Best Electricians in New York

We noticed a problem with an electric outlet and called Diamond Electrical Services. Tony called back within minutes and said he'd be at our place first thing in the morning. He did, service was up and we were extremely happy with Tony and the service he provided. Would absolutely call him back for any electrical problem.

Very impressed with this company after their appointment this morning, installing two new outlets for the new dryer I bought. I had a very friendly electrician named Eddy who did a fast job and gave me a small discount after I asked.

My ceiling fan/light combo stopped working. They troubleshooted the problem that it was the dimmer that was burned out and not the fan/light and replaced the dimmer. They responded immediately and were here on time. I will use them again.

Wow  !  fantastic    service.   i  called  for  a   couple  of    electrical   problems in my  apartment.    burnt  out    outlet and   no lights in  back  rooms.     the   electrician  arrived  exactly on time, as he   said  he  would  when i called  the night   before.    he  completed  the    job   in  about   20   minutes.    he  replaced the    burnt  out  wall  unit,   plugged  in my   AC    restored   lights  in  back  room.     fast,   efficient,   clean  worker.      whether  you  have a  small or  big  job,  this    is  the company  to  call.    the  price ????    perfect  !!   very  low  .

They set the bar for excellence.

Called them for a simple problem (double tap in electrical box) and they were able to come out same day as they're local to Hoboken.

Worker that came didn't exactly know what a double tap was, nor that a pigtail repair is perfectly sufficient per NJ Code (structuretech1.com/2010/… )

We discussed that the pigtail could be longer (unnecessary, but if they wanted $25 extra I wasn't going to fight it)..  He took a picture, and went back to his van to talk to the boss..  Came back from the van 10 minutes later (van wasn't that far away,) and apparently my circuit breakers looked old (on an android phone picture no less) and he'd have to replace the perfectly good breaker instead of signing off on the pigtail.

Knowing enough about the code to know that repair was COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY (it was already fixed by someone with an NY license), I basically threw him out instead of being upsold on unnecessary repairs.  

Before he left, I asked if he was personally licensed to work in NJ..  His response: Have a good night sir..    I think that answers my question.  

Yes, I'm pissed.. but this could have been $150 for them signing off that a 5 minute job was done properly.  Heck, they could have redone it for that price and I wouldn't have cared.. but the switch to a multi hundred dollar circuit breaker replacement was extorsion in my opinion.  

Instead they get this review from me for free.  I would not recommend them.

I have been trying to get a washer and dryer in my Center City apartment for about two months. Because my space is so small and odd, it's been quite the hassle to say the least. After our machines were delivered, we found out they couldn't be installed because we didn't have an outlet for the washer to be plugged into. After looking on Yelp and Google I found All-Star and called the same day as my delivery about an outlet installation. They had availability for someone to come the next day. Erwin and Sam looked at our space, explained what they needed to do, and installed the outlet within an hour and half. They were extremely professional and efficient, and now our appliances are installed and working great. I'd absolutely call them again if I need any other electrical work.

I highly recommend Dan.  He arrived promptly on schedule, was very courteous and professional.  He worked quickly and cleanly and his fee was very reasonable.  I will not hesitate to ask Dan to take care of all of my electrical needs in the future.  You cannot find a better electrician.

i needed recessed lighting installed in my new apartment.  I called PK Electric and they scheduled an estimator to review the work within 24 hours.  Peter the owner was very knowledgeable and even suggested the best lighting solution. I got the work done and the price was fair.  I had 2 electricians who were fast and efficient and very clean--followed all the covid protocols.  I will use them again.

This place is a mecca for electricians and contractors who specialize in high-end work. They have a large selection of products, knowledgeable staff, and excellent management. Try them first before you go to a chain home improvement place.

If you ever have a problem, ask for Joe, he's wonderful. : )
