Best Electricians in New York

Ian is the best!  He is prompt and pleasant and knows exactly what he is doing.  He gives great advice and is honest as far as the work that needs to be done. I was also pleasantly surprised when he handed me the bill - no over charging from Scotty's!  He is the only electrician that I will allow in my parents home when I am not there.  He is honest, trust worthy and leaves the premises spotless!!

These guys are TOP notch. I don't know about you, but I've significantly struggled finding fair, decent (not corrupt!) contractors in New York City.

I've been burned by several electricians including ones who overcharged and did not wire things to code.

I had absolutely the best experience--they did not rip me off whatsoever and took their time to insure the proper parts were installed and everything that was done correctly.

I will definitely be using these CN again!

We used B-Tec for a recent install of some lighting fixtures and the crew was awesome! They were really chill, professional and easy to work with! They got the job done quickly and made an effort to take proper care of our home while they worked-covering the floors, etc. They finished in record time and were very competitively priced! We are thrilled with our new fixtures and will definitely be reaching out again for future electrical projects!

Even though he could not take the big job- Roman came to my house and spent at least 30 mins. Assessing the situation. I received his advise and honest opinion! This man is honest! Please, call him if you have an issue, you won't regret it. So happy we found Aufiero electric from Yelp project page. And Vincent recently installed Nema 14-50 power outlet with Chargepoint flex (level 2 EV charger). Almost all required town permit paperwork was neatly filled out by Vinny. Did we say he did a fantastic job! Very impressed with the way he listen and communicate while setting everything up.

They came on short notice to address an electrical concern on a work-in-progress renovation.  They addressed our concerns with the utmost professionalism, and worked with us to plan needed electrical work in a way that was minimally invasive and code-compliant.

They are super nice guys, smart, professional, and worth every penny. Highly recommend this father-son team!

I initially called Steve to restore my kitchen lights, he very thoroughly checked everything before making a diagnosis of the problem. He couldn't install any lights because I needed new ones which he was great about coming back to install. I am very picky and the ones I picked were too bright, I exchanged them and Steve came back to put those in.

I wanted to also out replace lights in my bedroom. I ended up changing my mind on the first ones I picked and we had to change appointments. Steve was extremely patient and when he came back he let me know that the lights I picked actually created more work for me. (I would have had to patch holes in the ceiling) He thoughtfully went to Home Depot and brought me two styles of lights-one of which involved little to no patching.

Steve is very neat, fair and great to work with. Btw-longest review ever written by me....

I have been using Dynamic Electrical Contractors for years. Both the owners are reliable, honest, hardworking - and always get the job done and on time. They were extremely patient and had a lot of great ideas. It has been a pleasure working with them and their crew.

An electrician company battling for business in NYC that does not the first thing about customer service. After calling to discuss business, one of the associates did not even begin to give me the time of day. As I was explaining  our needs the associate hung up, but not before mumbling something under his breath. I can sit here and say I am thankful to never do business with such a B grade company. I'd rather stick a paper clip in an outlet than do business with H & A.

I do not get where the good reviews came from. The salesman Edinson was very nice and took his time with me,  but after a few questions the car salesman routine came out which is fine as long as the work is done well. Once I did my research on what they are installing I realized everything was very overpriced,  especially with other companies quoting the same project way under their quote.  He was taking advantage of a new homeowner. I get cheaper is not better but this company would not get back to me. It's important if a company gets back to you in a timely manner. After Edinson left ( he asked me to write a good review on his performance ) I emailed a few questions because he forgot a room in the quote. I found out they Stand by their product according to the salesperson yet they are not available after 4pm and will not respond on weekends,  after I was told we will be there to help 24/7. Mind you I found this company by calling and leaving a voicemail on the Friday before the salesman came over only to get a return phone call on Monday. So they claim they will stand by their work but not on Saturday and Sunday and after 4pm,  so don't have problems then.  Back to the email I sent after Edinson left. I got a response on Tuesday after the email was sent Friday. Jacki told me she would ask Edinson about my questions and get back to me. Guess what no response. I wouldn't use this company the reviews are clearly sponsored. If you are trying to sell someone on a five thousand dollar quote wouldn't you expect them to be attentive?  Don't fall for the flashy sales pitch.

Needed help with an outside light at the entrance of the driveway that wasn't working. I put out a request on Yelp and Brian responded immediately and was able to come out the next morning diagnose the issue and made the repair. The light works perfectly and he was great to work with.

Every time I call this company I get the answering service. They take the messages but then no one calls me back. I have called several times and still no call back.  I did not have any issue getting someone to call me back when I  used them in 2019.  Devesh came out and completed the job I requested at a fair price.  It is unfortunate that this time is unsatisfactory.

I can't recommend Craig and Thour Wiring enough. The timer on our outdoor lights was broken and needed fixing. Craig was extremely responsive, professional, and just generally a pleasure to deal with. After coming by to assess the situation, he provided a detailed quote that was extremely reasonable and clearly stated the work to be done. He finished the job in a timely manner and I'm very pleased with the results. Craig is clearly a hard worker and trustworthy guy, and I'll definitely use him for any future jobs.
