Best Electricians in New York
Responsive Communication:
I used Thumbtack to get quotes for an electrical issue we were experiencing where a brand new dryer would not turn on. Azz was quick to respond to my post with a quote and all my follow up questions about the scope of electrical work that we needed.
Great Pricing:
Azz's pricing was unbeatable compared to the other electrician quotes we received. Azz charged for finding/evaluating the problem AND fixing it. Other electricians were trying to charge the same amount just to diagnose the issue and would not quote how much it would cost to do the potential work.
Quality work:
Azz first checked to ensure the outlet had power, and then confirmed the appliance was properly wired. Opening the outlet box, he found that out that the outlet had not been properly wired. Azz fixed my issue in less than an hour and saved me hundreds of dollars by recommending a cheaper solution that did not require cutting into the drywall and running extra lines to the breaker.
Absolute Professional:
I really appreciate that Azz made sure the space he was working in looked exactly like it did before he left. He asked for a broom to sweep up dust and left my space clean. This guy is A+.
Highly Recommend:
I've put Azz's number in my phone as my electrician and will absolutely recommend him to my neighbors and friends.

I recently installed 2 ceiling fans in my apartment. When I went to install the switches wires popped out of the wall like the old can of snakes gag. Although I was able to get the switch working properly and put back together there seemed to be a loose connection and some flickering occurring. This was on a Sunday afternoon and my fear was an electrical fire. I called Millennium and left a voice mail expecting a call back on Monday. Within 30 minutes I got a call back and there was an electrician at my home the next morning. I was blown away by the level of response and professionalism. They will be my go to from now on.

Taka Electric did a great job fixing the wiring to my pool system. Syed was good with calling and communicating about arrival. Overall, personable, friendly, reliable.

We contacted Decatur Electric to install 4 ceiling fans, change a light fitting, insert x3 double general purpose outlets, an outdoor outlet, replace a switch board and conduct a safety check, plus a few other additional things. We found them to be honest, genuine, reliable and friendly. This was a big job and was completed over 2 days, they were punctual on both days. They had come and give us a quote beforehand and found them to be competitive with his prices. Overall extremely happy with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone needing an electrician.

We used Paul from Prudent Electric to bury some wires in our apt. walls and to install new sconces. He and he workers did a great job. I also found Paul to be very responsive beforehand and reliable. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again. He's also a very nice man.

Had Chris come out for a new circuit installation. He came on time, took a few hours to do the job and everything was smooth. He worked with my HVAC contractor Mr Air NYC(who is also excellent).
They figured out amps and all the electrical requirements for my house - I had 7 zones and 3 compressors installed. Everything was smooth even though when I purchased the house the prior owner did a somewhat sloppy job with the expanded circuit panel.
They ran all the required lines for a fair price and I'm thrilled to recommend them to others.

Our old electrician was no longer in business and we were in need of a new one. I found these guys just on a google search and they had great reviews. They came the same day and gave me the best price between 6 other companies! Mustafa did very clean and quality work in fixing and replacing our kitchen outlet. He even fixed a broken outlet upstairs that was making noise and checked out our bathroom outlet. All for no extra price. You don't find that kind of quality now. I will definitely be calling them for future needs.

Incredibly reliable and they do great work. We have hired them for everything from plumbing problems, to custom building shelves and simply anchoring heavy items to the wall and have been happy each time.

Eastern has done both electrical work and telecommunication work for me on the job. They are reliable, trustworthy, and very fair priced.
Now I am doing some work at my house and Eastern was the first and only company I thought to call and hire.

I really recommend these guy's! They were very nice, quick, professional and made sure to keep me updated on everything. Called them in order to receive a quote on upgrading my panel box AMP. They sent over an electrician who was nice and seemed really like he knows what he's doing. Gave me a fair price (these things are never actually cheap) and completed the upgrade within 3 days.
As I said, they were quick, they did a very good job and were fair with the pricing and payment arrangements.

Great service by Joe and company!!!
During the first winter in our new home, the lower level of my concrete base house was really, really cold and we weren't sure whom we could have here to address the issue. After doing some research and consulting with a third party expert, their recommendation was to have baseboard heaters installed where we needed it. The reasoning being it was the most economical for the 300 sq ft of space we needed it in. At the end of the day, our concern with this option was that, although it was economical in the short-term, we weren't so sure that was the case in the long-term.
After doing some more research, we decided to put in a request on Angi for a new baseboard heating project. Immediately Joe called me and, voila, a free consultation was scheduled just like that! I explained to him our needs and we made an appointment asap. On the day he arrived at our home he was very, very professional throughout. Since our floors were fairly clean, we requested that he place booties on his boots and he had no issues with that what so ever. In addition, if you have any pandemic-related concerns, he also wore a mask in our home prior to stepping indoors.
Within 20 minutes, he assessed our heating needs, explained the best options for us (hydronic baseboard heater), described in detail what work would need to be done and where the heaters would be installed. In addition, he answered EVERY question we had to our satisfaction. Within hours of leaving our home, he provided a detailed estimate, via email, of what the cost breakdown for every piece of work required for the job would be!
After we did our due diligence on the estimate and detailed breakdown and had some back and forth Q & A with Joe, we knew Joe's was definitely the most reasonable quote --- by far! In addition, his patience throughout our communications was amazing as we asked question after question after question and he answered them, promptly, with the utmost detail!
On the day of the work, Joe and one of his partners, Mark, arrived right on time for the installation. Since it was quite a labor intensive project, it was estimated to be 6 hours and Joe's estimated completion time was SPOT ON! As with the consultation, both Joe and Mark were super professional throughout and we let them be as they did their thing. Mark ended up completing the job at the end and explained to us the ins and outs of our new hydronic baseboard heaters, how to work the thermostats we bought and he also cleaned up and vacuumed the area.
It has now been 2 weeks since the installation and the heaters work perfectly! When the heaters are on, our entire lower level is warm and toasty and we couldn't be happier with their performance. Also, we love the clean look of the heaters and they blend right into our walls.
Overall, we couldn't have been happier with the service of Mr. Electric of Ramsey. Everything worked out perfectly....AND at a reasonable cost! There is no doubt in my mind that many companies can install an electric heater, but I'm not sure how many will be as professional, efficient, spot on with estimates and reasonably priced as Mr. Electric of Ramsey.
Do I need to say more? If you have ANY electric or heating needs, definitely go with Joe and company! You will not regret it!!!

Cedric and his team installed multiple lights in my home and did a wonderful job. They were professional, patient and meticulous. I would surely re-hire Cedric to do more work in my home in the future. He is difficult to get in touch with but it was worth the persistence.
