Best Electricians in New York

I have used Paul Gennaro and his team from Forest Hills Electric for many jobs, both big and small over the years. They always did great quality work at a price which was high, but fair. It appears that Paul has sold the business and moved on. When I recently had them do a couple of non-emergency jobs at my house, I found the new owner was just as polite and prompt as ever. However, the comprehension of the job was not as good as before, and the price charged was more exorbitant than fair. Finally, I found the finish on one of the jobs to be quite unprofessional, and a subsequent attempt to resolve it with the owner was less than satisfying. I'll keep using them in the future but will make sure pricing and expectations are clearly set out before the job is begun.

Everyone at A-1 is outstanding from Cyndy in the office to electricians Paul and Jason. They are professional, punctual, and extremely neat.  We recommend them highly!

We have used Anderson Electric twice and both times been fully satisfied with the service.  They are kind, respectful, efficient, and professional.  Reasonably priced, got the job done with minimal disruption to our days, and we would use them again for any electrical needs.

Sal and his super detailed crew re-wired my whole house top to bottom right after I bought it - a 1901 wood frame Victorian in Flatbush. A big job. Thing I was most afraid of was the holes in the wall that were inevitable from this sort of work. But they re-plastered everything perfectly and I can't even see the work underneath after re-painting. I've had a lot of contractors in and out of the house over the last year and Sal is the only one I wouldn't think twice about calling again - although I don't think I'll need to for a long time given how thorough he has been.

Mancini is a true professional, reliable, and consistent. He knows his job well and during times of desperate need he helped me and my family. I truly appreciate his work

Danube Electric did a fantastic job on my apartment. They are licensed in Electrician, Heating, and Cooling. They interviewed many other electricians, and chose them because they were reasonably priced and very reliable. I will most definitely use them again. Keep up the good work!

I found Al on Instagram. His response to my request was super fast and thorough. Al installed 7 curtain rods throughout my house making it feel like home! He came prepared with a face mask and booties for his shoes. Super professional, will definitely use him again! THANK YOU!!!

I recently needed some minor electrical work done in my condo.  I looked around and thankfully found Angelo.  I had called two other electricians and one never called back and the other gave me a quote for the work over the phone but even though it was very reasonable he left me with the feeling that he wasn't sure if he could do it let alone show up so he was out.  Within 1/2 hour of calling Angelo, he called me back and told me when he would be there, what the cost would be and sure enough, he showed up exactly on time, did the work as he said he would and charged exactly what he said he would and did a great job.  In today's day in age when most tradesmen are just average at best and charge a fortune it was great to find an electrician that was a lot better than average, he knew his trade inside and out and charged what he said he would.  I would use him again in a second and I already have more work that I need to call him to have done.  If you use Angelo you can't go wrong.

We recently bought a new house and wanted to make some electrical upgrades throughout so we did some research online and found Wes Electric. After receiving our estimate we decided to use Wes. Some work included recessed lights,  ceiling fans, 200 amp service upgrade, and replacing all of our outlets.  The work came out perfect we were surprised how much adding some lighting could make such a difference in our home. The guys who did the work were neat and professional and always made sure to clean up at the end of the day. We would recommend Wes to anyone looking for a reliable electrician.

I recently hired Joe Spina to fix some dimmer switches in my kitchen. Not only was he prompt, courteous and fairly priced, he also explained that the previous electrician has installed the improper switches for the type of light bulb. It was clear from speaking with Joe that he really knows what he's doing and take pride in doing the job right. He has been an electrician for 35 years, and I would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a fair, honest and skilled electrician.

What an amazing company and owner. We had a power surge and mike walked through all possible scenarios with us before sending his crew. I have never experienced with such professional and courteous  service from electrical contractors. They identified the problem immediately. And I was impressed with their concern for our well being. I strongly recommend this company.

These guys are shoddy and shady. Took them a year to do my job, I dealt with a shifting cast of characters and they often showed up without any warning and left things a mess.

I had what turned out to be a small but difficult electrical problem, that most electricians  considered to be to small and messy and not worth the effort. I called every electrician in the nabohurghood most of them didn't  return any of my calls.
Mr Paskor returned  my call the same day. It took a few back and forth phone calls and about 2 weeks before we could work out a schedule  to get the work done. The job took 3 hours. I was very happy with the work and the price was excellent.
I have a few more electrical projects and would be more than happy to hire Mr. Paskor to do the work.

i hired this company, for a contract price of over $3000.00, they came late, took long lunch hours, and left early, it was agreed that the work would be completed within 3 days, it took 6 days, and they actually did not want to complete the work as stated in the contract, they only completed half and wanted to break the contract because they had other jobs to do , needless to say i have never used them again .
