Best Electricians in New York

Found this co on yelp.  Very fast response. Felt like price was fair for what I wanted done.  Reviews were correct.  Moe was extremely responsive and sent out his technician Steve who was very attentive to what I wanted done (recessed lighting installed in the ceiling of my bedroom and living room, hooked up to Lutron Caseta smart switches).  Thank you Moe + Electrician Techs!

Klodian and his team did some electrical work for us recently including installing recessed lighting, removing old fixtures/patching and installing a new bell and security camera. They were really great, super professional, punctual, and COVID cautious. Klodian was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention reasonable and transparent in his pricing. His team was great too - skilled at what they do and thoughtful with clean up. I would hire them again in the future and definitely recommend them!

Richard just did an electrical job for me. He is professional, clean and did a great job. He was very easy to work with. I definately recommend him!!

Update;  he called me a week or so later, explaining that his phone had died and he had lost the number.  Appreciated his effort to clear up this matter.

An electrician named Ralph came and took care of some messed up outlets on my roof; he was super-professional, got everything replaced and working quickly and clearly (the wiring had been done badly when the building was put up) and was really pleasant to work with too.  Highly recommend this company, if guys like this are the ones doing the work!

I called Nair to install pod lights in both the kitchen and living room area of my apartment. Gaston came the same day to look and quote me a price. After agreeing on the price we quickly set up a schedule for the work to be done in a few days to my surprise.  The work done was amazing and I couldn't be happier with the look and work done in one day! I definitely Nair electrical for any needs you may have in your apartment or house as the level of professionalism and work is first class. Gaston and his assistant wore masks and were very accommodating to any needs we had while keeping the work and any mess to a minimum.

John was such a professional. He upgraded my service to 200 amps and everything came out great. I would recommend him and his team to anyone looking for a great, qualified and professional electrical experience.

They were very dishonest with pricing -- initial troubleshooting was over $200, then added cost to fix -- I asked for free estimate, got trapped using them -- very expensive

5/5 stars! It's New Years Eve and I managed to cause a circuit to overload. I figured best case scenario was it wouldn't be fixed until after New Years and be a couple hundred bucks out. I found this company through yelp and gave Mike a call. Mike kindly walked me through what the problem was over the phone and managed to help me fix the issue and told me what to look out for in the future! I'm beyond impressed with his kindness and patience especially on New Years Eve. Thank you!!

I contacted a few electricians who either weren't legitimate or didn't seem interested in my needs.  I emailed Conroy Electric Corp.and Danny contacted me later that day.  He stopped by to take a look at my job (I wanted to have a transfer switch installed for my emergency generator).  He made some notes and took a few pictures.  He asked if he could call me back in 2 days with a price.  I spoke with him a few days later, was satisfied with his price, and we scheduled the install for two weeks later.  He arrived in the afternoon, on time, and ready to work.  Apparently there was a piece missing from the equipment I purchased so he ran out and picked it up from the store.  He installed the switch and outdoor inlet and ran all the wires between the transfer switch and my main panel with ease.  He was talking to me the entire time pretty much answering all of my questions.  He wrapped up in about 2 hours and we fired up the generator and threw the switch.  Everything worked great.  I would absolutely recommend Danny to anyone (actually have to 2 people already).  Danny is an honest, hard working, stand up guy!

Came same day to repair breakers, was fast and responsive. Chris did a great job and I will hire him again!

Ezrick is a 5 star electrician and person. He goes above and beyond to do a great job. He also is easy to schedule with and gets a job done quickly. I highly recommend him.

First off when you deal with CEL Electric, you're dealing with the owner of the company not just another employee. Scott has done several projects in our 120 year old brownstone and these are not simple or straightforward jobs. The building's wiring is original and needs to be handled with great care and that's exactly what we've experienced on each job he handled for us. His electrical work is first-rate and he is meticulous working with outlets and switches on old, dry plaster walls and fans on ornate ceilings and that's something often overlooked with electricians. Each and every time I've called, he's been super responsive and we've had no qualms with his quotes. No reason to even think about using anyone else and that's a great feeling.

They did a great job, fixed my hanging fixture quickly, great price, were accommodating and followed up!  Would definitely use again and recommend.

I needed a couple of small things done in my apartment -- hang a ceiling fan and replace a faulty light switch and found Ilya here on Yelp. I got in touch and was able to send photos of the work I needed via text and had a quote not long after. He and his assistant showed up right on time early Saturday morning and had everything finished in less than an hour. On top of that, he seems like a cheerful, friendly guy. I'm definitely calling again when the need arises in the future.

Upgraded dishwasher power line from 15 to 20 amps

This is the second job i've had Don and Pat do and they were awesome. Super professional and did a great job. Needed an upgraded service line for a new dishwasher and they were promptly on time and did a great job. They even helped disconnect the dishwasher (which they did not have to do) to make sure the job was done properly. I'm having them come back to upgrade the whole house and move a meter. I trust them and they do great work.

Since we wanted to install a new dishwasher, we looked for a plumber through yelp and found Sergey. He gave us an estimate after we send him some photos. He was polite and did a great job. Price was fair. Thank you Sergey!

Came quickly, diagnosed the problem (a potentially dangerous short in a ceiling light fixture), and fixed it without any major surprises in price or complexity. Would recommend.

Katie was wonderful as was the Handyma'am team! Finding a decent handy person has always been a struggle so I'm thrilled to have found the company. Communication was seamless and they arrived on time and completed all of the tasks on our list in a timely manner. They were clean, quiet and totally professional. Given we have a small baby in the house they were quiet and at times we didn't even know they were in the apartment!  Katie was very familiar with our old tricky plaster walls and came with the right tools to do the job. They were also very safe, with covid testing practices in place as well as mask wearing the entire time they were working. Looking forward to hiring Katie again for some other projects we have lined up. Highly recommended!

We needed 2 bedroom ceiling fans to be changed to different frequencies.  My bro called one electrician who was 2 hours late to the appointment and he spent 20 min dissembling the fan before he pointed out that we need to change the circuit breakers and need to replace ceiling boxes as the weight of the fan was too heavy for the boxes.  His suggestion was to make a bigger fuse box panel as there were too many high end appliances attached to the itty bitty fuse box.  He expected a whole day to get someone to bigger hole in the cement wall and get his guys to help with rewiring the fans.  His total was about 5K but he was going to give a $400 discount like he was doing us a favor.  The only two things he did was remove the ceiling fan and turn the switch to the remote.

We wanted to get a second opinion and came across Cooper Electrical Services.  Thank Goodness for Roman and Victor who were extremely friendly and professional and throughout the whole process knew what was going on.  The moment they came in they examined the fuse box and the complicated wiring of the ceiling fan.  They got right into identifying the problem and work on it very diligently.  They were patient in placing the complicated fan back to the ceiling and took the time to explain everything that was done with their work.
