Best Electricians in New York

Called after a stormy night (also saw their van in my block that day coincidentally).  Some of the circuits in our house was damaged - where the circuits had power, but low power so that lights on it were dim, and any electronics plugged on it did not turn on at all.

Called FH Electrical Contracting and left 2 voicemails.  Paul contacted me back in 2-3 hours, and told me that he was in the neighborhood and worked on a neighbor's home - same issue.  He told me that he found out that its a Con Edison issue where some of their breakers external to the homes were fried.  He told me i didnt need an electrician and it'll be a waste of money.  He advised me to wait it out, unplug my electronics, and gave me a coned service ticket number that he (or his customer) opened today.  

I called Con ed and reported the issue, and when i got home that night, a con ed truck was outside temporarily fixing neighbors that were experiencing the partial blackout on the block.

The business is honest, modest and friendly. They saved me money (but not coming in to check my issue) and pointed me with the right guidance on fixing it (ConEd + service ticket number)

Paul was fantastic in addressing an electrical issue where my AC was not turning on.  I was in a jam with a young family on a hot summer day and he graciously spent his time patiently going through all the things that could be the issue and helped resolve the issue.  Extremely friendly and a gentleman.  I have found my go-to electrician.  Thank you!!

I was referred to Triton by some people at the Lamp Warehouse who said they'd heard good things about Sal's company. My first experience was pretty good - I had an overhaul of the electricity and wiring in my 1923 Finnish Co-op apartment. I thought the job was comprehensive, so it made sense that it cost $3,300 (Dec. 20ish 2008). But less than six months after that (June 2008), the front end of the apartment's wiring went out. Turned out, the first rewiring wasn't the whole unit, it was mainly along the living room, dining room and kitchen line. I didn't have a receipt or work statement to refer to, so I wasn't clear that this would need to be done in a new job.

The new job, which included rewiring the bathroom and bedroom area with new dedicated wires (to replace the cloth ones) was quoted as $1,700. But this time around the little things were problematic. Switch plates for the light switches and outlets were removed without being replaced, or in the case of one that was replaced, was jutting out at least 4 mm from the wall, so I continually am slicing my hand on the switch plate.

The estimated two-man crew and two days turned out to be one man working one and a half days, so I am baffled as to why it cost so much. There was also clumps of spackle dripped all over my walls and on the jackets hanging in the hall near where they were. These coats weren't underneath them, just sort of near by.

Also - it took weeks of trying to coordinate to get the second job done, so if you're in a hurry, this might not be the place. Miffed the second time around, but based on the first job, I believe it's a decent firm.

Danube Electric did a fantastic job on my apartment. They are licensed in Electrician, Heating, and Cooling. They interviewed many other electricians, and chose them because they were reasonably priced and very reliable. I will most definitely use them again. Keep up the good work!

Al is professional and does quality work! From replacing two pronged outlets, replacing a kitchen faucet, assembling a treadmill - Al can do it all! He's also very responsive when I get in touch with him, which is truly appreciated. I will definitely ask him to help with assembling things or repairing things around the house again!

Angelo called me right back when I called his number. He was super nice, courteous, prompt and did a good job. His rates are very fair. I would recommend him. He is now my Electrician Guy.

We recently bought a new house and wanted to make some electrical upgrades throughout so we did some research online and found Wes Electric. After receiving our estimate we decided to use Wes. Some work included recessed lights,  ceiling fans, 200 amp service upgrade, and replacing all of our outlets.  The work came out perfect we were surprised how much adding some lighting could make such a difference in our home. The guys who did the work were neat and professional and always made sure to clean up at the end of the day. We would recommend Wes to anyone looking for a reliable electrician.

I recently hired Joe Spina to fix some dimmer switches in my kitchen. Not only was he prompt, courteous and fairly priced, he also explained that the previous electrician has installed the improper switches for the type of light bulb. It was clear from speaking with Joe that he really knows what he's doing and take pride in doing the job right. He has been an electrician for 35 years, and I would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a fair, honest and skilled electrician.

Marco installed outdoor lighting for my backyard and he did a great job.  Great service and professionally done.  

I would use Marco again for other projects.

I have a pool in my yard, and initially, I had another electric company do the work.  Well....they did not finish bonding the water and did not install a socket for the salt pack.  As a result, my pool failed inspection by my town.  Called the electrician only to find out he went out of the country for a month due to family issues. Fine, but no one was there to cover? Left 3 messages, and in a week, no one got back to me!!
I found Haddad Electric online on a search, called them on July 2nd at 9:30 pm fearing that my pool would not be ready to use for the 4th of July holiday if I kept waiting for the other electrician. I received a call back within less than a minute (I'm not kidding!!) and the electrician was super friendly and helpful. Someone came the next day on the 3rd, everything was done and up to code, and my pool was ready for the holiday!!!! I will DEFINITELY be a return customer!! I am very grateful to them!!!!

I would not hire this company at all because they're very unprofessional! I spoke with Drew (Andrew), assuming thats his real name on Thursday-July 5 and he told me someone would show up at my house on July 6-Friday between 1p-2p. Not only they never showed up but when I specifically told Drew that I have to work and would be leaving work early Friday so I can meet with their electrician given my need for their electrician to fix my door buzzer, no one showed up nor picked up the office phones after my repeatedly calling as I got stood up and lost wages by leaving work early for this poor service company, so NEVER again and be advised, proceed at your own risk....

I had what turned out to be a small but difficult electrical problem, that most electricians  considered to be to small and messy and not worth the effort. I called every electrician in the nabohurghood most of them didn't  return any of my calls.
Mr Paskor returned  my call the same day. It took a few back and forth phone calls and about 2 weeks before we could work out a schedule  to get the work done. The job took 3 hours. I was very happy with the work and the price was excellent.
I have a few more electrical projects and would be more than happy to hire Mr. Paskor to do the work.

i hired this company, for a contract price of over $3000.00, they came late, took long lunch hours, and left early, it was agreed that the work would be completed within 3 days, it took 6 days, and they actually did not want to complete the work as stated in the contract, they only completed half and wanted to break the contract because they had other jobs to do , needless to say i have never used them again .
