Charlotte Mechanical

I have used Charlotte Mechanical for several years. They installed a new Trane system for me a few years ago. They have always provided timely service and good explanations about what they need to do and have done. Their service and techs are top notch.

I have used several HVAC services where I worked and before Charlotte Mechanical. None come close to their professionalism. I will not use anyone but them.

Poor quality of work on installatio  of whole HVAC system,furnace and air. Condescending attitude from manager /sales, Jake.  Ceiling cracked and large ceiling gap, about 6 inches that they tried to just put spray foam in, and a messy job at that for such a huge gap.

I recently hired Charlotte Mechanical to install a compact whole house water filter in my townhome. Calvin arrived and was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The water filter was installed in a reasonable amount of time and for a fair price. I called two other plumbers and Charlotte Mechanical was within the same range.

I used Charlotte Mechanical to fixed my AC which was not cooling the unit, and ended up paying $1,000 to get it fixed. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone, not only did they ripped me off with their pricing, they did not fix the problem. 1 month later, my AC is broken again and not cooling down. I've called them to complain and get someone to take a look at the AC Unit, but guess what?... I would have to pay again for them to just go take a look at it! I'm obviously not giving them any more money. I have consulted with other companies on the issue I had, and they all have said that Charlotte Mechanical stole my money when I supposedly got it fix a month ago. I also tried going to their offices and when I got there no one opened the door, even though, there were many people inside. If I could give this company a ZERO, I would give them that. They only care about taking your money, and not taking care of their customers... UNBELIEVABLE! I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, if I do not get contacted by them after I called yesteryear.

The service repairman, Adam, came out to my home yesterday late afternoon after I called them a few hours prior for service on my gas hot water heater. He diagnosed the problem with the unit which required a part replacement. In under an hour, he replaced the part, tested it and even discovered a gas leak in the pipe and fixed that as well. He was friendly and polite and I'll definitely recommend Charlotte Mechanical to my friends if they are ever in need of a repairman. Thanks for a job well done and giving me hot water again!

Beware they sale you a unit and it cost more than average and then bring a smaller unit and installed it,   Then the sheet metal is not flush up against the side of your home and  then they interfere with your siding being put on properly when returning to make the adjustments,  The wiring is not to code after several visits we still do not know if it is up to  code the inspector has not been back out. All they had to do is  Measure properly and installed the proper unit and  sheet metal and sealed it properly and none of these issues would have occurred. Now we have  siding that is not  installed correct,  due to the facts above.  There are communication issues. and  I am  waiting to see if  this is and industrial size unit, I have tried to  get it installed properly and been unsuccessful.
