Best Electricians in New York
I had a huge emergency this past Friday with by business and Jorge and his whole staff where so compassionate putting off everything for that day and staying well into midnight working to get my business up and running for the morning. I thank all of JMG Electric for taking the time from their very busy schedule. I would highly recommend them and they will always and will be my only electricians. And I'm making sure I take time out of my day to write reviews on every website possible like they took the time out of their day for me.

We had a leak under the kitchen sink. We fixed it and thought we were all good. Unfortunately, the water must have been leaking for a longer time than we realized. The maple floors around the sink started to warp really badly. I found Anthony and Make Ready on Yelp. He was very responsive. He sent a guy to look at it, gave me a quote, sent my building manager a Certificate of Insurance and had a team of experienced floor guys show up as scheduled. They removed the warped floor, replaced some boards and sanded the whole place so that the new wood blends in perfectly. When the floor guys took all the furniture out of the living room and packed it neatly and carefully in other rooms, I realized that the walls and sills were a mess. They hadn't been painted in 20 years. I asked Anthony if he had painters who could come in right after the flooring. He did and we added to the job. In two long days, they painted a large, irregularly shape room with 11 foot ceilings.

Nermin was amazing and very skillful, courteous and professional. He bailed us out with some last minute work that we found out we needed done after our ancient dishwasher was removed prior to receiving the new one. He originally planned to come yesterday but the bomb cyclone had different plans for us. He came early this morning (CHRISTMAS EVE!) and worked his magic in short order and left our mother with one less thing to worry about.

Levi came out and gave me an estimate that was reasonable the same day I called. Then his team came out and installed the 60 amp, the wiring, the NEMA plug, and the electric vehicle charging station in my driveway the same week. They were professional, quick, and clean. I highly recommend him and his team. They know what they are doing and are real pros.

[note: my city says cleveland; this refers to work done in my nyc home] When you assign 5 stars, yelp notes, Woohoo! As good as it gets! Well, they got that right. When I suddenly had a very strange electrical problem in my coop apt, maybe because of something I did, I could feel the stress electrifying my body....last times I had electricians in, for an estimate, I was told I couldnt do what I wanted, I got outrageous estimates, I was lied to (actually showed the guy a copy of the code to show he was wrong...that went over well :) ). So I was braced, No need. George, on the phone listened, told me he knew the type of building I was in and some of quirkiness of the wiring, and asked the cost, he told me $150/hr.....but also assured me that it didnt sound like it should take any more than an hour. Sure, I thought, but ok. He arrives in less than 4 hours, and in less than 5 hours the problem is not only solved, it is thoroughly explained. Then I asked, as long as he was there about other work i wanted done and abandoned in frustration. A job that I had told couldnt be done the way I wanted by another electrician? Turns out he was right, but it took George to explain why that turned on a technicality, and THEN he explained how it could be done better at just about the same cost. Then the next item which was tricky...IDEAS TO CHOOSE from and a nice, while we're there combo price. They listened, they thought, they responded, costs were reasonable and they did what they needed to do... no more no less...to solve my immediate problem. Congrats to them on the first 5* review ever from me on Yelp (and among the very few positive ones I have bothered to write). I highly recommend them and look forward to their completion of the additional work we discussed.

Zero stars. Totally unreliable, wildly expensive, owner flew off the handle was rude and extremely combative. This place may have been great years ago, but owner doesn't have any help anymore and can't give realistic deadlines on when work will be completed - he also has a terrible attitude when something doesn't go his way. We brought in a vintage chandelier for rewiring, owner seemed like he could do it, said it would cost $500 plus tax to do and he'd have it delivered back to us in two weeks. Two and a half weeks go by, I call and he said next week. The next week, still no word from him, we call again, he says next Tuesday, maybe earlier. Later that week, when earlier didn't happen, I call to confirm we're getting it on Tuesday as we are having our contractor come in to do work and they need to install the chandelier. Owner said next Tuesday, but don't schedule anything, because you never know what might happen. You can't rush me. I pushed for a firm date to expect it since its been over a month when he promised it in two weeks, and he hung up on me. Called me back and asked me what I wanted to do, I said I wanted the piece on Tuesday, but again, he was non-committal. Finally, he got mad and just told me to pick up my piece and he'd give me a refund, which we did, and he proceeded to again be rude, combative, called me names, etc. in person. At some point, he told me he was doing me a service like a favor -- which I reminded that I was paying him $500 to do. Very negative experience. The good news for us is that we just took the chandelier to local hardware store that does lamp rewiring -- they told us a week or earlier and are charging us $50. I'd recommend the same for anyone else unless you don't care AT ALL when you get your fixture back and don't mind getting WILDLY overcharged.

We had a great experience with Spirelli Electric. We contacted them based on Yelp reviews and spoke to Emily at the office. She was courteous and knowledgeable and very responsive. She left a message for Joe to call us later the same day. Joe was very professional and helped us through a couple of options and provided recommendations. He checked on replacement recessed LED trims and called us back promptly with an estimate. He was also easily available for a couple of follow-up questions. There was never a problem contacting him or Emily. There were also follow-up emails. We scheduled the installation of nine LED cans and trims about two weeks later. Jeff Uffer was our electrician. Jeff was terrific. He called us from the road to confirm his arrival time. He was very professional, friendly, very courteous and managed his time very efficiently. He was very careful and cleaned up very well upon completion. Invoicing was done electronicalliy on the spot and we received an email confirmation and invoice copy. Work quality was excellent and cost was very reasonable, as promised. No surprises. We will definitely call Spirelli Electric again in the future and we'll ask for Jeff.

Super quick and great service. Vincent responded within a few minutes of getting the Yelp request, came early the next day for an estimate, which was very fair. Work was done the next business day - the work team was very professional and left the house in great shape when done. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I've worked with Malfettone electric, both times for outlet installs (plus running cat5 cable the first time). They're great. Super responsive, prompt, easy to work with, extremely professional, nice, and most importantly, the jobs were perfectly executed, and quickly. They explained any options clearly and identified what the best practices are. I also really appreciated that they were willing to do smaller jobs - a lot of electricians and contractors aren't. So happy to have found them!

I had a great experience with DZ Electrical. From beginning to end, their estimate was reasonable, the guys that did the work (sorry I can't remember their names) left everything spotless. I had a hot tub connected and you don't see a wire anywhere. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Writing this for Joan Suskauer, who is tech challenged. First experience with Mr Wonderful Electric was so comfortable I was totally relaxed within minutes. You could tell right away how competent, neat and experienced he is. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it immediately. Comforting to have him do the work. He is now my permanent electrician.

Over priced, wouldn't come back for problems caused by him. Very rude person, would not recommend

To give Primo TV & Homes Services only 5 stars is an insult. I was looking to have four TVs mounted (on of which was 82) when I came across this amazing company. What started out as a job for TV mounting turned into countless additional jobs over the span of two days. These men worked tirelessly to not only mount my TVs but they installed two ceiling fans, 12 Sonos speakers, 4 sound bars, installed cabinets in my garage, installed a ring door bell, did electrical work, installed outlets, and dimmers switches. After working in my home for 21 hours Danny will be back to install my video cameras. Thank you Danny, T, Linda, and all of the men that worked on my home and over the last few days. You were all truly amazing. Oh did I say they do plumbing work too!

Called them on Sunday for a broken light fixture. They came promptly and fixed the problem . Reasonable price too. Would definitely use them again .
