call them out to help if we need it - but if you're in the Mentor area, you can't go wrong here.

Had a strange leak. John showed up and diagnosed it. It wasn't easy to diagnose but he stuck with it. Had to cut wall to verify and he was right on the mark. He explained everything and answered all my questions. I thought it was the shower. He said it was the sink drain. He was right

McHugh's Plumbing saved the day again with indoor major drainage pipe installation in an older home. McHugh's Plumbing is the best in the business for basic and the most complex prompt plumbing work at a fair and reasonable price. We have used McHugh's Plumbing for many years on the complex plumbing problems that can happen with an older house. We have been able to relax on plumbing issues (focus on other things rather than plumbing) because of McHugh's saving the day with reliable, outstanding, prompt, and efficient results at a fair and reasonable price. McHugh's is a family business where all of their staff have years of experience and expertise on all plumbing issues with outstanding capabilities. They do things the right way every time. For them, the most complex plumbing challenge is basic and routine.

Our main stack had a large crack and needed replaced. Andrew and Tim were here right on schedule and did the job right. They were meticulous and careful to not create a mess. Andrew explained every step and also showed us some other potential problems but nothing to scary. I highly recommend Plumb Nation!

My toilet in my upstairs bathroom started to leak Wednesday night. I called the next morning hoping to get someone to come out. I spoke with Anne and she wasn't sure when Ron would get over to me because he was at a job but she put me next in the schedule. Anne called me much earlier than I expected and told me Ron was on his way. Ron fixed my issue and was very nice as he explained everything to me. I will definitely be calling them again and recommending to others.

Bill and his crew were professional and thorough. He was responsive and had the new boiler installed and the heat on within 36 hours of my initial call in mid December! When he arrived he was courteous and walked with me though the house to assess our heating situation and needs. He then recomended the appropriate size boiler and itemized the estimate clearly for me so I knew exactly what to the job entailed. Additionally he showed me similar work completed recently for comparison of the price. His crew will also be checking back in the next months to ensure a smooth start. Additionally he includes a one year maintenance plan in the price. I highly recommend Verne & Ellsworth Hann Inc.

Wow! It's unbelievable to me that the ONLY review for Litt's is FIVE years ago! I'm leaving my review now, even though the job is not yet complete. I'm having a new vanity installed in my bathroom; the vanity is in awaiting for the top from the company Jerry, the owner, deals with to finish making it. When Jerry came to give me an estimate and draw up the blueprint for the vanity, he noticed that the old vanity covered the vent that allows heat and AC into the room. The new vanity now has a vent at the base. While awaiting the new top for the vanity, my ole sink was installed so I have something to use. I have called weekly for status of the top and Jerry has always been pleasant to me. To add to what I had done, our dryer lint output hose fell out and Jerry I asked if that was something that they could replace; Jerry had his guys out the next day and they did a super job. Normally, I get handymen, but my experience with doing so has only led to spending money for shoddy work. It's worthwhile to spend more money for peace of mind. I highly recommend Litt's and they're very busy duty this pandemic, doing an awesome job.

I had a new counter top installed by a different contractor. My sink was on an island. I got a quote from them to modify the vent line and hookup the new faucet, soap dispenser, and garbage disposal. The vent line was abs pipe which I told them when I made the appointment. I made a drawing that showed they would need four abs fittings. His plan was to replace the abs with PVC pipe and use flexible connections to the remaining abs. PVC pipe cannot be cemented to abs. This drove up the costs and I didn't want flexible connectors. The only reason I could see for switching to PVC was he didn't have abs on his truck or he didn't know how to work with abs. The verbal quote for the rest of the job was also very high. I told him no and did all the work myself.

I have a First Energy home service contract and they have contacted Fred's to perform repairs to my furnace(2x's), hot water tank(2x's), and heat pump(1x) 5 times over the past 5 years. All the services were completed within 24-36 hours of placing the calls. The service techs were pleasant to work with and seem to know what needed to be done to make necessary repairs. Thank you Sam for wearing a mask and gloves during your last visit, these are trying times!!

I wanted to go local but this fellow is NOT worth your time and money.
He was polite but did not do the job and charged a bucket load of money.
I paid just to get him gone!
Do NOT do business with this company!

We were made to use these plumbers from our home insurance to fix 3 low pressure faucets. 2 technicians came. One technician fixed the 2 faucets with no issue. However the other technician Kevin in trying to asses the low pressure issue with the kitchen faucet proceeded to snap and break off the pull-out spray handle using Channellock type pliers. If that was not enough he then allowed the spray hose to fall back into the main unit spout where it became stuck. He then spent 30 minutes using needle nose pliers and a flathead screwdriver in a futile attempt to retrieve the broken off connector and spray hose, scratching up the main unit in the process. Eventually he gave up, declared that he broke it, and that the company will cover the cost for the same or comparable brand model. The model is discontinued from the manufacturer. We contacted the owner/manager TOM who never apologized, WAS VERY RUDE TO MY WIFE, NEVER RESPONDED TO MY PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS and sent in a fraudulent report to our insurance that this is normal wear and tear. KEVIN BROKE IT BEFORE KNOWING WHAT THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM WAS. Our insurance will cover a basic and cheapest replacement unit. TOM and Axis Plumbing refused to cover the difference for the comparable model despite us reaching out to him through phone and emails. Tom is knowingly lying to the insurance protect his own interest which is FRAUD. We spent $75 for the service call for them to break our faucet and now we have to buy a new one for their mistake. TOTAL COST OF THEIR MISTAKE APPROXIMATELY $1000.
Do NOT ever use these plumbers. Late to appointment, extremely arrogant, broke our property, now refusing to fix it or make it right.
Attached are photos of KEVIN breaking our faucet, the broken spray handle with damage to the main unit, and the last photo showing a non-broken, working spray handle from our matching other unit for comparison.

Came over to fix a pipe leaking issue in the basement and left me worse. He charged me $140 for the work and I contacted him cause I fixed and spent another $80 and asked for some money back he dicked me over and never came thru. Do not trust him as a plumber not sure of his other work.

Called them to replace a toilet at a rental that was not working while I was out of town. No call no show TWICE! To make it better the following week (out of town for a wedding again and probably more than I would be able to do myself anyway) downstairs tenant had a leak coming through the ceiling call about 10 plumbing places on Saturday 4 pm and they are the only one I can get ahold of... reluctantly I decided to give them another chance and made it known the previous week they were a no call no show.. someone was supposed to show up between 10 am and 2 pm... I called 3 times throughout the day, Noon was told someone would be there around 2. I called again at 2 and they said they were finishing another job and we're headed there shortly, I called again at 3:30 and again got that someone would be there shortly. Save your time and call someone else bc they won't show up anyway.
