Best Electricians in New York

Away on vacation, pipes burst... a wonderful neighbor went to my home, turned off the main water value / firemen turned off circuit breakers... now what?
I called Ian (from Scotties Electric). He was unbelievable, immediately he found a Plumber ( i had called many with no luck)... Ian went to my home to meet the plumber who repaired the pipes, and Ian restored my electric, heat, etc... my home would have been seriously damaged had it not been for Ian.

Our toilet was leaking from the base. CN Coterie was very responsive and had a fair price. They came promptly and fixed it. They were also easy to work with in getting all the information my building required of them.

Brian and crew did an amazing job installing a Nema 14-50 outlet for our Tesla! Very professional and reasonably priced. Will definitely reach out to them for any future electrically needs, and I would highly recommend this company! Thank you again Brian.

They were super responsive and answered right away via phone call and text message. I was able to effectively communicate the problems I had (this time, the dishwasher wasn't working and previously, it was the AC within the unit). He assessed the issues through my messages and photos and gave very clear pricing and payment options for each scenario (if he's able to fix the issue vs. if he's not able to fix the issue). The pricing was very reasonable and he was able to visit, take a look and fix the issues the same day. I would recommend Chodaba as a go-to for any issues you have in your home.

We just had Vin from Aufiero electric mount a TV on the wall, as well as set up a sound bar and subwoofer in our living room. When we called about an estimate, Vin was very responsive and scheduled a follow up to handle details. On the day of the job, Vin was prompt and explained what decisions needed to be made about placement, wiring, etc.

The work is very high quality, and everything looks great. I found the quote to be reasonable as well. Vin's assistant was also very nice and did a great job. I'd highly recommend this company, and would use them again.

They came on short notice to address an electrical concern on a work-in-progress renovation.  They addressed our concerns with the utmost professionalism, and worked with us to plan needed electrical work in a way that was minimally invasive and code-compliant.

They are super nice guys, smart, professional, and worth every penny. Highly recommend this father-son team!

I initially called Steve to restore my kitchen lights, he very thoroughly checked everything before making a diagnosis of the problem. He couldn't install any lights because I needed new ones which he was great about coming back to install. I am very picky and the ones I picked were too bright, I exchanged them and Steve came back to put those in.

I wanted to also out replace lights in my bedroom. I ended up changing my mind on the first ones I picked and we had to change appointments. Steve was extremely patient and when he came back he let me know that the lights I picked actually created more work for me. (I would have had to patch holes in the ceiling) He thoughtfully went to Home Depot and brought me two styles of lights-one of which involved little to no patching.

Steve is very neat, fair and great to work with. Btw-longest review ever written by me....

I have been using Dynamic Electrical Contractors for years. Both the owners are reliable, honest, hardworking - and always get the job done and on time. They were extremely patient and had a lot of great ideas. It has been a pleasure working with them and their crew.

An electrician company battling for business in NYC that does not the first thing about customer service. After calling to discuss business, one of the associates did not even begin to give me the time of day. As I was explaining  our needs the associate hung up, but not before mumbling something under his breath. I can sit here and say I am thankful to never do business with such a B grade company. I'd rather stick a paper clip in an outlet than do business with H & A.

6/30/17 - Brian reached out to me and explained that there were seemed to be some communication issues. Since we had not finalized on an electrician to fix our attic fan yet, Brian was willing to come out the same week and change it with a discount for my troubles. Bill and his helper came on Friday as promised. He took a look at our roof and wasn't able to replace the whole fan as I had discussed with Brian since he said it was too steep, but was able to swap out the motor as well as install a switch for us. They were neat, courteous and efficient. A mat was laid out at the bottom of the stairs to catch debris from the attic. The whole thing was done within 2 hours. Bill said this new motor should last us a very long time, which is good to hear.

6/28/17 (previous review, one star) - Not sure what the deal is - maybe business is booming so they don't care to return calls. I called and left a message with a pleasant woman, she said Brian would be getting back to me. That evening he called and left me a voicemail to call him back. So the next morning I called back. Left a voicemail on the machine. Two days later I called again and left yet another message with a woman who said she heard my message on the voicemail yesterday and that Brian would be getting back to me later that afternoon. Nothing. It's been about a week now. Moving on.

Was surprised that he was able to come next day to repair attic thermostat. Also discussed other wiring issues while I had him on the clock.

Called them at 7am. Came at 8am. They fixed an important issue for us immediately. Service man was friendly and nice. Highly recommend

Craig is a really good electrician. He explained things in plain English and recommended only what was necessary to meet our needs. He took his time to ensure everything was done correctly. He costs thousands less than our contractors. I highly recommend and look forward to working with him again.
