Away on vacation, pipes burst... a wonderful neighbor went to my home, turned off the main water value / firemen turned off circuit breakers... now what?
I called Ian (from Scotties Electric). He was unbelievable, immediately he found a Plumber ( i had called many with no luck)... Ian went to my home to meet the plumber who repaired the pipes, and Ian restored my electric, heat, etc... my home would have been seriously damaged had it not been for Ian.

Our toilet was leaking from the base. CN Coterie was very responsive and had a fair price. They came promptly and fixed it. They were also easy to work with in getting all the information my building required of them.

I had a very odd and unique situation. The electric in my kitchen and morning room was off and intermittently coming back on and off. They came within 2 hours of me calling and Derek and Matt came to my home and were very intrigued at what was happening, but both were extremely determined to figure out the root cause. They were under my crawl space and all over examining every possibility. They discovered the root cause (former water pump melted my main breaker and another), and were able to replace both breakers. Cost was also very reasonable considering how much time they spent at my home. I would use them again and again and have some bigger jobs upcoming and I will definitely call them. I would also highly recommend B-Tec to friends, family, and acquaintances. Great work!!!

Roman recently helped me with an electrical issue affecting my HVAC. He was very responsive, prompt, courteous, timely, and fair. His schedule flexibility was most appreciated. He was quick to respond to a quote request and stayed true to his word. I was very pleased with his work and more than fair pricing. I am pleased, and have referred him to the rest of my building. We just had Vin from Aufiero electric mount a TV on the wall, as well as set up a sound bar and subwoofer in our living room. When we called about an estimate, Vin was very responsive and scheduled a follow up to handle details. On the day of the job, Vin was prompt and explained what decisions needed to be made about placement, wiring, etc.

The work is very high quality, and everything looks great. I found the quote to be reasonable as well. Vin's assistant was also very nice and did a great job. I'd highly recommend this company, and would use them again.

They came on short notice to address an electrical concern on a work-in-progress renovation.  They addressed our concerns with the utmost professionalism, and worked with us to plan needed electrical work in a way that was minimally invasive and code-compliant.

I have been using Dynamic Electrical Contractors for years. Both the owners are reliable, honest, hardworking - and always get the job done and on time. They were extremely patient and had a lot of great ideas. It has been a pleasure working with them and their crew.

Hired them to help us figure out our electrical issues in our brownstone. They were awesome.

Very expensive rate. I did not use them. Their estimate was $250 just to come in and look at my project. I declined and got someone else $100.

I called Dave at Tower because he had such great reviews here and now I know why. He deserves every five star review. The receptacle for my clothes dryer blew the circuit breaker and needed to be replaced. Dave came the same day I called, he told me how much it would cost during the initial phone call (before i remembered to ask), he assured me that he would fix the problem. He arrived on time, fixed the problem and reduced the charge because it was such a quick repair. He could not have been more prompt, professional, or nicer. I would definitely call him again and I recommend him without reservation. I never leave reviews because i'm lazy, but this was a great experience. I've owned a house for decades and I've had good, bad and indifferent but this was great!

After interviewing a few electricians  in NYC (all of whom I found on Yelp), I decided to hire Craig at Thour Wiring to hang a very complicated chandelier and do a bit of rewiring for an art installation in our apartment in SoHo.  He did an exceptional job and deserves the many 5 star ratings he's received from fellow Yelpers!  He will be my go-to guy for all future electrical projects.  Since I don't live full time in NYC, there were several extra steps of coordination and he was great about working with my very specific schedule.   On the scheduled project day, Craig texted me to advise he was running a little late due to traffic (even though it was only 20 minutes later than we'd scheduled).  Such courtesy is rare these days and I really appreciated that gesture.  Once he and his assistant arrived, they were right on it.  We ran into a few unexpected issues with hiding some cables in the walls for the art installation and Craig came up with a great solution.   His team also did the wall patching which was great - so nice to not have open walls afterward. Just had to hire a painter to finish up the details.  Every aspect of our project was handled with care and respect and he left our apartment neat and clean.
Craig runs a great business and I would not hesitate to hire him again.
