Best Electricians in New York
This literally the first yelp review I ever wrote. Jimmy was a life savor!! He answered right away and was here by my apartment in 10 mins! He was done in less than 5 mins! I would definitely recommend him. Prices are reasonable as well.

A great resource for your electrical needs. We worked with Sein Me on the installation of 4 ceiling lights in our hallway. Prompt and professional interaction the entire time. We will use again!

Jason and his team are very responsive and do quick work. They moved a plug for us to be behind our mounted tv and also moved a light sconce in our bathroom. They were very quick to respond and offer a quote and they showed up on time to do the job. I'd recommend them for future work.

These guys were professional and fast. They fit my small home repair while they were working on a larger installation and were responsive and reasonably priced. When I asked for help adding an internet cable to a line they were putting into my home office, they were completely helpful. High recommend and I'm glad I found a good electritian in JC.

I had an excellent experience with Omeshwar. He was very professional and did a great job installing a number of dimmers throughout my house. There were a couple complicated issues that arose during the install, and Omeshwar handled them like a pro. He was also a pleasure to work with, was great at communicating, and was reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back to him in the future!

Yesterday the Wife used a HairBlower to seal window plastic around the A/C unit & forgot the space heater was on tripped the breaker. I tried to reset breaker with no luck. One phone call this morning, Mike answered. I told him the problem, he instructed me, & I tried again. It worked. Thank you Mike, for your time during a Snowstorm . Power Restored. A+++++

These guys were great. I had trouble finding an electrician in this area on short notice. They actually picked up the phone (which was surprisingly rare), scheduled an appointment same day, fixed 2 problems within an hour (that prior handyman couldn't figure out) and were good with my kids. Pricing was competitive with another quote I received. Would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Serge to anyone looking for his services! I needed my TV mounted, and he not only responded right away, but made the process seamless for me. I messaged him on a Saturday and had my installation on Tuesday.
After he mounted the TV and left, I realized I actually wanted it to be lower. I messaged Serge and he came back right away! He re-mounted the TV to my satisfaction and I'm left with a great viewing experience.
He also gave me some tips for shelving and lighting that I could install, so I may be giving him a call in the future!

Jaime from Fuentes Family Electrical helped me out big time. We were ordering new appliances and needed to coordinate the specs for the machines with the power drops in my house. I was told by the appliance store that I would need to do some electrical work to make it happen.
Jamie made it extremely simple. He was helpful, very personal, interested, super knowledgable, and just nice. He offered to come over and assess the problem by morning, and even to walk me through it on the phone right there.
I actually didn't need his services in the end, but I will be calling for all of my electrical needs in the future.

They have us a very good price. They came same day. They had the part in stock. They were flexible. They fixed the issue. The price was very reasonable especially for same day. We strongly recommend them.

I called and asked to speak with the owner and was immediately cursed out and called horrible things by whoever it was that picked up the phone

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Okay - here's the story. I have this annoying chandelier that keeps crazily lighting on fire and blowing out. But I love it and so I had it fixed a couple of times at my old place and even took it with me when I moved. Fast forward to Prospect Heights....same old, same old: my light starts doing it's crazy stuff, light bulbs start blowing out, children and adults alike in the house are scared.
I decide to check out Yelp for electrician reviews in my new hood. Gambi has great ones so I decide to give them a try. I call at 9am, by 9:30am, I have a returned call and by 10am Eugene is here fixing my light. He tells me it has to go with him to the hospital and I figure I'll be without it for at least a week. Nope - he says it will be back in two hours and it is. He installs it, all of the lights work again and I am a satisfied customer.
But then.....
an hour later, I am upstairs and I hear a huge crash. I come down to see that one of the big crystal balls around the lights has fallen and shattered. Glass is everywhere and the light is ruined. It's after 5pm (of course), but I call and leave a message. Five minutes later my call is returned. 10 mins later, Eugene is back. He then proceeds to spend TWO PLUS HOURS sweeping and vacuuming and all kinds of crazy clean up for the incredible mess. And then without my saying anything, he proceeds to make arrangements for how to replace the globe that has shattered (which I later found out was no easy feat and I know it cost a bundle). He got the globe quickly and replaced it right away.
When I effusively thanked him for customer service unlike what I usually get, he said that his work is good quality so this almost never happens, but when it does, this is what he does because it's what should be done. Amazing. Too bad it's so not the norm.
oh and...
1) the issue was not his fault -- the light had been faultily repaired (he showed me - it was super bootleg) by the previous handyman that I had come
2) several weeks later and no issues with the light
3) not one piece of glass. NOT ONE. we all know how hard that is, right? there must have been two million shards and I have toddlers...and bare feet so I was super grateful.

I started discussing the project I had with Ciro back in April. I needed someone to add mesh to the bottom of my fence line to deal with rats coming from neighboring yards. This required digging up a garden and trying to preserve the 70 year old plants along the fence line. He took a look at the job and gave a very reasonable price. Ciro did the work in one day, came on time, prepared with his own tools and left the job site in a clean fashion (and he provided me with a receipt). A true professional. Brooklyn is in the need of a good handyman and I think they found one. I look forward to using Ciro again in the future.

I hired this contractor to replace my circuit boxes and to bring in an extra 100 amps of electricity. It was a seven day job. The work they performed was done perfectly. Pasquale who owns the business with his father was a pleasure to deal with. They arranged for the building department to inspect the job and of course I received an approval for the work on the first inspection. He labeled all the circuit breakers and all the boxes were installed level. Great attention to details. They covered the floor and put up plastic and left my house broom clean. Pasquale also fixed a few other small electrical problems I was having without charge. If you have a big job to do, please ask Pasquale to show you the work he did in my brownstone in Park Slope.

Avoid at all costs. I asked the guy (Jeff Brausewetter) to install a 220v outlet for a new dryer and he said he needed to put in a new breaker box. I paid for it, and he came and installed it; he told me he was almost done but just needed to get the part for the outlet. Then he stopped answering the phone or replying to my texts. Finally he replied saying that he had been locked out of his phone and would sort me out, but after that he became unresponsive at the new number too. Finally I had another electrician out (Riviera Electric, recommended). He explained that (i) Jeff's breaker box was completely useless, and (ii) he hadn't actually done anything except for screwing the box onto the wall - no wiring or anything. So, I'm out over $300 with nothing to show for it except for a useless breaker box that I'm going to have to throw away. BEWARE!
