Best Electricians in New York

I had a huge emergency this past Friday with by business and Jorge and his whole staff where so compassionate putting off everything for that day and staying well into midnight working to get my business up and running for the morning. I thank all of JMG Electric for taking the time from their very busy schedule. I would highly recommend them and they will always and will be my only electricians. And I'm making sure I take time out of my day to write reviews on every website possible like they took the time out of their day for me.

Grateful to have Anthony and his guys on speed dial for every time this old house needs help.  Most recently Kevin and George were here doing a quick turnaround after the electricians opened up some walls and ceiling.  In a day they had everything patched and painted - wouldn't have known there were ever any holes!  A few years back they did a full facelift on the rental unit.  The guys take pride in their work, clean up after themselves, and want the customer to be satisfied.  I know Anthony does a lot of big jobs, but I really appreciate that he makes time and does equally great work on the smaller jobs like mine.  He's one of the good guys!

Called them up to install a nema 14-50 outlet to charge an EV. Installation was very smooth and done promptly.  Nermin was very courteous and answered all my questions. He made sure the outlet worked 100 percent before leaving. Would def recommend for any electrical project!

Emailed and called and no response. Sad as they are one of a few recommended electricians recommended by Tesla in NYC

I trust this father/son team! I've used them twice for small jobs, and have found them professional, helpful, thoughtful, and kind.  I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for respectful, professional service and a company that goes the extra mile to serve their customers.

I went in for advice on replacing part of a lighting fixture, in the end the owner wasn't able to help me but he was very nice / friendly and tried to help.

Meanwhile I saw various others come in and pick up repaired lamps, shades and buy bulbs.
The store is not big and there are not a huge amount of lamps etc inside but the owner will help you find something specific if you ask, he is quite a character and seems pretty cheerful, happily humming away while classical music plays in the background.

The service was excellent!  Emily explained everything I needed to know and called me back within minutes to confim the technician would be at my home that day. The technician, Darwin was very friendly and knowledgeable! I was so happy with his service. I will definitely be using this company again and asking for Darwin.  Thank you thank you!

Super quick and great service.  Vincent responded within a few minutes of getting the Yelp request, came early the next day for an estimate, which was very fair. Work was done the next business day - the work team was very professional and left the house in great shape when done.  Highly recommend.

This is the second time I've worked with Malfettone electric, both times for outlet installs (plus running cat5 cable the first time). They're great. Super responsive, prompt, easy to work with, extremely professional, nice, and most importantly, the jobs were perfectly executed, and quickly. They explained any options clearly and identified what the best practices are. I also really appreciated that they were willing to do smaller jobs - a lot of electricians and contractors aren't. So happy to have found them!

We needed an electrician for another project, and DZ Electrical was again fantastic. Friendly workers, finished the job quickly, and went out of their way to make sure the finished project looked good. Recommended very highly!

I was amazed by how professional Paul was during the free estimate for the job. After I told him what I needed, he spent 30 minutes looking around the job site while explaining to me the details of the job.

Paul and JT finished upgrading my electrical panel, installed an outdoor light fixture and an outlet for the generator. Their work was amazing, professional and detailed. He even notified me of the problem with the line to my stove and fixed it accordingly. After everything was done, they made sure that the job site was spotless and we went over how everything works. I highly recommended them for your next project.

Mike was an excellent electrician. He came promptly, worked quickly, and gave us a deal.  I would use MV electric anytime.

Very good communication and flexible with scheduling. They did angood job at a reasonable price.

He replaced the water tank with a Chinese version of a piece, which ruined the tank. The breakers also weren't actually checked. I had to replace my water tank with.a new one and it my hot water still doesn't work. I blew so much money on a new tank and installation, only to find out it was a breaker problem, that wasn't initially checked and mended. No explanation after this experience. Horrible.
