Best Electricians in New York

I had a huge emergency this past Friday with by business and Jorge and his whole staff where so compassionate putting off everything for that day and staying well into midnight working to get my business up and running for the morning. I thank all of JMG Electric for taking the time from their very busy schedule. I would highly recommend them and they will always and will be my only electricians. And I'm making sure I take time out of my day to write reviews on every website possible like they took the time out of their day for me.

I very rarely write reviews but don't want anyone else to EVER go through what I have. I moved into a 1-bedroom and wanted the walls repainted (white & a light grey). It took 8 DAYS to paint a 1-bedroom! I was quoted a 5 day job, BUT the first painter did not cover my furniture and moved it around  carelessly damaging a brand new chair claiming don't worry if anything happens Anthony has insurance. The second day he shows up 2 hours late so I did not allow him to continue the job (I learn Anthony thought two men were painting). Two new nice men show up to paint the apartment for the next 4 days... they do cover the furniture HOWEVER they missed SO much. There were places where they grey painted spilled into the white, where they did not paint over the old existing paint. SO, a new head guy George shows up for 3 days and let me tell George was lovely but he is stuck trying to fix all of their mistakes and mishaps so it's no surprise that George misses something. So I'm left with this after 8-days of painting and an addition $300 charge for extra materials. I do not know what these materials are as I paid for the additional 3 gallons of paint out of pocket. Do paint brushes, and bins cost $300. There is no receipt to show for that. They are nice and responsive but unprofessional and don't care about your apartment. I can't speak to the rest of their services but don't ever use them to paint your apartment.

What can I say? I had a problem with my furnace and he was able to come to my house at 9:00 pm and fix then explained to me in details how I could avoid the problem in the future. I look forward to doing more business with you in the future.

I called George for an appointment, and he called me back several times when we could not find a time. He impressed me with his diligence in terms of scheduling an appointment. He texted me when he was on his way, and he and his father showed up on schedule. They did a great job at a fair and reasonable price. George Kousiaris is now my go to electrician. I highly recommend him; I think you would be as satisfied as I am!

Great service ! Brought in a vintage lamp in that had a wobbly socket and neck, Toby did a stellar job fixing it and making it good as new. I was worried it may not be fixable after having spent a small fortune to purchase and ship from specialty store. Took a few weeks but well worth the wait. Highly recommend !

Jeff from Spirelli is amazing! He's very knowledgeable and professional. He spent the entire day fixing a myriad of electrical issues, including the shoddy unfinished work done by a previous electrician, as well as fixing a broken doorbell, several broken outlets, and a broken overhead patio light.

He was extremely courteous, always asking if we were happy with what he was doing. He was punctual, and called us to let us know he'd be 10mins late. He had integrity and refused to connect some old devices that were in bad shape. He was also very friendly.

Spirelli is a very professional service with a receptionist, appointment reminder emails, and emailed invoices. His prices were reasonable and he even gave us some tips on how to save money.

Super quick and great service.  Vincent responded within a few minutes of getting the Yelp request, came early the next day for an estimate, which was very fair. Work was done the next business day - the work team was very professional and left the house in great shape when done.  Highly recommend.

Darren thank u so much for helping my parents out so quickly. Paul from DZ spent about an 1hr troubleshooting the electrical problem at my mothers house and repaired it immediately. From start to finish I received excellent treatment and very fair pricing. This is definitely a number that I will be calling again, hopefully not to soon though!

I hired Mr. Wonderful's Electric based off of the stellar Yelp reviews, and they are all on point.  After purchasing my new home in Plainview, certain electrical outlets were not working in one of the bedrooms.  I had originally hired a different electrician closer to my home, but after several hours and over $600, they were not able to identify the issue.  That company was supposed to then come back and run new wires, but they ignored my attempts to schedule the follow-up.  I was also concerned when they were in my house that they were dropping equipment without concern over my newly finished hardwood floors, so I decided to go with a different company even if they had to start from scratch.  

So I contacted Mr. Wonderful's Electric.  First of all, Jason and Paul are professional and a pleasure to work with.  Second, they were able to find the issue in under two hours.  They then thought they had the issue resolved.  It turns out the outlets had stopped working again after they left.  So they had to come back and run new wires but didn't double charge me.  Keep in mind that they were coming from Oceanside to Plainview, which is not a short drive.  Furthermore, they were very respectful of the work that we had already done to the house, and carefully repatched the holes that they had put into the walls to run the new wires, which could easily be repainted.

I would highly recommend Jason and Paul.  I will be hiring them again to install high hats in my basement.

MV Electrical Contractors completed lighting work at my new condo in Hoboken. Mike was so professional and did an excellent job. I am very pleased with his work and highly recommend this company. His prices were very reasonable and he was an absolute pleasure to work with!

They were professional, quick and made the whole process very easy. even saved me a few fights with my wife on adding on hanging some lights we need up as well!  would use them again

Called them on Sunday for a broken light fixture. They came promptly and fixed the problem . Reasonable price  too. Would definitely use them again .
