Stephen installed two toilets for me - one of which needed an extension to sit right - and hooked up a sink in a vanity for me.  I first submitted a work request through the website in the morning, he arrived in the afternoon and by the close of business that same day, he had all the work and clean up done.  All the work was pro.  Everything works and looks great.  He also trucked away my old toilets and sink.  The price was right.  He is fair, careful, and super knowledgeable.  He even gave me a well-thought-out solution to prevent my crawlspace pipes from freezing.  Excellent!

We were referred to them by a neighbor, whose mother had extensive plumbing and repair work done by them and had great results.  We received the same treatment.
First of all, we had our main water line that runs to the city water burst in our yard.  We found out this was something that others in our neighborhood and elsewhere in Mint Hill have had to deal with at one time or another since water usage was changed from one source to another, currently Charlotte's city water.  Anyhow, we discovered we paid half the price as a neighbor once did a couple years ago for the exact same job (but probably us having the better customer service, which seems to be priority number one for this team.)
Then, we discovered our dishwasher had been leaking and ruined our kitchen floors, cabinetry, baseboards, and some wainscoting.  As anyone knows, from working with insurance companies, you get the minimum amount from them for reparations.  Well, these guys were able to work with this amount, plus a minimal amount from our pockets, to renovate our kitchen to a whole other level.   All in all, we had major work done for little, done professionally and beautifully.  For example, we once had a tacky linoleaum floor, to which was replaced with matching laminate flooring, new cabinets and hardware, new countertops where layered countertops had been thrown down  in a shotty way, new wainscoting on the walls, new baseboards and trim, and paint.  In addition, they were able to replace our stainless steel dishwasher with a new one, tear down an ugly wall partition from our dining room to living room, and put in a new stainless steel sink, replacing the old iron one.  
These guys are efficient, professional, and definitely put customer service first.  They do high quality work and make sure they are thorough from beginning to end.  They not only take care of the plumbing end, but also do carpentry work and home renovation.  You only have to call them to take care of it all and they do a superb job on both ends.  We highly recommend!

Don't waste your time getting an estimate for work from these people!!

I am appalled and completely perplexed on how they even stay in business!! I just had the most outrageous and ridiculous quote of my life, to install a dishwasher and garbage disposal!
Cost for these simple installations=$814!!! That's right, not a typo!!

Who in their right mind would pay this price?!! Shelby in their office called me afterward to collect for the visit fee (another $52) and I was like What... Seriously? I asked her how they could perform such highway robbery and in her scripted tone of voice she said, Well, I am not sure what you were quoted but we have been in business for 30 years, blah blah blah. OMG!!

There must have been some very poor and desperate folks out there that possibly had no other choice, or, no other knowledge that they could do much, much, much better!! I feel very sorry for anyone who had to give up their hard earned money to pay these people their exorbitant prices! This isn't Manhattan, and I don't even think anyone in their right mind living there would pay that either.  

Guess what, found a great and reputable company locally that charged $150!!

PF plumbing you are performing robbery, not plumbing!!!!

Seemed great but this really depends on the tech sent to your home. Some may not be trustworthy.

What a rip off.

Called Friday to schedule an appointment.  Explained that I had two faucets in the kitchen of our 8 year old house that needed to be replaced with two Brizo (high end Delta) faucets that I had purchased.  Asked roughly how much it would cost.  Lady in the call center said the technician/plumber would have to come out to give  an estimate, impossible to quote anything over the phone.  There was a $29 dispatch fee to which I agreed and they scheduled it for Monday. On Monday they rescheduled me for Tuesday.

When the guy arrived on Tuesday, he said it would be $602 to install the two.  He explained it's a flat rate $286.50 each to install a customer supplied faucet.  Really?  $600 for about an hour of work? Every $100/hr = $200,000 per year... So the labor is billed out at a rate of $1.2MM/year.  I could see maybe $100 each + dispatch but $602?

There is no reason the lady in the call center could not have told me that the charge for installing two customer supplied faucets would be at LEAST $602 and maybe more depending on what the technician/plumber found when he got here.  But they wouldn't get dispatched nearly as much if people knew the outrageous rates they are charging per hour for labor... and coming out first to quote also puts the customer in the position of being over the barrel... gives Michael & Sons more leverage to get you to agree to those high prices.

Outstanding guys! They thoroughly explained the problem to me and how to prevent it in the future. Fast, friendly and reliable. Will definitely use again!

Had a mini split installed, I've had zero issues with it. It works great. From the start Waldrop took great care of us. I look forward to using their professional team if I need any other work done.

Outrageous charges for a house call. $500 to Clear sewer line but it did not fix the problem. Avoid at all cost.

This company was recommended by my home warranty company , the tech was loud , lack knowlegde , and was very unprofessional. He state over and over what the home warranty didnt cover and he didnt know where to find the parts, asked questions unrelated to the job.  I dare to say he was GHETTO, I would never use or recommend this company. The home warranty sent another company two days later that fixed the problem in 30mins with Zero issue.
