Had a toilet issue and expressed my need on YELP.  Waldrop plumbing was one of the first to respond so I gave them a call back.  They were very prompt and courteous with their service and had our problem fixed very swiftly.  Landon was our technician and he was very personable, polite, and professional in demeanor.  I would definitely recommend him (and Waldrop Plumbing, Heating, and Air) to anyone who asks.

After dealing with another company, who stated they fixed the issue (not once, but twice), we reached out to Waldrop Plumbing for help. Jamie came early and carefully diagnosed the problem. We are dealing with thousands in structural damage, but with care, expertise, and compassion...Jamie and the Waldrop team of professionals have us smiling once again. Thank you for making what is certainly one of the most stressful times for a homeowner a better day!!

if i could leave a 0-star revew i would. i was conviced i needed a new system 1 year ago and paid about $25k. it has been serviced now 4 times and yet again today is not working. every time they come out they try to charge me even though it is under warrenty and has not made it through even 1 season without repair. they are terrible.... i want a full replacement or refud but no one will call me back ever. buyer beware. i will be filing a suite in court if this is not corrected.
the part is last sercive call for o heat was just last week and he actually wrote up a work order for system enhancements $415..really

We had our HVAC system replaced and all the technicians couldn't have been more knowledgeable and accommodating. There was no standing around other than a quick lunch and morning break. They worked constantly and professionally. After the work was all done they took plenty of time to go over all the components and demonstrated how to change the filter and how to use the new thermostat.

Our Air Conditioner quit.  I called Waldrop but they could not come until perhaps the next day.  I called another outfit and got an appointment for late that afternoon. Yea!  Then the Waldrop truck pulled up.  OK, I and my bed-bound wife needed cooling.
    Do you remember when you would take a car in for brake pads and the mechanic would find a leak in the brake line and a worn rotor, oh yeah and the shocks need replacement!
    The technician quickly found the problem, a burnt relay, and had to replace the whole board it was on.

    *Let me give you some of my bono fides:  Forty years in motors and controls.  Three years in instrumentation.  Three years with electrical contractors.*

    Had I been physically able, I would have soldered on an ice cube relay.
$15 in parts and half an hour labor to repair the board with parts I would have had on the truck.
    The tech had to drive across town to get a new board, (roughly $350).  While he had, me he tried pretty hard to convince me that I needed new capacitors for both motors, one was priced $260+, the other $280+ plus labor.  I declined.  I have replaced these type capacitors before.  Never paid more than $10-$25 each, often less, at Grainger, Lowes, etc.
    So, I got a $15 problem fixed for $350, plus labor, total about $450.

         I see that the last good review they got was back in 2018

Got a pipe capped and a seal fixed in a toilet charged $300 and 3 weeks later the pipe busted, they over tightened it witch caused a crack and wanted $89 just to come out to look at their mistake. Call someone else this company isn't worth the hassle, time, or money.

Waldrop grossly overcharged me for two easy jobs that took all of twenty minutes to fix. The first job consisted of a shower handle that just needed to be taken apart and put back together again. I was charged $327.00 for this. The second was my garbage disposal was clogged and didn't work. It took him about 5 minutes to fix it. I was charged $170.00. Waldrop Plumbing you took advantage of a senior citizen and that was just wrong. I hope you don't screw all of your customers like this.

Today is Nov. 19 and it's 7:44 PM. I have been waiting for Waldron all day to do the maintenance on the Over $9000 unit I purchased from them. I have had multiple calls telling me they were coming. At 4:00 PM the call I had said they would call me in 30 minutes to tell me they would be here. I called at 6:00 and was told they were busy and had a lot of customers with no heat. They were the ones that set Nov. 19 for my maintenance which I pay a good bit for. At 6:21 PM I had another call telling me they were going to do me a favor and come in the morning between 7:00 and 10:00. It is their policy to not set a time because they can't live up to the time therefore since I've waited all day I was getting this special favor. The problem is I have a Dr. apt. At 10:00. I said are you telling me no one is going to show up now, I have waited all day. She said if I wanted to stay up till midnight someone would come. Hey gang, it's 7:52 now, what's your bet?
Very poor way to treat a customer, don't think I will renew and who knows if or when this pre paid maintenance will take place. Very poor business dealings with a good customer so beware.

I had the most wonderful opportunity to meet Jeff at the Spartanburg Home and Garden show. He spent a lot of time talking to me about different thermostats and was so patient, answering questions my Mom and I had.
When it came time to install, Gavin was great on making sure the guys were on their way to us that day. The installation guys called us to, letting us know. Everyone was so polite and got the job done quickly! We even got a follow up call to make sure we were pleased. I haven't seen outstanding customer service like that in my life! I loved it!

I highly recommend Waldrop. I love our new thermostat and loved how easy they made this process!

Waldrop installed our HVAC when we built our home. The house has cold spots, warm spots and many other issues with the HVAC. Now Waldrop refuses to come fix their errors. I would not recommend Waldrop as they have proved to me that they are NOT reliable nor are they ethical in the way they do business. Thumbs down for Waldrop!

I have signed up with this company for the Maintenance plan for two years now. Last year and this year is nearly impossible to get an appointment for the maintenance for the summer and for the winter. This year's appointment they can't even give me a time. Instead they will call me 30 minutes before they arrive. Meaning I just sit home all day and all evening until they call. This is the only day I could get an appointment without pushing the time out to December 22 which is unacceptable.Woman I spoke with was very rude. This maintenance plan is quite expensive. I will never use this company again nor will I ever refer them to anyone.

Had a mini split installed, I've had zero issues with it. It works great. From the start Waldrop took great care of us. I look forward to using their professional team if I need any other work done.

I've heard their jingle for years, and we finally were able to put it to use. We called Waldrop to repair our extremely old trane unit, and they were out to our house within an hour and a half. Wes was extremely professional and nice (he never forgot his boot covers when coming back into the house.) They listened to us and helped us to repair our existing unit since the compressor was still fine, and weren't pushy on replacing an expensive machine. He even had (one of the two) parts we needed on his truck! The other part came in two days and they got us fixed up quick and easy. Would definitely recommend them.

After calling Waldrop for an A/C issue I had last month their tech arrived at my home 2 HOURS later and began resolving the issue.  The tech quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved the issue.  Other HVAC companies I called needed 2-3 to even visit.

I called on a Thursday after coming home from work and realizing the 2nd floor AC unit wasn't working. I gave them my contact information and was told that they would call the next day (Friday) with technician availability. Around 10AM the next day hadn't heard from anyone so I called and was told that they had been very busy and dispatch would be calling. Dispatch then called immediately after and said they would be keeping me updated throughout the day. It is now Saturday and I never heard from anyone again. I cancelled my request with Waldrop and will be contacting another company. Very disappointed.

Big shout out to Bob from Waldrop who came for my service call today. One never knows who is going to show up on these calls.  He looked experienced, but it turns out he really knew his stuff. He dealt with the explanation by my husband and my correction of the details and chronology of events without any concern.  He immediately said, I think it's your thermostat, not the motor, but let me check a couple of things.  About 20 minutes later we have a new thermostat and we are in business of cooking down this house!  He then lets me know where I can buy filters online at a good price, tells me he will out the thermostat in as a warranty replacement, and that in a few days I will get a bill just for labor.  Quick. Efficient. Honest. Knew His Stuff.

I am a Waldrop comfort plan customer for 14 years now.  I am selling my house and buyers had some issues they wanted addressed with our HVAC units.  Waldrop came out at no charge to take care of.  However I did choose to repair on thing that was not out of code when the units were installed.  So they did have to charge me to fix that.  As usual they did what they said, came when they said and as always very professional.   Nick is a great guy, very nice, does great work.  Highly recommend.

Great company to do business with. We had them install a new heating and air unit and they come 2 times a year to service it. We've had no problems or concerns with them..all interactions, no matter what the reason, have been very positive and satisfactory.
