Best Electricians in New York

I had a huge emergency this past Friday with by business and Jorge and his whole staff where so compassionate putting off everything for that day and staying well into midnight working to get my business up and running for the morning. I thank all of JMG Electric for taking the time from their very busy schedule. I would highly recommend them and they will always and will be my only electricians. And I'm making sure I take time out of my day to write reviews on every website possible like they took the time out of their day for me.

I very rarely write reviews but don't want anyone else to EVER go through what I have. I moved into a 1-bedroom and wanted the walls repainted (white & a light grey). It took 8 DAYS to paint a 1-bedroom! I was quoted a 5 day job, BUT the first painter did not cover my furniture and moved it around  carelessly damaging a brand new chair claiming don't worry if anything happens Anthony has insurance. The second day he shows up 2 hours late so I did not allow him to continue the job (I learn Anthony thought two men were painting). Two new nice men show up to paint the apartment for the next 4 days... they do cover the furniture HOWEVER they missed SO much. There were places where they grey painted spilled into the white, where they did not paint over the old existing paint. SO, a new head guy George shows up for 3 days and let me tell George was lovely but he is stuck trying to fix all of their mistakes and mishaps so it's no surprise that George misses something. So I'm left with this after 8-days of painting and an addition $300 charge for extra materials. I do not know what these materials are as I paid for the additional 3 gallons of paint out of pocket. Do paint brushes, and bins cost $300. There is no receipt to show for that. They are nice and responsive but unprofessional and don't care about your apartment. I can't speak to the rest of their services but don't ever use them to paint your apartment.

Called them up to install a nema 14-50 outlet to charge an EV. Installation was very smooth and done promptly.  Nermin was very courteous and answered all my questions. He made sure the outlet worked 100 percent before leaving. Would def recommend for any electrical project!

These guys were fast, efficient, and above all, reasonably priced. Will call them again if I have an electrical problem.

Found Legacy on Angie's list. Very happy I ended up calling this company to do my electricity work. I had about 3 different companies come to my house before Legacy and they gave me an absurd price. However when Jimmy came, he was very helpful and very fair. He took his time when working which really showed me he cared about what he was doing. Anyone asking me for an electricity company will be referred to Legacy from now on. Thanks again Jimmy

Toby is knowledgeable, helpful, dedicated to making you satisfied, follows through and follows up. Few other business owners are as solid as he is and because of that he's my go to for all things lighting.

We had a great experience with Spirelli Electric. We contacted them based on Yelp reviews and spoke to Emily at the office. She was courteous and knowledgeable and very responsive. She left a message for Joe to call us later the same day. Joe was very professional and helped us through a couple of options and provided recommendations. He checked on replacement recessed LED trims and called us back promptly with an estimate. He was also easily available for a couple of follow-up questions. There was never a problem contacting him or Emily. There were also follow-up emails. We scheduled the installation of nine LED cans and trims about two weeks later. Jeff Uffer was our electrician. Jeff was terrific. He called us from the road to confirm his arrival time. He was very professional, friendly, very courteous and managed his time very efficiently. He was very careful and cleaned up very well upon completion. Invoicing was done electronicalliy on the spot and we received an email confirmation and invoice copy. Work quality was excellent and cost was very reasonable, as promised. No surprises. We will definitely call Spirelli Electric again in the future and we'll ask for Jeff.

Super quick and great service.  Vincent responded within a few minutes of getting the Yelp request, came early the next day for an estimate, which was very fair. Work was done the next business day - the work team was very professional and left the house in great shape when done.  Highly recommend.

On time, installed a stove and connected a microwave. Pleasant installer. No issues, all in all very pleased and would use them again.

MV Electrical Contractors completed lighting work at my new condo in Hoboken. Mike was so professional and did an excellent job. I am very pleased with his work and highly recommend this company. His prices were very reasonable and he was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Tommy and John were great. Extremely courteous, careful and clean. Handled a tricky chandelier with ease and professionalism. Highly recommended.

He replaced the water tank with a Chinese version of a piece, which ruined the tank. The breakers also weren't actually checked. I had to replace my water tank with.a new one and it my hot water still doesn't work. I blew so much money on a new tank and installation, only to find out it was a breaker problem, that wasn't initially checked and mended. No explanation after this experience. Horrible.
