Best Electricians in New York

Away on vacation, pipes burst... a wonderful neighbor went to my home, turned off the main water value / firemen turned off circuit breakers... now what?
I called Ian (from Scotties Electric). He was unbelievable, immediately he found a Plumber ( i had called many with no luck)... Ian went to my home to meet the plumber who repaired the pipes, and Ian restored my electric, heat, etc... my home would have been seriously damaged had it not been for Ian.

The service tech was on time and very knowledgeable, he did everything that I asked. There wasn't any hot water in my apartment, the tech diagnosed and repaired my hot water tank, I was very satisfied with the work that was done and the cost was as estimated. Excellent work CN Coterie!

I had B-Tec Electric install a hanging light fixture (Matt and Derek) in our foyer on an 18 foot ceiling.  They had to maneuver a 16 foot step ladder in relatively close quarters, without damaging the fixture they had just installed.  They were fast, put everything back where they found it, and the fixture looks great and works perfectly.  Thank you B-Tec Electric and thank you Matt and Derek.

Roman recently helped us by replacing 3 lighting fixtures in our new condo. He was extremely responsive when I requested a quote on Yelp and was on-time, friendly, and efficient with the installation job. We're thrilled with how everything turned out and are glad that we now have a go-to electrician resource in Jersey City. Thanks!

I was in a jam with one of my rentals and referred to Vin at Aufiero Electric. We had a tricky electrical short and some other happenings in a recent home renovation that was out of my league of diagnostic (and I have a good background with this stuff).

I was able to secure an appointment and the Aufiero van showed up as promised. Vin, along with one of his teammates, were both very nice, respectful and knowledgeable in the field. Professionals to say the least.

Some tests were ran and a few options were given as there was actually a few different things going on here. The house was old, there was some older unused wires and happenings behind a few of the box.

The shorts which plagued us for a few weeks were resolved. All other issues were addressed and the price was very fair for the services.

I recommend giving these guys a call. The job will get done and you will not be disappointed.

I have had a longstanding electrical project which required a licensed electrician but also one that was willing to go the extra mile to avoid turning it into a larger project than I wanted.  It needed some smart troubleshooting.  Any time that my electrical panel needs to be worked on, I want to feel confident in my choice of electricians.  This particular project involved adding a new electrical line to the panel and other related work.  My family has used Tesla Electric in the past (both Father and Son) and they completed this project just as efficiently and carefully as past projects.  I like that they always listen and answer questions and kept me informed of each step throughout the two-day project. They stuck to their original quote and went way beyond the project scope when issues arose.  Highly recommend.

I have been using Dynamic Electrical Contractors for years. Both the owners are reliable, honest, hardworking - and always get the job done and on time. They were extremely patient and had a lot of great ideas. It has been a pleasure working with them and their crew.

An electrician company battling for business in NYC that does not the first thing about customer service. After calling to discuss business, one of the associates did not even begin to give me the time of day. As I was explaining  our needs the associate hung up, but not before mumbling something under his breath. I can sit here and say I am thankful to never do business with such a B grade company. I'd rather stick a paper clip in an outlet than do business with H & A.

No B. S.  They did my whole electrical box to 200amps.  Installed a transfer switch for my portable Generac Generator to the new electrical box.
Ran couple of wires directly from the box to some new and old outlets.
No issues at all.  Didn't have to micro manage their work at all.  Excellent job

Dave came promptly and noted he needed a ladder. He left with a promise to return. In over two weeks, despite numerous contacts by me  he has not even responded. No phone, no text, no nothing.

Every time I call this company I get the answering service. They take the messages but then no one calls me back. I have called several times and still no call back.  I did not have any issue getting someone to call me back when I  used them in 2019.  Devesh came out and completed the job I requested at a fair price.  It is unfortunate that this time is unsatisfactory.

Do not trust Thour Wiring.  Craig is a liar, a schmooze and absolutely careless.  Our house could have caught fire because of his sloppy work.  I write this after a glowing five star review, which he badgered us to write for him.  Now I know why.

Short of it:  
We needed full electrical replacement in our mostly gutted one bedroom.  He gave us a quote and at the time we asked him to be careful as to keep the cutting up of our current drywall to a minimum--we were paying our contractors to work on the apt at the same time.  Not to worry he said.  Well, after his work there are holes EVERYWHERE, and not the usual amount with routing cables.  Even our contractor said that he cut way more than he had to to route the cables because it made it a faster job for him.  Well that cost us an entire additional day with our contractors to fix it, around $1300!!

Craig also insisted on kissing my girlfriend on the cheek each time before he left (and giving her bearhugs).  What the hell??  How is this not totally CREEPY?  We do not know who you are, dude.  This was very uncomfortable for her, understandably.

What's even worse--and it gets even worse after this, just wait--he did the wiring COMPLETELY WRONG!  Dedicated office outlets as agreed upon?  NOPE!  Just splice them into the living room line!  Now we can't run the office AC at the same time as the living room AC because it will blow the fuse!  UNBELIEVABLE!  No way to fix it now.  Lovely.  

Also, Craig didn't label any of the breaker switches, which may not have mattered, but...

EVEN WORSE:
After a few weeks we started having what appeared to be power surges, flickering, appliances going on/off etc.  We called a different electrician who checked the breaker box--THE MAIN GROUND LINE WASN'T EVEN CONNECTED!!!!--Just resting against the ground, NOT SECURED AT ALL!!!!!  ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???  Our brand new appliances in risk of getting fried, the entire apt in risk of fire...

I cannot believe this fraud hasn't gotten shut down.
