Best Electricians in New York

We had a wonderful recent experience contracting with Forest Hills Electrical.  

I called Paul right before the New Year, and he was able to come a few days later to visit our place to walk through our needs and would later provide an estimate. He showed up with one of his guys, told him what we wanted, and he walked me and my wife through how he would approach the project, what type of material he would recommend, and how long he think it might take.  

A few days later Paul emailed me as promised.  I had several questions and his responses were prompt.  When we settled on the scope of work and I signed the paperwork, he provided all the necessary paperwork my co-op requires to have work performed.  Once it was all approved, he scheduled a date for the work to be performed.  A week before the scheduled date, I re-confirmed our appointment and again he promptly replied.

Fast forward to the date of work, Paul and his crew show up on time as promised.  They came in 30 minutes before work could officially start in the building to survey the apartment and prep.  They helped move furniture that needed to be moved, covered every surface of furniture and flooring.  Paul explained what was going to happen at each major turn and received my opinion when needed (e.g. where to place a light switch).  They were incredibly efficient and for all the dirt and dust they drew up, incredibly neat as well.  They finished their work within the time frame originally anticipated and were out of the apartment by 3pm.  

Paul and his crew were really great.  We now have the new lighting we wanted, it looks professionally done, and other than the patches for the small holes they made that will eventually be painted, you could never tell that a crew of four guys were running around my apartment all day running wire, making holes, etc.  

I would highly recommend Forest Hills Electrical Contracting to anyone.  They did a fantastic job and we're so happy with their work.

Sal and his super detailed crew re-wired my whole house top to bottom right after I bought it - a 1901 wood frame Victorian in Flatbush. A big job. Thing I was most afraid of was the holes in the wall that were inevitable from this sort of work. But they re-plastered everything perfectly and I can't even see the work underneath after re-painting. I've had a lot of contractors in and out of the house over the last year and Sal is the only one I wouldn't think twice about calling again - although I don't think I'll need to for a long time given how thorough he has been.

Mancini is a true professional, reliable, and consistent. He knows his job well and during times of desperate need he helped me and my family. I truly appreciate his work

Danube Electric did a fantastic job on my apartment. They are licensed in Electrician, Heating, and Cooling. They interviewed many other electricians, and chose them because they were reasonably priced and very reliable. I will most definitely use them again. Keep up the good work!

Handyman al can do it all, and he does it all in a very professional and timely manor! He came in way under the price of the competition producing better quality work than them! I've been using al for all types of jobs from Hanging a new front door to wiring up and hanging a fancy chandelier and they all came out top notch! It's hard finding honest reliable workers and now that I have he will be my first call every time I need something done!

I emailed Angelo, owner of Grimaldi Electric, Red Bank NJ  on Sunday evening at 8:30.  He called the next morning. He called again that afternoon to tell me he was on his way. We live in an older house with original wiring and additional add ons. A complicated setup to say the least. Within an hour and a half we had power. I can't tell you how much we appreciated his prompt service, professional demeanor and knowledge.  I would highly recommend Angelo for any job.

We recently bought a new house and wanted to make some electrical upgrades throughout so we did some research online and found Wes Electric. After receiving our estimate we decided to use Wes. Some work included recessed lights,  ceiling fans, 200 amp service upgrade, and replacing all of our outlets.  The work came out perfect we were surprised how much adding some lighting could make such a difference in our home. The guys who did the work were neat and professional and always made sure to clean up at the end of the day. We would recommend Wes to anyone looking for a reliable electrician.

Joe is a great guy, friendly, professional, fairly priced and on time. He did a great job fixing my garage lights, I highly recommend him.

Marco installed outdoor lighting for my backyard and he did a great job.  Great service and professionally done.  

I would use Marco again for other projects.

I was having trouble with the electricity cutting off to part of my apartment - including my AC.

I called another electrician in town since the first time this happened was on a Saturday and the electrician my building uses doesn't work weekends. I got the run around and they didn't show up when they were supposed to.

I had the building electrician out the following Monday. They didn't fix the problem and weren't available when the power went out again the next Saturday. I called Haddad first thing Saturday morning and Nick was at my apartment by 10:30.

Nick did a much more thorough check of all of the outlets and connections in my apartment. They determined it's probably an issue with my AC and told me to get that checked before having them do any additional work. In the meantime they're ordering parts just in case it's not the AC and they need to come back out.

They were super fast, super professional, super nice and I really appreciate that they didn't want to do a $500 repair until we have ruled out the AC as the problem.

Haddad is now my go to electrician!

I'd like to thank the owners of Leader Electric for amicably setting this matter.

After my review and email to the company the following things happened:

1) Leader sent a senior electrician to our apartment. This guy was very professional and amazing according to my spouse. He fixed the wiring (actually re-wired it) and the lights now work.

2) Leader called and said that the electrician who originally did the work in our apartment has been dismissed from their company.

3) Upon learning that we had to spend extra money to patch the various holes, Leader waived 50% of our fee, which we really appreciated.

4) Leader has a customer service team and the woman we worked with continually followed-up and left me feeling that this company has integrity, values professionalism and customer satisfaction is central to its mission. I say this since their customer service team was never rude and did not ignore our bad situation like *most* companies in NYC do... (I know this since I represented many families who dealt with fraudulent contractors after Hurricane Sandy).

I had what turned out to be a small but difficult electrical problem, that most electricians  considered to be to small and messy and not worth the effort. I called every electrician in the nabohurghood most of them didn't  return any of my calls.
Mr Paskor returned  my call the same day. It took a few back and forth phone calls and about 2 weeks before we could work out a schedule  to get the work done. The job took 3 hours. I was very happy with the work and the price was excellent.
I have a few more electrical projects and would be more than happy to hire Mr. Paskor to do the work.

i hired this company, for a contract price of over $3000.00, they came late, took long lunch hours, and left early, it was agreed that the work would be completed within 3 days, it took 6 days, and they actually did not want to complete the work as stated in the contract, they only completed half and wanted to break the contract because they had other jobs to do , needless to say i have never used them again .
