Best Electricians in New York
I had an upcoming pool party and the pump wouldn't start. I needed an emergency visit since the party was in 4 days. Tony responded within an hour of my online request and set up a visit. He was easy to deal with and he figured out the issue (timer relay and worn outlet). Job was done quickly. Only issue was the visit/consultation fee, which was above Home Advisor's NJ avg rate. It was an emergency so it may have factored in to cost.

Very impressed with this company after their appointment this morning, installing two new outlets for the new dryer I bought. I had a very friendly electrician named Eddy who did a fast job and gave me a small discount after I asked.

Excellent, speedy service. I called and they sent a technician the same day...all the way to Englewood. Extremely professional and thorough. So glad I found them!

Responded quickly to my request. Offered a fixed price and same day service even though I said my issue was not an emergency. Showed up when promised. Trouble shot and fixed a unique and strange wiring problem in my 100+ year old house. I expect it took a bit longer than he had expected, but honored the fixed price quoted. All around great service at a reasonable price given similar current trade rates (electricians, plumbers, etc.). I will definitely use F&A again for any future electrical service needs.

We called All Star to have our dining room chandelier replaced and centered. New lighting was going to be 2 pendants. Also, we had previous tried having this done with a Handy.com guy-
and well, that didn't work out, so they were fixing a bad attempt as well.
Scheduling was pretty quick and easy, with no long lead time. I believe I called early in the week and they were able to come in that Saturday.
Technician was great! Our guy was Erjon and is highly recommended. After my Handy.com experience, where the hole was drilled before centering, Erjon was super detailed about every step. He made sure to understand what I was trying to do (center the lighting), measured both walls to find the optimal point, and also checked with us to see how long we wanted the pendants to fall. Naturally this is something I would care about since it's my own home, but some technicians don't care to ask unless they are told. Erjon, cared to ask, and went beyond by sealing the bad holes previously done.

I needed some work done on my circuit box and after reading the reviews on Yelp, decided to call Baran. They did not disappoint. When I called to make the appointment, I was pleasantly surprised that they told me they could have an electrician come by 8:30 am. In past experience with other electricians, I was given a window of time that I would have to wait for their arrival. Two electricians from Baran arrived right on time, which was very convenient for me. They were polite, had the parts needed in their truck, and fixed the problem quickly. The final cost was also very reasonable. I highly recommend this business and definitely will call them again if I ever need any electrical work done.

I had a recommendation from a neighbor to call this company about the installation of a ceiling fan. I spoke with Jeannette, who answered the phone, and was quoted $150 hr, $45 for transportation and $50 for a certificate of insurance. I asked her how long their warranty for their work was, and we entered the Twilight Zone. Trying to nail her down on a specific time period necessitated that I be put on hold while she went to her boss; when she returned, I was told that he decided to pass on this job. If you are an intelligent consumer asking questions, they don't want to do business with you, it seems. Glad I dodged this bullet!

It took them at least 2 months to get a light out to me (hence the 4/5), but it was exactly what I needed and asked for. Worked with Dimitri. They're very busy so expect a wait. Don't fret, he'll always be in touch when he has an update (aka the manufacturer finally sent them your stuff). They work with multiple manufacturers so sometimes it takes a while.
